so what is the news here ?
What news? We donated all the funds we had gathered...we wanted to upgrade the software but it's taking longer than we wanted originally. Sadly we only have limited support on that end. I'll update the thread when there are actual news.

You really have nothing else to do, right? If it pleases you, it's fair to say we didn't do all that well...happy now? I'd suggest you go buy yourself a life mate.

The banking info looks fake and you screwed up on the date. lol 270 EURO donation : March 6, 2015 Last trade : March 8, 2015 It's not fake, Billy paid with money from his account. We can post more evidence if you want, there's nothing to hide. We aren't particularly proud of a 503 euro donation...

All donation funds sold and sent to Save The Children IT. See first page for the receipt and screenshot.

Thanks for the comments guys. I've been really busy with my job, and other personal details going on recently, and haven't been able to update the thread as much as I would have liked. We're discussing an update to child, and continuing the selling of the donation funds. I'll update the thread once we have figured out the changes we want to see on the next wallet release. Stay tuned for more.

Yet people did...because greed was bigger than prudence and common sense. This whole pre-order game has always reeked of scam, but well. I had a share in one of the Jupiter's first batches, got ROI and never ordered any ASIC again.

Heya Just FYI that we're mining CHILD on our multipool: www.xpool.ca and miners have the option to keep their CHILD when it's mined just by entering their CHILD address in their user settings. Cheers! Thanks for letting us know. I'll add it to the OP.

Cross-posting this here:
What I don't get, is that if I'm mining at Nfactor 15, N is 65536. Why does rawintensity 7168 NOT work with a buffer-size of 3800 at lookup-gap 16?
One block is 128 bytes. 128 * 65536 / 16 = 524288 bytes per thread.
524288 bytes / 1024 / 1024 = .5MiB.
.5MiB fits into 3800MiB 7600 times: 3800 / .5 = 7600.
Therefore, max rawintensity without hardware errors SHOULD be 7600...
This works with my 280X - 290X, nope.
I've had the same mysterious issues with yacoin mining before...Thirtybird should know more. I couldn't figure it out on the 290s, but 280x and older (or cheaper gpus) did work.

Good to see progress is being made, a honest dev team and a strong community can make a big difference. Glad to be part of this, but been slaughtered by work schedules lately. Keep up the great work Armis!

Sure, I'll get you those. The receipt is digital but I can ask for a print. Stay tuned.

We got news, good and bad...
We finally reached the 1 BTC mark, and as promised we sent the funds to Save the Children.
The bad news is, BTC's price suffered, and the donation is not what we'd want to see, but it's a good way to start. Hopefully the bitcointalk community can prove it has a heart, and start collaborating more with good causes like this or the EMC2 joint efforts.
See the OP for the receipt scan and Save the Children It letter.
good stuff, thanks a lot! Thanks for the comments! I'll update the thread again soon, for now we continue selling the airdrop.

I'll add those to the OP, thanks!

Thanks!
I'll have that checked, thanks for making me notice. Been through a lot lately, IRL.
Billy just announced me that he is close to 1 BTC in sales, and I got my internet connection fixed today. Browsing from my phone on spare moments until now.

I'm trading, trying to raise some funds (equities/forex). Will post a donation soon.

We will participate in this effort, I'm having some internet problems fixed tomorrow. Sorry for the lack of updates, real life caught up with me.
Wallet was syncing properly on my end, I'll give that a look.
As for volume, we are close to 1 btc in the donations fund. Seems like a pitiful amount to send now, but we will do as we said, and post proof of the first actual donation to Save the children when we reach the 1 btc mark.

Risky bet, buying anything because it's cheaper than before. It doesn't mean it won't get cheaper...define cheap? Good luck with Yacoin though, it certainly deserves a more subtantial market cap.

Expect significant progress
Thanks for the comments, we have few community supporters right now, but we want to send the donation funds asap. Bitcoin's exchange rate is starting to worry us.

Thanks Armis, we will look into that.
I started working on the project again, we had a meeting over skype with Billy last night.
I'll post updates asap.
