21  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 4.45 million bitcoin untouched for 5yrs,do BTC community can retrieve in future? on: June 04, 2022, 10:44:14 AM
My questions is that ' is there any possibility that some point in time in future BTC community might decide something which can retrieve this lost BTCs?
No.

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more.  Think of it as a donation to everyone.

We can say that lost bitcoins are like token burning in deflationary tokens. Where token burning reduces the circulation of coins and that makes token demand to surpass token supply. There are 21 million bitcoins that will be ever generated, if out of those 21 million let's say 5 million are lost forever then we are left with 16 million bitcoin only.

Personally, I don’t think those results mean anything.
Most of the top footballers from Croatia, France, Belgium ... had a very difficult season and they are very tired and not ready for this competition.
Realistically, it is an irrelevant competition and coaches mostly use it to give young players the opportunity to play and to prove that they can replace older players, such as Dalic, the Croatian coach, did in the match between Croatia and Austria.
All those national teams and players will be completely ready when the World Cup comes.

The competition level in fifa World Cup is way ahead of friendly and league matches. I do agree that results of Natioanl leagues won't matter to extent that on there basis we can predict World Cup results. From EU side, my prediction is that only Germany has the ability to reach final.
23  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: June 04, 2022, 10:20:08 AM
This weekend, Sunday, Wales will face Ukraine for a World Cup spot. Ukraine won vs Scotland previously but Wales is better so I guess the game will be harder.
Bookies are showing almost similar odds, 2.7 Wales / 2.8 Ukraine with BTTS lower than not.. It seems to be very unpredictable and either team could win.

I wanna see ukarine playing this world cup for one obvious reason and that is they are war wounded. In last match against Scotland, predictions were that Scotland will win easily as ukarine players are not very much in touch with the game. But ukarine beat them with a decisive margin, I am expecting same in coming match against Wales.

From the EU side I would say Germany has most chances of playing final. Brazil and Argentina are my favorite for this worldcup. Its heartbreaking to see Messi in action in his last fifa worldcup. I wanna see Argentina lifting this worldcup, that will be best farewell to world's best footballer aka Messi.

they are getting old. Naturally, if they retire from the national team. and it's about time there will be a new, younger star for their country.
however, we know these two players are the best in the world. extraordinary talent that may be difficult to exist again in the future. both are magic people. I hope that even though they have retired from the national team, they can be in the coaching team to continue to pump up the spirit of young people in their country.

This is really sad but that's how life circle works. It's not the first time top footballers are retiring from national side, it happens in every worldcup. 1994 fifa worldcup was last worldcup of Diego Maradona and he left the world in 2020. This  world cup will bring joyfull moments that our coming generations will see.

I don't think Wales need sanctions because of Ukraine, so they will lose this match. Of course this is humour, but Ukraine will still play in the World Cup. From Great Britain to the World Cup, England is enough, and Ukraine should be helped everywhere and in everything.

I m still not clear whether Wales is independent country or part of England. But they have a chance to play this year fifa World Cup by competing ukarine. Ukarine were too good against Scotland (which too is related to England). I wanna see ukarine playing this year fifa World Cup.
27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How often do you transact in the real world with your bitcoin or digital money? on: June 01, 2022, 05:56:58 PM
Transacting with a friend is better than not using Bitcoin as payment at all, I suppose, but it's also sad that it's not possible to pay directly in shops. Where I'm from, it's also not commonly possible to pay with cryptos. I think most people at this point don't even prioritize the role of Bitcoin as a payment, and focus instead on it as a form of investment. As for me, I must admit, I usually sell some BTC for fiat to spend it. Other than that, I spend it on some donations to my country because of the war. At the current level of adoption, one's options to spend Bitcoin depend on one's location and perseverance heavily.

The country where I live has placed a complete ban on crypto including crypto mining. So there is no question of using Bitcoin here and I know this is the case in many countries. To use crypto as a mainstream payment method there are many issues in Bitcoin that need to be addressed like scalability, fee etc. For me Bitcoin is a heaven that allows me to receive funds world wide that otherwise was not possible.
28  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 01, 2022, 05:32:41 PM
Yes that's true, experience is actually the best teacher after all but I do understand them because I also have some friends that is doing the same stuff. Actually it's not like they are basing their lucks in mantra or beliefs because even them know that luck isn't based on things, they're just doing that stuff because that makes them more comfortable and it boost their confidence. Though it may be outrageous to see but eventually you will also get used to it, also it's not our business because that's how they play.

