1881  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you hate about Bitcoin ? on: April 17, 2016, 06:25:42 PM
I'm not here to advertise any alternative coins , no worries .
Bitcoin is not perfect (nothing is if you ask me) , so I would like to ask users what are the things that you hate ? or simply don't like in Bitcoin and would like to see them changing (If possible of course) ?

I myself don't like the fact that we can't get at least an estimated number of the how much Bitcoin user there is out there or know how Bitcoin is growing .

Transactions shouldn't be taken seriously because there is a lot of services that use bots to make those transactions (sig campaigns , gambling websites , faucets , and exchange services).

Number of wallets in online services such Blockchain.info shouldn't be taken seriously as-well since making several accounts is possible.

the large number of scammers...
that's the worst thing, i think...
1882  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH being dumped now! on: April 17, 2016, 06:19:30 PM
As I write this its getting dumped in polo. Now I'm sure its fake pump and dump and not the shift of interest from bitcoin.

let the big fish pump and dump ...
I do not care, I have my money already earned with ethereum ...
this was made at each greater coin to the time now
1883  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Ethereum = Scam on: April 17, 2016, 06:13:28 PM
Ethereum is posted i see today as the big new story at Coindesk !
and i made a comment on it but it's of course awaiting moderation so i bet they will delete it.

Bottom line it's a dumb idea and it's an IPO and IPO's in crypto are ALL scams.
My advice to people is to avoid shit like this and notice who is jamming it down your throat too !
i came here today and out of nowhere page one is bloated with Ethereum topics.

i am going to copy what i posted at Coindesk to explain the reasoning behind why i think IPO's are scammy.

Note:
I just checked and Coindesk let me post my comment and replied "LOL"
i LOL'd too hhaha

ok so with out further ado, here is your new opinion everyone (the correct one) ..your welcome Wink

Belief in it doesn't matter, you arguing with a bag holder.
So XYZ scam is great.. no what (to them)

It could be Kick-A-Puppy Coin and these same guys will come here and babble on their usual dumb bs..

They have to..
Or else their IPO scam is going to make them broke.
Further more it's clear staff here pushed this through because their bag holders too.. guaranteed.
It's all rather transparent and obvious to people with a brain hat is going on and there is need to give my interpretation of it etc.

I doubt even 1% of the people coming here need to be convinced for or against this crap..

What we do in fact having going on in a tug of war for media perception as to whether this scheme (or others) is convincing enough to lure in enough of the usual guys.

Because nobody !
and i mean NOOOOOBOOOOOOODY
cares about chow scammy or stupid some stunt scheme is.
ALL they care about is can they get in on it and make some money on it before it crash into the dirt.
I am not the only one who sees a red flag with anything that has an IPO or "Angel Investing" or "Crowd Funding" etc
They are ALL scammy pyramid schemes.. designed for no other purpose than to get Bitcoin to cash out to fiat.

AND..

Even if a few of these IPO scams are honest and legit it still does not change the important point that IPO's and similar were before and still are just a porting of a concept from a REGULATED market to a FREE market.

You see an IPO in the NYSE is regulated and protects all parties involved with massive amounts of rules and oversight.
In our Crypto scene it's a gimmick and a tool to part you with your Bitcoin.. legally !

No one in crypto shoudl get involved in crap like this until we have our own Crypto-version of Berni Madoff serving time for a ponzi scheme or we have our own version of Martha Stewart serving time for Insider trading until then..

It simply is NOT fair and safe or possibly even legal what these guys are doing and if regulation is looming and imposed with out warning you people out there supporting crap like this could wound up waking up tomorrow with charges laid against you.

Be careful investing in crap copied from a REGULATED market with laws.. we are in a free market where Ponzi schemes, Insider Trading and outright fraud etc.. is legal.

Use your brains and keep the greed in check guys lol

Or don't and suffer the consequences and roll out the cliche's Crypto-Excuses™ i hear ever day lol

and.. and..
This comment is (of course) awaiting moderation LOL

I think that's great nonsense ... I think ethereum becomes very big in the future ...

How to earn money with bitcoin ?

i think the best way is buy bitcoins so many as you can, and wait 1 year... i think in the next 12 months the price goes up...
1886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: April 16, 2016, 10:51:44 PM
Bitcoin price rise will occur before halving in my opinion.Miners need to stay profitable.I see a spike to $1500-$2000 by halving then a collapse to $800.A steady rise back to $1500 by end of year. It will hit $4k in 2017.

it would be possible ... I think realistically rather >>> 700$-800$ after the halvening,

and at the end of 2017 1k-2k...
1887  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 16, 2016, 10:48:15 PM
Are you inspired by those bitcoin millionaires? Are you thinking of filing a resignation letter on your day job (if you have any) and focus on bitcoin instead?

