202  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Lightning Network Casinos on: March 19, 2024, 08:38:51 PM
Hi,

I have compiled a -> Bitcoin Lightning Casino list. Deposits are almost instant and fees are quite low, so the Lightning network represents a pretty nice option.

Feel free to share it here as well, as long as the casinos are reputable and trustworthy.

The downside -> there aren't too many crypto casinos which accept Bitcoin deposits via the Lightning Network, so I would kindly ask you to let me know if you've heard of any other brands (that are not already on the list). Thanks!

You're absolutely right. Lightning Network options are limited everywhere, not only at online casinos.

Also, overall, what's your experience with BTC Lightning as a payment method in betting sites? Would you recommend it?

I can't say I have a whole lot of experience, but I've tried LN transactions a few times. The advantages are undeniable. The biggest drawback is that using Lightning Network can be a bit trickier than using regular Bitcoin for some folks, imho.

Thanks for letting me know, what is the meaning of IMO?

"IMO" and "IMHO" are abbreviations, basically internet shorthand for "In My Opinion" and "In My Humble Opinion".

Speaking of which, here's another interesting topic link that you can bookmark:

~
project has been announced and even announced by the Binance Twitter account

Can you prove this? Can you please show us that tweet.

here you can see: https://twitter.com/BNBCHAIN/status/1751875386793980249

Update: Various partners have entered and collaborated with the meson network, one of the biggest being OKX Ventures and Aws (Amazon). I think this is because Depin's narrative is very promising for the future.

Thanks. So that was from the BNB Chain Hackathon 2024 Workshop. I couldn't find it.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Get one btc right away or 5 btc with a bet? on: March 16, 2024, 07:54:44 PM
I don't think there's a person will regret to choose one BTC because they will use the money to buy many thing that they wants, so they won't think the need to search more money.

The main issue I see with this whole thing is that the stakes are too damn high, literally!  I mean, we're talking about betting 1 whole bitcoin here! Even just taking the guaranteed 1 btc prize sounds awesome.  But if you think about it, it's still a freaking lot of cash and  a single bitcoin is nothing to sneeze at for most folks out there.  That's some serious dough were dealing with regardless of how you look at it.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: March 16, 2024, 07:40:51 PM
Because the story of a rare but big win sounds much louder than the story of many but not big wins. I think that's why lotteries prefer to give a huge amount of money to one lucky person rather than give it to a lot of people in small amounts. It turns out to be a promotion that attracts players. Although such a distribution can hardly be called fair.
Yep, maybe this is the reason why offline lottery still popular until now because people are hoping they will become the one lucky winner among a lot participants out there. Usually gamblers who won small amount money will share their achievement through the casino's social media or their friends, but their winnings won't able to be posted in an article and become popular.

You make an excellent point.  There is an undeniable thrill that comes with holding that physical lottery ticket, letting your imagination run wild with possibilities before revealing what lies underneath and  small wins we tend to celebrate more intimately with those closest to us, while big jackpot wins catapult people into internet fame.

Imagine the headlines: "Local Pizza Delivery Guy Wins Enough Bitcoin to Buy His Own Island!"  That would truly be a viral story! Most of us can only daydream about such a radical life change.  But I suppose someone has to win those insane mega millions prizes we always hear about.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you prefer betting your own predictions or from prediction site on: March 16, 2024, 07:22:41 PM
Good gamblers build up instincts and learn to go with their gut, I think.  Even if some people win big jackpots on just a hunch, you can also crash and burn hard trusting those gut feelings blindly.  For me, I'm more of a trust my own judgment type of gambler.  Those betting prediction sites can be hit or miss in my experience.  Sometimes they might point you toward a winner but counting too much on them to pick all the games leaves you vulnerable.
208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is Online Crypto-Gambling Legal in a Country Without Gambling Laws? on: March 16, 2024, 07:07:57 PM
Well, from my understanding, you typically can't be penalized for something if there's no actual laws against it.  Makes sense, right? When it comes to online gambling here it seems to be allowed so long as you use a legit, regulated site.  But I ain't no legal expert - there could definitely be other tricky laws related to the gambling industry that you dont know about.  For instance, I think I remember hearing something before about how all gambling sites based here need special permission to operate.  And maybe something about additional taxes or fees they gotta pay too?  The point is, there could be other related laws that impact things.

few minutes later as I forgot to mention that all this because of as they say they owe me 24USDT and I say which I even did not ask to withdraw

I get that people have tried explaining why the casino doesn't have to cater to your wishes.  I tried understanding your perspective too.  But now it seems like you're just acting out of spite and a bruised ego.