Going with mantra or beliefs is something very personal to somebody and its not our business since we are not accountable for anyone profit or loss in gambling. If you are gambling, then its better to be rational and see with your open eyes where to go. If you are losing then just quit unless you lose everything.
29  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: June 01, 2022, 04:30:21 PM
Gambling isnt prohibited in all religions that we do have in the world today. Some do allow it but of course it would be having some sort of warning or precautions on dealing on it much.
but there are religion which do really prohibits or ban or treat it as a sin.So it does vary on each person but in overall i dont see for religion to be that relevant nor effective
because any chants or prayer for you to believe that increase winning chance or making profits then its totally bullshit i would say.

Yes there are religions which have no clear cut instructions on prohibition of gambling like Christianity doesn't prohibits gambling but advices to stay away from love of money. If you are doing gambling then better do it on your own, payers or other such stuff won't help you anymore in gambling.

Ukraine and Scotland will compete in the play-off semi-finals of the World Cup tonight. The Ukraine-Russia war caused the postponement of this match. But how accurate is this encounter? I think that Ukraine, where the war is still going on will not be motivated in this encounter. Ukraine could have been exempted from the qualifiers for this reason. But that would also be unfair to Scotland. It would be better to find a different way for this.

Scotland v Ukraine: Tearful Oleksandr Zinchenko wants play-off win for suffering compatriot. Don't say that ukarine are not ready for this encounter, they are fully geared up to win this match. There motivation is to give some joyful moment to there people back home. The match will begin from two hours now.
31  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Recover old Bitcoin wallet on: May 31, 2022, 05:41:55 PM
As you saying you have lost info related to bitcoin account that means you don't have info related to wallet like its seed. A seed is the compulsory thing you need to recover your wallet in case you lost your device. Can you provide some detail like what type of app you user to access your bitcoin.
32  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Mantra After, while playing And Before You Gamble on: May 31, 2022, 05:36:07 PM
LOL Cheesy, did you guys actually win every bet when you cast those spells? Unlike you, I don't believe it, every bet must have a 50:50 percentage for wins and losses.

Things like that actually have no effect on gambling, I used to have sacred items before gambling, I believe that when I carry those items, I will be lucky. But when I gamble, instead of winning, I lose. After I saw several articles related to it, I realized that all these things are suggestions that make our self-confidence increase.

I dont know which religion you follow. But sacred items must be kept for good actions not for gambling or betting. I don't think gambling is allowed in any religion as every religion in the world teaches good things. Moreover, gambling is all about luck, there is no fundamental involved there.
33  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: May 31, 2022, 05:29:03 PM
Ukraine has got a lot of players from their national league in the national team - and these players haven't played football in a while. Nobody knows in what condition will they be - it is expected that they will not be fully ready in physical aspect.

However - they have an extra motivation to win and if they manage to score early while they still have the strength - maybe they will be able to defend throughout the rest of the game.

I do feel that Scotland is a big favorite here - but since I don't know in what condition the Ukrainians are it is really tough to call. I thought I'd bet on Scotland but I'll simply skip the game.

It will be Wales vs.Scotland or Ukraine. As you pointed out the condition of Ukarine players, they are not in best form to play there quifiers. Scotland may not be a big fish but they have advantage over Ukarine. Russia has already been kicked out of World Cup because of there invasion in ukarine.
34  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade your Bitcoin like Laszlo Hanyecz on: May 31, 2022, 05:21:13 PM
Exactly! Use Bitcoin as a currency, spend it, earn it, save it. Adoption is what can make Bitcoin grow.
Laszlo didn't spend all his Bitcoin on pizza, he had enough left. Bitcoin wouldn't be worth much if only a few guys would have kept all of it for themselves.

