Fnatic vs OG
OG 1.5 odds
This is easy. Since 3 of their members are stand-ins, I think it is safe to bet that OG will win this match up. OG at 1.5 odds is quite low but since it is quite a safe bet, I'll take it.
The odds for this game is crazy for Fnatic, it is because we don't know if 2 Fnatic players + 3 TSM players are going to synchronized very well but they just did on game 1.

The first game has won Fnatic and they've done it looking good and easy against OG.

Later, Fnatic will be against Outsiders but for the meantime, I'm waiting for the game 2 of Fnatic vs. OG.
1882  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: August 04, 2022, 11:09:09 AM
The easiest thing for financial management is to make a budget and income, never spend more than income, I have practiced this when there was a pandemic that made some of my income sources decrease, when unexpected expenses occur, we have to shift the budget post.
Those that are spending more than their incomes and has a high expenditure of lifestyle, they have options and one is what you've said that don't spend more than what they earn.

The other one is to continue their spending habits but they need to make sure that they add another source of income. That's what everyone needs to do if they can't contain to stop their lifestyle.

They need to increase their cash flow and that's through making another way of making money. It's either maintain what you have right now or increase it together with your income.
1883  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 04, 2022, 09:26:03 AM
Many experiences have we heard that this won't end up better.

It seems a sound plan to execute but when he's on the actual thing, he'll surely meet those problems that he didn't anticipated when he was planning to do this.

All things are easy to think of when it's come to borrowing and buying bitcoin but these two are not that really a good combination to be done.
Borrow only when you are in need or emergencies but of course you should really be that mindful and realize or do make out questions for yourself if you could able to pay those borrowed amounts
that you have done on due time? If not then never ever consider this option as this would really create bigger problems in the future. If you are investing with bitcoin then invest on something
which you can afford to lose and as much as possible never ever consider on taking up some loan as this would really be creating huge problem instead on making profits.
Make use of fiat on daily transactions and invest on bitcoin and hold for long  term on extra money that you do have.
Well, there's a likely that if he's in dire situation he'll sell what he got from holding and that's what he's going to use for paying his debts.

This option is for someone who can really confidently pay his debts with other sources that he's got. But if this is the only wealth that he's got, the bitcoins that he's holding.

It's hard to imagine that he'll be forced to sell his bitcoins just to pay those debts someday.
1884  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Advise in using hot wallet and altcoin investment. on: August 03, 2022, 11:26:35 PM
3. Invest less on altcoins or majorly base your investment with bitcoin
This is a good advise although we really can't stop everyone and dictate them to decrease their investments in altcoins and focused more with bitcoin.

They've got reasons in investing on altcoins and investing less in bitcoin because of its price. That's the first reason that I see why they're investing less in bitcoin.

Soon, they'll realize how it is important to invest more in bitcoin and have it a huge part of their portfolios and nothing stops them from investing in alts but advises to lessen it.
1885  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Borrow fiat with your Bitcoin and never sell on: August 03, 2022, 10:35:55 PM
This is viable if you have other source of income that can support to pay your debt whatever is the market's situation. But I won't do this strategy and I know how it feels hard to sell your bitcoin when you're in need.

Yet, borrowing and using your bitcoin as collateral or you're asking for a loan so that you'll save your bitcoin is going to add your responsibility because of the interest that you'll get.

On the otherhand, it's okay to sell and have it saved on a stablecoin and wait until the price drops so you can buy again.

whatever the OP is planning here, as you have suggested, much better if the OP has other means so in case of need, he can use it and not touch his satoshis. hard to get a loan and if you are just relying on this as source of funds, more then likely you will be on tight budget and sell it at a loss. this is why it is not a smart move if you are just having your satoshis and no other source of funds to take care of your other expenses.

One more day before PGL Arlington Major starts. I feel bad for Fnatic. They are yet to officially announce their needed 3-player stand-ins.

