1701  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy, what do you think? on: June 07, 2018, 10:36:22 AM
How much, in your opinion, has international relations influenced the world economy and what do you think about it?
I do not really understand much, I think the existence of international relations is concerned with some areas ie defense, socio-cultural and economic, that's all I know because I'm not very understanding and interested in international relations or anything like that, I think people who often analyze this especially in WTO ”World Trade Organization” understand what you are asking.
Yeah we share the same idea. I am also not really familiar about international relations, but i have a little bit of idea about what it is and how important it is. Having international relation means that you associate with foreign countries, not only for defense and other support for other countries just like friendly relations with other countries but also to boost ones economic state i guess, because building friendly relations among other countries means gathering also of investors and new opportunities for the citizens living by each others country.
1702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it enough? on: June 05, 2018, 04:32:17 PM
Yes i guess it is enough. Limited supply means higher demands, and what does it really imply will be higher price in the future once it will all be mined, aside from it, not all 21 million will be circulating, excluding those that are lost, it would be lesser than that amount, but still it will cost much when the time comes considering only a small amount of supply circulating the economy.

1704  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all the governments of the country united to strictly prohibit the exist on: May 12, 2018, 06:14:00 AM
Perhaps one day with the current bitcoin advances, bitcoin digital currencies will be an international currency for all countries, and make it easier for every human to make transactions between countries when going to another country.
if it happens in the future it will certainly affect the paper money that exists around the world, whereas we know when the banknotes have a lot of history and symbolize the diversity of a country with other countries.
if that happens, surely the government will not remain silent on the matter, there will be an agreement between state governments to immediately close the bitcoin network to the world.
what will you do if you have a lot of bitcoin.

That's a nice idea but for me it will not happen...  Yes probably a lots of country prohibit the use of cryptocurrency in their country...  But still they cant control everyone of us to stop it...  Bitcoin is not illegal nor scam...  So if government banned it for me it will probably the worst problem of every crypto user...  But as long as the time of bitcoin today is not against us...  Don't worry about it...  But incase it happen we need to depend the uses of crypto until the government realize it...  Hoping that soon they will get thia point...

Let's face it, if all governments illegalize crypto, it will not survive. For whatever reasons the governments may have if that happens, it will start a massive decline and people will avoid being into bitcoin. Thise who would prefer to still use it will have an extremely hard time and market will shrink.
Although there are still few that keeps supporting bitcoin when that happens, i guess it will be really a hard time for those supporters. There is also no telling what will happen if the government will really make a move and officially prohibit bitcoin all over the globe. And if really the government will be serious on this and for whatever reason they have, they will extremely do whatever it takes in order for the supporters to be on a hard time or if worsts comes to worst everyone who has bitcoin will be considered as criminal.
1705  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: May 07, 2018, 03:07:46 PM
What do you think, how many people are ready to sell their goods or services on crypto? Let's say that we have service which help quick and easy to build online store and sell for cryptocurrency. What kind of reasons can motivate people to start a crypto business?
Implementing and consolidating cryptocurrencies with small-time business might sound good on paper since we all know right now that cryptocurrencies are a big thing to the people but I don't think it would go well in the real-world scenario because pretty much all that cryptocurrencies are better at right now is to become a very good type of investment for people to use in exchange for established investment methods in the market that cryptocurrency investment could equal to or even surpass in terms of profitability.
Yes i agree, and besides more people would actually prefer to use their paper money instead of using their bitcoins or crypto as means of payment. Aside from that the population of those people who has bitcoin and has knowledge about it are less compared to those who are still using fiats for day to day transactions.
1706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best sources of information on: April 25, 2018, 07:17:35 AM
Social media is the best sources of information today, because of popularity that most of people focused if what may be the news.
We get maximum information from this forum.
Yes, telegram is also one of the best source.
Yes although lots of false information also are being spread through social medias, we cannot deny the fact that it is one of the reasons why crypto became popular, either good or bad news makes crypto on a hot seat. Anyway telegram also has some announcement regarding new and upcoming ico and other stuffs related to crypto aside from social media and here in this forum.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and the power of media on: March 29, 2018, 05:31:03 AM
As you can see in advertisements. Bitcoin is popular in advertisements like in Youtube and website ads. Media plays a big role in improving the image of Bitcoin.

