Here are the current assets acquired by the new VAULT FUND:

1 x Used high quality wig donated by William Shatner
1 x Signed photo of Leonard Nimoy (signed by Tony Smith)
1 x Blocktech Group - Maker of comedy altcoins

If you know of any other high quality assets that should be acquired by the VF please post them here.

After upgrading to the new wallet which came out earlier today adressing the pool issue the wallet is crashing again, i have to restart it manually.

A Blockchain redownload did not help either.

I guess I'll drop the Pool until you guys fix your issues and can release a stable version - it just makes no sense like it is right now.

It's probably better for the price if nobody can mine it anyway.  That way the coin total will stay at 300 million give or take.

I think it's now time for all the idiots who have problems with #SYS to dump their coins and leave the forum. (I bet they won't of course.  They'll just come up with other excuses for complaining because they have no lives.)

Haven't seen many complaints since Syscoin virtually became Moolah-backed-coin (impressive cast: https://moolah.io/about).

Just wait for it.  They will find some reason to complain, like their Mummy hasn't changed their nappy on time, they spilt their apple juice, the cartoon they like has finished...Just give them time.

Keep up the support on Casheer
Guys keep posting your support on the Casheer Forum.  Every post we get is another step on the way to getting listed:

Share the News on POD
Also make sure you tweet and share the news about Britcoin getting a 4 POD rating on social media.  The more you can get the word out about Britcoin the bigger it will get.  Think of this as a way of growing your investment.  Imagine what would happen if we each managed to bring just one new person to Britcoin every day.

Useful Crypto Articles on Main Website to Bring New Users
I also think that as a way of attracting more people to the Britcoin website it would be a good idea to write some guides about Bitcoin/cryptocurrencies in general to instruct those who know nothing about them.  These would be part of the Britcoin site.
The Britcoin community members could help to write and draft them and these could be used as a form of informative advertising. People looking for information about Bitcoin and crypto in general might then be intrigued as to what Britcoin is.
This soft advertising technique has been used by a number of businesses to bring in large numbers of new clients without having to spend a lot on advertising and is detailed in David Merman Scott's book "The New Rules of Marketing & PR" which is well worth a read.

Any news?  What's the current situation?  Is the coin still alive or not - I will stop mining for now to save electricity?
1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Syscoin - Business on the Blockchain - LAUNCHED! on: August 20, 2014, 03:55:59 PM
I think half the btc should be returned to us.

Like that will happen...

If our review shows that the Syscoin team has completely failed, and refunds are necessary, there will be a full refund.

If our review shows that the Syscoin team has met their contractual obligations, and refunds are not necessary, there will not be a partial refund. However, we are recommending a staggered release to ensure continued development.

Mate, why are you still bothering to respond to these idiots who will complain no matter what?  They keep acting like the world is ending then wonder why the price of the coin is falling.   These kind of people are a cancer for all crypto and responding to them only makes them feel justified in their BS.  Just let them keep complaining hopefully they will eventually give up and move on to another coin so SYS can be given a chance to recover. The rest of us are going to get on with our lives.

Good news everyone! BritCoin is now part of the "Proof of Developer" scheme.

Brilliant.  Might be an idea to get some notarised ID when you have time so you can get that last POD too but this is a great plus, don't forget to add it to the OP.

I can't get the marketplace to work on my (mac) wallet.  Can anyone confirm that it is functional?  I can see the offers but whenever I try to buy anything I get an error even though I have unlocked my wallet temporarily:

Quote
Error paying for offer: "offerpay <rand> [<accepttxid>] <message>
Pay for a confirmed accepted offer.
<rand> randkey from offeraccept txn.
<accepttxid> offeraccept txn id, if daemon restarted.
<message> payment message to seller, 16 KB max.

requires wallet passphrase to be set with walletpassphrase first"

Are you using these services on an encrypted wallet? Here to help, IRC for faster help Wink. I bought some stuff off the market yesterday just to test but my wallet isn't encrypted so might be something we need to investigate.

I have used all 4 services promised at launch on the main network and they are all functional. They may not be all pretty in the QT UI but we already were clear that was a work in progress and would be completed post-launch. The core services are all functional.

Yes its encrypted but unlocked (via the console temporarily).
