Too much ... usually such tokens do not take off in price Think long term, TBH, me personally am not interested in investing in any ICO's. Im happy just sitting on my portfolio of coins. But COMSA will be very valuable to the NEM ecosystem. Dont invest in an ICO if you want a quick return, but long term ICO's such as COMSA will pay off.  |

Great to read about the ICO platform and the upcoming Catapult launch.
This will be a great time for NEM holders. Top 3 coin by the end of the year I think.
i‘m really looking forward to both. Very happy with all the Development, conferences and community. My #1 crypto project Haha, I do not think NEM can pass over Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Litecoin and Dash, it need to has a reason can convince traders absolutely, a temporary pump not enough to make the total market cap of NEM increases more and keep for long time. LOL seriously?? If a BTC fork can hit $10 billion out of nowhere, im pretty sure NEM is worth far more!  |

Just watched your vid after posting about comsa above. Well spotted on the Bankera dump so Comsa might not be as promising for NEM as i thought. Also i suspect the NEM foundation has been drip dumping for some time. How else are they paying for all these blockchain centers etc.
They have a bot on polo im pretty sure and the i believe it also supports the price if comes under too much pressure. 5k seems to be the floor
I know all this should pay off long term but the NEM market is so thin now that it cant handle that kind of sell pressure.
I assume they've done some OTC deals as well. There was that Japanese exchange that bought a large amount. Nothing I've seen about Bankera looks realistic to me. Everyone other than the people proposing it should be standing well back from it until it proves itself. Insta dumping isn't very professional either, though of course they'll have many a bill to pay and plenty of greed to service. Isn't Bankera run by Spectrocoin exchange? I thought they were a pretty legit company. |

Good timing there. Nem is losing less than any of the top 10 today which i suppose is a positive.
NEM is holding its own astoundingly well. It's only lost 3 cents from yesterday. I expect it to recover by tomorrow. I think the Chinese and South Korean crackdown on ICO's will help COMSA and thus NEM. COMSA is the first attempt I'm aware of to create a platform for legit vetted ICO's based on existing businesses to avoid all the scammers. NEM foundation saw this coming IMO. FYI, all ICO legit or not are officially banned in China atm. COMSA is not exempted even if they have legit business. While all none ICO coins like NEM is expected to recover quickly. Even if china ban people from investing in ICO's, its virtually impossible to police. Only real legal issues would be if COMSA was based in china itself. |

Ok, so Catapult is a new core architecture that will power the public (NEM) and private (Mijin) blockchains.
But I'm still having trouble understanding what that means at a deep level.
Basically what I want to know if Nem as in XEM, is still going to be the coins used. There's not going to be a new coin, like with NXT and ARDR.
I feel that it's probably a noob question and everyone here is face palming.
Basically C++ is a much better codebase to work with over java. Essentially the core has been rebuilt in C++ and will replace the existing Java core. This will make it more efficient and resource friendly than ever before. |

not much going on in nemland in the way of news or announcements.. I really hope they have some huge partnership in the works or something to stoke up interest and give this coin the shot in the pants it needs to really take off.. August is halfway over and still no word on catapult. I don't think that in itself will be a big shot pricewise, maybe it will maybe not, but personally I don't think it's likely to get people all excited and bring a bunch of money into nem..

I like NEM project, but I just fear that with MasterNode and POI, coins will be more centralized to just a number of people. Not good for long-term development
Actually the opposite will happen. Every time the price suddenly increases some supernodes cash out and take profit. If the number of supernodes decreases too much they will lower the required balance to fund one. This increases distribution of XEM and thus increases decentralization. The more the price increases, the more early adopters will cash out increasing the spread of distribution. The higher the price goes, the harder it is to accumulate as well. I also think that PoS is superior to PoW because to participate in the 'shared-trust' of the network, you have to buy in from an existing stakeholder unlike in PoW where you only need to acquire mining hardware. It would be incredibly difficult to secure enough XEM to successfully the attack the network. In PoW, it would be very hard to detect a bad actor who is accumulating or researching advances in mining hardware to attack the network. I already see articles that some areas are banning crypto mining due to power shortage. This would be a big issue if we want mass adoption. And rightly so too. Mining crypto uses ridiculous amounts of power which really is a total waste of energy to do such a simple task. |

Anyway $1 should be easy, because XRP and ETH both hit 10 billion this year.
it's not easy to get your target.but still have chance to.... . $5 or more will be very possible long term, i think $1 is very possible within next 12 months. |