Me? I do have a day job and I consider bitcoin as my side job. I don't want to lose that another source of income just because bitcoin is awesome.

would be quite beautiful, when i earn so much with bitcoin that I must no longer go to work...  Cool

but this is not more as a dream...  Cheesy

1889  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Zahlen mit und Nachkaufen von Bitcoins on: April 16, 2016, 06:26:02 PM
Hallo zusammen,

Cool Grin
1890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: April 16, 2016, 06:17:04 PM
I have been told that don't accept payments via paypal, is that right?
Because when buyer will have his bitcoins then he can claim back money from paypal by saying that i haven't received desired product.

I think this can not be Compared...  Wink

there are still too different operational purposes and acceptance...
1891  Economy / Economics / Re: How many Bitcoin do you have saved? on: April 16, 2016, 06:11:07 PM
Just recently got into BTC; I have 2.5 saved up.
Plan on taking 25% of each of my paychecks and accumulating and seeing what will happen in 2017 or later in the year.

Thoughts? Ideas? Speculation? Advice? Tips?

 Huh

i have arround 10 BTCTC in all my wallets together, i think...  Cool i will hold them and see what the time brings after the blockhalvening...  Wink
1892  Economy / Speculation / Re: sorry what is halving the price will rise e or reduce? on: April 16, 2016, 04:01:03 PM
so seen people saying halving all the time? what is it  so when bitcoin halving the price reduce or rise?

the price will rise... because the miners become not more 25BTC blockreward, rather 12,5BTC... i think its safe...
1893  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 16, 2016, 03:53:13 PM
So are you holding your bitcoins for future events such as halving or you more like to spend your bitcoins when you get it? I personally like to spend it for digital goods usually...

yes i hold my bitcoins definitly... i buy more and more and more, and wait...
a small part I use for trading with altcoins
1894  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 0.3 btc in a week on: April 16, 2016, 03:50:37 PM
Hey Guys,

Is there any way I can find 0.3 btc in a week? I can stay at the PC whole day. And for gambling I don't have money to gamble. Investments are scams. I won't ask for loans because I'm a newbie.

Any other way I can find 0.3 btc in a week.

Thank you.

get work... get fiatmoney from work...buy bitcoins with fiatmoney... Cool

1896  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: satoshinow.com pay? on: April 16, 2016, 03:47:17 PM
Hi
https://satoshinow.com is scam or pay?

Hard to know... Principally because they pay minimum 0.012 BTC, very high amount for a faucet. You claim 1000-3000 every 10 minutes, so you need at least (earning 3000 satoshi every claim) 400 claims that can be done in 4000 minutes, about 3 days without sleep, claiming every 10 minutes (with luck, because you can earn 1000 satoshi too).

I think it's just a waste of time. Need to wait and claim many times to know if it's legit or not. And they can ban you anytime for any reason (like say you are cheating) and there is nothing you can do if this happen. Better to stay away and use instantly paying faucets.

yes youre right...with the time you can do better things... Wink
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin no longer has a forum. on: April 16, 2016, 03:46:06 PM
Seriously difficult for me to understand how it can keep its position with less community that coins with a fraction of its market cap.

i think litecoin is dead...only a matter of time...

can i translate for portuguese to you?

We are no longer doing any volunteer / bounty translations. When we need any further translations we will hire professionals. We are looking to professionalise Mojo and will only use qualified contractors. This will ultimately benefit everyone in terms of value.

I think this is a good way to make MOJO more attractive for more people... good job dev... Smiley

Bitcoin Dev Peter Todd: Forced Soft Forks Send a “Dangerous Message”

In a recent blog post, Peter Todd, one of the more active bitcoin developers, raised the prospects of an amicable end to the so-called “civil war”. Setting out a condition, Todd states:
“If major industry players were willing to commit to layer 2 solutions, I’d be willing to support something like a forced soft fork, and I’d be willing to support a coin voting hard fork even if they didn’t.”

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-dev-peter-todd-forced-soft-forks-send-dangerous-message/

sounds good ... its time that finally a solution will be found ...
