1041  Economy / Exchanges / Re: 1337mushroom.exchange - Peer To Peer Crypto Currency Exchange [BETA TESTING] on: September 21, 2023, 03:54:37 PM
Aside from all of the suggestions given about the domain and running a beta testing campaign. You need to update all of your reviews.
It doesn't look real and I know that it's just like a template but with little details being seen by your potential traders, it could be a turn off for them.
1042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share Your Experience About Casinos You Found Here on: September 21, 2023, 11:31:00 AM
Everyone is going to agree if they gamble in a casino that has an unresponsive and useless support. That's what makes us connected to them and feel at home when they're very open and communicative with their customers. But when you don't feel that you've been taken cared of and they don't give importance to any query to their customers, that's how they are showing the real them. Well, for some instances there have been customers that are repetitive with their concerns and sometimes it's really too annoying on their end. And if it's the obvious, that's probably the reason why they're not responsive for some specific customers. However, that's not how they should take care of their customers. Everyone should be treated fair and square as all of them are customers. Anyway, you've got more privilege if you're the bigger guy that has wagered a lot on them. Another one that many gamblers will agree upon is the sudden KYC during the withdrawals but this thing has become a common response of a casino when the amount of request is overwhelming.
1043  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No matter the pressure don't release on: September 21, 2023, 09:10:00 AM
Thanks for sharing that experience, those that are always trading through the P2P markets. It's very important that you're sure with the transaction that you'll do and make it always black and white before releasing the crypto that you're about to sell. It's okay to delay it if there's no confirmation yet from your bank and the money isn't reflecting yet. For sure that the legitimate buyers will understand why you're delaying it and they will do the same thing if they are on your shoes. It's just for precautionary measures to avoid scammers that might just reverse the transaction since it's bank transaction and you're at loss with that as you're the one to release the crypto. Another red flag for those not genuine traders that you may encounter are the ones that are in a hurry when trying to push you to release it when there's no confirmation yet. When you encounter one of those, you know what to do.
1044  Economy / Economics / Re: 0-Dated Options Trading vs. Gambling: Which Packs More Thrill? on: September 21, 2023, 07:18:22 AM
What are your thoughts? Do you find the strategic challenge of options trading more thrilling, or the unpredictability of gambling? Share your experiences below!
Well, it's more thrilling but I wouldn't go for that. I'd rather choose the typical trading setup than going with the 0DTE option or any the same trading setup like margin trading. While gambling is unpredictable, your intention varies on what you actually wanna do. If you're up for trading and you're like doing it without that much experience, then do it to gain more experience but you don't expect to have good endings. Whilst in gambling, you know what to expect and you could win and lose some. Both has its own risk but the setup of what you're going to choose and how much money you're gonna start with them adjusts the risk.
1045  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Celsius claimant Agent Website on: September 20, 2023, 11:20:49 PM
In every claims that we're seeing, there's also those scammers that tries to take advantage of the situation. Thanks OP when you've seen this and we need to alert everyone else upon seeing such fake claimant website or a phishing link that appears to be a copy cat of the legitimate ones. It's not just for the claims of celcius but also for other websites and services that has been gone and out of service already. This isn't going to be the last one that we'll see and there will be new ones that will be made by the scammers behind these fake websites and likely, they've been doing this all of their lifetime.
1046  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Moment of truth on: September 20, 2023, 09:54:34 PM
1. what helped you blend into this space?
Learning that it's still new and almost none from my place knew it and that made it unique so I did my part of getting into it.

2. tell us how your journey in cripto has been.
It's a long story and it's just like someone else's crypto journey where they've started with nothing and then pushed themselves to accumulate and held Bitcoin for a long time and sold at the right time.

3. what would be your advice to the newbie still trying to figure things out?
Just take your time, it's okay if things aren't moving according to your plans. There's a reason why sometimes things are slowing down and that's for you to adjust. Don't be too pushy to yourselves and invest only what you can until it changes your drive and you want to do more.