Advancements in technologies are rearly welcomed in the start. Every new technology in start was taken as for granted. I don't know whether the pizza guy has kept that bitcoin or he no more owns them. It is estimated that lots of bitcoin are gone forever and can't be used by anyone because of there owner negligence in the start.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: May 30, 2022, 02:03:39 PM
I think the third point is the reason why btc can't be adopted in every country, because the unstable bitcoin value is what makes the government don't want to know about bitcoin, but if btc has a flat value like fiat I think btc can be accepted, it's just that there's too much drama in it. government

Government don't want to listen about bitcoin whether it has stable value or not. The prime reason is governments are against anything that is not under there control whether its currency, News channel, journalist or anyother thing. Have you every wonder why governments are not against centralized exchanges like binance? since its very easy to monitor or control them.
36  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hard earned money - Busted in seconds on: May 30, 2022, 01:56:49 PM
That means that even gambling is banned on your country, you still happen to gamble at some moments of your life during this rule of law has been implemented. Well, going with the winners who knows how to stop.
IMHO, the correct terms would be disciplined and accountable. Any gambler who's disciplined and accountable will know when it's time to give up and just stop. There will be matters that should be addressed more importantly than going on if they know that they're already defeated for that.
It's not a total loss if you happen to stop when things are not working for you like most of your bets are dropping in losses.

Due to restriction in my country I would say I have not lost huge money till date in gambling. A decent or disciplined gambler must know when its the right time to stop otherwise he will keep on losing money. Its a universal fact whether we accept it or deny it.  Just keep an eye on your emotions and everything will be fine,
37  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador will be the richest country in the world in 8 years? on: May 30, 2022, 01:47:58 PM

Might say it was not in perfect timing as the prices jump down but I don't think it was a mistake, in fact, some investors buy above that price ($50k). But I'd never think that was an issue with them, we know El Salvador has the faith that Bitcoin will soon recover and they could grow their investment. However, saying they become the richest country in the world, I was thinking they will surpass the 1st world countries because of Bitcoin, because of crypto investment, then it was really impossible. I don't underestimate them but couldn't make it in crypto investment alone.

The point is we get too excited about bitcoin and not willing to be realistic when it comes to Bitcoin. Jumping into bitcoin market with huge capital without prior knowledge is mistake lots of people make and result is they end up losing money. The news coming out from El Salvador after this adoption are not positive.
Bitcoin Is Costing El Salvador But President Bukele Isn't Stressed.

Crypto is starting to lose its cool – just look at El Salvador
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets? on: May 30, 2022, 01:40:12 PM
Can electrum wallets be hacked? someone who has a dead electrum wallet and the assets in the wallet can't be opened because they don't have a key if they can be hacked then the asset can be taken by his wife and children, I am very sure that the electrum wallet cannot be hacked unless holding the key carelessly.

Actually he hacked my PC. I lost it since hacker use hacking techniques along with social engineering. Thats how I lost my huge savings stored in one electrum wallet. Since then I prefer to store my savings in centralized exchanges since that frees me from the worry of its security. If you have complete control over your coins then separate wallets are good choice.
39  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PROS AND CONS OF CRRYPTOGAMBLING. on: May 30, 2022, 08:34:27 AM
Only Muslim countries and other countries that have strict restrictions against gambling but the rest of the world gets a lot of profit from gambling industry. The only cons that I can see on gambling are when it was freely open in 3rd world countries which result in many life destroyed due to gambling addiction. People living on first world countries like US can easily get back on their feet with the proper support of their family since they have a huge financial capacity to recover compared to a poor country where jobs salary is very low and sufficient only for their own daily needs.

Monaco is the best example for moderating gambling while getting profit on it at the same time without involving there citizen on gambling addiction. This idea should be implement in poor countries to fight against gambling addiction.

There are many non Muslim countries also where gambling is strictly prohibited like Japan, North Korea etc. In gambling you can lose your all money in days or weeks and it doesn't matter how much financial cushion you have, you can easily end up on footpath after losing all your money. There are such examples in developed countries like USA and Europe. You cant say people living in advance countries can cope with gambling well.
40  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you saved your bitcoins in multiple wallets? on: May 30, 2022, 08:27:04 AM
I've saved 1 bitcoin in my wallet, I'm sure bitcoin will rise, right now it's very appropriate to invest in bitcoin because the price is going down, don't waste this golden opportunity to change your destiny in the future.

Yes that's very true that its the right time to invest in Bitcoin as price of bitcoin is at its lowest compared to its price in last couple of months. There is no best time to invest in bitcoin other then right now. As far as saving in multiple wallets is concerned, I consider exchanges like binance as bet place to save bitcoin as chances of theft are rear in that case. I lost huge savings due to hack of my electrum wallet, since then I am saving my money in exchange.
