1901  Economy / Gambling / Re: How succesful will AI projects be to win the house? on: March 22, 2023, 08:07:47 PM
Don't forget this is a computer designed by humans and can be manipulated or defeated by same knowledge of humans that are in charge of these casinos. There's no assurance depending on AI for better and bigger win as the chances are still slim and predominantly based on luck just like with human ability only been used.
We have to trust ourselves that humans, us, can still defeat these AIs and their knowledge is still limited. While us, we've got more time to know more and study a lot and upgrade. But to weigh things, the upgrades that these AIs are getting is also like limitless but thanks to the developers of it. Like the newest version of chat gpt-4, it's said that it can have more reliable answers and better way of understanding and could it be that gambling is also part of it. But again, we have to remember that these AIs are also basing their knowledge and answers on what's visible on the web and they cannot foresee the future like predicting a gambling result like in sportsbetting which is unlikely.
1902  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can end poverty? In a nation today on: March 22, 2023, 04:21:21 PM
Everything that is done to overcome poverty will certainly fail, we must realize that the life of this world will always present poor people, if you are rich then you should be grateful because all the things you need are provided by the poor, if there are no poor people then your money will be useless.
I agree. Bitcoin can help people get out of poverty if they've invested too early and the price now is totally gonna make them out of the poverty. So, it can do end poverty but someone who's got out from it should be responsible and maintain their situation to stay there and never come back to the poverty line. But we have to consider those that are in the poverty level that they can't invest as they've got no spare money in doing it. Instead of buying bitcoin, they'll choose to buy their needs because that's more needed than to invest. However, those that have taken time to take risk and buy bitcoin probably with equivalent of one meal a day that they've got have got some good gains but, not all can do that.

1903  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OPNX Exchange, the comedy show continues on: March 21, 2023, 11:48:22 PM
I think I've seen a service like this in the US that they help people with their claims but is it really possible to happen with those companies that have already filed for bankruptcy?
You have seen a service like this that allows users to trade their claims?

This is a first one for me, and I won't lie to you. I don't trust it any single bit
I think I have but it's not in crypto. I'm not sure if it was the one that mrbeast have advertised and can't remember the whole thing. It's like a service to claims, money and stuff but yeah, this one is shady. Zhu got already crumpled his reputation and anything that's related to him and with such services should be avoided, I'll not trust him either and won't avail any service from him although I don't really need it.

We should not trust it because this service was created and being run by one of the biggest crypto leverage gamblers of the cryptospace. He is also known for using his other crypto hedgefund friends and followers as exit liquidity. He had influence over the Defi trading community before. If he shares something bullish on a coin or token, the price will pump and what he is really doing is dumping on them hehehehe.
And even if we try hard to remind everybody not to trust him, he can still manipulate some people into believing him that he's gonna give them the maximum benefit and that's one of the saddest truth on the other communities that he's in.
1904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why people promote gambling sites . on: March 21, 2023, 10:16:38 PM
That's how business, promotion and affiliate works. For those influencers, it's quick for them to make money with gambling promotions because they'll just have to play and show it to their audience and entice them that they are doing well and that's it. They'll instruct every audience that they've got to sign up under their link and they'll get some bonus but unknowingly, they are also going to get some bonus referral from those sign ups after they deposit. That's why it's also instructed that whoever signs up should deposit with the amount that they're saying. There are some of them that do remind their fans to gamble moderately and it's not for kids but, yeah, it's sad that I see those that don't.
1905  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 21, 2023, 06:08:18 PM
Yeah, it's not the entire market that needs regulations but those centralized exchanges and services that can be said to be at their control. These banking system are nowhere to go and that's why they're looking for ways to bail out and to tell people that they're doing good even if it's visible in our naked eyes on what's actually is happening on them. Together with the government, they're helping each other trying to regulate crypto but in reality, they should be the one that must be monitored because of the scenarios and events that has shown to the world on how corrupt they are.
We have been waiting for regulations for a long time, and until today there is none. Generally, people who like to invest will not touch something that is not regulated because who knows that by the next few days, BTC could be banned. I suppose it's the fear by the many investors in the US who had so much trust in thier SEC that also wants to keep crypto dead.

