I forgot to post yesterday, so, I'll do it now. Interesting that all 8 games yesterday ended with under 2.5 goals. I barely can remember such cases.
It was terrible day for me in betting, I hope that today things will be better.

and Trofo is still near relegation zone   Grin
Relegation to Europa league zone? Cheesy
1882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Formula 1's Crypto.com Sponsor Is Falling Apart on: October 11, 2022, 11:37:21 PM
It seems that they simply took too much and haven't prepared that market will go down that much. When I started to see their ads on all major sports like NBA, NHL, F1, EPL and etc, I was surprised that they have such deep pockets because advertising there cost huge money. Their 20 years deal with arena in L.A. summarize it very well. Everything is fine as long as things in market goes as they planned, but now things doesn't looks so positive.
P.S. OP or admins, please move this topic to Bitcoin Discussion, it has nothing related to gambling.

Their arena should be able to provide funds for them to survive this current crisis. They should be using it for the exhibition fights and gain profit including the PPV.

People not coming out of the house due to covid is helping esports to grow more than going physically to motorsports and car races. It's fun but people are saving because of the high prices.

Arena doesn't belongs to them. Crypto.com just bought naming rights, they won't earn anything from it. Such advertising will cost them $700 million for 20 years.
1883  Other / Meta / Re: Why there is NO meme category in this forum? on: October 11, 2022, 11:22:52 PM
Maybe because Bitcointalk isn't Reddit? Memes is fun thing, but dedicating whole category for it on Bitcoin forum isn't needed at all. If you have memes, you can post it on dedicated topic which was posted above. Also, even dedicated topic isn't needed. You can post memes on any other topic, but you should feel when it's right time and place to do it. Good example for it is Wall Observer topic.

I cannot give you any suggestion as I got it since playing daily since February 2021 and that is a lot of time that I roll at least 7-8 a day,it has become a habit of mine but as I say that is a very long time just to get 2 dollars.
You know what, I'm playing since 2015, rolling faucet at least few times every day all these years and best that I got was $0.20. Mathematically I had to roll 10000 at least few times, but I didn't even got $2 in 7 years. But I'm not complaining, I'm just not very lucky.

I mean, $2 is still $2. In my country, that could get like 3 cups of coffee Smiley
I wish that coffee in my country would be so cheap Cheesy. Well, you can get 2-3 cups for $2, but I don't think that it can be called coffee.

I wonder if we have on the forum people for whom it is a "daily job".
Offcourse we have. But it mostly cheaters who have mutliple accounts in signature campaigns. I remeber someone even uploaded photo where multiple people sit in office and posting on Bitcointalk like it would be full time job. But with one account in campaign, I doubt that you can enough like it would be full time job, even if you live in poor country.
1885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: October 11, 2022, 10:11:01 PM
Allegri - sacked in the morning? I'm surprised that they haven't done it right after the game. Basically, after loss to Maccabi they're out of Champions league. PSG draw with Benfica is result where both teams shouldn't be very disappointed. PSG tried hard to win this game, but I really like how Benfica looks this season so far.
City draw with Copenhagen - no Haaland, no party. Gomez red card also made influence. Borussia didn't managed to beat Sevilla at home, but they almost eliminated them from fight for 2nd place. Seems that Sevilla is heading where they belongs - to Europa league.
Shakhtar were so close from sensation, but very late Rudiger header saved Real from loss and game ended 1:1. And that goal was really painful for him after collision with goalkeeper, Rudiger left pitch whole bloody. Didn't watched Celtic - Leipzig game, but such Celtic loss at home looks very disappointing. Now their chances to reach Europa league playoffs, don't even talk about Champions league is very complicated.

Russia is terrorist state and now Putin aren't even trying to hide it. He admited that today Russia attacked energy and communication infrastructure in most of cities of Ukraine which left people without electricity and water:
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/putin-moscow-will-respond-forcefully-ukrainian-attacks-2022-10-10/
And like usual, these ''high precision'' missiles hit apartment buildings, pedestrian bridge, parks, children playgrounds and street:
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-63199721 Military objects they say.

From all what is happening in Russia, what are the citizens saying about the current happenings Huh Why cant they put down Mr X and all this will be history, because millions of people have been displaced, thousands injured and hundeds killed, all this all because of selfish desires by a few individuals. The world is bigger than one man or should i say a few individuals! Peace and Love must win this fight.
Most of them are happy about what's happening, in their opinion Putin is doing right thing. They are fighting against nazis, NATO, gays and all other imaginary enemies. To get image about their opinion, it's enough to open some Russian telegram channels and see how russians react to news about killed Ukrainian civilians. Everything is fine for them, as long as they can comment about it on internet or watch propaganda on TV. But now when there is risk to get mobilized, love to mother Russia is gone and now many is running away from Russia to save their asses.

I see lots of comments on how poor Barca was yesterday, but who cares, in few weeks time nobody would remember and points are there to stay Smiley
Celta really should have scored a couple against Barca in second half. But as somebody said it already, Barca was good in parts of the games in Champions League and got nothing for effort as well.

