201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google have been conspicuously quiet about Bitcoin for 6 years. What gives? on: August 21, 2015, 09:02:44 PM
Google is probably in secret constructing their next gen crypto while they send in Mike Hearn to finish Bitcoin off so when googlecoin comes to market it'll have less competition. Just a wild guess connecting dots.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be the end? on: August 21, 2015, 08:52:03 PM
Not the end of Bitcoin but the end of demand for Bitcoin

204  Economy / Speculation / Re: The hardfork will make Gavincoin plummet to zero on: August 21, 2015, 05:18:35 PM
homo homini was pretty bang on.

If you search google for "gavincoin" this thread is at the top of the search btw.

bitpay, blockchain.info and okcoin will support BIP101.
well....XT seems to win...

ya, well if the scum is gonna win get ready for really cheap coins. But i don't think so.

Also worth mentioning is how all these xt clowns on this thread gone silent since.

adding some high profile names like circle, coinbase and >50% of chinese miners

unfortunately some early adoptors seem a little bit to overconfident in their circle jerk forums bitcointalk and r/bitcoin. ->self-censorship is not a good thing if you want to stay connected with reality.

the best thing that could happen to bitcoin is if some early adoptors fold their bitcoins because of ideology. the better distribution will guarantee bitcoin a fast recovery (2nd gen. early adoptors are already waiting to take their place) and further success. but before that, there could be blood in the streets. $50 and below seem possible, if sky is falling on us.

lol, as if it would recover from 50$ - people aren't stupid.

LITECOIN!
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Xt supporters are all frauds on: August 21, 2015, 04:39:26 PM
If xt supporters were not all full of shit, then why has btc not rallied?
When people believe in a company, idea, currency, commodity, etc, they tend to put their money where their mouth is....
So far since the xt news, we have seen dumping, weaker prices, and a lot of uncertainty.
XT supporters, man up and start buying lots of btc, since you know, it is so great and will propel bitcoin into the next level.

To be honest I don't really care if the idea is right or wrong, all I know is when you believe in something you act on it, and xt fanboys, are all frauds.

They are not only frauds and full of shit scum of the earth, they are broke aswell of course.

209  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Unobtanium (Uno/Un) - deutscher Community-thread on: August 21, 2015, 12:11:24 AM

Aktuelle Wallets bitte vom englischen thread runterladen.

I believe a lot of traders have been waiting for this to happen. I think we'll be having a bunch new wallets on the rockchain after this dip.

Welcome all newcomers Smiley

Also the cryptsy wallet is drawn down.
This dump wasn't all that bad imo. Good for distribution. Good entry for new people now. Also markets are much more liquid now(on the buy side at least). Good build-up of support.

I think it should bounce back up coming days.

You can always sell your body or your grandma.
212  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still great time to sell litecoin and bitcoin. on: August 20, 2015, 11:56:02 PM
this is the perfect time to sell LTC.

everyone here should know about the pre halving pumps in the alt scenario

Litecoin is under value as a much needed hedge against a bitcoin failure. So i think 5$ is fair. In case Gavincoin keeps being the talk then we'll maybe even see 10$ and 20$ again.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Options for core people who consider core the real bitcoin? on: August 20, 2015, 10:29:19 PM
Okay, nobody mentioned this here. The only reason for which I'm not doing it myself is, that I'm afraid that it won't get enough attention. Someone needs to make a petition and request bigger blocks with core (some compromise like 4 MB = less resistance from users). After which one should open a thread here, and spread the word. If a lot of people agree, and the Core developers refuse to do this, then I'm afraid that the current system is very flawed.

In that case even I would probably drop Core (not saying that I would join XT).

Before we do anything blocksize related in the future Gavin and Mike need to have been excluded from the core team. In the future i will refuse updates that have only a single line of code from Gavin or Hearn.
There won't be any forks or blocksize-changes with Gavin or Hearn around. They need to go if you want ever change the blocksize or reach consensus on anything.

There will be no consensus with Gavin and Mike. Period.

Most of the scum gone silent... like RodeoX, Doomad, Elwar and some others.

LiteCoinGuy is still at it...
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coblee (creator of Litecoin) comments on Gavincoin on: August 20, 2015, 10:01:25 PM

No i understand it perfectly. However in the thick skull of yours, you assume miners would use NotXTnode. While in reality only a handful retards run NotXTnodes with a fantasy that their evil plan ( if calling that a plan at all)  would actually work.

216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Higher Blocksize = lower BTC price...Why? on: August 20, 2015, 08:48:40 PM
Hi all,

I just heard from an "expert" on Bloomberg that a higher blocksize will result in a lower btc price because more transactions will go through. But why will this result in a lower btc price?!?

Thanks in advance

Cuz it introduces all kinds of technical issues. If xt ever happens (i doubt it) you'd see it turned into a shitcoin with problems to sync up and huge recource consumption. People will very easily go for another coin then.

Also the risk of two viable chains existing after fork will spook investors massively and btc won't be worth a lot anymore until the fork happens. Could be near worthless after fork.

I don't think bloomberg knows this and they are talking out of their ass as usual btw.

So that was it?

Selling his 3 tons half price. Thanks, man.

Idiot, if the fork happens the real chain is the one built on XT nodes.....

or on notXT nodes  Roll Eyes

New sell wall at 0.0066 on Cryptsy.

I entered the convo with gekko and he claims there's much more to come and that there are others behind it as well... I'll just keep buying as the price falls  Cool

Edit: Another sell wall at 0.006 on bittrex now. Up to 32nd in volume of all coins.

Sellwall vaporized before my deposit cleared!

Bring more,Gekko!
