1981  Economy / Economics / Re: Countries where you have biggest changes to become rich from zero on: March 21, 2022, 10:54:13 AM
In western eirope such us netherland switzerland germany its all about your education and papers...not about who you are and what are your human qualities unless you have super good education you have zero opportunities in western europe also.
I know many people who were raised in Eastern Europe and got well paying jobs in the West and never even had to leave their town. They are all working in IT and most of them are self taught. Mostly back end devs, but also support specialists and so on. Many Western companies hire in Eastern EU because it's cheaper for them and there's even more skilled people there. Now imagine that you live in Eastern EU where everything is much cheaper and you get a Western EU pay, while working from home.

I don't know what level of being rich you're talking about. If by rich you mean that somebody is flying a private jet then maybe you're right, but if you're talking about living in a new house with a big garden, having 2 cars one for daily driving and one for fun, being able to travel, then it's achievable in any EU country. You just need to be good at something other people aren't. For instance, I have a friend whose mother is a doctor doing all those beauty treatments like BTX and she earns a lot. They have apartments all around Europe (Germany, Italy, Austria).
1982  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Strategic defeat for Russia? on: March 20, 2022, 10:28:34 PM
The Russian invasion is Ukraine is likely to result in Russia being unable to supply gas to Europe, as Europe will be unwilling to buy Russian gas over the long term.

It won't change much for Russia. When there's a seller, there's always a buyer. If not at this price, there will be at a lower one. Some countries will buy Russian Gas. For instance, Orban said he's not going to stop trading with Russia because Hungary cannot afford it.
Many countries have voted to stop trading with Russia but they have contracts until the end of this year, so they will keep buying until 2023. I doubt the war will last that long. It will either end with Russia falling back after getting assurance from Ukraine that it won't join NATO (which it is already ready to give), or escalate to a war with the EU and NATO. This isn't too improbable because almost 50% Russians support the invasion of Ukraine and blame the EU for sanctions. Most supply chains from the EU to Ukraine go through Polish border. I wouldn't be surprised if Putin shot a few missiles towards the border which would be a direct attack that NATO might not let slide.
1983  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should forget that there'll be 21M BTC on: March 20, 2022, 10:03:27 PM
I'd expand this thought to include coins that are going to be lost (irretrievable) by the time we get to mine the last coin about more than 100 years from now.

If you think about it, we are 12 years into the process and nearing 19m mined bitcoins and in this short time we've managed to lose between 2.8 and 3.8 million coins. This means that if the lower number is correct, people were losing BTC250k a year! At that speed we'd need 40 years to lose half of the total supply of bitcoin, making it impossible to even have a circulating supply in 100 years, when the last coins are to be mined.

I don't expect bitcoin to survive 100 years in its current form, but something will have to be done along the way to make sure it doesn't self destruct.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Comparing the previous bear run of Market on: March 20, 2022, 09:47:09 PM
I think it's the same but the price is different as you can see right now, the price was cut more than half from its ATH last year. It was the same from last 2018 right?
Not really.
First of all we had a dead cat bounce in 2018, meaning that price went from around 20k down to 10k (50%) and in about 2 weeks went up again to 17k which was very close to the ATH. Then it dropped again to a strong support of 6kUSD (30% of the ATH)

Now we had a drop from 70k back to 40k, no bounce and another drop to 32k and now we're stuck in this 35-45k (around 40% down from ATH) range for 3 months.

This doesn't look similar to 2018, but I also think it doesn't have to. Who says bull-bear cycles have to look the same every time. If you look at the details they never are.
In 2017 we went up 10x from the previous ATH. In 2017 we only went up 3.5x. A bull cycle so much weaker from the last one is expected to produce a weaker bear market.

Quote
Just don't expect it to go down to less than $10,000 again because it won't gonna happen after bitcoin halving.

Why would it go to 10k? You're trying to look for similarities between previous markets, so be consistent. After reaching a new ATH in a cycle, bitcoin hasn't ever retraced below the ATH of a previous cycle.
When we went from 10k to 20k for the first time, the next bear market did not go back below 1k. After breaking 20k for the second time the lowest that I'd expect it to fall from the ATH of 70k is 20k with a possible wick below. Daily candle wicks are possible to go lower than the fair price because of low liquidity on exchanges.
10k is out of the question unless we get a black swan event like a nuclear catastrophe or a world war.

