1981  Economy / Economics / Re: Best website to give out loans? Btcjam or ? on: January 30, 2015, 01:23:21 PM
Hows the rate of scammed lenders if you do it in this forum vs in centralized sites like BTCJAm?
1982  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 11 million in scams? on: January 30, 2015, 01:21:46 PM
They use this thread as reference, I assume the value is so low because they are counting the bitcoin exchange rate at the time of the scam, even like this it seems low.
Well its relative, for the people that lost the money 11 million seems like a shitload.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Bitcoin Exchange Loses 1,000 BTC on: January 30, 2015, 01:20:03 PM
Oh my god and another one bites the dust. Thats why say if Gemini suffers something like this it would be very bad for BTC. This needs to stop happening ffs.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regret and depression on: January 30, 2015, 01:13:59 PM
bitcoin was my one and only way of becoming a millionaire in life and it was right under my nose.

Right now there is another way, and 4 years from now you'll wish you had been doing that instead of moaning on a message board.

If Bitcoin continues to grow, it could be comparable to Visa.  But then there's still room for Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.  If you want a million dollars for a $100 investment, look at which altcoins have that potential.  Me, I'm working both angles - if I buy 1BTC and it gets to be worth $10,000, I still won't be able to retire early.  But if I buy a bunch of altcoins and let them grow into 20BTC, and then those 20BTC are worth $10,000 each, then it's a good start.

Besides, have you even thought about what you would do with a million dollars?  I mean, would it really make you happy?  Or would you be online 4 years later, saying "I wasted my time chasing bitcoin and a million dollars, and I missed the chance to get married and be happy."

Lol no, I would be happy with 1 million dollars.

But the thing is, who the fuck is going to grow 1 BTC into 20 buying altcoins when most are scams? I can only think 2 altcoins I would put some BTC long term, and we dont know the amount of BTC needed. Im thinking minimum 1 BTC invested and praying to Saint Satoshi that these alts make it big.
1985  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Who is killing the great bankers of Europe? on: January 29, 2015, 04:52:19 PM
Bitcoin specializes in killing bankers and freeing people from them in the process Smiley
1986  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: whats the best alt coin to invest in 2015 on: January 29, 2015, 04:49:58 PM
XMR seems like a good shoot given the very cheap price. MAID too long term, but right now don't get fooled, it's an already self correcting bubble so wait for cheap prices.
1987  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: USA just released a digital currency white paper. Wonder where they got the idea on: January 29, 2015, 04:45:14 PM

Interesting. I was sure I heard this before being mentioned here. Whats up with the name change tho?
1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is everyone so quiet? on: January 29, 2015, 04:26:23 PM
The BTC is in consolidation status. When it gets more used, things will change.
People are taking positions. The scared chickenheads are waiting or selling, the visionaries are buying as much as sub 300 BTC as possible.
1989  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Actual Bitcoin 2.0 - Would You Buy It? on: January 29, 2015, 04:07:28 PM
What would the foundation have to do with that? The only way I could see this happening is if BTC were broken and required a hard fork. In that case we might all have to move to a 2.0.

But No. There are bitcoins and scamcoins. Well, ok, litecoin has shown it's staying power.
Legit, but you are forgeting MAID as a solid project for the future. And maybe Monero if you are into buying ilegal shit (im not).
1990  Economy / Speculation / Re: Not another is Bitcoin dead question?? BUT... on: January 29, 2015, 04:05:11 PM
You would be missing the point if you think Bitcoin will follow the alt's destiny (ultimate death).

Bitcoin is crashing so it can prove to the world how insanely resilent it is. It is destined for triumph. Failure is not an option. Just watch and see history unfold itself.
1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taylor Swift Twitter and Instagram Hacked: Private Photos For !Bitcoin! on: January 29, 2015, 03:38:30 PM
Sometimes I think celebs leak their own nude just for the sake of free publicity, just my 2 sats.
1992  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to the moon? on: January 28, 2015, 02:28:46 PM
no.

They negotiated Willy bot, but Karpeles wanted too much for it so they only made a moon countdown to grab some small profit

If Karpeles sat inside the rocket, the rocket would have malfunctioned trying to lift off.
1993  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: USA Faucet up to 0.4 BTC on: January 28, 2015, 02:24:22 PM
0.4? What are the chances mathematically to win such amount of BTC in the faucet? they must be ridiculously low??
1994  Economy / Services / Re: Up to 0.035 BTC weekly for YOUR SIGNATURE *New rules on: January 28, 2015, 02:14:11 PM
Thanks a lot, the payment finally arrived. Keep up the good work.
1995  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taylor Swift Twitter and Instagram Hacked: Private Photos For !Bitcoin! on: January 28, 2015, 02:10:32 PM
Invasion of privacy and it's indirectly linked to bitcoin. I wouldn't want that publicity
Ain't you heard the lesson son? Any publicity is good publicity at this point. Let the fappening re-commence.
1996  Economy / Speculation / Re: Who got burnt today! on: January 28, 2015, 02:07:18 PM
I am not considering buying btc any time soon before it's more clear which direction it's going to.

Its a good decision but price surges can happen at any time and so fast that by the time you wake up the price is x3 of what it was.
1997  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Greece adopt Bitcoin? The answer is No on: January 28, 2015, 02:03:01 PM
Greece will get kicked/leave the European Union soon. The stockmarket is crashing hard and the risk premium is off the charts. Interesting times......
1998  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 796 lost 1,000 bitcoin on: January 28, 2015, 01:57:14 PM
Anndd another one bites the dust. I really hope Coinbase and Gemini dont suffer from this otherwise its game over.
1999  Other / Politics & Society / Re: NSA Spying Has Strong Approval From Young People on: January 28, 2015, 03:00:36 AM
Well think about it for a sec... young people have been born into social medias, they post their faces, names, addresses, phone numbers all over the internet not giving a fuck, the even post semi naked pics as instagram avatars... i dont think they care much about they being spyed on when they enjoy so much exposing themselves, they'll think "well, if it saves us from a crazy guy wanting to explode himself hoping to fuck 72 virgins in the afterlife".
2000  Economy / Economics / Re: Best website to give out loans? Btcjam or ? on: January 28, 2015, 02:57:10 AM
I have been considering entering BTCJam for an investment for a year or so now, afaik they are chinese... i just dont know if i can trust btc related businesses yet, so many people scamming and getting away with it because no one cares since thats a downside of not having big regulations.
