1901  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: April 02, 2022, 06:46:47 PM
Max Keiser, now there's a name I haven't seen promoted in a year or two... have to say am actually surprised, bordering on shocked, that he's only gone for 100k in 2025? After the halving?

That's short of 50% on top of 2021's ATH. So he's already set that the supercycle's over and we're in a long possibly cross-halving slow burn? Can't be bothered to dig.

Halvings are producing diminishing returns over time, but going below 50% this early? I also think we'll go higher if the cycle theory holds. The problem is that bull/bear cycle theory doesn't seem to work anymore. There are people like Willy Woo who openly state that we are in one big bull cycle and eventually there will be no more 1000% pumps and 80% dumps. We will only have 100% and then maybe 30% corrections.

My prediction is 200k USD by 2025 and next time a correction comes it's not going to be bigger than 30%. I think we're past those long dragging bear markets.
1902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 02, 2022, 10:56:47 AM
I'm not planning to sell anytime soon. For me bitcoin is a backup plan, not the way to get rich. I want to leave some coins to my children, make sure that if anything bad happens my family will have some money that they don't have to go to court to get. Bitcoin is my retirement fund, my health insurance, education money for my children, life insurance for my wife, backup plan in case of war or a natural disaster.

That said, I usually sell a bit whenever there's a big bull market. Last year I sold about 5% of my coins to have money for a second car and some construction around the house. If we get to another milestone like a new ATH, I'll probably sell another 5%. If we reach 100k, another 5% just to celebrate and have some fun, maybe travel for a few months. I have no plans to spend more than 20% of my current holdings no matter what the price will be. If we go to a million USD next year, I'll still have at least 80% of what I have now in BTC.

Actually, I'm tempted to sell for buying a new house. It's not as fancy as you think but I can say that it will be satisfying to call it our home.

I'm in the midst of it but probably going no for the meantime and will wait for further moving up of bitcoin, maybe a year or two more before I start selling huge amounts in my portfolio.

To some, 0.1 to 1 BTC couldn't be that much but that would be a piece of land already in some countries. But if it ever happens that bitcoin reaches back to $70k to $100k, I guess many will start picking their profits.

1 BTC is actually a lot of money. I's enough to buy a good car, a piece of land large enough for a house in the suburbs, a large piece of land fit for farming far away from the city, I'm talking about average prices in Europe. In Africa or South America 1 BTC can buy you a nice house. If I were you with 1 BTC, I wouldn't sell it all to uy something now. You're going to regret not having anything left just in case. 10 years from now it could be worth 300k USD and all you'll have is a piece of land that you bought for 50k.
1903  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Precious slap on: April 01, 2022, 05:48:23 PM
Chris Rock [...] tickets, which was about forty dollars before the incident, rose to three digits after the Will Smith slap incident.

Which only leaves one question here: How much does Will Smith charge for a slap?

If the slappee receives a huge boost to ticket sales, it seems reasonable that Smith takes the major share of the money. So if the money is split say 60/40, the slappee should get the lower 40% and Smith should take the uppercut.

Smith should be happy that he wasn't sued over this. Also, he got a statue on that day, so he didn't go home empty handed. That statue also is bald, just like Jada, so it's a win - win situation for both of them. She didn't get anything, but at least her husband made an idiot of himself and got well rewarded despite that. If people weren't laughing at the Smiths before, they will now. There's a lot of memes already and, as we all know, nothing is forgotten in the Internet.

1904  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: April 01, 2022, 05:32:26 PM

It doesn't look like Ukrainians want to be "friendly" (aka Belarus) with Russia so yeah let's bomb them to rubble.

So once again, why USA invaded Grenada and Panama? They don't even share border, and
are pretty miniscule compared to, lets say, Ukraine
A good example of:

I am based on data from the Russian Ministry of Defense. There are a lot of fakes on the Ukrainian side (including about 100 captured tanks), Russian data looks reliable. Putin has declared the west to be the "Empire of Lies", so Russians have to tell the truth in order to look like a knight in shining armor. Grin
Can't say if you're trolling for fun or for profit.
Russian data reliable? I haven't seen so many lies being told in 1 month ever. Even North Korea and China aren't bullshitting as much as Russia is.
Just this one event when Ukraine was posting Russian losses and Russia wasn't posting anything or claiming there are no losses should make you think. About 2 weeks ago Russian news agency gave an estimate of Russian losses and it was taken down within hours, but not before people made pictures, so it's all to be found in the Internet.

