Worry??  You think I'm worrying because DT is going to jail?!?  I'm rejoicing that justice is finally is being served, two and a half years after I started this thread.
You are projecting, Bud, just like your beloved leader (of the cult you are a  proud and deluded member of) does.

Even if the unlikely happens and he is found guilty somewhere, he'll just pardon himself after 2024. But he'll be taking the deep state down.

Cool

That is another widespread lie. If Trumps is found guilty, it would be just unheard of a convict to hold the presidency of the US, but in theory it is possible. Curiously, the constitution of the US allows it BUT and this is the BUT:

Quote
Legal experts have pointed to the 14th Amendment as a way to keep Trump from holding office if he is convicted, which includes a “disqualification clause” that bars anyone from holding public office if they “have engaged in insurrection or rebellion” or “given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

So, sorry to break the news to you, but if he is found guilty (I would say when, not if) or promoting an insurrection - which he did very publicly - he would be disqualified from presidency.

However there are other reasons - donors are unlikely to give money to a convict and many Republicans say in the polls that they would not vote for Trump if found guilty.

The thing that you are missing is that the election will be over before Trump gets convicted... if he is convicted. Right now there are legal battles being prepared against the prosecution for interfering with an election process. These preparations will at least stall the court way longer than the close of the 2024 election.

As you say, this kind of thing hasn't happened before... criminally convicting a sitting President. It might take a new Amendment to for the minority to get Trump out. But the majority might see to it that Trump stays IN through the new Amendment.

Besides, the prosecution might simply be fumbling for something to make Trump look bad. Trump could counter indict and totally destroy the court and its officers for messing with the court rules.

The IRS operates by assumed contract and agreement. If you ever signed paperwork for anything with the IRS, simply revoke your signature off it all. Then, file their forms (if you want to) with "n-a" on every line, and sign the forms "non-assumsit, Your Signature." Non-assumpsit means no-contract/no-agreement.

If they pester you after that, notice the head of the major branch that is pestering you, or the Internal Revenue Commissioner, to control their people to stop harassing you. If they don't stop, charge the bosses personally (not their office) with harassment.

an arrest warrant has been issued for Putin.
The day that Putin will have an handcuffs to his hands will be the day when we will see a new formidable state to rival USA, as much as I hope that Putin gets tried for this, he will likely be assassinated. When it comes to Trump though, why is he still going for a re-election campaign? Is the majority of the USA still clamoring for his return?

After Putin, the empire will cease to exist. Many of its peoples will become independent from Moscow. We must not forget that the Russians will have to pay indemnity for many years for the death of thousands of Ukrainians and the destruction in Ukraine. One way or another, the Russians will have to pay for evil, and this payment will be large.

After Putin, WW3. Medvedev won't put up with all the BS Putin has been taking.

Cool

Yes, Medvedev instead of Putin is more suitable for Russia and the Russian people. They say he is rarely sober.

Well what do you expect? The poor guy knows he will be taking over sometime. He knows what he will be doing (nuking). And he has a conscience. Let him drink, now, so he can be sober when he takes over.

Working over 20 years still poor

Not working hard enough Tongue

Cool
Well, I am pretty sure that I've seen people work hard and very well but it seems that their hard work isn't still enough. So, you're right that they didn't work hard enough. However, in this generation, working smart is another thing that everyone has to consider to become rich. Whilst those that have worked for the rest of their lives and they've got exact provisions for themselves, the definition of being poor on them is subjective on what they think about it. So it has to be both working hardly and smartly or wisely.

~

Of course, you are right. Work smart as well as hard.

The smart work people should get together and recall any or their Congress people who don't shut down the Federal Reserve Bank. Why? Because it is the double standards that the Fed is doing that is creating places like the homelessness in Portland, Frisco, and LA.

How is the Fed doing this? By multiplying money out of thin air, thereby causing inflation that the people can't handle.

1167  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The reason for the aggressiveness of the "Russian world" on: August 15, 2023, 04:24:18 PM
The simple reason for the aggressiveness of the Russian world is, nobody else will do it for them.

Cool

Right, a nation have to defend their territory and sovereignity, but in the case we could argue Russia is not defending her territory, but rather trying to steal some from another sovereign state.

Even if we take NATO expansion in consideration, Russia crossed the border in the middle of the night and started the active aggression against Ukraine. There is no excuse to risk the life of civilians and bomb civil infrastructure, does not matter were the bombs come from, violence is supposed to be avoided.

The point of Russia trying to steal some of Ukraine's land is invalid. Why? It was Russian land in the past..

Cool

So you don't believe in the independence of the nations and sovereign countries?
Based on that statement we could argue that since the United States is a former colony of the United Kingdom, it would be valid for the British to launch a transatlantic "special operation" and take over part of the eartern coast.

Or the same could be said about Japan taking over both South and North Korea, since it was part of their empire in previous decades. Specially in the case of Japan, there was pretty much very serious discimination and oppression against the Korean people, to the point of the Empire of Japan tried to replace their language and culture with their own.

