1881  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Central European Bank mentions the rapid growth of the cryptocurrency market on: May 31, 2019, 11:03:00 AM

Wow! I realized that indeed that are many positive developments happening in the field no wonder why many called this year as the year of adoption and utilization of different cryptocurrency related platforms and infrastructures. I am sure that all of these things are building up the necessary energy for the year 2020 when halving will once happen (in itself can trigger upward movement for bitcoin). People then should not wonder why bitcoin is showing its potential at this early part of the year...this can just be the tip of the iceberg of what can transpire in 2020.

1883  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What is the best way to build your project community in 2019 ? on: May 31, 2019, 10:21:54 AM
Having a solid community is crucial to any project's success short-term/Long-term and we are not exempted. Let Us know your thoughts guys.

Building and engaging with a solid and diversified community supporting a specific project is one of the many goals of project managers. With that community as the springboard, marketing and adoption can easily spread. There are many tools that one can use for this purpose. We have the social media where connections can be established -- sites like Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, Medium and the likes. The project can also set-up its own project-focused forum and incentives can be shared to promote membership and activities. It involves a lot of creatives and hours of hard work here but definitely the fruits can all be worth it.
1884  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Exchanges for newbies. Does it exist? on: May 31, 2019, 10:09:42 AM
Hello, I'm a newbie for all this crypto stuff, but I have some extra money and I'd like to tr trading. Could u please recommend me some exchanges for newbies? And I'd also appreciate your advice. Thank u

All cryptocurrency exchanges are actually accepting new bloods into their platform. Maybe you are looking for an exchange that is more user-friendly and easy to navigate compared with others in the same marketplace. For starters, you can go with Binance, Kucoin, Bittrex, and other popular choices but you must avoid HitBTC and Yobit as they can be problematic at times. Always be careful when you are still new in this industry and be careful not be a victim of phishing (always check the URL of the site you are visiting so it is not a fake one).

Hey,

My financial situation is shit. If I have the possibility to choose, I move right away. Own house is what I have on mind. That`s why Unemployed, it is a shit situation. Least I'm not homeless, thank you Finland I will never forget.

Count your blessings and you will soon realized that there are far more people who are less fortunate than what you have. Start molding a gratuitous heart and you will change your life a bit at a time. Life is never meant to be easy because easy is boring...life can be more colorful when we are tried and tested. Whatever that does not kill can make you stronger and wiser. Good luck!
1888  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: DUK+ airdrop with instant money withdrawal on: May 31, 2019, 07:21:55 AM

I just looked at the site and it seems to be a legit bank but I am amazed that it is doing an airdrop maybe to promote its presence online and for users to download the wallets into their smartphones (one of the most effective way to establish a targeted and captured market). May I know if this airdrop is open to anybody regardless of country of residence?
1889  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance to open Singapore fiat-to-crypto exchange in April on: May 31, 2019, 07:00:44 AM
Binance always have foresight thats why they are the best by far. They know how to get things done . Targeting the Asian market is a good one for crypto.  The Asians are highly populated so getting them to know, use and adopt crypto will be of great benefit for the crypto space

I am considering Binance to be one of the most appreciated and best-managed cryptocurrency exchanges around even if it experienced its biggest test (hacking) recently. Binance know where the market is and they know how to make strategic locations in building up its business. Right here in Asia, the market is getting to be huge and Binance is making sure that they are there for the big bloom of this industry which can happen sooner than we expected. No wonder BNB keeps on flying high as reflective of the potential of Binance both as a business and as a platform.
1890  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rumors confirmed: Binance margin trading coming soon on: May 31, 2019, 06:28:38 AM
I'm curious if this will also bring lending to Binance. They don't have lending yet, isn't it? With that they'll cover basically all the features of the other exchanges.
Possible, they would tend to cover up all exchange features in one stop. They would forseen this thing and might add it up soon. They are now
stepping with margin trading add up which is good and I guess for those bitmex users will might consider on using this platform or would
divide eventually the numbers.

