I'm currently mining jackpotcoin, and buying coins with the proceeds...but I might go back to straight yacoin after N 15 is here.

I'm really interested in this...congrats!
So, in a nutshell, to get things started I need the fcn wallet and monero or qcn. Then open both daemons, and it'll solo mine or can I pool mine qcn while mining fcn solo?

It's not the most profitable for cpu atm, but it's always decent at best. Monero's up there.

I'm looking for something to monitor a few W7 + vertminer mining rigs remotely (temperature, speed, etc.)
Any advice?
i used bitvise to set up ssh server on my rigs to log in remotely. i dunno if there is something better? I'm using a TeamViewer, but I need something to see all information from the rigs consolidated in one place mobilepcmonitor.com is good.

BitLeu will be part of txtCOINSnow mobile cryptocurrency payment gateway starting from July 2014 !
Visit our new website http://BitLeu.org/ for more details ! We will let people understand what is the meaning of that. With txtcoinsnow, will allow mobile phone users to trade/sell cryptocurrencies using SMS-es. No need of a smartphone, Android or anything else, no need of wallet installed. This will be a great way to address the spread of BitLeu to the population and allow the people that don't know anything about computers to trade or buy things using BitLeu, without installing a wallet. Txtcoinsnow will also act as a merchant. Everyone is using mobile phones so this method of payment/trade will have a chance to become very much spread to the population. That's really interesting...wonder how exactly will it work.

Hello,
Anyone tested on old GPU like HD-5970?
try it out works on 6970/50 While it may work, pre GCN cards are bad at primecoin mining, there's no way around it. R7 240 is just as quick as a HD5870/6970. VLIW isn't optimize to do primecoin mining. Well, I have 3 of those and an r9 290...might as well try.

What i see on coinmarketcap is very different from exchanges. Not only cinni. Strange. Looks like coinmc is frozen.
Probably a problem with the block explorers they use. :/

Seems like people want some coins...good price to buy in apparently.
Good luck if you buy some more.

Yacoin is pretty awesome, the coin parameters and community are brilliant. It's a shame it isn't more popular.

Wish I had more btc to buy vert atm today bought from here https://localbitcoins.com with money and take advantage of low prices on VTC I'm already a profit , but I not to sell my coin - VTC is very valuable HOLD!!!!! Yeah, but I don't have any more btc I can spend on trading. I try to limit myself to 25% of my total coinage, since I might need to cash out some btc for bills. may not be I expressed properly today I bought BTC from here https://localbitcoins.com with EUR and then I buy VTC at low price I know, but I'd eat into my groceries $$$ if I did that heh

I think Nvidia might have a chance at xpm mining...would love to be able to mine it on the 750 ti's with ccminer.

You guys sure this miner doesn't submit fake shares to offset the increase in hash-rate?
Because I have no idea how it mines 40-50% faster while using 10% more electricty.
this alone make it smell like a big scam, 50% more hash, but 10% more consumption? nah i'm not sold on this you guys should watch your profit, maybe fake shares are submitted Could be real. For a similar example, for Quark algo I get almost 100% faster hashing on 6xxx series cards with Smelter than SPHminer. As spoetnik said, it's easy to fake shares...it happened with quark and it'll happen with x11 too. Heck, look at myriad, it had tons of problems with fake shares at the pools.

biggest issue and working against a high price is that up to 10000 CURE have to be bought each day and that wont change the next 4 years
instead of halve rewards all 4 years u could reduce them 25% each year
this still will be a hard first year
but better a hard year than hard 4 years
we did a similar change with diamond which had original a 8 years coin rollout plan with 1500 dmd each day
we changed it and rediced main coin rollout phase down to around 1 1/2 years and replace a lot of POW as major coin rollout mechanism with POS
for CURE u shouldnt reduce the folding component but u should rethink the sha256 mining part and reduce the reward for that a bit and increase pos instead
u dont need big sha256 hashrate to secure network if u have a hybrid POW/POS coin concept
PPC's method or Yacoin's is the best, as stormia mentioned, full pos or less incentives for PoW mining don't work so well because you depend on every coin holder keeping their wallets open for minting, which never happens massively. Won't happen for now, since the 30 day wait period isn't done.

From my understanding, the memory is already on the GPU itself. All the work is suposto be done on the GPU. That's why I can run the X1 PCIe slots, it's not transfering anything to/from the GPU other than some key values between the pool and the GPU. Why would you need any host-side memory other than to run the OS and the small footprint needed by the mining software?
I thought the same way, but it's simply not the case...you need to load stuff on the computer's ram first it seems before loading the gpu vram. Wish I had more btc to buy vert atm

If using Windows, get a second 4gb stick...4gb is enough for linux, barely cuts it for win.
Not kidding, it won't work...I run both win and linux mining rigs. (curecoin needs win for now :/)
Just 2 gigs of ram on both of my rigs (win7x32) and vertminer runs excellently. No errors, no stales. So this is just a bs about needing more ram. 2gb is BS...what was your hash rate wise guy? (and what gpus) Why it's a bs if its working here flawlessly? 2x6780 and 2x5770. Was 1000 kh/s with scrypt, now 480 kh/s. Seems legit. Using 1.5.3 of vertminer, and yeah 1.5.2 gives only hw errors. there you have it. 2gb isn't enough for a 3gb card like the 280x. I'm not talking fud, I manage multiple mining rigs... since 2012.

I agree, it has superior traits but some of the specs and the IPO, as well as the lack of promotion and web development at launch set it back slightly. I hope it picks up more steam further down the road, but it would need a bit of community and dev team effort.

(and what gpus) I'm running on 4gb on my 4x7970 rig at 370kh/s each and 2gb on my 4x5850rig at 170kh/s each. It's all about tuning. 4gb for a 280x rig is ok, but 2gb is impossible. I tried, and had to settle with multiple threads and lower tc, which slowed it down.