Gradually the US is not protecting its own people in other countries. It seems that most countries don't protect their own people in other countries. Except Russia, of course. Russia is out there protecting its people from a vicious Ukraine government.

Perhaps you don't visit or move to other countries. Your country will protect you within your country. But in other countries that would allow you to settle there, they shouldn't simply change their mind once you settle there, and set out to kill you and destroy your property. Or am I missing something? Would you really like to be killed in a country that welcomed you and then changed its mind?

Anyway, Russia is simply protecting its own in Ukraine... protecting them from advice from the US to Ukraine to kill them.

There are a thousand scenarios where a thousand different ethnic groups could accidentally become the ruling power. But for the moment, the ruling power in Eurasia is Russia.

Cool

So maybe you can rule in your own country and not extend your power to other countries.

Russia wasn't forced into shutting down the USSR. They did it by agreement with the US. But the US didn't uphold its part of the agreement.

You are welcome in the forum... just like Russia is invited in by some countries. But maybe you should take your own advice, and go back to your own country.

The Federalist Wire is not suggesting that we know that the 2020 election was in any way shape or form decided before Americans went to the ballot box that year.

Hahah this time around no body works hard to be wealthy, you can only work wisely to be wealthy or comfortable. Working wisely is when you are able to see the opportunities you have and going for it. Working hard is to put in your thinking cap and not to act sheepishly in the face of what needs to be done. Taking action is better than procrastinating. So this time around, the amount of muscle you have doesn't make any one rich, those who are rich are employers of labour.

Except for the people who are digging for gold in a proven gold-field.

Quote
'I Don't Think Science Knows': Visiting Fires, Trump Denies Climate Change

See, this two things are actually related to each other, while the fact that Biden supports ending the war in Ukraine in a way that guarantees that aggression is not rewarded, that we do not go back to cold war and where Ruzzia has an incentive to avoid further wars and demilitarises itself in the process has nothing to do with helping rebuild Maui.

Climate change is something that has been going on for at least the last five thousand years. In the northern half of the United States, they get four seasons every year. Climate change. If you want time periods other than annually, same thing. You pick it. Climate change all the time... warm to cold, cold back to warm, warm to cold again... over and over and over.

When you study the science, global warming has been rate-decreasing over the last 20 years or so.

When you study the history of the earth, there have been times when the earth was much warmer, and times when it was much colder. Maui fires don't have anything to do with it, and climate change doesn't have anything to do with Maui fires.

Trump was right as usual.

Climate change is an excuse that Biden might use to say that it's nature, so might as well give more money to Ukraine for the war.

SEC should come out plain with their reasons as to why they want those coins delisted.
There are lots of coins that has potentials like the ethereum, litecoin and lots of them.
Because I don't understand what the regulators mean by saying "we're not going to explain it to you, you need to delist every asset other than Bitcoin".
I think the the court should just take a decided stance on this matter, because this is very delicate, as it involves lots of people's investments.

If anybody wants to get out from under the SEC, all they have to do is use wallets and programming that has Private Member Association (PMA) written into the transactions pages. This makes every transaction to be a PMA, with the hash as the identifying configuration. Government has no authority over a PMA as long as it isn't harming the members or damaging their property.

BTW, the members = the sender and the receiver.

http://www.ronpaulinstitute.org/archives/featured-articles/2023/august/14/as-maui-burns-biden-demands-another-24-billion-for-ukraine/
I am not a big fan of Federal Government disaster relief. Too much of the time the money never gets to those who need it most, and too often Washington's armies of disaster "experts" are more interested in pushing people around than helping them.

Nevertheless, it's hard to look at recent footage of the devastation in Maui and then hear President Biden tell Congress that he needs another $24 billion for Ukraine. How can this Administration continue to justify tens of billions of dollars for this losing war that is not in our interest while the rest of the United States disintegrates?

Biden's new $24 billion request comes on top of well over $120 billion already spent to fight the US proxy war on Russia in Ukraine. Heritage Foundation budget expert Richard Stern has done the math and determined that Biden's spending on the Ukraine war thus far will cost each and every American household $900. How many Americans would rather have those $900 dollars back in their pocket rather than in the pockets of Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, and Ukraine's oligarchs?

Recent surveys have shown that a majority of Americans could not afford to cover a sudden $1,000 emergency. Will Americans connect the dots and realize that the reason they can't find that $1,000 for an emergency is because the neocons have already sent it to Ukraine?

^^^ But if you look at the charges and indictments, you will see that loads of other presidents of the past have done way more in the same areas as Trump is being charged with. But none of them except Clinton was ever charged with wrongdoing for them.

The point is that the Deep State is working as hard as it can to prosecute Trump into a position where he doesn't make it into the presidency.

If they can't prosecute Trump out of the presidency, they just might have to declare an emergency of some kind, to shut down elections.
