2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: where to invest with 30 000 usd on: August 06, 2022, 03:56:47 AM
PunkPanda is a project that aims to create privacy-focused products that change the data ownership paradigm by empowering users to keep their data private. You will like it.
This is new project and I think it's not safe to invest in new project and also it's not Listed on any big exchange.
If you have 30k Usd and want to safe Trade then you should use half of them for Btc and Etherium. Another 25 % for Web3 and Metaverse project and 25% hold spares . If market down you will buy more at low price

Using a capital of $ 30k to invest in a new project is a wrong decision, it will only make our money lost in vain. Moreover, $30k is not a small amount,
so we really have to invest in reliable and safe projects. I agree we should mostly buy BTC and ETH, which are top coins that have strong fundamentals.
This means that we are most likely to be able to make profits from BTC and ETH, the most important thing is to be patient holding until the target is
achieved. Maybe if we want to try investing in new projects, we can use about 10% of our capital, so if we experience a loss the impact is not too big.
We do have to manage our capital properly, so that our capital does not run out in vain.

This is bad advice, I think he is part of that project and he is trying to mislead people and then disappear after that.
30k dollars is not a small sum of money, and earning it isn't simple, with money like this, there is no better and safer coin than if you put them in bitcoin. Bitcoin will not give you x10, x100 profit but it can give you a decent profit and more importantly your 30k dollars will never be lost if invested in bitcoin .
2022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: August 06, 2022, 03:46:28 AM
I have heard about different types of seminars on Bitcoin in my area and they claim it is free of charge. But when one attend you would be told to pay for study material and a certificate to qualify you as a Bitcoiner. This has made many people avoid such learning platforms. Giving Bitcoin education for free is one of the best ways of inspiring and welcoming people to the Bitcoin space. The truth is not all your students or target would appreciate the message but some of them would see the opportunities Bitcoin offers and appreciate this priceless currency.

In my locality, this also occurs, and it is unfortunate that such groups offer free seminars but then charge the attendees for the materials.
Nowadays, with the development of the internet and social network, I think it will be better and more convenient when we can direct people to learn bitcoin from pre-compiled and free materials on social networking platforms like youtube.
2023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have started teaching Bitcoin to my Neighbors on: August 06, 2022, 03:29:18 AM
I also recommended it to my college friends many years ago, saying that it would really be one of those things that people look for and treat as a profitable investment. But maybe many things are still too vague for many people. When they are not ready to get close to them, some newcomers show up at the bearish phase and they say it's not good Smiley . However, in one aspect that has been through so many different cycles, I don't want to share more because it's clear that if you can't see the good in them and they give an immediate investment, then it's hard to be attractive to new people.

Put it the OP's way, introduce bitcoin to them, the technology and the difference between bitcoin, banking and traditional fiat. Don't put too much emphasis on bitcoin as an investment for those who have never heard of bitcoin, its volatile nature will scare them more than interested.

Try again with them, teach them how to use bitcoin, how bitcoin works and it would be great if you could do some transactions show them, I think they will have a different view of bitcoin.

What is the point in giving racial quota in sports teams? A lot of promising white players never got a chance to play international cricket because of this system.

What do you mean that white players could not play in the South African team because of the quota system? There have been white players playing in the South African team for quite a long time ago.

I agree that the quota system is not flawless. Actually, it is not even good. But that never deprived white people of their rights. And how did white people suddenly become victims of this system?
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: August 05, 2022, 03:33:37 PM
Rabada is nowhere near legends such as Alan Donald or Dale Steyn. And even if we consider him as one of the success stories of the quota system, for every success there are 10 unsuccessful experiments such as Bavuma and Pehlukwayo. I don't even want to mention dozens of promising players, who quit South Africa because they felt humiliated after being told that they couldn't be selected because of their skin color. What happened before 1994 is bad. But that shouldn't be used as a justification to discriminate against a racial group, especially those who born after 1994.
I feel that Rabada is already a legend even though you share a different opinion of him. He is one of the best bowlers in recent years and I like his temperament too. Comparing him to Donald, Steyn etc is unfair since they have a lot more experience in comparison.

Also, racism exists everywhere(Not just South Africa), but the current lineup still has a great mix of white and black players who have been performing consistently well these days.