Social media rather because 99% of these companies owned profit oriented media are against bitcoin and crypto. Even social media owners at the moment are under pressure mostly if under the jurisdiction of the US government.
As we can see, media plays a major role in bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but the fact is that whether its good or bad way of promoting bitcoin, it has still promoted bitcoin and that makes it more popular, because even me when i first heard about bitcoin, there are lots of bad rumors about it, but i just get the courage to tackle and learn more to what makes it bad. As of now social medias plays the major role of advertisements, and most of the people now are into it so it makes it more easier to promote.
1708  Economy / Economics / Re: HODL mentality destroys the currency aspect of Bitcoin on: March 27, 2018, 04:08:56 AM
It seems like only a small fraction of bitcoins as well as other cryptocurrencies gets earned while the vast majority of the coins are bought. But when people buy coins, they obviously aim exclusively at selling them later at a higher price, which is what speculation basically consists in because it makes no economic sense to buy a cryptocurrency to spend it on goods when people can easily spend fiat instead. However, if the price goes down, people aren't going to spend their coins either. And whenever someone complains about prices going down, the only reply they receive is just to hold to their precious bitcoins, no matter what the price could or would be. I have yet to meet anyone telling these bag holders to spend their stashes on something useful.

Apparently, the HODL mentality kills the currency aspect of Bitcoin.

Actually its not destroying bitcoins but people who are holding their coins and not selling it in the market are really making the price of bitcoins increase even further because the demand is increasing but the supply is locked so expect a higher price when people is keep on holding.

From my perspective, it is an erroneous attitude. Real value comes from real usage, while speculation doesn't belong here. When people keep on holding, it limits the amount of bitcoins being traded - that's definitely true. And although it contributes to a higher price, this price rise doesn't add anything to real value. What it actually contributes to in the long run is extreme volatility because, as I said, supply diminishes and markets become more susceptible to liquidity storms.