Another thing. I was surprised to see a new name representing North America. Did Quincy Crew disband or did they just rename it into Soniqs since all players are the same? I already forgot Valve's ruling on players leaving for another team. There are a lot of stand-ins in this last major and I can't wait to see how it works.
That usually happens when a major tournament or the TI comes in. If a qualified team doesn't have an organization that they are playing for, it means that they're free to be sponsored and play to bring the badge of that organization.

IIRC, Newbee, a chinese organization was played by American players on TI because they've got no org and Newbee signed them. And those American players were Quinn(CCNC), Yawar, Sneyking, mss and pieliedie. This was on 2019 TI.

As per checking, the jackpot hasn't been claimed yet and you have increased it to €1.2M. So, it will keep on increasing until no one wins it.

Is there a maximum on how much your jackpot will be until its hit by someone? And is there a chance that if no one has won it, you're going to stop with it and will remove the pot?

Hello, there! This amazing Jackpot from the Relax Gaming provider is constantly growing. It takes place in several rounds and in the next round the Jackpot amount only gets bigger. Thus, when the Jackpot is won, the amount does not fall, but, on the contrary, increases. This Jackpot will be won 100%. Moreover, this Jackpot is not represented in all casinos, and FoggyStar is one of the first casinos with this Jackpot. That is why our players have a very high chance of hitting this Jackpot! Try it yourself - maybe you will become the Lucky Winner?
Wow.

I thought that the jackpot will just be won once and it will be gone because it's just part of your promo or marketing. But if it happens that someone wins it, those who are hoping to win it, they'll have another chance to reach it.

Well, wishing all of those participants good luck and those that are exactly aiming to win that jackpot of yours.

Yes, that little chance could come out from anyone of us in here.

Nobody knows if that's the luckiest day ever for any of us here who would try. Although I've also seen some casinos have that promo of theirs that has big prizes.

Maybe you're one of the first one to claim that type of amount as you're on your own thread, so good luck to everyone and to your casino too.

We thank you for your kind words and also wish you good luck if you decide to try! No one knows what life will give us tomorrow, and we can only guess whether we will be lucky this time or not. In any case, winning often requires risk. Meanwhile, the Jackpot amount has already reached an incredible €1,150,455!

1891  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is crypto going up after the news of being in a recession? on: August 01, 2022, 09:27:38 AM
I understand all of those questions popped on your mind but this is the normal market for crypto that we have. Whether we have recession or none, we'll always get to see the crypto market pumping and dumping.

With good or bad news, the market will always react at both sides, positive and negative, decrease and increase. You should get used to it when you see it go from side to side.

There's really nothing to think about it that much when you see it fall and rise.
Crypto works in two cycles so once one of the side is done then it's now turn for the other side to shine and it will happen no matter what. It's true that news do have an impact on the price though not too often and not all times the effect are strong but sometimes the effect can also be small. Maybe this is what's happening lately. It's also possible that the effects are just delayed like last time where there a news about whales buying cryptos.

I wonder why the crypto price didn't move upwards but the effect starts kicking in later on. A lot of people wonder what is the cause of it but I didn't. I tell them that it was because of the news that we have last time.
Sometimes good and bad news do impact the market too late or almost no effect at all. That's why you have to balance your judgment in the market if you see it going according to your analysis whether it's with technical analysis or fundamental analysis.

These cycles are happening no matter what we do. This time, we don't know how long the market will be quite at the bottom. Although honestly, this bottom doesn't seem to be a very low marking if you've been here for a long time.
1892  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoin is King on: August 01, 2022, 07:22:37 AM
In the altcoins, there will really be a lot of changes and I always get to see those conversations that something might happen to replace bitcoin at the top. I cannot fathom what they're thinking if bitcoin has already proved its worth for so many years.

They're comparing it to old tech companies like Nokia, Blackberry, etc. But they cannot realize that bitcoin is no the same from those companies that has to keep with their products up-to-date setting whilst for bitcoin.

It is the market that makes it up-to-date. I'm sure that many from the top 10 will be replaced by the next bull run but one thing will remain, bitcoin as #1.

