If you're trying to "target" female audience name should be kept as it is or it should be changed to something related to fitness such as "GoFit". From marketing point of view you will push away female audience if you change the name to "ManGO". Gender bias would keep females from downloading this app.

just my few cents.

1985  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Good exchange with no bots on: January 19, 2015, 03:04:13 PM
I've been using trex but bots are killing me. Don't like cryptsy. C-cex seems to have real low volume and lot of coins aren't listed there.

What are some good exchanges out there that don't use bots?

stop mining everything that gets thrown out in this forum ffs. Stick to good coins and let these scams die or crypto will die in future.

1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No one takes crypto seriously. lol on: January 19, 2015, 07:14:56 AM
I guess to take you seriously and believe you are therefore a noob you must be holding 500k or more. care to prove it?

not necessarily. There are bitcoin holders who have millions $ worth but they stay away from crypto and manipulation.

I was referring to that as an example of how easy it is to manipulate the market in crypto. In fact you need a lot less than 500k for manipulation.

12 BTC is like $2000  Grin

If you're so poor that you don't even have $2000 to build your coin. How do you expect people to believe that it'll rise in value overtime?

Glad I didn't invest in this BS

1990  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / No one takes crypto seriously. lol on: January 19, 2015, 06:09:09 AM
How can anyone take it seriously?

There are whales and then there are wanna be whales. In stock market you need skills to manipulate the market and you have to learn how to hide that manipulation or you'll be left with bags but in crypto people don't have that skills yet they try to manipulate the market. What happens is they're bunch of high school kids who think they're Warren Buffet but anyone who have spent little time with stocks can look at crypto and see when manipulation is going on.

Who falls for this "nooby" manipulation? other noobs who have no real experience with trading or people who wants to gamble their money. No serious trader would jump in crypto EVER!

Random coins getting pumped out of nowhere. I mean come on! How do you expect anyone to take it seriously when coin that has no real world use gets pumped x1000 within few hours.

These noob whales could make so much money ONLY if they learned how to be a trader before jumping in market. They still get profit but without proper experience they settle for 10x profit when they could easily make 1000x profit.

There is a reason why none of them have turned into warren buffet. They stupid as fck when it comes to hiding their manipulation. They give away too much information on chart that keeps serious traders away from said crypto.

Anyone with spare 500k can manipulate the shit out of crypto. In stocks it's called pocket change.
1991  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 18, 2015, 07:26:18 PM
If it's a scam it's very well planned scam I've ever seen in crypto.  Grin

Seeing latest events it looks like planning isn't their strongest skill.

Let's recap:

1) release untested feature
2) crash their own market
3) halt and reverse trades
4) bail from the conference

Looking at the XPY price chart it seems like it's going in the opposite direction from the $20.

in that case may be it's not a scam. Can't blame them for failing at something that has never been done before. At least they're dedicated to make it work. Price of XPY returned to normal very quickly after that crash and only few people could take advantage of it because it happened too fast.

May be he chew more than he could swallow but overall I don't think it's going in other direction. Look at the price chart from day 1..no major change except normal p&d that happens to every crypto. Most other crypto can't even survive more than a week after they reach highest volume. XPY has had top volume in all major exchange since day 1 even after price crashed and people dumped.

When BTC was crashing..XPY was one of the coin that didn't get affected at all.

1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What cryptocurrency do you have the most faith in the long term? on: January 18, 2015, 06:55:11 PM
Bitcoin has no competition. Zero, none.

Listen to me for once. If you want to invest on stable coin go for bitcoin. All other coins will come and go. Some are very good but competition in crypto is not something you want..it'll kill all the good coins in coming future. Too many scams, too many shill accounts, too much fuds. Bitcoin has limited amount of those. It's the MOST difficult coin to miine and still values 1000x more than most crypto out there.

Invest in BTC you will never be disappointed.

It's interesting that how some people still have hope in an almost expired technology!

It's funny how that expired technology values 10000x more than most crypto even after it goes through hard dump. It's funnier how all crypto goes red when that old technology decides to take a dump meanwhile that old technology doesn't get affected by other crypto.  Grin
1993  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paycoin (XPY) is scam on: January 18, 2015, 06:50:32 PM
You don't know how many xpy gaw holds. lol

If there are only $100k worth of xpy floating in the market and 5% of people decides to sell. Gaw only needs $5k to buy them back. No one is stupid enough to claim they'll buy back your $5 coin for $20 when there is no benefit for them.

Also, $100k is minimum. They haven't told anyone maximum yet.

$20 was also the minimum. Look how well that worked out.

technically it's impossible to keep any coin at $20. I guess they learned it hard way.

Buying back for $20 isn't impossible thing to do specially if you own 90% of those coins. Buying back can benefit him in short/long term whether he is trying to take it to next level or even if he is trying to make more money from this. Once people see that he is buying it for $20 you'll see exchange fill up with people buying XPY so they can sell it to him for $20. He can dump all his coins on their head and say hasta la vista bitches.  Grin

Some [altcoins] are very good ...

*snip*

So which one is your favourite?

Mangocoinz.

no bullshit. no drama and it's doing something that NONE of the other crypto can do. All others just copying bitcoin while mangocoinz is thinking out of the box and it'll get MOST visibility you have ever seen in crypto. Any average joe can mine it..if you can jerk off you can mine mangocoinz.

I like that lame attempt to pump the coin. Huge buy wall and nobody willing to start buying. The first who starts buying will be the one who set that buy wall. Smiley

How many people would buy after that dump?

only handful who doesn't read btctalk  Grin

Funny someone just bought 2 btc worth up to 370... gaining their position. So I would pay attn to what's coming and not what happened. With a dump like that and to have to coin cocorrect almost instantly says something to any seasoned trader.

more dump will come. Trust me.

All those people who swapped their coins..they'll dump..few of them won't but majority would because they're getting 2x profit even if they sell at 50 sat.

I say give it about 2 weeks to create some stable floor. I'm not touching it unless it hits sub 50 until then.

This could be fixed if swap wasn't there. Majority of them bought it between 19-35 sat. You're telling them they can swap it for new scsy and get 10x proft? shiiittt. How do you expect market to not collapse?