It really comes down to utility vs price, holding is good for the price but it harms the potential for bitcoin to have a high utility. The holding contributes to speculation which leads to wild price swings that make bitcoin near unusable as a currency and limit its utility. Without some utility holding will become a pointless and useless exercise because there will be no demand.
In other words it only means that trading would be no longer helpful? i guess this is where it will be going then, but to some point i agree with you guys. Most of the times when people asked what to do in every crucial situation in the market, they will just say HODL for it. At some point yes it has good impact, while some people keep on holding and limited supply of bitcoin are circulating in the market, more and more the demand will rise, and as of now that there are new investors who only knew bitcoin recently, and it makes the market more competitive.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin important on: March 23, 2018, 09:35:54 AM
In my own perception because it is been created for a good purpose, and one of which is it could be the future currency, hassle free(which is sometimes true sometimes not), and most of all and most common reason is that because it is decentralized, which isn't present to our current currencies. It would also be much riskier carrying cash while going from place to place.
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin is the new era of currency? on: March 15, 2018, 06:03:39 AM
Hard to say so, but for sure it added some action to the market and attracted a lot of money
I guess we can say that it created a new "industry" - crypto industry
will it be the same as now or will evolve more and more depends on many factors.. we will see what future will show us
Certainly I agree with you there my friend, although some people keep on saying its faster and safer way of transaction, some would also disagree, but the fact that there is a huge possibility that these will be the future currency or should we say overall as a new era of currency, it would also be possible that there will be huge development and so many modification in order to provide good or high quality service for us users and to all of the people which will benefit it.
1711  Other / Off-topic / Re: All CryptoCurrencies are scam? on: February 17, 2018, 07:59:09 AM
How could you say so? Maybe there are few sites and other promotions that are not true or should we say it fits your accusations, but it doesn't generalize or can be considered that all of the cryptocurrencies are like that. Aside from that it has already been proved that crypto is not like what you think it is, even though the risks are high still it can't be considered as scam.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we survive without Bitcoin? on: February 04, 2018, 03:54:25 AM
Yes of course, long ago we even survive this long without bitcoin, but if we consider the fact that the world is improving and keeps on innovating, surely bitcoin has a great contribution in our society, but it doesn't also mean we cannot survive although the fact is that nowadays we badly need money in order for us to support our daily needs and bitcoin was already considered as a currency for some other countries.
1713  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ridiculous BTC Prices Predictions by Experts? on: December 17, 2017, 06:31:39 AM
Some people simply make their predictions without any specific reason. Cannot always trust the words of crypto experts which is why I feel that our own research and predictions are what matter at the end of the day. John Mcafee has been making some pretty optimistic predictions about bitcoin in recent times and I do agree with him in some ways. I do feel that bitcoin has the potential to touch 100k in the next 2 years, but 500k is way too optimistic.
Most of us here doesn't always depend on somebody's opinion even those came from the experts, we tend to do our own researches in order for us to answer our own questions, but there are also few that are dependent about the news and from those opinions. It is also true that because of those experts advice there are also some big impact happened and that is why most of the people get interested into listening about predictions.
1714  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: November 26, 2017, 04:22:04 AM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?
you tell that many people invest her money in bitcoin. if it's not good opportunity why people invest it. always bitcoin is for invest cause bitcoin give you many earning opportunity and give huge way. if you saw bitcoin price chart you see every day bitcoin price increase. if you buy bitcoin and hold it. after two year you get huge profit. this way you get golden life.
Not all the times bitcoin will give your a lot of profit because for example this year, the price of bitcoin is already high and when the price of bitcoin is very high then there is a higher risk for you that you can just lose your money and get a very huge loss. Investing in bitcoin somehow risky but if you know what are the things to remember and to do then you can just feel comfortable to invest your money into bitcoin.
There is always risk involved once you are going to invest, you need to consider the consequences and if you do and you are really willing to invest then it is up to you. One of the main reasons I see nowadays why people want to invest, or invest in bitcoin is that, because of the price, they see the price that its high and they become curious, and then they try to find way to look about it, and how to have it, and then they will discover that it can be bought up, and that's their way of saying it can be invested.
1715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is illegal in some country on: November 25, 2017, 07:42:20 AM
Bitcoin being illegal in some countries probably has reasons. Maybe bitcoins are used more on illegal transactions or crime that is why the government announced bitcoin as ilegal. Or maybe they just don't have any profits from it.
Government and the users are the factors to consider here.
Sooner or later it will be implemented, for the part of the government and their good own reason why some of them ban it actually, because of what you have said maybe there are some illegal activities happening, and its true that it is so hard to track the certain person doing behind those happenings, that is why the most effective way they can do is to ban. It doesn't mean that bitcoin really is illegal, its just the people who used it doing so makes it illegal.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Superstition on: November 24, 2017, 04:16:25 PM
i had an experience before an old man told me i had fo sit where the moon face and i followed what he said unfortunately it did not effect i still lose in the game from that day i did not believe him and i don't believe anymore in superstitious belief what i believe in gambling is luck.
It's really ironic that gamblers spend a lot of money on these people as well they seek to gain the good luck in their games and they still end up losing money which is very stupid in my opinion.
It really stupid why do some people do really still believe on these kind of things which suppose dont really work at all specially on gambling knowing that it do only rely on luck for us to win. They would only stop if they did able to experience loss on using that way or beliefs but later on when they do hear out a new one they would use it again and trying out and might would work.
Who can blame them, maybe they have done things like that and it actually worked well for them so that have faith that it will work out for them again and maybe it continously works for them so no need to break their winning streak.

They don't actually work, nothing works in gambling! That's a proven fact. Whatever worked for them was mere coincidence and it will not happen all the time. There would be a great chance that it won't work on the second time they do it, if it doesn't fail the second time, then the next few tries will prove it that it doesn't work. No gambling superstition really work, it just is luck.
Those winnings are just coincidence when they do play gambling and did won while using such things. Any strategies to enhance luck isnt real and they would really just remain as superstition or anything that we do believe it. We are just using it because we would like to prove something that they do really work but still you would end up on losing on most cases.
There are also no scientific basis that what you did really affects your winnings and losses. Winning in gambling is just a mere and pure luck, well some people also believe that because of their strategies and their styles of gambling it could also boost their winning rate, but that is not true, pure luck is the only key, even though you got skills on gambling it doesn't really count.
1717  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: November 24, 2017, 09:33:03 AM
Honestly I believe bitcoin is better since one you don't use your credit card so you don't loose you needed cash but instead your cash that you could easily earn back from mining. Plus, it's open to all ages unlike credit cards.