4. Did you also have the "get rich quick" mindset. I bet it slowed down your learning process.
Before, sort of. But it has changed when the actual market of Bitcoin shown me that its volatility is enough and much better than having that kind of mindset.
IMHO, this should be on Beginners and Help section.
1047  Economy / Economics / Re: Early Retirement [Pros and Cons] on: September 20, 2023, 05:19:03 PM
as long as you can still make money, don't even think about retiring early, I know early retirement is everyone's dream but who knows what will happen next, you have to maintain your grades and productivity so that you stay healthy and respected by people.
That's what I have learned from a professional. I thought of it as well that retiring on the early 30s is one of the best decision that one can ever make. Well, it is and there's no doubt with that but you just can't stop working when you've used to it. I think the best description of retiring early is that you can have a flexible job and still make money and have decent cash flow. That means that you have all of your time and at the same time you're making money. The new retirement and dream is to have as much time as you can and getting out of the rat race. While we're strong and still able to make money, there's no word such as retirement. You get to work flexibly and you earn and you enjoy what you have. Just look at the real rich people, they never stop working but the workload is lighter.
1048  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What are the most effective campaign methods in 2023? on: September 20, 2023, 03:23:45 PM
Given the fact that there have been good suggestions already but remember that investors are going to invest on your project based on how interesting your project is. At first, they might be hype and will invest because of how good at marketing your are. In the long run, the stability of the project and the legimaticy of it on how the developers are working on it still have the final say. Don't get blinded with how good marketing is for a project when you're not working hard on the actuality of the project. Going with the marketing, as mentioned you start from the forum and spread it through other social medias if you've got budget.
1049  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is there another similar concept? on: September 19, 2023, 11:37:41 PM
° Can an online business besides just a gambling platform, which accepts Bitcoin as payments or for payouts, run a signature campaign on this Bitcoin talk forum, or is the term 'signature campaign' strictly attributed to gambling platforms?
Any business can run a signature campaign, it's not only limited to gambling platforms. There goes the exchanges, ICOs(before), projects, NFT, etc.

° Is there another kind of forum for online businesses that accepts Bitcoin as payment, which is similar in concept like this forum? If no, is there any other discovery you have had that's close in initiative to an active community as this, which aims to help advertise, market, educate, inform and encourage adopting payments in BTC and crypto currency in general?

Your thoughts and opinions are welcomed!
There have been other forums that did tried their luck, no idea how many of them became successful. This is the best forum and if those other forums gained members from bitcointalk, they'll have hard time maintaining most of its members because no matter what they do. Everyone is going to come back here.

if you or anyone can share with us some of the success this forum has made that sets it apart from the any other, that's if they do exist.
Being established alone by satoshi is already a big factor.
1050  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies should be aware. on: September 19, 2023, 10:05:20 PM
Mail + airdrop + wallet details= scam

Most of these airdrops are scams so newbies should avoid these airdrops. Scammers especially promote fake airdrops on social media.
Well, many of these newbies are thinking that they shouldn't miss any airdrop because it's a free money for them. Unknowingly, they're targeted by these scammers/hackers waiting for them to bite the bait. It's not actually mail but an e-mail. Because mails are paper based and these scammers are sending these scam details through our emails.

Gmail is a street where a lot of fake scam airdrop mail can be found.
Take note that gmail is an email service and it's not only them that provides it. Technically, every email service is prone to these attackers as it's easy as 1-2-3 to send email randomly to anyone as long as you know the email addresses of the receivers regardless of what service or provider they are using.
1051  Economy / Economics / Re: On Apple's $200 billion dump and US shooting itself in the foot on: September 19, 2023, 08:03:34 PM
I remember when Trump tried to ban TikTok as that's a strikeback then against China.
I can still remember how funny the trial/questioning to the CEO of tiktok from the senators of USA, it seems that lack of knowledge from something is chaotic when you have the power to just shut it down forever. Tiktok complied to all they need to operate in most of countries and then USA started questioning about their national security. National security over an application that lets you take a photo of yourself with a filter and record yourself dancing. just wow.
They've done that because what they knew is TikTok is like a spy to their country. Well, these trials do happen and result like that for most of their hearing even for other companies.

