2021  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Info Fee Mempool Terupdate & Penjelasannya on: October 17, 2022, 02:40:26 PM
But well, kalaupun terjadi kayak gitu ya sebagai user ane happy" aja.

Betul. Ane masih ingat bikin tx dengan fee 30 sat terasa murah.
2022  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Q&A][TIPS] Seputar Bounty/Airdrop Di Sini on: October 17, 2022, 02:35:27 PM
2023  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Difference between cloud mining and hosted mining? on: October 17, 2022, 02:02:17 PM
My brother is into hosted mining and from what I have heard he has been making a decent amount of profit. We don't talk anymore so I have no idea where he gets it done from..
I think you should ask him even if it feels awkward since you're risking your money here. At least you have someone with experience to learn more directly. But always be cautious because the risk is always there. Sometimes a scam service gives you a "decent" profit for a few months, then asks for another deposit later, and then ditches you.
2024  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc address on: October 17, 2022, 01:56:03 PM
so, i do find there is an address holding 24 btc and got transactions from some suspicious addresses.
can I report this address or red flag it so that the scammer can't transfer the money anymore?
Is this related to your previous thread? Which address that you judge as a scammer btw? Even if you managed to do that I think it will only show as malicious on explorer (just like how Etherscan works for example). Some exchanges might block transactions coming from those "malicious" addresses if they use the same blacklist database but you can't do anything if they refuse to do it.
2025  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: crypto long term dijamin sukses on: October 16, 2022, 12:28:45 PM
2026  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What makes Dev different on: October 16, 2022, 11:45:04 AM
by showing off to investors that you're here for them and this is who you are. Totally different from the mode of operandi of countless dev out there. As you stay committed
And how exactly devs can do that? It sounds nice for sure, but I bet there are some devs out there who claimed that they already did the same thing but get no results.

I think a promise or tagline of something similar is worthless. Showing them that your product already works, with open-source code and continuous development is more appealing, at least for me.
2027  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: btc transactions on: October 16, 2022, 10:18:41 AM
If the record you posted above is a user account history, I think it means their withdrawal probably comes from another address. The address you mentioned is controlled by Huobi for deposit purposes, while they process user withdrawals with another address. I think this is common practice for centralized exchanges.
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MinerList: Miner price tracking and Advanced Coin Profitability Tools on: October 16, 2022, 09:56:42 AM
Does your website not support showing a hash rate below 1 H/s? I checked GRIN profitability on other websites and it seems like there is quite a huge difference between your data and theirs. I assume your code round the hash rate up, or it can't show any lower than 1 H/s, but then your 2080 TI is ok, while the rest is not. Maybe you should double-check it since most GPUs don't reach 1 H/s even at max TBP according to other sources.
2029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: USDT address check on: October 16, 2022, 09:46:23 AM
What is the wallet that you use to transfer your money? Does it not give you a tx id? If you still can't find it, maybe your transaction failed or your wallet has not broadcasted it yet. You can use Blockchair if you want an alternative explorer, it also shows omni transaction.
2030  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Info] List Bounty Campaign Yang Exchangeable [Ter-update] on: October 15, 2022, 03:36:48 PM
2031  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: self hosted crypto payment gateway (payid19.com) on: October 15, 2022, 02:29:02 PM
When we say open source, we mean that source codes are not encrypted.
And what does this mean compared to other projects? What makes your unencrypted services better than them since most of the time they're also unencrypted (but not disclosed to the public, hence closed source). I'm pretty sure you understand the differences and just use the term for marketing purpose, but keep in mind that you'll get into trouble sooner or later if one of your experienced customers find out.
2032  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC mining farm - Argentina - We are looking for investors on: October 15, 2022, 01:55:34 PM
There is just a lack of info about your company. Coinbase stated that you got around $80k in funding, and I think it is difficult for a mining company to run with that amount of money. I kinda understand why you seek investors, but even your public team doesn't instill any confidence. I think you should fix that first if you're serious about your business.
2033  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: PIN codes and Hardware Wallets on: October 15, 2022, 01:40:07 PM
bricking instead of simply securely wiping/shredding the data seems like a bug, not a feature, and simply forces the user to purchase another hardware wallet rather than just using their newly reset one to recovery from a back up.
I think from a business perspective this is the goal, so they buy again if they forget it. But they can also say something along the lines that it protects your assets if somebody stole them. In case you lost your wallet, the hacker has no chance to recover it while you can with another device/wallet as long as you have a backup.

2035  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Bitcoin Companies on: October 14, 2022, 01:12:43 PM
What do you mean by Bitcoin-only companies? Those who pay with Bitcoin, those who do Bitcoin-related business?

If you're trying to join them, maybe you can focus on your skill first. Translation, design, customer service, etc are usually open for remote positions (I work with some companies like this in the past). Check out the service board too, while the companies might not be as big as what you listed, some of them do hire people there.
2036  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Difference between cloud mining and hosted mining? on: October 14, 2022, 12:43:38 PM
The simplest way to explain this is that cloud mining is cost-efficient, whereas remote (hosted) mining gives you more control.
Such a nice way to summarize it, while probably ignoring the majority of the issues. OP, don't get trapped by marketing words like this. Not saying they are lying, but there are dozens of businesses that scam their users in the end while promising cost-efficient mining. Even if they are honest, the risk outweighs the benefit.

FYI, your link doesn't work.
2037  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What hardware wallet do you need? It depends on your situation and purposes. on: October 14, 2022, 12:19:56 PM
And it is more simple, safe and convenient take care about backups only. Just fewer physical things to take care about. Which increases safety, security and convenience.
As long as you regularly check it and make sure your backup is not damaged in any way. Honestly, I don't think you need to buy an HW either for this purpose (your post mentioned HW for key generation). As others have mentioned, a secure air-gapped device should be enough for this. Even a phone or something similar is okay as long as you can guarantee it is safe from malware etc before you use it to generate a new address.
2038  Local / Marketplace (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: WTS Twitter Account Followers 91K on: October 14, 2022, 12:05:38 PM
2039  Local / Altcoins (Bahasa Indonesia) / Re: [Q&A][TIPS] Seputar Bounty/Airdrop Di Sini on: October 14, 2022, 12:01:23 PM
2040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Reason why online wallets are hack on: October 13, 2022, 02:20:35 PM
This is true but nowadays there are online wallets that dominate the market and owned by trusted developer like trustwallet by Binance and Metamask founded by Aaron Davis which is both dox that eliminates the doubts on the developer of the wallet.
You should not avoid them if possible. Trusted or not, if the code is unknown or closed-source, there are chances that there is a bug that can be exploited or there might be malicious code inserted into the app. Not saying existing wallets do that, but there is a chance. Stick to open-source wallets if possible, and learn to verify or at least wait for public analysis on such wallets before using it.