Kagiso Rabada has already proved a lot of things. He currently does not have anything to prove to anyone in my opinion. But I am not willing to say that he is a legend. """"Legend"""" is a term that is often used right now and that's why I think the word has lost its value. I am not suggesting that Rabada is a bad player. I am just saying that he is not quite a legend in my opinion. I believe he is still a long way away from that.

And if we talk about racism, there is no cure to that unless people become educated and think of everyone as the same. People have to understand that black people are also human. Moreover, they have the same rights as white people.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so many Derivative Exchanges are filling for Bankcruptcy ? on: August 05, 2022, 09:17:40 AM
Just came across a latest news that "Zipmex" is another exchange which have filed for Bankruptcy , after Voyager and others.. What do you think is the real reason for so many exchanges going down.

1) Could the reason be that they have inflated their trading volume , which is now they cannot sustain the real volume at time of dip

2) They lack liquidity

3) Exchanges have invested their liquidity somewhere else which is becoming hard to recover

4) Does it has to do anything with the global inflation that we might see in coming future

5) Do you think its good for the market where cheap players would be shutting down and people can have more robust platforms in future where they would be ready in situations like this.

6) Most Importantly its the people's money, will traders be able to cope up or have faith in trading crypto in future if they lose money like this??

I don't hear this exchange so I conclude that they are not famous one so maybe the reason why they file bankruptcy its because they didn't reach more crypto traders globally. So if they are not earning reliable profits to sustain their business then this will happen to them. Maybe those filling a bankruptcy status is to lessen up the damage they can get to their costumers and other entities who they owe money.

This is an exchange in Southeast Asia, with headquarters in Singapore and Zipmex with branches in Australia and Indonesia.
Zipmex was one of the exchanges involved in the collapse of Terra and the investment fund Three Arrow Capital, so it is not surprising that they declared bankruptcy.
Luna's death is the root cause of the recent crashes, the consequences are really too big for the market, are there any other companies or exchanges that will go bankrupt because of luna?
2027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 44 countries will meet in El Salvador to discuss Bitcoin on: August 05, 2022, 09:03:15 AM
The name El-Salvador will never be omitted or forgotten in the history of Bitcoin for her bold move for being the first country to make Bitcoin a legal tender in the world. Up until now, it never stop paving ways for other countries and institutions.
It must be appreciated what the leaders of Elsavador have done by adopting bitcoin as a legal tender, because as a leader, they must always have a visionary mission to see the future that will happen.

Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador has a far-sighted view, that bitcoin will be able to help the economy for his country. Although this action has been criticized a lot but as a leader who knows what will happen in the future with bitcoin, of course he will do it wisely and measuredly.

hopefully what elsavador is doing will continue to be followed by many other countries and will make bitcoin trusted and able to compete in the future, of course it is not easy to convince all parties of this.

Bitcoin is going through a winter, most people's wealth is down and Elsavador is not immune to doubts about their bitcoin holdings. But I believe that once the bear season is over and the bull season comes, when bitcoin will bounce back and generate $100k ATH as everyone has predicted, then all doubts about El Salvador will be removed. I am confident that at least two or three of these 44 countries will follow El Salvador's example.
As long as bitcoin rebounds and Elsavador proves they were right to accept bitcoin, the bitcoin effect of the legal tender will quickly spread.
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: August 04, 2022, 04:44:30 PM
Not only in the Test format, but if Kohli fails to return to form before the World Cup, he will be out of all formats. India now has a worthy replacement for Kohli. Gill and Deepak Hooda have proved their mettle. Kohli has been out of form for a long time, India management has given Kohli plenty of opportunities. But Kohli has failed every time. I don't think the India management will give such a player a chance in the squad for much longer. If Kohli can't return to form then he should take willingly retirement. It is more honorable for him.
Now India is rich in cricketers because they have the enough number of quality batsmen which can give good performance in all formats so here it's good time for selectors to give them chance and take advantage of this quality and performance which is surely going to be positive for them because now Kohli is having not good mindset for playing into game with having no domestic practice and poor run in International cricket which is hurting India badly with fans are also losing their patience with him.
Right now, SKY is at number no 2 in twenty20 cricket, and he also can perform good in ODI which is going to help this youngster for test format as well even this need some more time but surely a good chance for them.
@BALIK I feel that Virat should focus on his ODI career because he can slowly and steadily build his innings, but if he fails to do that too then he’ll definitely be asked to retire or face the humiliation of being dropped. However I strongly feel that he’ll be given some more opportunities, hence we should not expect any news about him being dropped anytime soon.

