201  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Livecoin Exchange Closing Shop on: March 16, 2021, 09:36:43 PM
Some kind of weird non-traditional exit scam.
"exit scam indeed" with only a website and an email address as our only contact, we are at their mercy !!

This leads me to ask these questions;
  • Are crypto exchanges regulated in any way
  • Do we have any crypto exchanges that an insured to cover such losses
  • Does anybody audit these guys
  • Are exchanges compelled to pay tax
202  Economy / Exchanges / Livecoin Exchange Closing Shop on: March 16, 2021, 06:47:06 PM
Don't know what happened to Livecoin exchange but from what i have read it seems they got hacked and have no way of recovering and they have decided to close shop.
But most importantly, if anyone had coins on the exchange of not less than $10 you can claim your coins by sending an email to their support [ email withheld]

204  Economy / Exchanges / Re: My money is gone, please help me on: March 14, 2021, 09:23:53 PM
Hi,
I have sold bitcoin for the first time in my life, using blockchain. After I sold, then my bitcoin disappeared, but I didn't get anything instead. I sold them to get euro. Can someone please help me understand why this happened, have I done something wrong? As you can see in the attached picture link it says canceled and from bitcoin wallet to euros wallet. I can say that it is more than 1000 euro, but the money is not in my euros wallet Cry

How exactly did you sell your Bitcoin, was it with simple trade without order book or by setting order to fill later?
It's unlikely they would take your bitcoin like that, and canceled status means that you or them pressed the cancel button.

Don't remember the last time I used them but for all I know blockchain.com all orders are based on market orders, so this order should have be filled immediately.

Just one question are you able to buy crypto from your account and secondly have you passed KYC

If this isn't resolved yet try contact the blockchain.com support, good luck.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 14, 2021, 09:02:06 PM
Spurs got what they deserve. You can't expect to win anymore with the same style every game as people will notice you and they will start taking measures in order to counter your football style and today Arsenal did exactly this and a well deserved 3 points.
Epl has evolved and I guess teams that stick to the same play style are being analyzed to the last bit and punished for the same game plan...Jose should know better!
Which might explain why teams like Liverpool who seem to keep playing with the wing attacks are not winning of late except champions league of course...the other teams work is cut off and all they do is wait for the game to play out and counter them.

Man United - West Ham 0-0 1st half. Can we see at least 2 goals 2nd half please ?Sad
10 minutes to go and Man United are one goal up (1-0) and keep pressing maybe that second goal might come after all.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 14, 2021, 05:56:15 PM
Leicester city is now second on the table with a first half win over Sheffield United, the foxes dominated the blades from start to finish of the first half, the game should have been more than one goal to the good for Leicester city, I think the would see it out in the second half,
Sheffield are looking almost ready to pack and leave the premier league, I wounder what happened to these guys... I know Leicester have a lot of quality and offensive football but overall these guys are making it too easy!

more pressure for Manchester United who face am in form Westham United.
This is too much pressure on united which shouldn't have been the case had they not drawn over 3 consecutive matches, this is their doing and the only way to correct this is winning against the hammers.
207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why new projects/ coins do not have ANN on bitcointalk ? on: March 14, 2021, 05:24:39 PM
I don't this that's a requirement for projects to do so, AFAIK most projects introduced themselves to the forum  in the form of an ANN or bounty campaign as it was targeted to a crypto community which would find their content relevant and at the time it was difficult to find people with crypto interest.

Now times have changed and more people around the world are aware of crypto and would easily find investors off the forum  with ease which is a win for the forum as it has given crypto the exposure it needed.
208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: March 14, 2021, 12:47:09 PM
Without Elon shilling we will not see even 0.5 usd for dogecoin
Are you saying Elon is the problem here???
I thought Elon always talking about doge and crypto in general helps push crypto prices up....

Looking at the level the dogecoin price it sims it will take large buying for the price to increase up to $1 this will be possible but it takes time and huge capital to achieve that. Well let wait and see what happen in the long run to victory.
Not sure though have to verify, but I hear dogecoin supply is unlimited and I think this is where the problem is!
The solution to see prices go up could be locking coins away for a long time or have coin burns to reduce its supply this certainly could see doge go up and beyond the $1 target.
209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 14, 2021, 12:25:22 PM
What a fantastic finish by Leeds which unbelievable nobody was expecting in today match Chelsea will get exposed like that. I am totally disappointed from them and very hard to believe they could get failed against the weak side. Anyway what a boring day All matches getting shocking results.
I am disappointed either, all fans. what Tuchel did is a bad strategy have. he must change his mind to do next to put Wenner and Giroud as a starter not to blame slippery field or anything. Leeds can read Tuchel's strategy because he did it before.
You might see Leeds as a weak team here, but from the games I have watched I can tell you these guys have plenty of quality in them and honestly they deserved to walk away with a result.

On the part of Chelsea resting some players I think it's a good idea to rest some of their best to give chance to others that don't have enough game time on the field, besides resting these guys motivates  the next guy to fight for a chance to be called to play.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: 90% of bounty hunter never care about the quality of post on: March 13, 2021, 11:39:31 AM
I don't think thats true!
If you saying 90% don't care thats saying 90% of these campaigns are made up by spammers which is something the forum is against or at least discourages!
If this is true, you could always hit the report button whenever you see such posts and probably report this to the campaign manager who will most likely sort this out and save the campaign from further spam.