It's always these two that have their own strikebacks hitting each other's economy. While there have been pulling out for the manufacturers from US companies that are being sourced out to China because of cheaper labor. China sees that labor much better to be invested into their own products and workforce that shall contribute more to them for the trade that they export abroad to compete products that have always been from the US. It is true that it's not just tech that China isn't trying to compete but there are such a lot of other industries they're trying to get on like in cars, construction, etc.
China isn't that weak to fight back against USA. I can sense that America is ready for something, like a warfare, so they just starting any conflict with countries. It is a great restart for their economy to avoid crawling against well performing country like China.
Much better to just stay with trade war. There will be collateral damage if an actual war happens and we don't want that to happen. But we can't do something if that triggers one of them to start it. Both of them are doing things that might startle the other. If they can't afford anymore the trade war, it's still possible that one can just fire to the other as the sign that it has all begun.

1053  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: XQtraders turned out to be scam on: September 19, 2023, 11:09:09 AM
You need to close the other new thread you've made: Xqtraders company founder
It's because part of the forum rules.

12. No duplicate posting in multiple boards (except for re-posting topics in the local language boards if they're translated and re-posting marketplace topics in the altcoin boards if altcoins are accepted).

According to bbb.org and sunbiz.org the company was founded by Kevin Russ and Nicholas Spurlock. I just want to know if the scammer used a fake name or taking information from that company claiming to be that company? According to sunbiz.org the company was dissolved last September 2022. I believe they registered online from abroad to appear more legit.

Another question is how come the domain was registered for ten years from December 2020 to December 2030 according to Whois? So the  scammer created that domain to appear more legit? Lunofund and Xqtraders are same crypto scam company created by Nigerians because both website was taken down on October 2022 claiming to have issue with original host but they ran away with the money. Both website were reported by users for illegal activities.
Now that you're talking about their domain registered until 2030. It's not a big deal because someone can do that for them or those names aren't really the name of the owners and they've just used a stolen identity or paid for someone to do that for them. I am still wondering how you guys are ending with these websites or groups that are likely to be scam.
1054  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They sent me btc to my wallet they were available and then they disappeared! on: September 19, 2023, 09:49:47 AM
If it's not broadcasted on the network then it didn't happened. Unless you did this through offchain like the seller's account from an exchange and your account from the same exchange. That means that if it's just shown to you that the balance was there, that doesn't mean that it was transferred to you. Maybe that guy just shown you his walllet and that's what he has sold to you but if that's the case, that's not in your custody because he still knows the private keys of that wallet. But it's best if you can add more details on how did actually happened. Either hacked, setup by the seller or you're completely have no idea what the heck happened and you can't explain it.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: September 18, 2023, 11:01:25 PM
i sent to BC.game official a dm here but i got ignored.

do i need to make a thread about my problem too in the scams sections?
I saw your thread and it's closed now, the good thing here is that at least also update this post of yours that the bc.game has helped you out and got your deposit back although it took 10 days but it's been resolved. As for that mistake you've made of forgetting the memo, I guess if that happens for the second time around, it's your fault.

I think there's no harm in waiting for the bc.game team to respond to you again and solve your case problem so that it can be resolved immediately and there is nothing that makes you uncomfortable playing there, sometimes we need to be patient to solve problems and maybe they will reply to you immediately if they come back again.  Wink
Yup, just take puregrinding's case for example. It took time for him but everything has been well and resolved.
1056  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm ready to learn crypto on: September 18, 2023, 09:50:43 PM
Can you impact us how to eliminate this spirit of fear in crypto investment by sharing your idea or experience
Just look at the ones that have been successful investors. They're the most patient people in the world and doesn't look at the crypto market in the short term. There could be some rare cases that looked on this market in the short term, invested and then profited from it.
But that fear will only be removed if you ever experience how the volatility of this really is removing those that have weak hearts. If you happen to survive that moment, the bear market, then that has made you stronger than ever and that fear could be removed already if you ever witness that.