Actually, the selectors have a lot of confidence in Virat Kohli. However, he is still a very respected player in India. So, I believe he will be given more chances. But I highly doubt that he will still be very respected if he is not able to perform for his team.

I think he should look to improve in ODI cricket. Because it is very unpredictable in T-20. And test cricket should not be his thing at this age, you know how much skill test cricket needs. So, he should concentrate on the ODI format and if he shows good results in one-day internationals, then he will eventually be called to play in 20-over cricket.

Agreed. They have been accepting black players for a long time now and some of them have established themselves as legends in the world of Cricket.
Players like Rabada etc are some great examples. They just need a solid captain like Smith to guide them.
Rabada is nowhere near legends such as Alan Donald or Dale Steyn. And even if we consider him as one of the success stories of the quota system, for every success there are 10 unsuccessful experiments such as Bavuma and Pehlukwayo. What happened before 1994 is bad. But that shouldn't be used as a justification to discriminate against a racial group, especially those who born after 1994.

I feel like people just say that Rabada is a good player just because they don’t want to be racist  Grin.

South Africa has a lot of talent. They are obviously one of the best in the world. I'm not sure if this is the case right now, different skin colors are always going to exist. White guys are always thinking of themselves as the supreme people of the world. This has been a problem for South African cricket for a long time.

It is not just a problem for cricket, it is a problem for the entire world. And we have seen a lot of players lose their way just because of racism. Things are getting better, but have not been fixed totally.

At one point Kohli was compared with Sachin Tendulkar. He himself has confessed that if anyone who can break all his records is Kohli. He also went through the same rough patch in his career as a cricketer. He is to date considered as God of cricket but he was never arrogant and crazy for fame. There are a lot of cricket fans in India like me who hate Kholi for his fasad off and on the field. I do not think he deserve any respect but he is again a one of the only kind who has a lot of connections. I don't want this guy to get selected for the Asia Cup, as after 2019 his performance has gone down but his attitude on field has not. I am sure that he will get selected but if he doesn't perform well in this cup then he will face the wrath and might get permanently dropped.

There are a lot of people talking shit about Virat Kohli at this time. But we have to realize that this is just a phase and Virat Kohli will have to do his part to overcome it. Yes, he is a tiny bit more arrogant and egoistic. But perhaps it's just his nature and we honestly cannot do anything about it. Now the only thing which Virat Kohli should think about is how to improve his cricket and stay out of politics. That is obviously going to be difficult because his wife is a big Bollywood star.

So attention comes his way even though he does not want it. It will be extremely difficult for Virat Kohli to improve and also stay away from the life of fame. However, he will have to do that for his own sake. If he does not get selected for the T20 World Cup then it is going to be a blessing in disguise in my opinion. That will give him time to reflect on himself and probably make him a lot more humble.

Any upgraded contract from any cricket board would not address IPL situation but new random franchise cricket around the world.
For ex CA trying to work on Warner etc contract as they want him to play in BBL. BBL's last leg is clashing with UAE league and latter is offering big amount of money for just 15 days.
Also leagues like UAE came up with some ridiculous idea. Teams are allowed to have 9 foreign players + 2 local players, which means high demand for foreign players in specific window.
Salaries are shockingly low in the BBL and that is the reason why a large number of the Australian players don't want any association with that league. And also, I am not surprised with the overseas quota in the UAE league. Even the 2 "local" players in the XI are likely to be foreign citizens as they don't have any native players. All that said, the Emirates Cricket Board is one of the richest in the world and they can afford to pay huge salaries to star players. Other leagues will have a hard time competing with them for players.
Low salaries are part of it but not the main problem.
Summer is considered best season to play cricket in Australia that's why Nov-Jan is always booked with some kind of high profile test series (boxing day etc).
Problem is they keep BBL schedule at the same time and it's a long schedule for some weird reason which i don't know. And when schedule get relaxed then no high profile players subscribes to local franchise.

