1881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now used to send messages to space on: March 08, 2019, 02:11:41 PM
Though I don't have someone to send message in space, it's still a great innovation and would be beneficial for future use. Great thing that it continues to develop and the usage of bitcoin continues to grow as well. As bitcoin continues to show great development and usage, it can also gather more recognition from the people.
1882  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to Get Rich Quick - Bitcoin on: March 08, 2019, 09:46:43 AM
Ok, it is not what you are thinking. Bitcoin is not a Get rich quick scheme, but the UK series "How To Get Rich Quick - Season 1 episode 3 includes some footage of a rich entrepreneur, Dave Fishwick, creator of Bank of Dave, discussing Crypto currencies as one investment option to become rich.

Luckily for us, the Bitcoin price at the time, generated a small profit when that episode was shot and he even commented that the profit he made then, were the equivalent of 3 years of interest in a local Bank.

I made 800%+ profit on my initial investment over a period of 4 years. (200% per year) - Go watch the series, it is full of good tips for the budding entrepreneur out there.  Wink <It is also not focusing on Crypto currencies, but all the methods that can be used to increase your wealth>  Cool

Edit - I wonder how many people will only reply to the Thread title and not on the content of the actual topic now.  Roll Eyes
Well it's a great thing to give advice how they become successful because of bitcoin based on their own story. It's a great help to give inspiration to others. But I think it's not easy to become rich. There are factors you have to consider, it includes being a risk taker, and also learning that sometimes there is always a failure. Just like in bitcoin, there's up and down and when you invest there's a possibility of gaining or losing
1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - the Chain of Knowledge on: March 03, 2019, 01:44:23 AM
Amazing story of yours! Your story gives a lesson that always look back to who you are before being successful and never forget about it. And it's also amazing that you didn't forget your past before you were able to earn money. And even in a small way you helped other that is also in need. Also hoping that the guy you met also helped other and the chain will continue, helping more people.
1884  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Couple Uses Bitcoin Wealth to Build World’s First Seastead on: March 03, 2019, 01:29:59 AM
It's quite interesting.. I mean the 'house-is-floating' is already interesting plus the fact that you were able to do and get what you want with the help of bitcoin, makes it more interesting. However while reading the article, I was expecting to see a picture though. It would be better to see a picture of the house so it's easy to visualize. Regardless of that, I hope they're enjoying it
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how with 5G be with bitcoin? on: March 02, 2019, 10:22:14 AM
Don't get why some are arguing if 5G will be beneficial or not and if we need it. Of course 5G will bring benefit to each individual. Its way faster than 4G and is easier and convenient. But 4G is still okay and fast. Both networks are okay. Its not like everyone is required to use 5G network. If you still want to use 4G then okay, but if you want faster than that, then use 5G. Still up to you what you want to use.
1886  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Steve Wozniak former Apple ceo is asked about his view on bitcoin on: March 02, 2019, 03:01:58 AM
But he says he sees it as the worlds single currency one day.
Uhm... For me it's hard to see bitcoin as a world's single currency. There's fiat and it will be hard to adapt digital currency to all country. If its possible, it would take more years. Thinking about what he sees, countries have different currency. For them to use one currency, it needs unity and then make it digital. Its kinda hard to see that the whole world would be united as one and decided to use one currency.
1887  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto ATM robed. on: March 02, 2019, 02:20:11 AM
It's not the crypto ATM that are risky. Just that, there will always be people who would choose to do bad things. ATMs will always be vulnerable for this kind of act and its not something new about ATMs being robbed. The thing that made it more risky is the location, I guess. Just glad that you've withdrawn everything but still feel bad for what happened
1888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Software will eat Banking on: March 01, 2019, 10:52:39 AM
It's a real thing... It makes us do things in more cheaper, accessible and convenient way. But I still don't think that cryptos can take over banks. Most people uses traditional system and even in the future, people will still use it.
In conclusion, they have their roles and will both exist and used by the people.
1889  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal fears Bitcoin :) PayPal CEO Dan Schulman Disses BTC & Praises Blockchain on: March 01, 2019, 09:48:55 AM
Of course they see bitcoin as a threat so it's not something surprising that they will throw shades about bitcoin. Though he still has a point. I mean bitcoin has its own pros and cons, and when you attack the other party, of course you'll tell its cons. It just matters how you view bitcoin yourselves.
1890  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and other cryptocurencies are not necessary says Chinese people on: March 01, 2019, 09:27:09 AM
China's population is no joke and they only conducted the survey to 4,200 people there. I don't think it's enough to conclude that cryptocurrencies are not necessary for them and to represent the whole Chinese population.
Also look at the brighter side, among those people they have asked, 98.22% of it knows bitcoin and/or cryptocurrencies. It's a good thing though, it just that they don't fully understand how it works.
1891  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Netflix to make a documentary about the altcoin side of crypto on: February 23, 2019, 03:16:46 AM
Netflix has announced they are working on a film/8 part documentary about the mysterious dark side of cryptocurrency. Well because it is in the background of the king of crypto.
There was alot of fallout in these alt coin markets due to the prices of some dropping to 95% of their value in just 6 months after those who purchased them causing people to be financially ruined.
It sounds interesting. I like the idea of making a documentary series about crypto. It could bring knowledge to people, how crypto works and how it could affect them. But I hope this would not only bring negative mindset to people about cryptocurrency. Also hoping that this documentary would have positive review.
1892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best new way to pay with Bitcoin on: February 23, 2019, 02:57:17 AM
I'm very excited for the new Samsung S10!! Looks like Bitcoin is at the top. Anyone else waiting to get their hands on this?

