admit to the forum i offered to negotiate a refund with you. admit to the forum you proposed you should keep the watches and get a 50% refund. delete all your BS posts from this thread. and i will unlock the OP so you can continue to bad mouth me.
I do not trust you to send the refund. I would do the refund through a trusted party as I would much rather have my $250 back then these watches. I paid $250 for the watches and have found the value to be about $60. I offered a half refund as an option so both of us would be a little screwed, a meet in the middle kind of deal. I am not deleting posts from here as I have not posted anything untrue.

Depends, how good of counterfeits are they?
Poor. I will post pictures later, it might take me few days. I will have to get a good camera out because an iPhone is not going to take pictures that close. The Tag Heuer has the band wrong and the face wrong. Also the date indicator is tilted where on the real thing it is even.

Why would he want to change the conditions in your favour after the fact? Makes no sense.
You should have insisted before the fact, he has dealt through escrow with other bettors.
Which is why I'm standing by my bet. I just wanted to make everyone aware that they should use an escrow. Honestly I think you made a good bet. And should you win I expect you will be paid. Should you lose, have those coins ready.

Why don't you unlock that thread and allow others to post their experience in it.

He offered a deal to you, and you accepted. You may not trust him but you have put nothing up and he also has to trust you. If you do not like those terms do not bet.
I personally think what he is offering is a little foolish but it shows he has much more testicular fortitude then I do and he believes in what he is doing.

you no longer have the option of a refund. piss on you.
Basically I just want others in the future to know how you deal. And the above quote from you shows it perfectly.

Why don't you do that here? Done. You need to post any evidence for the scam there though. I will.

read the description again. i never promised they were legit. i stated in plain english i dont know the history about these items or what its worth. it was a gamble. you lost. dont cry. i offered you a refund. you dont wanna send the goods back. go to hell. i have nothing more to say to you. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=98762.0I asked specifically about the Tag Heuer watch, you responded specifically. Considering that the Movado and the Tag are all fake I would say you misrepresented the items. As I said, I do not trust you. I would send back to a trusted forum member but not to you.

Why don't you do that here? Done.

you got your watches. i have the tracking number to prove it. i already told you if your not happy return them. you refused. instead you tried to guilt trip me in to letting you keep the watches and getting a 50% refund. fuck you. I got my fake watches. I don't disagree with that. I do not trust you to give me anything back. You lied before and you continue to lie.

Unfortunately BTC guy scammed me with fake watches. I would not trust him to pay when time came. He locked the thread as well so I can not comment there.

Why cant you just pay them whatever you get back from Pirate, minus your 1.5%? You sold these bonds couple weeks ago, at 1.50. If Pirate does pay out, wouldn't you be feeling sorry for them? I mean.., I would, at least a bit Why to barter about the pity interest? Trolls gonna to troll... Since when trolls ask questions for which almost everyone would like to hear answer? Try to read the contract and try to figure out where I am obligated to have the BTC. Then try to figure out what you are asking me to do and see if that would require me to have the BTC in two places at the same time.. This can not be made more clear. Also do not forget your contract was with me, not pirate. If you are asking me why will I not break the contract just because you want me to be nice, well lol you are silly. How about I brak the contract if pirate does not pay me back? You all will be nice right? Oh lol! What am I asking you to do? Am I daring asking you to break the contract? No - not at all. I don't even have one of these shitty bonds. I'm just saying that you are mean. And also that you should feel embarrassed. But you obviously don't. I also do not have any of these bonds. But as the insurance paid out as stated I would not call them shitty. I would call them fantastic. I was leery of these 'insured' bonds but obviously Goat has honored his commitment. Other pirate depositors do not have access to their coins at the moment at all and if these holders wanted to cash out they can do it now at a potential advantage. That advantage alone could be worth much more then that interest payment.

Good luck mate. i doubt you can snag that much though.
Does not seem like an unfair number actually.

I sense the history of e-gold repeating. Perhaps there has been a government raid or demands recently imposed upon liberty reserve? I see no other reason for them to suddenly start blocking accounts, going overdue in maintenance mode, acting unreliable and basically ruining their own business? Will be interesting to see this unfold, I am afraid we might see the death of LR. There is lots of business going on in LR that will need to find a new home. Shame to lose another good payment processor, but hey, maybe bitcoin can take its place?
It wouldn't surprise me if we just saw the last breath of LR. There was always the suspicion that it was a fractional operation. That the operators doubled as exchangers able to give themselves unlimited LR dollars, which they sold for Western Union payments or whatever. Such a scheme would collapse if the net-flow turned negative (like a ponzi). The timing here is very suspicious, coming right after a peak in BTC price. That suggests other e-currencies were chasing BTC, a run which may have broken the LR bank. Hard to say. LR charged enough fees to warrant them continuing operation vs trying to steal the money. Why would you steal all the money and risk jail etc when all you would have to do is wait 100 days for the same amount to come in fees. Something else is going on.... a hack..... government intervention..... who knows??

The blog now lists downtime until the 22'nd. Could you imagine the uproar if paypal was down that long?

This has been discussed before and many of us believe that is what pirate is doing. You can defeat pirate by not falling into his trap by panicking.
Since STOP orders are not offered on Gox, you physically have to hit the panic button to unload an underwater position. Since leverage is not offered on Gox, you are not pressured into hitting the panic button, nor are you forced liquidated. Buy low, Sell high. Exactly. If you do want to 'daytrade'.... set a price that you think bitcoin is worth. Do not change it unless there is new data, not emotions from seeing the price go up and down. Then buy when the price is below that by lets say 1 dollar, and sell when it is 1 dollar above that. You will probably make money. Stay sane, do not panic and do not play with money you can not afford to lose.

This is very simple call option contract. The only problem with such a contract is counter party risk. Ignoring that the contract should not even be too expensive.
Basically OP wants to buy a right (but not obligation) to buy 2100 BTC at any time during week commencing December 1st, 2013 i.e. for 100£ per 1 BTC. It is european style call option. I would not mind to sell american style call too, this can be exercised at any time, before or on expiration date.
Without doing any calculations just looking at the chart I would guess that the fair price is somewhere around 4 000$.
I would sell such call. But I would not do any any escrows. Maybe if needed I would prove ownership of the amount and place it in a separate cold wallet under my control. I would be happy to sign a written contract on this in my personal name.
(Selling calls and puts was always my favourite option strategy).
I was gonna offer to do it for $5000 but if you are willing to do it for $4000 I would not compete with that.