Yes, I agree but the salaries are also part of the problem. According to some players, they are getting paid so much in the IPL and the salary in the BBL is nothing compared to that. However, there are other problems as well, like the IPL which was the first of its kind and will always have a large number of fans and viewers.

Doesn’t matter how old it gets. The population of India itself is enough to generate enough revenue. But on the other hand, cricket is not the only sport that is popular in Australia. So the population is quite divided in terms of what sports they like. So the revenue also gets divided. It is not necessarily a bad thing for Australia but it is not necessarily the best thing for cricket as well.

The advantage is that here you get a huge number of people interested in cryptocurrencies. Communication with them, with the ability to ask questions you do not understand and receive answers in several opinions,

Where is there such a thing? Telegram groups? I don't think it's any more convenient. All communication eventually goes down in history, and it is simply impossible to take an interest in all the posts of a person who has become interesting to you. After all, telegram groups are notorious for having numerous people seeking to deceive someone.

If we say that many articles have been written about Bitcoin and there is a lot of information on the Internet, then in any case, through communication and repetition of the incomprehensible, in other words, information is better absorbed. That's what this forum is for.

But to all the pluses, of course, I will add the motivation to receive some financial benefits.

Here we will hear the truth from long-term and experienced investors rather than exaggerated advertising like other social networks. Besides knowledge and a place to learn, bitcointalk is a place to analyze projects with honest comments from members. Where you will instead of hearing hype from Shiller, you will hear real reviews from experienced members of the market.

Telegram is very convenient for messaging, but telegram groups don't have any trust, they create groups to discuss but they always abuse their power such as blocking, deleting messages that affect the projects they are shilling, our freedom of speech does not exist.

In a way, it's like you're comparing bitcoins with shitcoins. why do people only use and trust bitcoin, but they treat altcoins like garbage dumps? In the same way that bitcoin is of high quality, so is bitcointalk.

I have also visited the 3 forums you mentioned and created an account on altcoinstalk forum but I don't have any discussion there yet. One thing must be recognized is that the content there is not as rich, vibrant and quality as here. The original will be and always will be the best, copies can never be compared.
2034  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cryptocurrency Regulations on: August 03, 2022, 02:48:05 AM
The government regulating the cryptocurrency industry in general is going to achieve little to none. They literally can't even stop traditional finance scams; what more crypto.

I am of the opinion that some kind of legal regulation is still needed in cryptocurrency. complete anarchy is not exactly the best solution, really fertile ground for attracting various types of scams.
I agree with you about the poor management of traditional finance scams, but out of all rules, cryptocurrencies will only become playgrounds for scammers.

It is true that we are afraid that regulation will cause us to lose our freedom, lose our decentralization. Nevertheless, without any regulation for cryptocurrencies, it will become a very messy and complicated issue, criminals will take advantage of this loophole to wreak havoc. Regulations will not be able to completely prevent fraudulent and scam acts but will reduce them somewhat and criminals will be held responsible for their deceitful acts.

I do not think Kohli's current problems are solely the result of his own actions. I think the huge expectation from him also has something to do with it. I believe that too much expectation has also got the better of him. India is obviously a cricket-crazy nation. So if a player is playing badly or is not up to the mark, people tend to point that out. So there is always some kind of pressure on the players because of that.
True, but he hasn't been performing well for years now which implies that all the blame against him is justified to some extent. The fans wanted him to become the next MSD, but he ended up becoming an average captain.
He is used to coping with pressure thanks to his immense experience which is why I feel that factors like advertisements, Bollywood, TV shows etc affected him a lot more in comparison.

The problem is, in India any successful cricketer is a very big public figure. Obviously, Virat Kohli is one of the biggest stars in cricket in the whole world. So he is obviously also a star in India. It is also interesting to notice that people not only in India but also on the foreign subcontinent talk a lot negatively about star players when they do not perform up to expectations. Virat Kohli has made it harder on himself by concentrating on Bollywood and politics. The only thing I can hope for is that he will be able to perform better. But he will have to work really hard for that. Sincerely, he needs to come out of the world he is currently in.