Just some of the Russian lies summed up for you. I don't expect to change your mind about "reliable Russian data" but I'll at least try to expose how wrong you are.

We are not going to attack Ukraine.
We are conducting military drills and will leave the border when they're finished.
We are not attacking Ukraine but moving in to protect our people in newly formed republics.
We are not attacking civilian targets.
We are not attacking Ukraine, only nazis.
All attacks are made by precision weapons aimed at military targets.
There are no losses on our side, all claims from the Ukrainian side are false.
There are some wounded on our side, but nothing serious and all Ukrainian claims are false. We will not give any numbers.
We were shooting at the nuclear power plant because we wanted to secure it so that Ukrainians could not do a provocation by blowing it up.
We destroyed a maternity hospital because Nazis were hiding there.
We are not using conscripts, all soldiers fighting in Ukraine are contract military.
We are not going to force people into service and will only send trained soldiers into Ukraine.

Mariupol  liberated from the Azov Nazis.
https://youtu.be/C-irWniGBEU

More from the liberators. They got drunk, took a woman's car keys and crashed the car right outside her house, shot her dog, then they shot her husband, raped her, went to get drunk, came back, raped her again, went to get drunk again, came back, raped her again and fell asleep. Such liberation, so much nazis, wow!
Makes me wonder why she did not slit throats of those two liberators. I guess she's not much of a nazi after all. Even seeing her husband murdered in front of her couldn't make her do anything violent.

1908  Economy / Economics / Re: ExxonMobil in the US is piloting a bitcoin mining project in North Dakota on: March 31, 2022, 04:19:51 PM
Great to see that they are going to allocate some resources to mining. If their project succeeds and shows some good numbers, I'm pretty sure other companies will follow their path and do the same. It's like with El Salvador, that became a pioneer in bitcoin acceptance and we are getting reports of other countries planning to do the same, especially poor countries that need some advertising, some tourism that will boost their economy.

The important part is that there's not enough bitcoin for all of them. Sooner or later so many companies and countries turn to bitcoin that we'll face a big shortage of supply and everything will explode: price, hash rate, number of addresses... I hope you're all ready.

1912  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Breakout on: March 28, 2022, 05:48:11 PM
I'm not one of bullish maximalists, who are expecting 100K,250K or a million dollar Bitcoin price. We should be happy with a 50K price.Greed is always a bad advisor, just like fear.

LOL. I expect those prices, what happens is that I do not expect $1M in 6 months, but we will gradually reach those prices, I am sure of it, and it is not a matter of greed or fear. It is a matter of fundamental analysis. Today there is nothing better than Bitcoin to store and transfer wealth, especially in large quantities. And bitcoin is even more useful in the environment we find ourselves in, with rising inflation, tax hikes and governments with a tax collection drive that borders on confiscatory.

Regarding the OP, I hope to see more of his predictions around here to see if he gets it right more times, showing that it is true that he is a good chartist.

I've seen this happen many times where we reach a breakout, but the community is in such disbelief that they actually sell into this breakout, ignoring the fact that it's in fact a reversal, the beginning of a new trend. They keep selling, price keeps crawling up and after a while they all realize it's indeed a bull run, at which point they all start buying again with the fiat money they have lying around on their accounts from selling early and this is the point where we start going up like crazy.
The moment when the smart money is in and the street that was selling all throughout the correction and into the early reversal switches stance and injects additional fiat into the market when there's already a shortage of supply.

I'm waiting for a supply squeeze of the decade and believe me, if we go to 60k it's going to come, because last time we were between 60 and 70 there was much more coins on the market for people to buy. Now it's going to be less, but with similar or even bigger demand.
1913  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nuclear war? on: March 27, 2022, 08:35:10 PM

Macron has already criticized Biden for verbally attacking Putin. I don't get the French. On one hand they conduct nuclear tests, put nuclear submarines on alert, on the other they are afraid of Calling Putin a murderer that he is.

