1981  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Games Are So Much Fun on: January 03, 2017, 07:41:37 PM

Bitcoin dice game really awesome , I've make lot of miracles win in dice game, like 15k satoshi to 1.3 btc , 0.5 clam to 400 clam. Ain't it awesome?
But the problem is when your luck just turn upside down everything jist not right every bet seem damn rigged af. That pissed people off ! In dilemma of losing non stop for few weeks 😭😭

You should have secured your winnings.  Though I can say lightning can strike the place multiple times but it would be in rare occasion.  It seems that the idea of winning again and again is stuck in your mind and you can't seem to forget it.  I hope you come into your senses and put a stop on that Dilemma of your by quitting your aim of larger winning asap.
1982  Economy / Economics / Re: If bitcoin price is $10.000, will fiat be worthless? on: January 03, 2017, 07:16:17 PM
I don't think fiat will be useless but we are moving closer to a more digital society and a cashless system might come into place. What I can foresee is many governments and central banks eventually making their own digital version of fiat currency, that I do see as a possibility or very probable in my books.

This will more likely happen. Government adopting the idea of cryptocurrency and establishing their own centralized digital currency.  But it is still a long way from here.  I think fiat will always be used and Bitcoin will more probably a secondary option because Bitcoin will never be accepted as official currency of one nation.  Unless that nation leaders are actually insane Smiley
1983  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 03, 2017, 07:08:38 PM
People feel shameful at the time when they lose all of their money and do not have any wealth remaining with them and these are those people who are totally addicted to gambling and do not do any other work for earning money for their lives.
Well, that's something to be ashamed because in the first place you do not need to entrust your daily needs in gambling due to its uncertainty. Professionals can make a living in gambling but that is their job because they have the skills to win consistently, but for typical gamblers like us, we do not have that, so we should know our place.

I agree they should be shameful because of their lack of self discipline and concern for their family.  Being a gambler is something that should not be ashamed of as long as it does not affect one's life negatively.  But if you lost grip of yourself then that is something to be ashamed of, not only in gambling but on everything.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: January 03, 2017, 06:52:27 PM
There have been a lot of other alt currencies, but don't seem to have what Bitcoin does. I think down the road potentially, but as of now the focus seems to be on how to make Bitcoin better, safer and more accessible. We're pretty bullish on it.
They can't be bitcoin if bitcoin will be died and it will never replace by other cryptocurrencies because i think that bitcoin is the father of all alternative coins if theres no bitcoin it will be worthless for those altcoins. Bitcoin is good and very expensive to be change Tongue

This discussion has nothing to do about being the father of all cryptocurrency, but the usage and effectiveness of Bitcoin with regards to economic and technical use.

I think at this time there is no other currency yet that surpasses bitcoin effectiveness in economic scale.  Thought I believe in terms of technology, there is far better currency that bitcoin but popularity and economic wise  there is none that will make bitcoin obsolete at this time.  The possibility is still there but when is still unknown.
1985  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. Whats your prediction? on: January 03, 2017, 06:23:08 PM
With the current media hype on bitcoin, and new people coming in and some rumors about Pres. Trump stance with Bitcoin, I think Bitcoin price will stay at $1k this January.  The peak might probably be at $1200 because of the aim of Bitcoin people to reach the new ATH.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the last 24 hours on: January 03, 2017, 05:56:51 PM
Bitcoin Hype strength is renewed.  Coming from Op's post.  Bitcoin is getting more popular now, for the fact that it actually breaks $1000.  People excitement is also refreshed and recharged.  So I think Bitcoin price will continue to increase this year 2017.  Those articles are the proof Smiley
1987  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC will hit 2000 USD feb 17 on: January 02, 2017, 10:55:32 PM
How about $1,000 increase each month for 2017 as crazy as it sounds it is possible if we get a push from one of the major companies.

I would sell @9500k but I doubt this will ever happen. I would be happy if we hover @1000 for a month or two now so things can stabilize. But I expect a crash to 800 pretty soon.

$800, some predict that it will crash harder, but I think bitcoin bullish activity will still remain, so I guess it will get higher in price before ti stabilizes at around $950 - $1020.  But any increase in price is great it would be better if it actually hit $2000 on February.  It is probably impossible but Bitcoin is Bitcoin Smiley

Big Premine 250000 coins.

