21  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Dustdice.com ★ AVATAR + PM CAMPAIGN - Join NOW! on: November 17, 2015, 05:23:49 PM
RayBrady, unfortunately I need to leave this avatar campaign. My signature campaign has identified that me having a Dust Dice avatar is against their rules. I'm trying to work it out with them and it seems the best thing to do is for me to leave this campaign for now. If I'm able to rejoin, with the approval of other parties I advertise for, I'll be quick to contact you all.

Thanks!
22  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Did anyone use ANX debit card? (www.anxintl.com) on: November 17, 2015, 06:53:03 AM
Have you seen this thread reviewing several bitcoin debit cards (ANX is one of them)?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1001849.0

Just one post then he never came back here for any reply or feedback mean clicking this link is not good idea

Good point! Here's the link to ANX from the other thread...it's different from the link the OP posted.

ANX
https://anxpro.com/
ANX was established in July 2013 and is legally registered and based in Hong Kong. ANX is Bitcoin exchange platforms.
23  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about bitcoin and ransom on: November 17, 2015, 06:50:10 AM
If you use it for ransom, and the authorities subpoena 3rd parties to reveal your data, or they track the coins on the Blockchain or they trace it to the IP address with the nearest nodes accessed, you could be found. They can even subpoena services like mixers and gambling operations to trace those coins.

You would be better off, using cash drops.  Roll Eyes

That's good to know. Sounds like the local stories I'm hearing about police saying "just pay it" is because the police here probably don't know how to trace it OR the effort to trace it costs more than the $300-500 in ransom.

Anyway, has anyone seen this thread yet? -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1241607.0
24  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm dying while waiting bank transfer... on: November 17, 2015, 06:37:21 AM
You would dishonor Satoshi and your father, if you stopped commenting on this thread. You hate the banks and now you have a opportunity to show how bad they are, and then you give up when you are slightly offended by what someone commented on your thread?

This could turn into a practical example of how much better Bitcoin can be, compared to banks. It would even be better, if you could provide some proof. < Just blur out the sensitive information >  Roll Eyes

Who are you talking to exactly? The OP or someone else that has commented?

Owning Mahowny, is this it? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285861/

I didn't like Ocean's 13 much, but Ocean's 11 was great.
26  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: November 17, 2015, 06:16:16 AM
Paper money will stay forever.
Why? Because its easier to make than coins.

Agreed. BUT if Governments decide to end their paper format of currency Bitcoin will fill in the void of the anonymous currency.

Paying with cash is easy and anonymous...without it Bitcoin would thrive much faster.
27  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin buget on: November 17, 2015, 06:12:59 AM
Emibalca, did you do it? Did you buy the $120 worth of Bitcoin? How much bitcoin were you able to get?

Hang on to it...the one thing most of us here agree in is that you'll be able to make a profit on it in the future.

Cheers!
28  Economy / Economics / Re: I just made my 4th BTC on: November 17, 2015, 05:05:03 AM
I really know what to do with 4 BTC - you can send me 1 BTC, and then I will tell you exactly what to do with 3 BTC  Wink You can have constant profit all year ahead  Smiley

Yeah, just invest in this great new cloud mining company...we'll take care of you! daily payments! Hahha..just kidding Hero.
29  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm dying while waiting bank transfer... on: November 17, 2015, 05:01:52 AM
Still waiting? This wait rivals the length of time it's taking Coinut signature campaigners to get paid!

What a great a case study of one of the easiest benefits of transactions with bitcoin.
30  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Just one question about investors on: November 17, 2015, 04:58:23 AM
Do you have a business plan? Get one fast if you don't. Very precise, with all details regarding your future activity, and many numbers to make investors salivate. Don't forget to include a short bio of yourself, and everybody else involved in the project. When that is done, you may knock at the dorr of business angels.

This is great advice!

Investors are going to want many details of your business - what's the business plan? who's your target audience? who are your competitors? what revenue targets do you have? what costs will you have? what finances do you have? How can you sustain growth? And is it all realistic?