No one can actually predict what this invasion could lead to , but a possible Nuclear war could happen if Russia crosses red line set by US and it's NATO allies because Russia would only have one option left for them to fight back by using Nuclear weapon, as already stated by Putin that he has put all their Nuclear weapons on high alert should any country intervene.

They could do it "unintentionally" like when they shot down that Malaysian jet or when they shot at various privately owned ships in the Black Sea. Those idiots are known to shoot at anything that moves and they used to do it for decades literally.

During their war with Japan in 1905 Russia ordered their Baltic Fleet to go around Europe to Japan, but before they even managed to leave the Baltic Sea that operation shot at British fishing boats and their own ship which resulted in Royal Navy chasing the Russians and stopping the whole fleet from going through the Suez canal. Russians had to sail around Africa just to later be wiped out by the Japanese.

I wouldn't be surprised if one of their missiles hit one of the NATO countries. Their soviet-made drone has already crashed in Croatia a few weeks ago.
1914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender bias in gambling. on: March 27, 2022, 08:13:51 PM
-A man who is known to be a gambler may still be considered for marriage by a woman, but if a woman is known to be compulsive gambler before marriage, most men will run from them or not even get close enough to consider them for marriage.
Why the bias? should gambling be only for Men?

Unfortunately this is normal all around the world. People see women as stable protectors of home and bearer of children, which is why people often criticize women for things men do on daily basis. As an example I'll give you a man who often changes women and every week goes out with someone else is seen as someone popular, who knows how to pick up girls, a hustler. A woman doing the same thing will be called a slut. People will speculate that she's probably getting paid for it and so on. That's why a woman gambler will always be criticized more than a man.

How old are you?! You sound like a kid who doesn't have a clue about what he is doing! And this is not fun at all!

I have a feeling that OP is very young! So before everything else, he should learn about bankroll management!

Guys, OP is not a child, he's just an idiot. Here's some proof.

Whao!!! See fresh bodies lying down lifeless because of war. This is waste of human resources. Zelensky would have prevented this waste of life. In politics, rascality is good but hiding, running and soft talk are part of the game.

No comment really, this speaks for itself...

Also, according to his posts he played on Freebitcoin.in before he made this thread about gambling sites.
I will stop at that because I don't want to hurt his feelings too much  Wink

Before you condemned a thread, you have to understand the "word register", so that it will not affect the OP feelings.
1916  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 for Bitcoin - 2030 on: March 27, 2022, 08:59:39 AM
Is $500 a large sum of money for you OP? I'm asking because it's not really an investment material at today's prices. Say Bitcoin goes to 100k, which would be a huge milestone and you're not even going to have 1,5k USD. 1.5k is what most people in Europe and the US earn in their boring jobs every month, it's bread and butter for them, but you will have to wait for a big event, something that bitcoin couldn't do for the last 12 years. For me watching the price in hope that my investment can make me get a minimum wage profit over the course of a few years would not be worth it.
1917  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is going to be bad for the Indian Bitcoin community on: March 26, 2022, 07:02:02 PM
1% of every transaction will kill trading. Somebody should tell them that many investors end up losing money on their trades or making multiple small trades every day back and forth. Also, some transactions are made purely to send a cryptocurrency with a low fee or to hide the transactions in a privacy chain. Also, I hope the government realizes the amount of paperwork they could be facing from a day trader who made 1000 transactions in a month and has to log each of them and calculate owed tax. Not only would that tax bankrupt him but it would also bury the tax office in paperwork if they required him to prove all these transactions. Also, it's not like crypto trading is more profitable than stocks and currencies. Why should it be treated differently? A traditional trader will pay 15% and a crypto trader 30%? Establishing stupid laws is only going to make people avoid them and trade using vpns and foreign currencies or cash.