I'm ready to learn crypto so that I will be bold in any season I will come across in the future.
I'm sure you do and you have a stronger feeling emotionally and that's what you need to prepare for.
1057  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not banned, yet not accepted on: September 18, 2023, 04:33:49 PM
Those people that uses bitcoin or has it while the law states that it's banned and any use of it are breaking the law. They're aware that Bitcoin is banned there but they're also aware that they can't be traced because it's not gonna happen unless there are already some samples of it. Like publicly reported and caught due to it. As long as there's no one that has been caught by the law and it says that it's banned, they'll keep using it as long as there are ways of doing it.
I have friends that are working in Cybercrime divisions and let me tell you that one slip up on bitcoin transactions and they're able to find out who you are especially if the bitcoin that was tracked was converted to fiat they can just do some tech stuff that they are expert in and from there it's easy to identify who is the person.
They can determine where it's sent and what exchanges they're able to sell those? I know that there are ways of tracking it but I'm out of it and don't want to dig on it. But to say about doing some tech stuff or so, I think that's not enough to prove it. Even so, I do believe that it's possible if they will really have to do that but it's gonna take time not unless those receiving addresses have been recorded that's from an exchange. And from there, that's how they're going to start the tracing as they can ask info upon verification of that exchange.

In my country, bitcoin is still a grey area when it comes to the discussion of it's legality because the Senate and other government bodies that are involved in this kind of discussion hasn't raised up that topic yet although the police and cybercrime divisions warn people from time to time the different kinds of scams that are using cryptocurrency but that's all there is to it. I hope that they're too busy to make some discussion on it because I kind of like the freedom that bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general is still in the grey area in my country.
Much better if it's on the gray area rather than the government is putting pressure to its citizen to avoid Bitcoin as they're placing a ban on it. And typically with the scams, they're all over the internet and they shouldn't focus only with Bitcoin if it's about it.

Bitcoin is only restricted in a few countries, and even with the restriction, I don't see people being bothered; people will still look for ways to get engaged. Nobody wants to pass up a chance to make money. Even the fact that it is illegal in there own region i say some country legalizing it so its a breakaway for other countries to start adapting all in a matter of time.
Yup, that's true. We've got forum members that are from those countries where Bitcoin was banned but it's not a problem on them and they've got solutions about it.

Am sure even in banned country nobody will bother reporting anyone considering  the nature of the economy, everyone is just trying to survive nothing more.
There could some, those that are jealous with that person that finds himself better and becomes successful through investing in Bitcoin.
1058  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When the fun stops on: September 18, 2023, 02:54:11 PM
Online gambling platforms exists not only to get you some lucky wins, it's also another form of entertainment,  but I will like to ask if truly you people are getting that entertainment from gambling?
Yes. A gambler can reason out that he's for gambling and entertainment but someone can also admit that he's literally doing it for fun. But regardless of the answer, it is for sure that we're getting the entertainment value as we gamble.

We can see what the world is becoming now, things are getting harder and what's on peoples mind is how to make even more money, there is no time, there are too many responsibilities,  are you sure you getting entertained?
Yup, we've got our own ways to satisfy ourselves and I can say that it's definitely entertaining. Whether I lose or win, you can choose your own happiness from those scenarios but of course, it's a painful entertainment when we're losing.

Some people already feel like they are not having fun, because what they have in mind is making money, to all people that feels this way, If you feel like you aren't having fun I believe for the greater good, it's better to take a break from gambling and do something else.

Do you agree or disagree?
I agree, when you're not having and it's a disaster that you're just getting for this day and you've been incurring a lot of lose so you're basically on a losing streak. It's best to stop and give yourself a break.