Bitcoin is a good or much better digital currency but  it is not yet acknowledge by the people around the world that is why it is being used my many but in a very limited areas only.
Yes personally I agree with what you want to say, though bitcoin has been promoted and has been popular and still rising to become more popular, there are still lots of areas in this world that doesn't knew what bitcoin is. There are also several cases wherein cryptocurrencies has been totally banned by the government, so guess what? they are still using regular currencies or generally fiats.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think you are a gambling expert? on: November 23, 2017, 11:07:01 AM
I really don't think I am an expert in gambling and I don't believe that anyone is really an expert when it comes to gambling,  because people are always losing money when gambling. The only expert when it comes to gambling is are the professional poker players.
gambling  experts don't exist if there was such a thing the worlds richest man would be a gambler and not all businessmen im sure many of the billionaires do gamble but they don't depend on it for there income it just fun for most of them

I agree with your point, we are all gamblers,But Could we think that we are depend on our gambling income? No, most of the gamblers will said no, because gambling give you fun, enjoyment and winning but as a income we couldn't use gambling.
And about the thread, i also don't think that i am expert gambler, even this idea never come in my mind, because if anyone think that he is expert in gambling then he is living in a dream world.
lol they say no because they have already got a huge amount of loss and none in order to show other people that the loss he incurred in gambling isnt high they start making claims that they are gambling for only fun but in reality that is a form of their income

That's it, That is what happened. That's why people shout that they gamble just for fun. They are still hoping for profit but do not want to admit they expect profit. So they keep saying that they gamble for fun and do not care about profit
I couldn't agree to those people who says they just gamble for fun, but they've been gambling since then and as we speak of its term its similar to "addiction". They might keep on saying it but deep inside of them, they totally want to win on it, not only because of there tons of losses but as you can see they risk money with it, who would ever want to lose big amount of money and not gaining right?
1719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ATTENTION! Fake EtherDelta can stole your money! on: November 08, 2017, 04:06:35 PM
Thanks for reminding and giving us this important news. Well actually i've been hearing lots of complaints regarding this fake etherdelta, and i guess it should already be taken some immediate actions towards those who attempt to steal. This is alarming and we appreciate you for the concern, and for the awareness of everybody. Hopfully this will be resolved.
1720  Economy / Economics / Re: How to train your money for costly bitcoin? on: November 06, 2017, 02:41:51 PM
Its true that bitcoin price has gone very high and even middle class people would get astonished on seeing its price and think that they cold not afford that huge amount to buy a bitcoin.Instead, they could even buy bitcoins for 100 or 200 dollars. Also, they could wait until price falls before or after hard forks and buy more bitcoins.Either a smaller or tiny amount of bitcoin,we should just continue buying it monthly which would be more worth in future.
Waiting for prices to drop is not so good policy from bitcoin point of view. The price will swing from the 7500 dollars to 7300/7200 dollars. After that next big leap will be there. Thus waiting till the fork is over might not work as expected. Same thing happened when bitcoin-cash was launched. One thing for sure, chinese influence on the bitcoin market is over. Now there are many companies and users from many countries heavily investing in the bitcoin. When chinese exchanges were closed everyone was thinking that bitcoin price will fall. Nothing happened. In fact prices were increased by leaps and bounds. Check the price trends in bitcoin from last December or last years July.
I further agree with what you were trying to say. There is no less risk when your waiting for the lowest possible price for bitcoin, besides its never really a good idea to just wait on dips and buy, but it will soon to follow those regrets that are at the end when you try to buy at the peak. Bitcoin fluctuation nowadays is literally mind breaking to guess or analyze.