Did you post your project on the Projects board? Get any response yet?
31  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about bitcoin and ransom on: November 17, 2015, 04:47:20 AM
People are hypocrites. On one hand they argue that Bitcoin is not anonymous, on the other hand they all scream once someone asks for a random to be paid in Bitcoin. Make up your mind, it is either traceable or it isn't. It can't be both. Spoiler: It is traceable.
Isn't this worrisome? Have you heard of this in your area?
Not if you have developed common sense, otherwise yes. Unless you're a complete tool security (like many) nothing is going to happen to you.

Bitcoin is being used for elicit means, so what? Compared to the use of cash for elicit means it is very tiny amount. Cash is being massively used for ransom, drugs, financing terrorism and whatnot. People need to calm down, especially the media.

There isn't much the authorities can do in cases like that..
NSA anyone? Oh wait, I thought it was for the good of the citizens.  Roll Eyes

I can't tell if you're implying that I don't have any common sense or if you're calling me a complete tool or if you're just speaking generally.

How is any bitcoin transaction traceable - enlighten us!

And as a Staff Member, you of all people shouldn't be insulting others on this Forum...(if that's what you're doing). We're just talking, no need to get heated.

Looking forward to your explanation of any transaction is traceable. Thanks!

33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Taiwan Financial Regulator Says Bitcoin Isn't Banned on: November 16, 2015, 10:59:57 PM
Bitcoin is only banned or illegal in three countries - Taiwan has never been one and it's great to get this further confirmation.

Check this out -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Legality_of_bitcoin_by_country
34  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining difficult, what it depends on? on: November 16, 2015, 10:57:42 PM
Hi, what does depend the mining difficult? By the number of people that are mining?

In a future, when mining will end, or will be less earning... Does the actual big mining farm close giving to citizien back the power of mining?

It's possible that mining may go back to the "citizen" as you call it, at the near ends of the available coins to mine...but only if the price appreciates such that mining bits has a worthwhile value to people.
35  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius MS66 Bitnickel S2, Error coin, and 2013 1 BTC on: November 16, 2015, 10:53:01 PM
Looks like Casascius prices are coming down...an ask for a variety of coins at only double face value and then a bid that confirms an even lower price!

This should be interesting...

Casascius prices are coming down slightly. In my opinion it is due to slightly higher grades coming back from ANACS skewing the price to grading ratio. This being said and with all due respect to Blazed but I do not think his bid is representative of the price that either of those coins has sold for lately.

Nope, my price was a lower end offer and not meant to represent current market prices. I am willing to come up more on them.

Blazed never pays marketprice Smiley

Haha, but if he's the only one making an offer the Market is going to meet it's maker!

To the OP, sounds like there's some room for negotiation...which is a very good thing!
36  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / What about bitcoin and ransom on: November 16, 2015, 10:49:18 PM
There are stories about hackers that will hack your computer, steal your information, and then demand $500 or something...paid in Bitcoin.

We all know why Bitcoin would be use, the lack of trace-ability.

But sometimes the authorities are just suggesting to pay the ransom because they have no way to track the money or the person via the payment.

Isn't this worrisome? Have you heard of this in your area?

Thanks for the notice!
38  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL: What is the reason hard forks require broad consensus? on: November 16, 2015, 10:38:07 PM
Food for thought... Why Meni Rosenfeld doesn't fear contentious hard forks:

http://fieryspinningsword.com/2015/08/25/how-i-learned-to-stop-worrying-and-love-the-fork/

It absolutely needs to happen. I think the debate was about does it need to be forced now or can it be arrived at organically, once it is really needed.
39  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Blockchain technology can stop governments theft from its people ! on: November 16, 2015, 10:33:42 PM
The blockchain can do even more than this!

The blockchain can keep ANYONE from theft of a transaction (or at least severely diminish it).  Not only can it help eliminate theft it can also help fight corporate fraud (think Enron), transaction mistakes (think being charged a fee that you didn't earn or deserve), audit mistakes, this cost of doing business!

It's all very exciting.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to make use of flexibility of the rate of Bitcoin and use it to earn btc on: November 16, 2015, 10:26:12 PM
Posts like this are weird.

Some Newbie posts a really easy question for anyone to answer (no bitcoin knowledge required.) I feel like we're being trolled or something.