While they are introducing FEDnow also, I guess the goal will also be to make FEDcoin look better than BTC.
That's right. If it's for us, we know what we like and that's why regulation must also be regulated. But long time ago and before all of these issues, we wanted the government intervention at least. Because we know that it will drive the price of bitcoin which is really true and became a reality. But then, we saw how it's making things not really interesting anymore and with all of the banking collapses. Then, they should look for some other things to be regulated first and take that action before intervening with the crypto market because it doesn't sound good that the regulated ones are collapsing while they're wanting to take action for the unregulated and decentralized market that's doing good. Anyway, it's all where the money is going and they know that it's in here, on this market, bitcoin and the entirety of crypto market.
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 21, 2023, 04:55:43 PM
I don't know if anyone is thinking the same thing, Banks are collapsing and they want to regulate crypto? How is this going to be possible? How can a corrupt system brings a transparent regulation to the crypto space? I think that this regulation is a FAD, the aim behind this regulation is not about saving mankind from crypto rug pulls, I think the plan is to squeeze the life out of crypto because of the attention its getting.

If anything needs regulation, it is CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES only.
1907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: March 21, 2023, 11:44:28 AM
It's really the best advice to keep that we have to secure our funds or crypto assets through keeping it with a hardware wallet. The security of it is way better than those wallets that we've been introduced like the web wallets which is common for beginners.
I've got a couple of friends that have been into bitcoin investing and all of them started to expand their investments and portfolio through buying different altcoins. I've already told them my thoughts about it and there's nothing wrong with it as long as they will not forget that they all started out with bitcoin and all the crypto in the market are moving because of it, so, they shouldn't just leave it. And as they invest, they have to make sure that it won't be painful to them with the money they allocate into their altcoin investment expansions.
1908  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mistakes small or big that will cause us a lot in the future on: March 21, 2023, 08:15:19 AM
This is a great list and very reminder not just to newbies but to everyone. I'd like to add about panicking. Like when something goes wrong and there's an investor who's panicking because he wants to transfer his assets quickly and exchange it on swap websites just like this guy[1].
The importance of having a 2FA is making your accounts and funds secure and making sure that you know where you're registering your information because there have been cases about sim swap[2] that has been a popular case since a few years ago.

1909  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto related jobs on: March 20, 2023, 11:16:46 PM
Those that have background in development. It's more in demand because whenever I look and try to job search for crypto related jobs, what I am seeing more are the blockchain developers. And whenever there's a statistics shown about what are the current in demand jobs, it's always there. That's why those that have programming backgrounds are at edge to jump off with this industry and those that have the idea about the entire market of crypto and its tech which is blockchain, it's not only limited to blockchain development but also about project management, support and community roles and many more but you just have to plus it with a background and knowledge about crypto.

1911  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think that there are Dark secrets in every Successful Business on: March 20, 2023, 07:36:55 PM
You mean like in gambling it's a dark secret that there are losers and winners? I have idea about the other dark secrets that do happen in physical casinos where you'll just get to see it there once you're already there. And it's funny that these days, these videos on socials have been popping on my feed and showing those dark secrets which are no longer secret anymore as it becomes a norm. Well, that's it, it could be dark secrets for the new ones that have just found it out but it's not actually hidden thing these days.
I think what is meant by this dark secret is about how a business owner can get such a fortune that he can run his casino or what is behind the casino entrepreneur so that he can grow his business so big because we know that competition in the gambling business in cities regulations that allow gambling is very strict. Hence, it is not easy for business owners to develop their gambling business.

But I believe that every business owner must have dark secrets that he keeps for himself or those who are close to him. And we also don't have to try to find out and it's best to let it be their dark secret.
Well, that's for sure and that's why those honest business people that are into this industry have come through thick and thin until they've reached their destination of being successful.

We better play gambling and just enjoy it.
Yeah, let's just do our thing and enjoy what's in front of us as we gamble. While them, if they've got some dark secrets, let them uncover it and if they'll keep on doing it, it's up to them since it's their business and we just only mind ours.
1912  Economy / Exchanges / Re: OPNX Exchange, the comedy show continues on: March 20, 2023, 05:38:08 PM
I'm still curious about the developers of this site, why did they put this non-clickable image LOL.
Those were the companies that have issues in the past. And I think their service is about claiming any of the funds remaining there. I'm not sure about that though but I wouldn't call it an exchange if they're offering that type of service. Here are those companies that are on the top of that image and I just stopped there.

Quote from: https://opnx.com/
OPNX solves this by providing a public marketplace for trading claims and crypto. It allows individuals and organizations to easily register their claims, sell them directly into crypto on orderbooks, or use their claim as portfolio margin. This enables claimants to efficiently unlock billions of dollars of trapped capital.

I think I've seen a service like this in the US that they help people with their claims but is it really possible to happen with those companies that have already filed for bankruptcy? See, it's not really an exchange service. Therefore, I agree with the title, a comedic service.
1913  Economy / Economics / Re: less risk or big profit? on: March 20, 2023, 03:56:20 PM
One can start investing in bitcoin but not with real estate. You can DCA in bitcoin but not with real estate. That's why for newbies, it's friendly if they start with bitcoin and then if they've managed to have their capital increase and they think that they can now start with real estate, that's so much better. We all want the best investments in our lives, one that can set us in our lives forever and then will generate passive income.
People that have less tolerance in risk, they can save money for so long and then start buying their first real estate investment. That's the strategy for them, there's a lot of difference from buying bitcoin or getting started with crypto.