Fortunately "discussions on how to regulate digital assets are ongoing. " So it is not yet set in stone. They should get a few experts to tell them that taxation is fine as long as it doesn't aim to kill the industry. 15-20% annual taxes are normal around the world, 1% of every transaction is not.
1918  Economy / Gambling / Re: Using multiple betting accounts (Bet365 etc.) on: March 26, 2022, 06:43:09 PM
Many people try to use of many accounts in the website.By using the ip change they can do this one,the way to use this one was an VPN.They will buy the high cost vpn for this purpose. When the costly vpn used,it easily relocate the account holder place. In that way also you need to use of other person kyc,you need to get that from your people. So it also not a easy to create the account.

Of course they do as many sites don't do KYC. I feel like OP wants to use a specific site with KYC and wants to find a way to make more accounts and do KYC. I have no idea why somebody would want that other than maybe referring himself or playing with himself in order to level up the account and get some bonuses. I've played once in a casino that would give you a bonus provided that you do x numbers of bets with it, but that was only one per person, so making multiple accounts would actually be a way to make money.

I don't think that anybody here will help you cheat, OP.
1919  Other / Politics & Society / Nuclear war? on: March 26, 2022, 04:26:54 PM
Let's list some facts first.

Russia is facing serious problems in Ukraine and these are only going to get worse since there are already food shortages both on the battle front and in Russia. For instance they're running out of sugar in the motherland and soldiers sent to Ukraine barely had enough military rations to last a few weeks and we're now much longer into the conflict. Hungry Russian soldiers are trying to get food from the locals with poor results like those poor bastards who, according to the reports, died after eating food poisoned by the Ukrainians. Soon forests are going to offer much better cover for Ukrainian artillery groups and snipers and it's going to become much harder for Russians to coordinate air strikes.

Russian nuclear forces were put on high alert almost a month ago.
In response France put one additional submarine armed with nuclear missiles on a patrol mission. It now has 2 ships ready to respond. France also conducted a test of its new nuclear missile ASMPA-R
USA brought Patriot defense systems to Europe and placed them around the border with Ukraine, in Romania, Slovakia and Poland. These systems are meant to shoot down incoming missiles.
Poland proposed an international peace mission to be sent to Ukraine, to which proposal the president of Belarus responded that such a mission would start another world war and a Russian propagandist said on national TV that Russia would destroy Warsaw in 30 seconds with a nuclear strike, to which threats Polish president responded "don't try to scare me or you will shit yourself"
Yesterday news came out that Russia made a list of countries it wants to "denazify" and those are Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Moldova and Kazakhstan.

On March 25, a statement was made by Moscow City Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergei Savostyanov, who is convinced that “the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine will ensure sustainable security for the peoples of Ukraine, Russia and all of Europe.”
“For a more complete process of ensuring the security of the Russian Federation, in addition to Ukraine, I consider it expedient to include the Baltic states in the denazification and demilitarization zone [Литва, Латвия, Эстония]Poland, Moldova and Kazakhstan

https://www.world-today-news.com/denazification-russia-targets-six-more-countries/

Some of these countries are members of the NATO and the EU and are armed at least as good as Ukraine was before the invasion. There's also a large number of US soldiers stationed there, so a conventional assault would only mean more losses for Russia.
If they really decide to follow through with the plan the only option left for them is a nuclear attack, but that would be suicidal for Russia.

This looks like a new Cold War is brewing. I'd expect Russians to dispose of Putin before he decides to kill them all, but there's a lot of Russians who support the invasion of Europe. Half of the nation is apparently retarded and brainwashed into thinking they could win a war with NATO.
1920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and usdt people trust on: March 26, 2022, 03:32:04 PM
The presence of stable coins makes anyone more calm, when feeling profit, then immediately move to a stable coin, or vice versa when the market is very fluctuating and in the negative direction then immediately divert it to a stable coin into the best solution, this makes the use of stable coins the biggest and Daily transaction volume can reach 2x from Bitcoin.

I see no point in doing it, unless you live in a country where every single trade on exchange has to be reported and taxed. First of all I don't hold coins on exchanges so I never exit to a stable coin or fiat juzt to "feel safe". I feel pretty safe holding bitcoin. That said, if I had to exit, I'd always choose fiat money not a stable coin that relies on a third party (coin's creator and issuer) and can be delisted from an exchange or lose value. A fiat currency is always better than a half measure like USDt