Long story short, they gave you a way to cash out without the KYC, but you refused.  They even offered you a $100 bug bounty which you also declined.  I really don't get what you want from them at this point?

Seems like you're convinced the casino owes you something based on your own wishes.  But that ain't how it works! They got their own rules to follow.

I have principles! Nobody can buy me! I love fairness! I love justice! simple as that

They are allowed to have principles too, right?  Every platform has the right to set its own rules. Don't like their principles?  Simple - don't use their platform. You agreed to the Terms & Conditions, remember?  Besides, why didn't you answer the question: What exactly do you want from them at this point?

You should read and understand and not just post to show your signature as I call it Signature Spamming!

Don't be silly! 99% of the members who post here have some form of signature, myself included. Focus on the content of posts, not some crusade against signatures.  If you think my posts are spam, you have the option to report them to the moderators.

You want fairness and justice?  Start by being fair in your judgments. I commented on your ridiculous scam accusation thread nearly a month ago, so I'm already familiar with your case. You clearly haven't been paying attention.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is Legal In Our Country But if You Promote It Online You'll Go To Jail? on: March 16, 2024, 05:40:59 PM
so what do you think of this law, is this right?

I get what you're saying, but I don't think gambling ads being illegal while gambling itself is legal is that weird.  It kinda reminds me of alcohol - it's legal to buy but theres all these rules about selling it or drinking it public and  my guess is they're worried about problem gambling and addiction.  So maybe cracking down on constant ads everywhere is their way to help addicts out?  Seems contradictory though, right? Makes you wonder if there's some other reason they don't want it promoted so much.

212  Economy / Economics / Re: Early exposure of children to wealth and investments on: March 16, 2024, 04:00:50 PM
There's no set age when kids are ready to learn about investing - it depends on the child.  Some teenagers may understand stocks and compound growth, while others just see dollar signs.  But even responsible adults could meet an untimely end, so it's wise to discuss finances openly with family regardless of age.  Though money talk makes some uncomfortable, patience and open communication is the best.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HELP! ANY OF THESE TRADING PLATFORM ARE LEGIT? on: March 15, 2024, 10:23:35 PM
ARE THESE FOR REALS??

NO! They are all most likely scams!

Code:
https://questoption.com/

This website is a mere 133 days old, yet they claim over 15 years of experience? That math doesn't exactly add up.
"Largest Stock Exchange-Listed FX & CFD Broker" Really? Because a quick google search brings up zero recognition for this supposed giant.
"we have earned the trust of over 657,000 customers around the world" Another bold claim without a shred of evidence. Highly unlikely for a 4-month-old website.

Code:
https://finance24base.com/

This website (created a mere 379 days ago) claims to be a giant in the financial world. Let's dissect their tall tales:

"One of the biggest companies in the world?" Seriously? If that were true, wouldn't you recognize the name?
"Our parent company has been around for over 100 years?" Where's the proof of this supposed legacy?
"Finance24base Created in 2012?" The domain name tells a different story. Trust the evidence, not their self-serving claims.

But there is more. Here are some of the clone sites that I quickly googled.

and many more...

Claims to be founded in 2014.

Claims to be a leading investment/ asset management company with years of experience in trading on the financial market.

214  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Politicians and false humility on: March 15, 2024, 07:11:31 PM
Politicians and humility just don't mix well together.  Campaign trails are littered with bold pledges and the assurance that they understand life as an average Joe. but the power and prestige of office have a way of going straight to the head. Egos swell, accessibility reduces, and promises blur.  Perhaps we shouldn't be so quick to take politicians at their word when they claim to be just like us.  Their incentive is votes after all.   Instead, we should focus on holding them accountable.  Remember those promises?  Remind them.  Because politicians might forget they work for us, but we sure as hell shouldn't.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I've projected my holding after this bull run. what's yours? on: March 15, 2024, 06:55:10 PM
I saw this project somewhere in town which inspired my goodwill thought to help the community.
Meanwhile I didn't make any promises to the community but indebted to myself, I'll do it without a damn promises.