1915  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Found it on the Internet 100USDT on: March 19, 2023, 09:22:23 PM
With that kind of story, I have that quick coming up that type of exchange is a scam. No exchange will give you $100 for free and then will ask you to deposit because that's the actual there. And it has happened for so many times when newbies have asked in the past how they're going to get that free money. But the reality, is that they won't get it. Once you deposit on that exchange, they'll have another questionable requirement to you and might ask for another deposit. It's a loop that you'll never like unless you're the owner of this website and you're shilling it here. And with the whois information given, this is the type of exchanges or websites that I mostly avoid.
1916  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: March 19, 2023, 07:26:58 PM
Just like everyone else, I'm just happy that I have survived this pandemic together with my family but heart goes to those that have lost their loved ones because of this virus.

Me too actually I do have more money during pandemic rather than now. During pandemic I have 3 clients and it pays me well and it helps me to sustain my needs now I am feeling that I left behind on our trend I don't know why but it happens. I just really wish that my drive and motivation to earn more and get more clients during pandemic can go back now. Pandemic is not really a nightmare to me, it is somehow become my rest as well.
Good for you and this pandemic have made a lot of jobs turn into remote and that had made the demands quite high. This pandemic has left me with a lot of uncertainties of having what ifs on my mind. What if there's another pandemic that's about to happen soon and it's gonna more brutal than the recent one. It has left a lot of thinking and uncertainties to many people and also, it has made a lot of us depressed because of the situation that everyone has went in. Just as what OP has expressed, many experienced hunger and it has took a lot of lives for which this isn't only happening on this covid trend but even before it.
1917  Economy / Gambling / Re: BETS.IO Casino Up to 20% Cashback Every Day | 10-Minute Cashout | No KYC on: March 18, 2023, 09:20:56 PM
There have been threads that have been posted on this the same section telling good things and promoting your casino. I'm not sure if there's some promo and giveaway that's currently happening there that requires to post a thread in the forum. But these threads if there will be more in the nearest future might just be deleted or locked upon being reported and if you've got a community inside your casino or sort of a telegram group, it's better to tell them that there's no need to make new threads and just stick on this thread of yours which is the official one.
These are the threads:
1918  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Localbitcoins.com exit scam - scammer CEO Sara Leppänen on: March 18, 2023, 11:05:15 AM
It was reported on different crypto news publishers that localbitcoins.com have already announced their closure on February 16, 2023 and onwards will be the time for those users that still have got funds left to withdraw.

How to get all information about the owners of that scam company, for example Sara Leppänen is it possible to find our her ID?
You can easily google them and the name that will appear is different from what you've mentioned and that was said by dansus. I think that you've landed on a wrong domain and website and that's like a phishing and copycat of localbitcoins.

For more info visit their service closure announcement through their official website: https://localbitcoins.com/service_closure/
1919  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: March 18, 2023, 09:19:59 AM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you
Before, it wasn't like that. Whenever there's some news about economy related topics that were definitely bad news, it doesn't affect bitcoin a lot. But the dynamic changes, market changes and fundamentals have been greatly increasing for bitcoin. So, having this question play on your mind isn't really dumb at all. We're all wanting to know why it's like that and you'll get various possible good answers from here. Since there have been a lot of change in the market, adoption have increased and that's why having this question is also the same like thinking why every economic news affects the global markets. Let's think that, all investors and traders do follow the news because it is the market mover every time there will be a news release coming from FED or any bank that's in closure or collapse or anything related to them.
1920  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 18, 2023, 07:08:42 AM
but I want to ask do you think the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches 50000 or not... ?I want to hear it from all of you...
Long term? Easy, yes. But if your span of period for that price is for this year then it may take time and it's 50/50 of chance to happen. Do remember that halving is about to happen next year and that will trigger the demand and lesser supply for the rewards of miners, in short the impact will go directly to the price assumingly will create a positive impact.

and if I sell my bitcoin now I'm afraid the price of bitcoin will fly even higher... I want to hear your opinion...?
Sell if you need the cash, do not regret selling if there's an important thing you're about to purchase or bills to pay. You don't have to sell all of it and just take a part of portion from your holdings. And if you've got other source of income, upon selling, create a plan that you'll buy those sold bitcoin of yours and do the DCA technique for you not to miss out the next bull run.