"The app appears to support ether (ETH) and bitcoin (BTC) by default, as there are logos for the two displayed in the Blockchain Keystore introduction image. Further, there is a cryptocurrency/token “add” button, so users will presumably be able to use other cryptocurrencies and ethereum-based ERC-20 tokens via the wallet."

It's a great thing that a large company is starting to adapt it. If this one becomes a hit, other company might as well try this innovation and add this kind of feature. This could also lead to curiosity and more people would try to get to know more about bitcoin.
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold on to your hats: We’re moving up yet another Bitcoin flagpole on: February 23, 2019, 02:44:04 AM
https://coinrivet.com/hold-on-to-your-hats-were-moving-up-yet-another-bitcoin-flagpole/

Bitcoin pumped with volume this morning to smash through resistance at $4,000.

After Bitcoin closed yesterday with its fifth daily green candle in a row, price broke out to trade above $4,000 across most major exchanges.

Its a good thing though but we can't really tell what will happen in the future. Bitcoin being volatile, we can't tell if it will continue to rise or drop. But let's just hope for something good to happen.
1894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trading Real estate for bitcoins your opinion on: February 22, 2019, 10:22:54 AM
I found a classified listing site that you can trade real estate for bitcoins
http://bit.ly/cryptorealestate
I have some properties and was thinking off leveraging my investments
so I was thinking of trading one for bitcoins what do you guys think?
It sounds good but it's up to you. It's a big risk cause we all know bitcoin and its volatility. But we never know, it might bring a positive outcome to you. I think you have to think about it even better before deciding.
1895  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is completely legal in at least 111 countries, and illegal in only 10 on: February 22, 2019, 01:11:22 AM

"According to findings from Coin Dance, there are currently at least 111 countries where Bitcoin is legal. In many others, Bitcoin’s legal status is up for question or the currency is subject to some restrictions.
It's a great thing that most countries don't restrict the use of bitcoin. But the things is, not all countries that have been said that bitcoin is legal, not all are like actively supporting and/or promoting bitcoin and other cryptos. Its just that, they allow people to use it as a digital currency but don't give much attention to it.
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung confirms the rumor! on: February 22, 2019, 12:45:46 AM
A lot of people are excited again to witness the new smartphone flagship of samsung. Few hours from now and they will reveal it.  Smiley

One of the best rumor is that, S10 Smartphone will be equip by a private cryptocurrency key storage, and it makes speculators think about that much.

https://www.coindesk.com/samsung-galaxy-s10-includes-private-crypto-key-storage - here’s some link to
More about this rumor.

I think its confirmed, and honestly it made me goosebump because it looks like most of the big companies are now  supporting cryptocurrency. This is the beginning, we will benefit a lot from this market.  Smiley
What a great news! Now that they're slowing giving ways for cryptocuurencies. Samsung is a big company and now they're adopting to it, for sure other phone companies would also adopt to this in the near future.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New hate wave? on: February 17, 2019, 02:41:07 PM
Bitcoin (BTC) received another negative assessment from central banks, this time Benoit Kerere from the executive board of the European Central Bank (ECB), calling the original cryptocurrency “an evil offspring of the financial crisis,” reports the Financial Times. That can be found on the network recently. Bitcoin fell and fiat experts immediately started a new wave of hate, do you think bitcoin will recover soon?
Of course they would throw hate and negative comments about bitcoin because they see it as a threat. They want it to go down so they would send hate and probably brainwash other people.
Regardless of the hate they continuously give, I know bitcoin will recover soon. Let's be optimistic and don't mind all those hate.
1898  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Make things possible on: February 17, 2019, 02:23:44 PM

Cryptocurrency is a big help for me, and I know most of us here enjoy the life of having more sources of income. Despite of the loses in trading, and in gambling I was able to save my profit just to have this kind of vacation , this is just one of my so many travel-goals this year, I’m forever thankful that Bitcoin helps me a lot for this travel goals. Don’t lose hope yet about the market trend, this is just a process,it will be a great year again.  Smiley
Great story of yours. I like the way how you shared your story and how crypto affect your life. I hope other would read this also 'cause your optimism could also bring positive thoughts to other, for them not to lose hope. Its nice that you achieved your dream and you've enjoyed your vacation.
1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Cryptocurrency change financial institutions completely? on: February 17, 2019, 02:10:05 PM
Well I went to a NEO coin Developer Convention today and based off everything they were discussing it sounds like Europe, Asia, S. America and N. America are getting ready to completely get rid of cash and unite the entire global economy. Those of you blockchain developers what are your thoughts on this?
If you mean completely getting rid of cash and adopting digital currency, it's a great development yet I don't think it'll be as easy as it is since not everyone are that good when it comes to technology. And it will be also hard to replace traditional currency since most people were already used to this type of currency.
The government will probably be strict when applying digital currency and it might be hard for bitcoin since of course, the government wants it to be centralized.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Visa and Mastercard decided to increase their Fees. And there is nothing y can do on: February 17, 2019, 11:58:20 AM
Visa, Mastercard mull increasing fees for processing transactions: WSJ

Visa Inc and Mastercard Inc, the two biggest U.S. card networks, are preparing to raise certain fees levied on U.S. merchants for processing transactions

They operate as a global duopoly. They operate a large chunk of global trade. They are ubiquitous on internet.  And they decide, without consulting anyone or without any justification, to increase their fee.

This is what centralized organizations will always make if they have the power to do. We need alternative means of payment to reduce that power and Bitcoin has to show itself as an alternative.
Since they are dominating and they know they have the market, its something you can predict that they'll use that advantage to increase its profit by increasing the transaction fee. It'll be hard for the consumer so it will be better if they find alternative one. And then there's bitcoin. But I don't think that most people would think bitcoin as their alternative.