That's a really interesting idea, wanting to give back to your community with that water project.  Having goals beyond just money, like helping people out, is great and the main thing is having a plan that you feel good about.

Have you thought about talking to some other folks in your community about that project? There might be other people concerned too who could help get it going or provide logistics or something.  Just a random thought!

Well, best of luck with your community project and everything.  Sounds like your heart's in the right place.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler takes his own life after a loss. on: March 15, 2024, 06:43:48 PM
This kind of gambler has done two kinds of havoc, one to himself for committing a suicide and the other was the family he has thrown into mourning of his demise, i don't know how he came about having such mentality that suggest death as an alternative to shame  over gambling loss, am sure he must have been somewhere now blaming himself afterlife, and upon all this decision and action taken, that doesnt cler the debts he has left behind.

Yeah, gambling addiction's clearly got some awful impacts - for the person with the problem, and their family and friends too.  When someone can't stop gambling even though it's messing up their life, they probably feel real lonely and like things aint never gonna get better.  Suicide's just an awful end result.  But it isn't about feeling ashamed - it's more about the mental illness that can cloud judgment.
217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me to invest altcoin now on: March 15, 2024, 02:34:17 PM
What do you advise me?

Yes, market dip can be scary. But hang on now, no need to panic quite yet!

When considering crypto investments, it's wise to start by reflecting on your personal risk tolerance.  If you're looking for steadier returns with less volatility, that will guide you towards more established crypto coins with lower risk profiles.  However, if you're comfortable riding out price fluctuations in search of higher returns newer or more speculative altcoins may be on the table.

Anyway, excellent resources to educate yourself include CoinMarketCap and Coingecko. They list tons of altcoins with info about their performance and other important info. Just remember - no one else will care about your money as much as you and  relying completely on someone elses investment advice without verifying things yourself is never advisable.  Financial homework is essential.

Once you've researched a potential altcoin investments that seem intriguing, we could have a discussion weighing their respective pros and cons.  The responsibility still lies with you but it can be helpful to sound out different perspectives.
218  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: March 15, 2024, 02:09:23 PM
Right now btc are in short term consolidation phase.
Howvere i see it's now good time to load bags of btc and altcoins becouse the support zone acting as short wick 65k-67k price range.

Again, I'm calling out your bullshit "analysis".

Yesterday you said: "the 69k price range strong support zone for btc", and today it's magically shifted down to 65k-67k?  What the heck happened in those 14 hours?  Did you forget your crystal ball at home?  And seriously, "wonderful opportunity to load up your crypto bags"?  This isn't some souvenir shop, buddy.  Stop trying to peddle your shaky predictions as financial advice.  Maybe focus on learning some actual market analysis before you "report" again.
219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about SOL resilience for recent market correction on: March 15, 2024, 01:49:50 PM
Yeah! Solana seems to be weathering the crypto storm pretty well lately.  Even when the whole market takes a nosedive, Solana bounces back quick.  The price ain't near its all-time high from 2021 yet, but it's been on a heck of a run the past couple months and  where's it going next? The number of people using Solana every day hit a new record high.  More people than ever are making transactions on there.  As long as Solana keeps building up its platform and community, it should keep succeeding long-term.
220  Economy / Speculation / Re: Im new here but Im old trader i keep eyes on Market. on: March 14, 2024, 10:54:26 PM
On this thread i start reporting my analyse daily i hope it helps Smiley

What kind of analysis is this?  "Whales are loading bags full"?  That's not analysis, it's reading tea leaves in bull urine.  Price targets without reasoning are meaningless.  And congratulations on buying at a potential peak, because with "analysis" like this, you might be the one getting liquidated.  Do some research, learn about technical indicators, and maybe then you'll have something more than a psychic hotline prediction to base your trades on. This kind of speculations doesn't belong here, but in the Speculation board and the Wall Observer topic.