Can't wait for Clasico now, we should get a good one this year.
If we will beat Inter and at least not will lose against Real, yeah, everyone will forget Barca performance against Celta. 3 points is only positive thing from this game. They can use injuries as excuse, but even without many players Barca at simply can't let Celta to dominate whole 2nd half.
@Harkorede, I agree that's not Lewandowski fault only that he was invisible, it's rather consequence how Barca played. Like against Bayern, they made so many crosses from wings like we would have not Lewandowski but Peter Crouch in attack.

Back to predictor, I can't beleive how much I'm struggling in La Liga pool and how good I'm doing in Serie A, what should be opposite. Fortunately Elche - Mallorca game ended 1:1 as I predicted and it let me to go by 3 places on the table.

Seems that Italy and England can't be separated Cheesy. It will be interesting to see their games again. As I understand, draw pots were based not on FIFA rankings, but on Nation League. And it made not very ballanced groups. In some groups there is 2 big teams playing like B or C, and there is some groups without any big teams like G and I.
As I understand, Germany will play friendlies during international windows.
1889  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 09, 2022, 09:55:28 PM
FIA were a huge fiasco today. I really wonder what kind of people are in race control now. This was an important race for Verstappen to announce his second title. I don't know how FIA can't get more prepared for a special race like this. They made really unbelievable mistakes. Some of them were like:

- We saw a tractor coming in before the drivers entered pit lane.
- They finished the race one lap early.
- Gasly got unbelievable penalties like 20-sec time penalty and 2 penalty points for speeding under red flag (But as for FIA's huge mistake about the tractor, there is no problem according to them  Smiley).
- They shouldn't have given full points for this race because it wasn't even a full race.
- They weren't even sure of Verstappen's championship for a while.  Cheesy

I think Leclerc's penalty was fair because he pushed Perez outside while Perez was trying to overtake him. We see 5-sec penalty being given in this kind of situations actually.
Indded, that was FIA fiasco. Truck on track immediately bring memories of Bianchi tragedy. Seemst that they haven't learned anything or forgot it. They don't allow to race them during rain and elay race by few hours because of it, but it's not problem to release truck before safety car on wet track without much visibility.
Though, penalty for Gasly is right IMO, he really had to slow down.
F1 gave explanation why full points were given, but rules should be more clear, because even if they themselves don't fully know it and moment when they didn't knew whether Max is champion or no was hilarious.
And I didn't even noticed that they finished one lap early.

The common sense is to give penalty in the following circumstances:

- is not the 1st cut they do during the race
- the opponent is doing an overtake and you gain an advantage doing the cut.

Both of these requirements were missing.

I don't think I can recall a case of a 5-second penalty for a cut while the opponent is not doing an overtake.
I don't agree. Perez maybe didn't tried to overtake, but he chased Leclerc, what provoced his mistake. My memory don't works so good that now I would bring specific cases, but I think it's regular practice to give penalty in such cases, even if there is no overtake attempt.
Ferrari didn't even went to appeal this penalty.

This is a residential building destroyed by russian missiles in Zaporozhye. So far, 13 people have died and about 100 have been injured.
The blow was purposefully delivered to the objects of the housing stock, houses of the private sector were damaged.
There are no military facilities there.
The cowardly and vile russian army knows how to fight only with civilians.
russia is a country of pus, a country of terrorists.
And those who support russia are accomplices of terrorists, punishment will be inevitable.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/09/10/meFHT.jpeg

That's how terrorist state react to Crimea bridge explosion. Yes, several civilians were killed there, but such things happens every day in Ukraine, and at much bigger scale. We don't even know exaclty what's happening in occupied cities. I'm afraid that with more cities getting deocupied we will see much more terrible things than we saw in Bucha, Izyum and other cities.

Not saying that it is a case here, but previously Amnesty International accused Ukraine of using
schools, kindergartens and hospitals as military objects, so they can accuse Russia if they strike
back...seems like useful PR tool
Yeah, it's useful PR tool for Russia. Now they can justify hitting civilian infrastructures like apartment buildings, hospitals, schools and etc like it was military object, base of Azov nationalists or secret biological weapons lab.

What a terrible performance from Barcelona. 3 points is only positive thing from this game, but we didn't deserved it. It's unbeleavable that Celta failed to score with so many chances. Lewa was invisible like against Inter. Our recent performance in few last games is really concerning before crucial game with Inter and El Clasico next week.

