xem have lost more than 50% of his value, with no sign of recovery but breaking support lines
but the main thing is: are the devs at least still alive ?
"catapult for summer 2017" is an old legend from 2016. have there been any real news about this ?
Actually a lot of us are original stake holders who have seen our holdings gain 5000% value so far this year and over 1 million % since we bought our stakes. Not sure what chart you are looking at that shows 50% decrease in value but I'll just guess you're a FUD slinging troll. You'll notice pretty much all dev stakes worth up to 9 figures have not been touched which speaks volumes about the confidence they have in what they are working on. 14000 sat to 7000 sat is a 50% decrease No it is not, because in the same time Bitcoin goes up more than 100% ! yes, and 14000 was not any "level", it was a peak for few moments. Maybe 12000 can be treated as some high level... Yes quite true, fiat value is more stable, dont look at BTC price. Besides, why would anyone complain considering we were only 1 cent about 6 months ago. Upside, is that supernodes are cheaper.  |

This is my point of view, you do not have to agree on any of these points. Feel free to prove me wrong. See you in August.
Prove what wrong? All you did was tell us this is a bull market. We knew that already. You offered no reason why NEM specifically was going to rise more than other coins. Nobody is saying NEM isn't going to rise, but your reasonings can be applied to literally any altcoin. NEM has way more fundamentals than all the other shitcoins getting pumped, hence why we are currently in the top 10 and have more room for growth. |

Is there any short XEM history/detailed post or maybe some article? I'd like to learn more about this project. I know it was airdropped to this forum members ~3.5 years ago, right?
Anyone? I'd like to learn the history of the project before investing, this is very important for me. There are many here that will fill you in, but yes it was airdropped to many members, some paid nothing for their stakes. It cost me about 15K NXT for mine, which was about $800 at the time. All I can say is that they aimed to create a solid blockchain, there was no hype around it, other than they intended to build a scalable and solid platform. They delivered on that, and thats why NEM is where it is now  |

Why is it constantly losing value?
i do not see any value loss, it's almost at it's all time high. actually i wouldnt be surprised if we could see 10 cents before the next race 10 cents will never be, especially after the release Catapult, as well as Ethereum will never be 50$, the more innovation in the company, The more advertising captures the world, the smaller the pullback back in price. Only the beginning. I talked with many professionals. They do not have extensive information on NEM. People should be aware of the benefits of NEM technology. It is necessary to allocate money from the fund Nem, to an advertising company.This is what NEM lacks. It is necessary to do it now! I think the nem team is doing great so far concerning the big blockchain meetups etc. It is just lacking for the mass There are lots of talks behind closed doors that we are unaware of too. No bit trash talk hype with this project. |

First let me say: I really like the NEM project and before I invested some month ago I did a lot of research. I think we are really looking into a bright future with NEM (maybe with better marketing, that could even be brighter), anyway what makes me wonder is the very low volume for a coin ranked on #4 based on market cap.
I am not sure what could be the reason for the everyday low volume and if that is a good or bad sign, personally I would like to see a higher volume, because than prices are more stable and it needs more capital to move the price. Not sure if that is a correct conclusion.
What are you thoughts about the reason for the low volume?
Low volume is due to no selling pressure due to miners. |

stop supporting those who have been ruining the world for 99% of the population. Plenty of opportunities to make money yet you support the ones who rob you.
Ripple is not even a blockchain and even goes against what blockchain means.
Grab some Stratis instead or golem or Nem. SO many good coins with valid tech and usecases other than that shitple.
I know and I understand. And Ripple is also trying to explain that they are decentralized but as usual I won't just easily believe on single sources especially if it came directly from Ripple team. Did you stop using fiats now in your daily life? Don't you have a bank account? If all yes then that's awesome. If not then all you need is to mirror yourself. NEM and Stratis I got 'em too. 90% of my monies are in crypto already. i understand your point, i truly do. Anyway, what ripple is doing isnt so revolutionary as people claim it to be and banks can do it on their own soon if they want to without ripple. Im not blaming anyone for believing, i just see so many other better opportunities and feel sorry for people to invest in a coin that thr company has close to 70% of total supply. It is not a blockchain and will hardly ever be decentralized. Lets see what happens. Do you know who is the founder of ripple? I still couldn't bring myself to buy any ripple - for some reason it doesn't sit well with me... Ripple is not even a blockchain, NEM will be the next in line to knock XRP down. |