1985  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess online? on: March 20, 2022, 08:44:55 PM
^

I try to avoid games and activities that make me nervous or angry. My last chess matches were like that, so I probably won't go back to chess again. It's much easier for me to play slots. Even after I spend my money in the slots I don't have those negative feelings.

That's basically why I quit online gaming. There's rarely any online game where you fight other players that will not make you nervous. Even games where you play with others against an AI can be frustrating.

Chess seems to be a harmless game. We often joke about chess player's reflexes (meaning you're extremely slow and calm), but like in every competition, it's easy to lose when you know you're a newbie. You don't put the bar high for yourself. When you become very good, gain followers, some pride in your skill, every defeat hurts.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks in Ukraine Restrict Clients from Buying Bitcoin using Ukrainian hryvnia on: March 20, 2022, 08:31:51 PM
It just shows you that the Banks care more about the hryvnia's stability than preserving the value of the wealth of the people. They do not even care that millions of Dollars are being donated via Crypto currencies and eventually converted into their local currency.  Roll Eyes

The impact of the war on their economy are much more damaging to the stability of their economy and the stability of their Fiat currency, so they should rather focus on getting a solution for that.  Wink

I don't think they can save the value of a currency by banning the ability to use it as the people want. When you start to do it, people become anxious, they start thinking that now they can't buy foreign currencies or bitcoins and next month there will be something else like a ban for sending money abroad or another seizure like they did in Russia where you get up to 10k EUR of your deposit and the rest is frozen (basically stolen). You start messing around with people's property, it always ends bad for you as the lawmaker.
1987  Economy / Gambling / Re: [GUIDE] 10 complete steps for new casino into this forum on: March 20, 2022, 05:29:18 PM

That is why, the casino should have much money to do these campaigns.  Cheesy
The bottom line here is that The casino needs to have More money not just for advertising or anything but you know for what?

"They Need more money to Assure the Gamblers that will play in their site about the capacity of the company to pay if chances of winning Huge Amount"

as we knew that gambling is Luck Base and they might not realize that the very moment  they opened the site? first player may win Jackpot , i know that is is rare ocassion but possibilities are there right?

I'm pretty sure most bitcoin casinos in such case would default and shut down just to remake the site under a new name.
Think about it. You make a new site, start advertising and you get first few clients out of which somebody wins big like 50k in bitcoin and you have no reviews, no reputation to protect, no vip clients or anything. There's not much to lose. You shut down and remake the site. It's going to be much cheaper than 50k.
1988  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi was dumb on: March 19, 2022, 11:51:12 PM
He wasn't thinking about himself but the future of his project and chose the best possible way. No premine and no spending, which means 0 influence over the coin. Pattern of spending, selling, trading can allow people to trace you, find patterns, know what kind of a person you are, your choices when and how much to sell, what to convert into (maybe fiat, maybe a stable coin, if fiat then which one). Each of Satoshi's move would be misinterpreted by an army of journalists and analysts. The way it is is the best for both bitcoin and Satoshi.
1989  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is a game of quantity on: March 18, 2022, 11:56:08 PM
For example if you own 0.1btc whose value is $4042.79 at the moment of posting and the price eventually drops the panic shouldn't be the fallen price, it's best to sell at a lower high and buy back at a lower lows in all the concern should be to get more coin, taking advantage of the dip to buy more.

It's not a case for everyone. If you obtained your bitcoins for free, for instance through forum giveaways, airdrops, signature campaigns, you won't feel the need to sell when price drops.
Also it may not be as easy for you to sell and buy later because you now have clean coins that aren't in any way connected to your real identity. If you send them to an exchange to trade you will not only take the risk of moving them to a centralized operator but also expose yourself to KYC. Not to mention that selling your coins might be a taxable event.
I agree that it's all about quantity and it doesn't really matter at what price you decide to get your coins. The price only determines how long you'll have to wait before you're in profit. If you by an ATH it could be another 3 years, but if you buy the capitulation it could be minutes.
1990  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Drake became partners of the Stake Casino on: March 18, 2022, 11:23:23 PM

If he easily afforded that lose, he wouldn't be millionaire. I think every cent is very important for those who get the money in their bags. Just remember Mike Tyson and listen to his podcasts, the man who spent 600million and don't know where and why.
Where he do spend out his money?
Over the years, Tyson bought $7 million necklaces, lions and tigers, a $2 million bathtub, and numerous homes, among other items.
Tyson went on a spending spree that culminated in buying $4.5 million worth of cars and bikes in only 33 months.