What are the esports that are discussed this time?. Are there any discussiond about Dota 2 or other egames that are popular by many people. I was planning to go to a sportsbook that I can bet on popular esports.
You can just look with our discussions and you'll see Dota 2 and csgo topics on this thread.

I can't guess what esports are discussed based on the latest reply since I am not familiar with the said player.
You don't have to guess, you can easily figure out what esports player has been mentioned by just looking it out on google. There are wikipedias for esports where you can find  them easily.

Like: liquipedia.

It contains almost all esports wikipedias that has information for players, teams, tournaments and other information.

The crypto market definitely behaving in  mysterious ways lately. It seems like we turn from bullish to bearish and vice versa  on the daily.

I find it a bit odd that the market is pumping on the news of a recession.

Is Bitcoin and crypto proving it really is a hedge against the devaluing of the dollar, or is the fact it was only a 75bp hike until September that maybe caused the case for optimism?

Do you guys Believe in this pump or is it just temporary until another leg down?
I personally am not sure so I'm just slowly  DCAing  in to my favourite projects.

1895  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ATH for ETH on: July 31, 2022, 08:57:20 AM
One analysis I've read, it says maybe we'll get something like a pump for the short term. He said that for short term he's bullish but these effects would still have to go into balancing eventually.

But with such news and everything that seems to be positive for ETH, I'm bullish on it and whether it'll be back to its former ATH. Then, that's good to hear and see but I'm optimistic with the upcoming merge and its effect to the entire eth network.

Most of the times when coins release something big or do a merge, you always see big pump in the days before the event also. After a while, the effect fades away and the price drops to a lower level, but still higher than before.
Yes.

It's always the news that buys out and that's common in the market because that's when the pump really starts. And when it's done, we'll see the drop starts to come eventually.

I doubt that we will see a new ATH for ETH with the merge as the price needs to more than double for that.
Well, it still follows bitcoins move. So the likely of seeing the price of ETH goes on another ATH really depends on the market's behaviour and as well as bitcoins.

Maybe not now but when we're back in bulls again, we will.

US is too strict on their visa issuance even if there's a valid reason or if Valve would like to still stay with the US hosting their majors. They should help and back up the qualifying teams and players and help them approve their visas.
Kinda understandable if we are few years back because back then everyone pretty much wants to move into US so they are pretty strict but honestly right now, why would someone wants to move in there and be poor. No offence to my fellow Americans mate, its just some harmless jokes  Tongue
Well, there's some reality that you've said about that. The agency issuing visa should understand that these people aren't just computer gamers or geeks, they're professional esport athletes and sadly, too many of them weren't granted. Just like raven who's been in TI many times and also has been in the US to compete tournaments.

Just some news about ana, he's going to play for RNG as stand-in carry for this major.

This young lads seems to be serious on getting back as a pro huh, he kept on standing in for different teams
We don't know. It's because that he's flexible and can play with any team that would ask him. Maybe, he's also just preparing for the bigger stage so he's setting himself for these teams that are asking him to play as stand-in.
1897  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not your key not your coin, your bitcoins on exchanges are not insured on: July 30, 2022, 10:41:38 AM
We always remind everyone specially the newbies about not keeping their coins on exchanges. It's essential to use them basically as an exchange but if they're thinking about keeping their cryptos there as a vault, that's what makes it a wrong thinking.

They have trust on that exchange so they do trust them with their deposits and won't move any inch for their assets there. And the very reason is that "it is a trusted exchange".

2. You will never know if the price is already peak or bottom but if your goal is to buy. Make sure that you're buying decisively and if it's low, it's a good buy if you consider it that low.

3. Too many stories about taking a loan and used it for buying crypto. Sadly, they have bought at the top and the value of their purchase went down plus, they have to pay the interest.
1900  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which token should I use for my investment ? on: July 29, 2022, 01:16:57 PM
Be careful of unusual tokens that will be shilled to you. Because if someone asks you for tokens to invest with, you can be shilled with random shitcoins that you will take unknowingly.

Whether you are for short term or not, bitcoin is the best choice and you can also make profit from it.

For top altcoins, ETH is the ideal choice for most.