Yes, this is a strong possibility. I think I read a news regarding a partnership that Binance just inked with a lending platform maybe that can be the one to get involved with its planned margin trading option. Binance really knows what to add and what not to add with its platform...this addition will surely put more fire on its rich belly. I am sure that many traders veterans and otherwise are rejoining with this news. Go Binance...go!
1891  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ NEED YOUR OPINION ] Fast delivery (clothes and etc.) on: May 31, 2019, 06:16:49 AM

The idea is good but that was a big service and needs a serious and decent approach. A well-structured plan is necessary. Lots of factors should be considered. Already have a list about those? I suggest making a test run in locals first and see if it will be effective in the long run. In that way, problems, errors and any other things that might be seen in the process will be noted.

The main business idea is really good and I am sure there is a big market waiting for this service. Now, there is really a need to put up the necessary infrastructure though in initial testing things can be some small-time first and just scale things when the business is already seen running on the ground. With a good management skills, adequate marketing abilities and some luck at hand (and of course, necessary capital),  this idea can launch a thousand ships.

1892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Halving 2020 | Bitcoin Halving Explained on: May 31, 2019, 06:04:50 AM

2020 is most likely to see a similar change for the Bitcoin price, where the miner fee is going to be halved from 12.5 to 6.25. It is going to take place on May 27th, 2020. The crypto enthusiasts have participated on twitter saying they believe that the Bitcoin price will be skyrocketing during the BTC halving stage. To be precise, 61% of 2500 accounts believe that the price will soar from now until the halving, while 25% believe that the price increases will come after the halving.

Months away from the halving event, there is a continuous buzz on this as to what can happen to the price of bitcoin before, during and after. The main consensus is that this can trigger an upward movement for the price similar to burning tokens to minimizing the supply. Will halving be the catalyst that can push bitcoin way beyond the $20,000 zone...many are hoping this can happen and I am one of the many expecting the same. Whether we can be disappointed or not...that remains to be seen.
1893  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: How important is the right .com Crypto domain name to you for your project? on: May 31, 2019, 05:51:09 AM
I believe.com domains are very important and I strongly disagree with davis196
.com domain will give you better SEO (search engine optimization), and your page will be better ranked in Google searches.

Also, it looks like a more serious project, as you clearly invested a lot more.

The problem is that it is more of expensive. Maybe you can't get the best name, but a similar.com one.

You can buy .io etc alternatives and just redirect them to your .com one

As for me, you can go either .com or .io though we know that many of the sites in the cryptocurrency market are preferring the .io domain name. It seems the .io has become very much identified with this industry but of course in terms of SEO maybe .com can be a big advantage. So the idea of having both TLD should be taken wisely. Good luck on your business.
1894  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin about to go really high on: May 31, 2019, 05:31:01 AM
If you were wondering what stage we are in atm

1-2 month btc price 30-50k, mark this post so you can get a free psychic reading later.
or as I like to think of it 2500-4000 hours per coin at min wage

Will surely take your words for it. Right now, bitcoin is facing the best time to go up, up into the sky. There is a slight correction happening as I write this response but I know this is just a temporary thing. Days from now, bitcoin will show us what it got under its sleeves. The big bull run is real and it is happening sooner than we are expecting.
1895  Economy / Speculation / Re: Billionaire wants to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply on: May 31, 2019, 05:15:13 AM
I know these dudes are definitely rich, that saying "rich" even undermines how much wealth they actually have, but I don't think they can even buy 25% of the total supply. Even if they buy it all through OTC through multiple entities, it's going to pump up the price too high I think. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you are right. These people have the money and the connections that they can use to buy bitcoin presumably as an investment to hold for some time and make big profits -- just like the many small speculators swimming in the bitcoin pool. They can wish to buy 25% of the bitcoin supply but how they gonna do that remains to be seen. But what if they can...how will it affect bitcoin and its growth trajectory?
1896  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: {HIRE} we are hiring bounty manager to manage our IEO bouty on: May 31, 2019, 05:04:39 AM
Hello,

I can be the bounty manager of your campaign, I've done this one before -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4904687.0
I prefer to get the weekly reward in BTC or some alt from the top 10 listed on coinmarketcap We can discuss it here, on topic or if you prefer telegram, ping me @big_d4ddy