HealthyWormCoin - This is a SPOTs coin..

current block rewards = 0.046982 WORM per block

LOL, with short term high inflation rate, huge premine with small block reward for miners.  hmmm....  another ....? The short term high inflation will benefits the holder of that 250000 coins.  oopsss i saw this is moderated thread but well gonna try my luck but I think this post will be deleted.  Smiley

Anyway any plan for that premine stuff?

edit: sorry too lazy to download and listen to the audio

No, I'm not staking the 250k. If I was, then nobody else would ever be able to stake because I would have spiked the difficulty single-handedly and ruined the whole point of staking. They are for what is explained in the audio. I didn't mention that, so it's good you posted it actually

The premine is not staking. There are two addresses with 125k each in them

I would not delete posts with real concerns, such as yours, or differing opinions. It's only self-mod for a handful of people that nobody wants to deal with

Thanks you in  clarifying my concerns care to publish the two addresses?  It seems miners are mining this coins since the difficulty is really high now.  I will keep in  watch  this coin,  i like the name, reminds me of worms, turn base target/projectile games lol

1990  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: January 02, 2017, 10:05:52 PM
Im thinking more like 2020 and everyone will be using bitcoin in one form or another.

I don't even think that 2020 or 2022 is bitcoin is on total adoption by that time. 3 - 5 years from now on is still not enough to make the people use bitcoin. But thinking about its earlier years it went very far by now and it seems that many people are getting into it everyday. Still I don't think with those given years bitcoin is not going to be used by almost everybody.
although the number of bitcoin uses are increasing continuously, but still it is hard to believe that in 2022 almost all the people of the world will be using bitcoin at that time.
It is an unrealistic goal for a period of time of a few years. For this technology to have this kind of success, would take years and years in which people would have to spread the idea, so people would realize the importance of it. After a while, I believe the network effect would be very strong, and finally we would have a large percentage of the global population using it.
I think it is still impossible that on 2022 we will see almost all people will use bitcoin.. it can be still few because many alternative online are already well know used as payment online.. but the good thing in bitcoin the benefits of increases always depends in demand and supply and also depends on us the more people and users in bitcoin i think more price increase will come.. We are not fortune teller to know the future but this is my own prediction and the same as other thoughts that it is impossible everyone can use bitcoin in 2022..

It is obvious.  At the current state of internet connection worldwide.  We can see some places disconnected from the cyberworld.  Sad thing is Government don't care about the situation.  They keep improving the place that is already at its maximum potential, disregarding areas that actually needs development.  And this had been the disease eversince.  So I doubt that it would make a change in six more years.  This situation tells us that bitcoin being used by almost all people by 2022 is a wishful thinking.
1991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you regret spending money on this year? on: January 02, 2017, 09:54:29 PM
I don't regret any because I am spending my money wisely. I spend my money on my personal and family needs.  Any excess i save them either in bitcoin or in money.  As much as possible I don't want to buy bitcoin and get bitcoin thru my effort.  Then trade it with altcoin and possible exit with a profit.
1992  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Eryllium (ERY) New Coin on: January 01, 2017, 10:02:13 PM
Soon we are listing it and we have 5000 users in line who are going to start trading and Mining pool from first of Jan 2017 we had premined for a client who was investor in this project so anyone can buy for him. Its going to a big blast many people are ready to buy this coin as we had contracted  many companies for marketing and promotion.

ya thanks for the confirmation ;p

everything you said was just a pile of nonsense, and anyone with a brain can see that.

Plus its quite ovbious the country you hail from by your language, is that how you want to represent one of the recent fastest growing crypto nations ?

Take this garbage elsewhere, omg lol

Indeed, it is too obvious. Cheesy  The fact that this coin has hidden premine tells it all.  Why the need to hide the premine?  One purpose, to dump the moment it get to the exchange or something like that for quick profit and abandon the project.

Aside from that this one qouted by CjMapope is another proof that you are a big liar. Or prove this users you are talking about.
1993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make a successful Trade? on: January 01, 2017, 09:45:45 PM
the most important thing in trading is a patience. we must wait for the existing bitcoin price movements.
because when we right to choose when to buy and sell bitcoin, then we can benefit.

I agree just what happen to me this past week.  I was thinking of buying some coins, but was get excited of some news about the markets and add on service of that coin.  I was aiming to buy at less than 1k satoshi but well, i got impatient and bought at 1k+ satoshi then 2 weeks later the price drop to half of the price I bought the coin.
1994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PSB] Pesobit, Philippine-based crypto on: January 01, 2017, 09:42:38 PM
has anyone been regretting when they bought thousands of PSB when the price hit 2500 sats?  Grin I guess the value will still go below ICO price before it will bounce back.  I guess we're all going to make this hard for ourselves. I'll just decide to buy back when price will be 50 sats.

I should have waited for another 3  weeks  before buying PSB  Embarrassed.  I bought at 1k satoshi per satoshi and only if I wait a bit longer, I could have doubled my holding from the BTC I spent.  I am not whining  but just saying, patience always work.
1995  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best way to quit gambling for good on: January 01, 2017, 09:26:10 PM
Just like what I've said it is not easy if don't have the willingness to quit but if you do have the guts and willingness to quit. For sure you will say that it is easy to do with the help of the people who are surrounding you and ready to help you to quit gambling for real.