This is going to be a very difficult decision for Barcelona to make because they desperately need Frankie De Jong on the team and they urgently need money. The way Barcelona have spent money this season I think if Chelsea comes up with a really compelling offer they are more likely to accept that. Obviously, Chelsea also has the ability to make such an offer.

But Manchester United is also very interested. I know that they are not playing in the Champions League. But what if they present a very lucrative offer compared to Chelsea? Obviously, the negotiation with the player might break down because he would not want to downgrade himself. So in that way, Chelsea has more chances.

Chelsea are increasing their attempts for Frenkie de Jong currently. Manchester United are very unlucky that they can't sign him because of not being part of the Champions League this season. Barcelona manager Xavi said that they still had no idea about whether de Jong would leave the team soon. It depends on Chelsea's offer of course. I don't expect them to refrain from spending a huge sum of money as they are in a very solid financial condition.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: August 01, 2022, 03:03:25 PM
The biggest difference between West Indies and India in that match was the economy of the bowlers. The West Indies bowlers were not economical at all. But at the same time, the Indian bowlers bowled really economically. There was only one bowler from the West Indies who had a good economy. Akeal Hosein bowled 4 overs and conceded only 14 runs taking 1 wicket. The others did not do well at all. Alzarri Joseph had an economy of over 11 and Keemo Paul had an economy of 12. On the other hand, the highest economy of any Indian bowler in that match was 6.50. In a T-20 match having an economy under seven is absolutely remarkable. And that is where West Indies lost the match.

It was more about Indian bowlers doing a good job containing Windies to a low score. With a batting pitch, they managed to do a good job getting wickets at crucial times and curtailing the score. Windies batters are always hot or cold though. You just never know what you are going to get and psychology is never an issue with them. Ball just needs to connect with a couple of batsmen and the score just inflates like a balloon that has no bounds.

Well said. So many great cricketers messed up their careers by dabbling with politics and movies for the sake of fame and money(Imran Khan etc).
Kohli clearly couldn't handle the pressure as the captain of the Indian team across all formats which ultimately affected his batting skills too. This is why I do agree with what you said about them doing him a favor by giving him a break.

INO stands for — Initial NFT Offering

You are welcome.
I googled it too and it did show tell me what INO is? You probably just google INO and didn't show anything because INO isn't a trend yet and people don't go around looking for INO. Use other crypto related keywords and you will get the result you were looking for.

So what is this post about? What are you trying to say here?

...an alternative to the recent IEO, IDO, IGO trends.

What's IGO?
IGO is an acronym that stands for Initial Gaming Offering. According to my memory, the term was introduced at the end of October 2021, when the play-to-earn industry was booming. It seems that the term quickly fell out of favor as the market began to fall in November. But like we said, whatever it changes its name to they are just a form of fundraising, the renaming is just an excuse to reset the market.

It's really hard to guess how Barcelona can sign expensive players, even though they are still facing a financial crisis, and there is still a possibility that they will encounter an issue because they still have to register these new players. I guess someone will be sacrificed here, whether it's selling some players or reducing their salary. Well even though it won't be easy (like De Jong who insisted he didn't want to be released to Man United), I think Barcelona will work on it.
Barcelona have forced themselves to spend too much in this transfer window where they spent 135 million as reported by Transfermarkt. It may not make sense to most people because at the same time they are going through a bad financial crisis. But somehow they are optimistic enough to be able to balance the situation even though they have to kick several players in order to register other players.

I watched their game against NRB, it was a good game for the Barcelona players but it's a shame Lewandowski again missed his goal opportunity. Dembele, Raphinha played well and that is the best thing this season. Dembele seems to be scoring more and more goals and he is starting to feel comfortable playing in various positions. I hope he can perform better this season especially because he is supported by other players who are also no less good.

Even though Barcelona has made some really smart transfers this season, I am still skeptical that they will be able to do something truly incredible. To me, doing something really incredible means winning the La Liga title and the Champions League title. That is the only way they will be able to make sense of all the money that they have spent this season.

And I absolutely know that Robert Lewandowski is going to have to be the one to score the bulk of goals, the same thing he did when he played for Bayern Munich. Otherwise, Barcelona is most likely to find things really difficult for them. Barcelona had a problem regarding the defensive line. But they did make some upgrades. I just think Barcelona risked it too much.