Best regards

I am highly recommending big_daddy for the bounty manager position. Based on what I know, he is a very capable guy for the job and he can exert effort and time beyond what can be required helping to contribute for the success for the project. So go for him if no decision has been made yet.
1897  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: IEO Launchpad BOUNTY on: May 31, 2019, 04:52:48 AM
One of the upcoming IEO Harmony is now leading its bounty company, in the bounty you can still take part, the company signature is all already busy, IEO will be held at Binance

Harmony is a great example of a project doing an IEO in Binance Launchpad no less but still decided to also do a bounty campaign here in the forum. I think that soon there will be more IEOs projects offering the bounty opportunity as well. Let's all cross our fingers that projects under the IEOs format will not be suffering the same fate as that of the ICOs in 2017 and 2018. Investors all deserve something better and hopefully IEOs can serve them well.
1898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: May 31, 2019, 04:36:19 AM
I am currently participating in an IEO, which was long before an ICO, but currently have had many stages, both KYC,
as some new rules even to enter the Exchanges, but it is necessary to emphasize that now investors have much more
confidence in the projects, the IEO have more confidence supplied.
IEO makes investors feel more secure and that is why new investors are often interested in investing in these projects. I think this trend is being mentioned by many people in recent times and it has a special interest from all investors. In my opinion, if the IEO can serve investors better then ICO will surely be forgotten by the end of this year and everyone will only know about IEO.
More so the involvement of reputable exchanges such as binance  in the IEO projects reinforces the confidence of the investors, we are all aware of the outcome of many ICOs which are most often failed projects despite accepting huge funds from investors a lot of them turned scams which had dented and painted the image of cryptos in a bad light. I believed the entrance IEOs into the market will return sanity into the system with some trust and makes ICOs not relevant or as a secured alternative investment.

I am looking at IEO as a great one step forward in the cryptocurrency-supported crowdfunding platform. We are definitely done with the usual ICO as it did became the platform for many scammers to exploit which crushed many investors' hopes and dreams into nothing. Now, IEO is the trend and what is good here is that we are involving the exchange directly. Having said that, this is not a guarantee of success and good ROI as scam can still happen if the exchange is not doing its vetting job properly. The exchange has to be reputable otherwise the project using IEO can just fade out into the sunset.  In case, I gonna go for an IEO then Binance Launchpad is the top choice though it is quite difficult to get into it (they implemented a lottery system to accommodate token buyers).

1899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Discourse In Twitter on: May 31, 2019, 04:25:47 AM
This just highlights the problem with a deflationary currency and why fiat is inflationary by nature. If a person has incentive to not spend, he will not spend. It's also why crypto can't be used as the sole world currency -- the global economy will stagnate, with people not wanting to spend their money. That being said, there's no right thing to do in this case. Spending is better for the ecosystem, but since crypto enables people to do whatever the fuck they want with their money, they should be doing exactly that. You don't have to go to either extreme either. A healthy middle of spending some and saving some is always an option.

Seems to me that there is a tug of war with two concerns. On one hand, we are encouraging people to really use their bitcoin as money by buying things and services they want to own or experience but on the other hand, since bitcoin is expected to make a big bull run we can't blame people if they gonna 'hodl' whatever amount of bitcoin they may have. In other words, are we gonna be spenders or speculators. As for me, I would choose to be a speculator and be spender next. Well, balancing the two is quite a challenge for the whole industry, really.
1900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Satoshi filed claim for Bitcoin Whitepaper on: May 31, 2019, 04:12:45 AM
But absolutely anyone can file a claim right? That's established. It means nothing. And wow, we need to get rid of this kind of actors (CSW primarily) from this space, looks like a playground from the outside world. Good luck adoption.

Yes, you just have to pay some amount of dollar and you can file the copyright claim. Now, the CSW claim is getting interesting now that there is someone claiming the same thing. Let's see what will be the next move of sir Craig Wright on this matter. Will this angered him so he can exposed his own vulnerabilities? Or will he realized that he is just being played on by someone named Wei Liu?