People that are addicted to gamble are mostly a failure in their life as well which means it will be hard for them to stop. You wont see any rich guy that is actually addicted to it, even when you see people flash up millions of dollars, doesnt mean that it is his entire life saving however it actually means that he has alot more than that to waste on gambling

Definitely, the moment people become addicted to gambling their life is a failure.  Though I would not thing that only failure become addicted to gambling, there are successful people that become addicted to gambling too.  I think it is more fit to say that most undisciplined people are addicted to gambling because they cannot control themselves from the urges to gamble.
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: January 01, 2017, 08:59:29 PM
Trading can't really be considered gambling.
Coin trading is an investment which is meant to earn from.
Gambling is entertainment and you should just assume you're going to lose.

but not everyone lose in gambling, there are so many experienced people who are earning a good money from gambling on regular bases, they are too much professional and experience people. they know all the tricks in gambling that can lead you to success.

There are people who are successful in venturing in gambling, yes, but there are only few of them among the millions who are into gambling.  I don't think there is actually tricks to win in gambling, well if you take being patience and smart a trick maybe.  But we all know that there is really no trick to win in gambling.
1997  Economy / Speculation / Re: is it time to start seriously talking about a $5000 BTC on: December 30, 2016, 10:19:30 PM
5000 is realistic if really _everything_ works well in the next years.

That means: if we manage to deal with the blockchain size problem (Segwit?) without a hard fork or another kind of community split, if there is more acceptance for online payments and remittances, if there is not too much volatility (speculator attacks, exchange dramas etc.), if there is no real competitor (there are some interesting alternative blockchains) and if there is not too much hostility from the politic sphere. It should also be noted that a open, liberal/libertarian dominating ideology favours Bitcoin's acceptance as an international currency, and the US particularly have moved in the opposite direction, unfortunately.

Myself I think we will hover some time more around $500-1000, with perhaps an occasional peak near the old ATH, but I think only when the blockchain/block size problem is resolved we can think of >1200$ prices.

Not years. Next year. Mark my words.

You must be living in a bubble or wishful thinking that shit to 1k to 5k, it is going down like a broken ship Cry. Probably betting the market is my thought. Good luck sir!

$1k to $5k in a single year?  I think it is not realistic. 3 or 4 years maybe.  But it is still a probability not an actuality.  Let Bitcoin breaks $100 at a time.  That is more real than jumping over a high wall.  Who knows we are at it before we know it  Wink
1998  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: December 30, 2016, 09:40:59 PM
Yes bitcoins will be used  by almost everyone in the world .and u l see eventually that the face of banks are changing a lot .well it is likely to happen that there will be no banks at all in the near future.
I hope that bitcoin will be more advanced and well known by many people. but for bitcoin can be used by everyone in the world is impossible. for now, the government is very anti to the bitcoin

Not only government is anti, many peoples are as well anti and in fear with Bitcoin. Some are less interested to know more or get indulge. But I believe by 2022 the view towards Bitcoin will change of many peoples. But yes it will be not quite possible to be accepted or used by everyone.
i think it is not the main reason, as people and governments will easily be convinced but the main problem is that in most area people are ignorant and having no facilities and knowledge of computer and internet, i think it will take a lot of time when such people can be educated and learn about computer and internet.

I agree on this.  Exposure, hands on experience, tools and gadget to use plus the internet connection are the factor why Majority of the population won't or cannot use bitcoin by 2022.  Remote areas are more likely disconnected to the cyber world because they are not reached by any internet provider.
1999  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: December 30, 2016, 09:33:16 PM
Its always better to invest money instead of saving. By saving, you just make your money idle, but by investing your money grows gradually. It would be better to invest in Bitcoins as its price is steadily increasing.

Investment is better than saving, but saving has its own importance like in future you need some money then your savings will help you out. And investing all earnings is an act of fool so invest 50-70% of earning  and save atleast 30% of your earning for future use. Agreed that savings don't grow your money while investments grow your money day by day.

Savings and investment are two different things with different level of importance depending on the person point of view.  Conservative people think that savings is better than investment because of the risk factor invovled in investment.  While, "adventurous" people  like to venture their money on investment because of the possible earnings it will give.  So I think answer varies on who will answer this question but for me both if can be done is better than choosing only one of them.
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your pain and problems in the bitcoin world on: December 30, 2016, 09:26:16 PM
I think i have to make myself used to this kind of pains.  Long confirmation time, pending withdrawal, no local merchant accepting Bitcoin.  Hacking of wallets from trading platform and exchange and the usual plummet of bitcoin when whales decided to cashout .