Shopping spree in short.  Smiley
The main thing on these situations : "Its their money, so its their full rights on what they gonna do with it" its none of our business actually.

You can never have too much money. Once you get something there's always new things that you find interesting. People who have a lot of money aren't happy with little things. They start chasing after satisfaction and find out even the most luxurious things can't give it if you don't know how to appreciate them.

When it comes to Tyson, he failed to understand that most things you buy are a liability that require your money and attention to function. A pet of any kind needs food and care, a car needs fuel, cleaning, maintenance, a garden needs to be tended to, when you buy a big house it means you buy a cleaning lady, a gardener, pay bills every month.
Buying these things can drain your account much faster than you think.
1991  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Question why ukraine dont defend ? on: March 18, 2022, 11:04:25 PM
Ukraine wants to stay clean, hoping that the world will continue to help them. If they started killing Russian civilians it would look more like they are just as savage as Russians. When things remain as they are and only Russians are proving to be those children-killing savages, there's a chance that more and more Russian citizens will rebel and more soldiers will refuse to fight. It's also much easier to keep the morale high if soldiers know they are fighting thieves, murderers and cowards, not people whose families back in Russia were also murdered by missiles.

1992  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: March 18, 2022, 10:50:16 PM
Those are great fighters but again with this match, i guess it been a tough decision making for gamblers who support on this but for me I go for Ryan Garcia we know he so fast to take any action and counter and also he has good footwork for having a speed reaction and make a good blow to the enemy but again we cannot underestimate Emmanuel Tagoe because he got the IBO lightweight that boxer really dream to fight each other so we cant wait for this fight.

It's quite too soon for me to take bets on this fight, 3 weeks left before the fight and maybe there's still a lot of going to happen prior the fight. I guess I'll wait more for some tip-off Grin

Garcia's speed, power and capabilities is really an advantage in his side to any opponent he will face in his whole career and the fact that he used to train with Canelo's team is also a huge plus to make some smart move in the ring, I just hope that he will stay healthy because man, this boy really have a bright future. Back to this fight, Tagoe here is also a decent boxer so I doubt that this will be an easy fight.

If you think like this there's a lot of money to be made because the majority seems to think that Tagoe has slim chance of winning. I don't know him and his style so I can't say much but I'm sure people who know much more than me are taking these bets. At this point it's almost 87% of bets for Garcia, which means he's either greatly outmatched or underestimated.
I feel like this is mainly because of how Garcia is being promoted and that they're matching him with boxers with good record but who are slower than him to give him an upper hand.
1993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice! on: March 18, 2022, 10:23:57 PM
OP, I think you should include the trusted and known casinos site nowadays Cause what you are listing above only a few sites has already their reputation and trusted, there are many reputable casinos out there examples. Rollbit, duelbits,, Roobet, blackjack.fun. and I will choose these casinos cause there are many positive feed back from their players and not just positive they will mange their casinos well and if you won the transactions is smooth and fast.

Are you saying that only a few of the listed casinos are trusted? I don't agree. Also, what makes the casino you mentioned trusted and others like for example Stake not trusted? For instance Rollbit was created in 2020 while Stake is there since 2017. Does that mean that Rollbit is more trusted than Stake? You can choose whatever you like but you shouldn't say that only this or that casino is trusted. If any of them are not, there should be some serious accusations for us to read on the forum.
1994  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 17, 2022, 09:14:58 PM
I am afraid this war if it does not end in a month or two,  might turn into genocide on both sides.

Or a nuclear attack. Putin is desperate and people expect him to either blow up a nuclear power plant or use chemical weapons first and then eventually escalate to a small, intimidating nuclear strike, Hiroshima style.

Quote
Right now, Putin is warming up to the idea of bombing hospitals, kindergartens, churches, etc. where people are hiding.

Over time, he will give orders to wipe out whole cities as he did in Chechnya. He will not break Ukrainians unless he kills them all.

What are you talking about? they aren't really bombing anyone it's just lies by NATO Wink

Spokeswoman of Russian ministry of foreign affairs Maria Zakharova says Russia is not bombing any Ukrainian cities and despite all the fake videos by NATO, everyone will know the truth.

Good news. There were reports that Kadyrov is also in Ukraine. I hope that tool gets shot in the ass and goes home jumping on one leg Cheesy
I also hope there's something left of Ukraine and its historical monuments when all those mercenaries and terrorist groups are done killing themselves.
1996  Other / Meta / Re: Lock Russian section. on: March 17, 2022, 08:11:00 PM
...lock Russian section
Satoshi wouldn't want that...

