Permanent Democratic Power

In 2010, the Supreme Court ushered in a torrent of new political spending through its Citizens United v. FEC decision. "Progressives" who were convinced that big business would back Republicans to the hilt saw doom written on the wall. To counter this Republican tide, groups such as the Brennan Center proposed adding "millions of new voters onto the rolls through a modernized registration system—starting in 2010."

In short, they needed to balloon the Democratic Party's ranks to survive a GOP onslaught—an onslaught that never came.

"Voter registration modernization" proved a euphemism for inserting operatives into state election machinery. But EBU data is protected behind layers of federal privacy laws and across multiple state agencies (e.g. motor vehicle departments) and thus not available to political groups. It was Pew Charitable Trusts, a powerful left-of-center funder, that discovered the back door.

The best help for Ukraine at this stage - really, any stage - is to kick everything US/Nato out, so that there can be peace. Don't you realize that Ukraine is destroyed? Ukraine is made up of two basic groups of people:

When the US came into Ukraine, and infiltrated its government (for US selfish purposes) so that the Ukraine government started acting against Russia and Russians - resulting in Russia trying to hold back the US/Ukraine government with the invasion - where did the Ukrainians go who were in favor of Russia? They left Ukraine so that they wouldn't be forced to fight a country (RF) they wanted to be friends with.

What's left in Ukraine? Two groups of people:
1. Those who are against Russia;
2. Those who are silently in favor of Russia; silent because Zelensky will kill them if they are found out.

If the war ceases, will the Russia-friendly Ukrainians who fled ever come back to Ukraine? Nobody knows. Some of them might. The internal Ukraine conflict will continue, with or without US interference.

Kick the US and the Zelensky government out of Ukraine so that there can be peaceful conflict between its citizens, as was the case for a long time in the past.

If Russia gets back into foreign currencies, that means that she is ready to start using currencies of the countries that are sanctioning her. How peculiar.

According to Bloomberg Economics, the move aims to bolster Russia’s reserves as growing energy revenues “stabilize” public finances despite the West’s efforts to squeeze Kremlin’s income. The media outlet estimated initial volumes amounting to an equivalent of around $200 million in yuan per month.

The Chinese currency is the main asset Russia can still use to conduct transactions for its $154 billion wealth fund because of the sanctions that cut the country off from the world’s dollar-denominated financial system.

“It will be important for the market that the state is starting to accumulate reserves again instead of spending them,” the analyst at Freedom Holding Corp. Natalia Milchakova remarked. “This may even positively affect the ruble.”

Bloomberg‘s Russia economist, Alexander Isakov pointed out that the resumption of foreign exchange purchases may initially be small but will still be “highly symbolic.” This will show that Russia is building reserves rather than “eating through” them.

Russia sold from its wealth fund in 2023 to cover spending, and the shift from selling to buying would highlight “Russia’s ability to keep up the flow of petrodollars in the face of sanctions and the price cap” imposed by the Group of Seven (G7) industrialized nations and their partners in the European Union as well as their allies, the outlet said.
