I don't know what your assumption is to make real sociedad the favorite to win this season. Although that is not impossible in football but in the Champions League, We know that other team still dominate the Champions league as favorites to win, Such as bayern munich, Manchester city and also real madrid. I will not refer to the improvement in performance of a team in the group phase and that is a strong reference that they will be able to become one of the teams included in the ranks of team that are candidates for winning the title. In fact, I think that psg will be able to stop real sociedad performance in the round of 16 because psg is more experienced in the Champions League and also has a better performance compared to them.
You can see the strength of other teams such as Bayern munich, Real madrid, which are able to perform better this season, Even these two teams are not only strong in the champions league, They also appear impressive in the domestic league. It's a choice that Zidane still holds and I don't think it's about selfishness but commitment.
He is always careful in choosing a club and this is the way he continues to maintain his image as a coach who is taken into account rather than just choosing a job that is ultimately detrimental to himself so it would be better if he was more selective and that is still proving to be very good now.

Inter Milan isn't playing in the UEFA Europa League competition rather it is AC Milan that will be playing in the playoff Europa League after finishing third in the group F in the just concluded group stage of the UEFA champions league so I believe you meant to write about AC Milan and not their city neighbours Inter Milan.
Again, Atletico Madrid finished as the group winners of the group E in the UEFA Champions League and wouldn't be playing in the Europa League.
AC Milan who play Stade Rennais in the playoffs is one of the strongest teams of the competition and it's believed that they're surely gonna reach the round of 16 because their superior number of quality players. Atletico Madrid gave it their all, even though I didn't think they would win because Sevilla seemed to be playing not to let any goals get in. I knew from the start that the game would be difficult and that someone would need to be cautious. Atletico Madrid scored in the second half, and I believe that was a mistake on the part of Ramos, the defensive player, or Sevilla after the ball was played poorly and the player from Atletico Madrid scored. I also think that was a fortunate goal for Atletico Madrid, and I'm happy that they won because it meant they would at least be able to compete with Barcelona.
Fans of Barcelona were hoping that Atletico Madrid would draw the game so that Barcelona would stay in third place in the league table. However, As it turned out, Atletico Madrid won, and Barcelona moved up to fourth place once more. If the teams return from their current Christmas break, I have no doubt that they will do so with great strength, and if Barcelona wants to be in a good position this season, I believe they need to perform well rather than the way they are now.

I have seen lots of posts in the forum here claiming Aston Villa might end up surprising everyone this season. I will just shake my head. How do you even think Aston Villa will win the league title? I am not underestimating Aston Villa, but I do say that the highest they can do is to end the season in the top 4, but they can’t win the league. Aston Villa performances have been really nice this season, and everyone keeps on being surprised by their nice performances, but we saw how they messed everything up yesterday. I never believed the match would be difficult for Aston Villa to win, but they couldn’t win the match, it ended in a draw.
If Aston Villa were able to win their match against Sheffield again yesterday, then they would have been in first place currently, but they wasted the great opportunity to stay in first place. I am always expecting disappointment from a team like Aston Villa at any moment and am not always shocked by the outcome of their match.
Aston Villa in the last 1year have been the highest point takers in the EPL. They've been exceptional at their games, winning almost always and ensuring that they stay at the top chart. No one saw them coming and they've been able to be consistent, keeping home win records this season and they've not failed to cause troubles for teams. They've got the capacity to remain on top but I really don't think City who's now below them would let them stay there, so if at all there'd be a change in the standings, then Villa won't go below the 6th position. They're so good to even try qualifying for the UEL next season. Definitely even if their opponent for the round of 16 may put up a competition, there's still this confidence that they'd subdue Leipzig and advance to the quarter finals and even win the tournament. |