Satoshi also wouldn't want an imposter CSW to roam around telling the world that he's the creator. Wink
Makes me wonder if he would want a scammer and a liar to call his coin Satoshi's Vision. I could go on...

Anyway, Satoshi aside, the section should stay simply because there are Russian speakers who don't even live in Russia. Banning them from using Russian language would be like banning Korean language because of Kim and North Korea and not giving a damn about all those people in the South.

Russians ppl from the street do obey Putler and go into Ukraine to kill innocents ppl.

Some of it is true because the majority of Russians support this genocide. There was even a poll where the majority said that Russia should attack the EU starting with the Baltic States and Poland, so many russians indeed are brainwashed, but we should never punish the minority because of the majority. We should be better than that.
What if you were a Russian who lives in the UK and people begun to treat you like shit all of a sudden because of something Putin did and you didn't even vote for him?
1997  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 17, 2022, 07:50:46 PM
Or another answer: terror tactics or just destroying anything big enough to group people, which, in my view, is the most likely possibility. It has been confirmed that there are a large number of schools across the country that have been destroyed, the "mistake" or the "false flag" options are just not realistic.

That's it and there are at least 2 reasons for that.
1. The West hit Russian citizens by banning certain goods and services so that these citizens put pressure on Putin, so he decided to do the same thing and put pressure on Zelensky by killing his people.
He thinks that civilian casualties may break the fighting spirit of the defenders.
2. Ukrainian soldiers are hiding in basements, they need to house wounded, store ammunition, missile launchers. More people killed in night bombings means less equipment lost the next day.
1998  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine: Zelensky signed the law "On virtual assets" today on: March 17, 2022, 07:28:12 PM
The question for you all: How many of you would really donate bitcoin to Ukraine?

Personally I don't support any government and we can't deny that the government of Ukraine was also corrupt to a certain degree. There are 2 strong camps in Ukraine. One supports the West and the EU, while the other Russia. For decades the country was ruled by a Russian puppet president, but that doesn't mean the current government is completely independent.
Therefore, I wouldn't give money to the government of any country, as I don't support their actions of taxing citizens and then sacrificing them like pawns in a game when the need comes.

I would donate to the red cross or buy products the people need most, but I wouldn't give the money to the government so they can do with it as they please.
1999  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2022, 07:06:07 PM
I got introduced by a friend who really didn't care much for Bitcoin just treated it like a novelty worth discussing. I went home and started doing research and at first wanted to mine, then I wanted to invest in cloud mining, we all know how that went... Wink Later I started trading, altcoins first, then Bitcoin, then after some time I came to understand how it all works and saw the benefits of holding.

We are all thrown into this space and try to make sense of it, but it takes time. If your first thought after joining the space was to buy and hold bitcoin, you are among the lucky ones who used a shortcut while the rest of us had to run a whole marathon.
2000  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russian Invasion of Ukraine[In Progress] on: March 17, 2022, 12:35:14 AM
I really don't see China getting involved in this war. Why they would need it. It's more likely that Belarus army will help them. Recently people heard explosions in few Belarus cities. Either it was attack from Ukraine or provocation from Russia.
And Russia can't send too much forces to Ukraine and leve other regions uncovered. And BTW, Ukraine is already making counter attacks.

For China it's better if Russia is weak. With the way China operates they want weak everyone, but they are also facing their own problems like tensions with Japan, Taiwan and the US. They also don't have enough natural resources to run their industry. They need a lot of oil and are trying to strike deals with various countries to get it. Recently they've been talking with the UAE.
Belarus doesn't want to help Russia anymore. There were articles that they are closing their airports to Russian military aircraft. I guess nobody likes the fact that Russians are bombing civilian targets and lying that they aren't. Even Lukashenko, who is an expert liar himself, had enough.

Russia lost this war because no outcome can be a win for them. Even if the government would gave them unconditional surrender the people wouldn't accept occupants who murder women and children and Russia doesn't have the manpower to hold Ukraine under a boot. Also, the world doesn't recognize Donbas as an independent country. Even if they manage to take it away from Ukraine somehow, this wasn't worth the lives of so many people and so much lost equipment. If they seize properties of companies, it's game over for them. They'll show the world that it's too risky to invest in Russia.