211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Declares War on Bitcoin (?) on: March 12, 2021, 05:44:54 PM
Is China ever going to move on on the issue of BITCOIN?
Year in year out its china making the wrong news about crypto, I remember back then when such news surfaced price would usually go down but today that's not the case which is a win for crypto.

These guys need not to overlook the fact that Bitcoin is a livelihood for many and they should encourage Chinese crypto users to do more not forgetting the reduction of the carbon footprint bitcoin has by its miners thanks to green ways of producing electricity.
212  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEW SCAM SPOTTED on: March 11, 2021, 11:51:58 PM
Thanks for the heads up, that's why its advised that we should separate our wallet/work emails with anything that would put our email address in the public domain. Better yet avoid crypto wallets that don't give you access to your private keys to avoid such.,if you have to, bookmark your sites.

214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 11, 2021, 08:11:40 PM
PSG is my favorite team now in this Champions.
IMO the winner will be one of these 3, Manchester City, PSG, and ofcourse Bayern.
oil money for the win, without respecting the rules for the win.
I like where you going with this, these are Titans of the competition and one of my FIFA favourite teams too  Tongue but only one problem are we going to have a team that has not won it before or the usual names will continue where they left from?
From the look of things, It will have to either go to Germany or Spain if you calculate the probability of each team progressing at this stage.

Btw put Liverpool on your watchlist as they are bidding to play next seasons champions league and their only ticket is winning it which will save them the embarrassment but this won't be any easy.
215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and the real world. 💸 The Movement! on: March 11, 2021, 07:58:39 PM
What in your opinion is the biggest power of the crypto movement for the real world?
Biggest power has to be the unifying element cypto has in the form of one world, one currency! With this means using cryptocurrencies with no boarders.
Other obvious reasons have to be Financial freedom, Better data protection as compared to our fiat systems, You get some privacy depending on crypto used without revealing financial information.

Where do you see blockchain/crypto making a significant impact over the next decade?
With the covid pandemic, more stakeholders I.e you me and everyone else will be advocating for cashless services to be used in our daily lives which could put crypto in a good position to make an impact on the financial sector.

I can't believe Liverpool is winning against in form Leipzig, could it be the neutral ground helping because had it been Anifield....this might have been a different result.

Current score: Liverpool 2-0 RB Leipzig
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: March 10, 2021, 07:31:11 PM
small info by the way...
Erling Haaland is now, by his two goals yesterday against fc valencia, the youngest player (20 years, 7 months, 16 days) in the ucl-history who has scored 20 goals.
he has now displaced Kylian Mbappe (21 years, 11 months, 19 days) in the 2nd place Shocked
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/haaland-mbappe-amp-co-the-youngest-players-to-reach-20-ucl-goals/index/galerie/3365?page=40

is he that young?
I don't even know that he is that young. he's so good, so people like me expect more and more until finally realized that he is still very young.
the same thing happens when you are a United fan but you give many excuses to Lingard because he is not performing well. he is already 28, but he still looks like a young player who graduated 2-3 years ago from the academy. for your benchmark, Bruno is 26  Grin

I am waiting for PSG vs Barcelona, 4 am in the morning from my timezone  Shocked

Not only has he surpassed him, but also Messi and Ronaldo, Dortmund really have great talent, do not be surprised if Real Madrid and Barcelona start calling him, the Norwegian player is in good shape and has the ideal age, the player's youth is ideal for any team of these magnitudes.

Well if my speculations are true, I imagine that Real Madrid or Barcelona must already be doing negotiations or having conversations with Dortmund. These clubs always want the best.
Did you say Barcelona or Real Madrid I honestly think thats a bad place for a young lad with so much to offer....I would rather he goes to play in the Epl and not the Spanish league but like everybody wishes to sign him these remain transfer rumours  not until deal is put on paper and signed for....

Tonight I hope the two home playing teams can win their respective games and also conquer the next Champions League stage.
PSG @ 2.68 and Liverpool @ 2.63 are too inviting to leave them there and with a $5 bet, we can win seven times more than our stake.

I don't think PSG could lose grip of their precious away goals, what might happen is containing Barca not to score or at the least play out for shared points.... PSG to win or draw looks good Smiley

And for Liverpool I fear for them, because that losing streak their on might actually catch up with them today and I don't see them winning because currently RB is a better team and has better form  !

Only two words about Juve and CR7: yesterday stated the failure of the Champions League-CR7 Juventus project. The overpaid portuguese champion, will not make into Juventus history for sure.
The old lady almost went through yesterday and CR7 was in the mix to make this happen getting himself an assist but it was not happen thanks to that Porto penalty which denied Juve from progressing.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: March 10, 2021, 04:56:27 PM
This is a good and bad idea!
Good idea in the sense that it promotes transparency and accountability by the campaign manager and also respects ones privacy which means you not exposed to phishing attempts or receiving spam for whatever product and service advertisement.

And this is also a bad idea as some bounty hunters can act in bad faith and enroll several accounts using the same email addy disadvantaging other users.