Am I the only one here who belives Sevilla are gonna bounce back and start winning games under the new coach Jorge Sampaoli? oh i'm the only one? really? ok then  ):
Just now i noticed your post. I also believe that they're going to bounce back. I really like Sampaoli as coach.
1892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 09, 2022, 09:41:59 AM
Easy win for Max and now he won his 2nd champion title is hilarious. But the way they announced it is hilarious. First they announce it on post race interview, later they probably didn't figured out whether full or 50% points will be awarded and in rest room it was said that Max isn't champion yet. And finally after awards were given, here comes Button to announce that Max is champion.
I already thought that race won't happen and we will have another Spa. Fortunately, we saw race. But it's almost impossible to overtake in Suzuka in such conditions and without DRS.
And finally GOATifi gets his first 2 points this season. And he deserved it today.
Easy win for Max, I'm guessing Leclerc is under investigation, just imagine if he gives him 5 seconds now...
It would be something unbeleavable if he wouldn't received penalty for cutting corner and gaining advantage.
1893  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: October 08, 2022, 06:52:55 PM
Today morning I haven't checked news and when my father told me that Crimea bridge got destroyed, I thought that he is joking. But damn, that was nice birthday gift and fireworks for Putin.
Now I remember words of drunk clown Dimon Medvedev about judgement day if Ukraine will attack Crimea. Or nothing didn't happened again?
Quote
This attack tells a lot about quality of Crimea bridge. Look at Antonivka bridge in Kherson. Ukraine bombing it with HIMARS for few months. It got damaged significantly, but it's still standing. While after one big explosion, part of Crimea bridge decided to leave Russian Federation and join Black Sea. I'm wondering how much money were stolen when they were building this bridge.

Not bad day for away underdogs. Two big upsets in Group G where Slavia lost to Cluj @9.00 and Sivasspor defeated 3:4 by Ballkani @7.50 in amazing game with late drama. Now all teams in this group have 4 points.
Partizan win is also worth to mention.
@casperBGD, @Joca97, congrats with your Partizan win. Very important step for spot in next round. But damn, this group is very complicated. I even wouldn't write-off Slovacko yet.

It's still big mistery for me why bookmakers favoured Roma against Betis that much. Betis looking very solid so far and they're similar level team like Roma. I more expected draw from this game and had BTTS here.
I already said in qualifiers, but I repeat again, something is wrong with Olympiacos this season. Now they lost 0:3 at home against Qarabag. Now they have 0 points after 3 games and 1:8 goals.
Union took win against Braga 1:2 after scoring 2 lates goals and now they're leading group with 9 points.
1896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Motosport General discussion tread --- Formula1, MotoGP, WTCC, ETCC, DTM..... on: October 06, 2022, 08:32:15 PM
So, return to Suzuka for the first time since 2019, and potentially wet race. I missed this track. IIRC, last time when we had race here, there was typhoon or something and both qualifying and race were held on Sunday after qualifying got postponed. I hope this time such things wont happen.
Only thing I hate about Japanese GP that I will have to get up early on weekend to watch it Cheesy

Riccardo is rumored now to become the 3rd driver of... Mercedes!

He will probably not be an official driver the following season but only a back up driver.

source: https://www.formulapassion.it/motorsport/formula-1/f1-piloti/nuova-indiscrezione-ricciardo-terzo-pilota-mercedes-636068.html
So, even Haas or Williams don't want to sign him or he don't want to go there? 3rd driver maybe is better than nothing, but I doubt that's good step.

Greats new you delivered to us rdbase.

I have to say one thing nobody mention before about gasly in Alpine, as far i know Ocon hates Gasly, so imagine how bad can be that relationship.
Ocon in the track its a really bad person with his partner, he put some risk against Alonso and even with Perez when their were in the same team. SO can you imagine what can he do against a man who hate?
Yeah, I remember that Ocon and Perez had several accidents during season which gave lot of headache for Force India team. Having Ocon as teammate isn't easy and considering not best relationship between him and Gasly is concerning thing. Usually, such things don't end well for the team.

It already becomes tradition, Russian army ''liberates'' Zaitseve village every month. C'mon, Konashnenkov, put some creativity into your work, you're starting to repeat too often.

Russia doesn't cares about their troops and threats them worse than animals - surprises, surprise. And winter is coming. But who needs quality when they have quantity, that's Russian logic

Seems that I had too good opinion about Milan, but they were awful today.
Benfica 1:1 PSG. Expected PSG to win, but Benfica gave good fight and probably result of game isn't surprising. And I think it's not bad result for both if you look at table.
Sevilla continue to amaze me how low they can go and Lopetegui isn't sacked still. Down 0:3 in 1st half and 2nd half becomes meaningless.
In other games everything as expected.

1. Are Pedri and Gavi actually overrated ?
2. Do you think Pedri and Gavi will struggle under a Guardiola system ?
3. Will Foden and Musiala have thrived much better than Pedri and Gavi under the recent/current Barcelona team ?

I'm pretty much just fine with a Yes or No.
Nice to have some more depth discussion where people have completely different views.
1. In recent seasons Barca had quite many overhyped and overrated players, but that's definitely not Pedri or Gavi. But I don't really like when media trying to call someone new Messi, Xavi or Iniesta.
About 2. and 3. I don't have answer. I don't really like conditional questions "what if". For me that's pointless predictions.
@igehhh, c'mon, Pique and Alba were removed from starting 11 after first game of season with Rayo and now aren't getting much time to play. Personally, I don't mind them having such role.
And I don't like judging players blindly looking at stats, especially when we talk about midfielders. Stats like goals and assists isn't main factor. More specific stats matters like correct passes, ball touches, pressures and etc.
