201  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: 1155GH(+OverClock Potential), In Stock $0.319/GH & 0.51W/GH on: June 08, 2015, 07:30:54 PM
In the world of Bitcoin, some common English words may have a different meaning:

New = May or may not have been run for weeks by the manufacturer. Probably owned by the manufacturer.

Used = Probably run for weeks after shipped by manufacturer, who ran it for weeks.

Per-Order = Early investor that thinks they are a customer.

Refund = Not completely clear this word exists (e.g BFL)

A lot of folks just bent over and took it and then thanked them for another. All mine were new (no dust, grime, or other BS, but that was way back.) Nobody should take that crap from any business even if it is bitcoin-related. The only reason that people do and don't fight it is simply choice. You either choose to accept the crap or you don't.

ok so since your too busy fighting with the forums and not showing any proof of this product i guess we are all right to think you are a fraud

show us video of this product in productions?
show us pictures of this products insides?
give us real evidence of your product in working condition

don't come posting rendering of images and asking pre orders of a product that only exists cause you and your images say so....
NOT GOOD ENOUGH..........

until i see real evidence this is a big fat FRAUD...........

This person thinking that no anyone make fake videos, Wrong ideas,,,  No anyone can analyze by watching video either product scam or original..

Seriously, go away and find a job instead of wasting our time with this nonsense. The only thing you're doing here is entertaining us with how bad your scam is.

 - you just clean the dust off them and send the broken ones out to customers waiting for their bonus rigs Grin

FTFY - they won't bother to clean. That's imply respect for the customer. KnC ain't about that.
207  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitHashMiner 10TH/s Bitcoin Miner on: February 04, 2015, 05:00:22 PM
They've been so hard at work rendering their image they've only just recently had enough time to register their website:

208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: February 04, 2015, 04:40:48 PM
These will always be King of Suck imho. Here's something to chew on - knowing how greedy Scam Hole really is, if KfC were making money hand over fist why would they need anyone else's money? They're obviously not making enough to sustain themselves and have found a much larger pool of fools to con.

I don't know if there will be any kind of justice served in the future after the long con runs out with these clowns. If you look at the other hardware groups that scammed us all silly not much justice got served there. Maybe there will be a reckoning one day long in the future, i dunno.

What saddens me most about the whole thing is the loss of innovation in this space now. That was the fun part and now it's been closed off to us. I keep looking at bitmain and sponds to do something groundbreaking and keep hoping there will be someone that takes this to a new innovative level, but I just don't see it.

I miss that excitement and the adventure that this whole thing spawned. I hope we see it again someday.

To anyone who wondered where the mega hashing of KNC is going on :

https://www.google.nl/maps/@65.8069164,21.687911,586m/data=!3m1!1e3?hl=en

Next to the hydro plant so they must have really cheap power.

If only we can get some thai cowboy miner engineering and light it up:

211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, 1155GH, Jan 8th shipping [Sales Open] on: December 30, 2014, 03:02:24 AM
It is embarrassing the demo unit arrived half dead.
Since it's a demo unit, it was surely tested before shipping. Not a good sign at all...
I've got a bad feeling about S5 B1's... Fuck that's bad. Surely it was merely "damaged in shipping"

ಠ_ಠ

My S5's just landed in Cincinnati, so with any luck, I should have my own review up by Wednesday.

other than Pat has anyone else gotten any antduds?
212  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, 1155GH, Jan 8th shipping [Sales Open] on: December 29, 2014, 02:46:26 AM
this page warms the cockles of my old heart   Smiley good to see BMT and SP-T discussing things and acting together.

Yes, it's good for the community to have at least 2 decent manufacturers.

sadly, that's it. We don't have any more honest outfits out there. I have mad respect for both of them for making quality products and providing good support. My interactions have always been professional and pleasant with them. Kudos to both of you. Smiley
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How many people pay with bitcoin really ?! on: December 27, 2014, 06:55:21 AM
I've used it for peer-2-peer transactions, bought mining gear with it, appliances, computer equipment, etc. It's the best. I've even had a payment dispute with a store and it was settled without issue thanks to the blockchain. I really like it as a payment system and hope it really catches on. I LIKE being my own bank and not having to rely on poor security practices of businesses on losing my coins.
214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, 1155GH, Jan 8th shipping [Sales Open] on: December 27, 2014, 05:42:29 AM
Against my better judgement, I pulled the trigger on two B1 S5's and have received shipping confirmation.

Here's genuinely hoping this launch is smoother than the S3 launch.

Cheers, Bitmain.

I used beer as my excuse last S3 purchase. Haven't consumed enough to cloud my judgment enough to get back into mining. LOL. Good luck with yours, Xian. I hope they work out well.

Did they get rid of the purchasing 2 requirement?

I think they did. Last I checked you could order 1 with batch 2 or 3.

For the best heat dissipation wouldn't it be more efficient to have the fans go bottom to top since the chips are releasing heat at the top?
217  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, Shipping on Jan 4th [Sales Open] on: December 25, 2014, 03:28:21 PM
'absolutely promising chip in world'...

this is yet another long scam by serial scammers

!!BUYERS BEWARE!!

be advised these scammers are well known to employ Multiple shills & sock puppet accounts promoting their dangerous hardware & exploitative vaporware

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYMD_W_r3Fg

What is the scam? I realize that the string design is a big risk and the price is too high for current difficulty. But people should  know this and if they choose to buy that is their risk. Right?  Huh

Just ignore him. He's angry at Bitmain because an admin deleted some of his posts.

that's just vintage edgar. grumpy ol coot Smiley Merry Xmas!!

My engineer put the SP20 through a tough quality test.  In the end he seemed happy.

I like your plan.

network diff is stagnant for a two months already +-1000 miners won't make much difference so this is not a problem.
btw bitmain whats your response to THIS ?

A small FYI: The requirement is 2 units minimum!

That's typical for them. I see you are doing the same with your deal: ***Legendary Holiday GroupBuy***: 2xSP20 for just $1,000 - free shipping
220  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S5: The New Standard, 0.51J/G, Shipping on December 27th on: December 23, 2014, 04:08:13 AM

buy and hold:
1. bores me to tears-I have much more fun trading stocks on a stock market, so mining is clearly more fun.
2. mining is a stretched out affair, essentially you also buy and hold if you are covering your miner and electricity cost  with $$, but accumulate bitcoin. You get much better averaging by mining vs buying in lump sums.

+10

You can also resell used miners on Ebay and recoup some of your investment. The resale value of most mining gear is actually pretty decent assuming the hardware is not junk or completely obsolete.

I sold all of mine and came out pretty well. Oddly enough the S3s came out higher than the S3+ upgrades. I guess the shiny case is mo betta in their eyes.
