Already the number of pages in this topic will soon reach 7,000 pages. When will bitcoin grow, what will happen to Dash? Will not it be lost among thousands of coins? The coin is already quite old.
When you plant seeds, things tend to grow. Dash has planted plenty of seeds, so i believe Dash will grow. And with regards to Dash old age and getting lost : All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost. - J. R. R. Tolkien

Hello:
I want to be a good crusader for DASH but I need a graph or some numbers showing how much DASH has risen against BTC over the past couple of months.
Does anyone have a graph or some numbers I can show people who are interested in buying cryptos?
Thank you
You can use these charts : https://cryptowat.ch/markets/poloniex/dash/btc/1whttps://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dash/#chartsJust be informed that Bitcoin and pretty much all the altcoins (including Dash) have been in a very strong bear market this year and only recentely (september) started to bottom out. It is not even sure Bitcoin and the altcoins are currently out of the bear market, basicly it is too soon to tell.

https://www.coindesk.com/the-latest-bitcoin-bug-was-so-bad-developers-kept-its-full-details-a-secret/While this sounded bad enough for many, it turns out developers for Bitcoin Core kept a second, bigger part of the bug a secret. As disclosed through an official Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) report, an attacker could have actually used it to create new bitcoin – above the 21 million hard-cap of coin creation – thereby inflating the supply and devaluing current bitcoins. This makes the latest mandatory Dash update that contains a hotfix for the Bitcoin vulnerability (mentioned in above link) even more important. It also makes me wonder if Dash and any other direct forks from Bitcoin, were informed by Bitcoin's Core-Team in time about this bug, including receiving full details about the "secret" part. Since mining pools can be notoriously slow on updating, i hope this additional information does not put Dash network in any danger. Emphasis should now be on having Dash mining pools update as soon as possible Current update progress with regards to versions seen on the network in the last 24 hours : https://chainz.cryptoid.info/dash/#!network (i assume these include the Dash mining pools) 50,7% updated to v0.12.3.3 23,0 % still on older version 0.12.3.2 ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F9vog0xY.jpg&t=662&c=dJH2zg-GT0IS1g)

https://cryptocoinspy.com/tether-usdt-delisting-following-trust-questions/https://en.bitnovosti.com/2018/03/27/bit-z-crypto-exchange-will-delist-tether-tokens/So we now have two exchanges that delisted Tether : Digifinex : who delisted Tether and added TrueUSD Bit-Z : who delisted Tether Personally i dont use any stablecoin, but i would be very very carefull with using Tether, its operating way too shady. If i were to choose a stablecoin, it would have to be fully accountable, backed up by strict regulation, legally protected and operating independently (for example TrueUSD is a ERC token, that has a dependency on Ethereum's network). Maybe i would go for the Gemini Dollar, as the Gemini exchange itself is regulated very well and provides good legal protection. I suspect Tether's role will start to diminish over time, if they keep operating like they do now.

SEC Begins Reviewing Physically-Backed Bitcoin ETF, Will Examine 1,400 Commentshttps://www.ccn.com/sec-begins-reviewing-physically-backed-bitcoin-etf-will-examine-1400-comments/According to the order dated Sept. 20 and published on the SEC’s website, the regulatory agency will now consider whether, pursuant to federal securities guidelines, it should approve the fund — the VanEck Solidx Bitcoin Trust — for listing on CBOE BZX Exchange. The order comes as somewhat of a surprise. CBOE first filed to list shares of the VanEck Solidx Bitcoin Trust in June, and in August the SEC postponed ruling on the application, setting a new deadline of Sept. 30. Many analysts, including Canadian investment firm Canaccord, speculated that the SEC would likely delay ruling on the fund once more, until March 2019.

I remember the story all too well : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FW4JzgKi.jpg&t=662&c=7BXw1XYUmOyWzQ) ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FLg8BlKK.jpg&t=662&c=loFfMFl9aV-frQ) Looks like you went a bit too far there. In general it is a bad idea to disrupt github like that. OH NO! YOU DONT REMEMBER THE STORY, SINCE ALL MY COMMENTS HAVE BEEN DELETED!!! ALONG WITH MY ENTIRE GITHUB REPOSITORY!!! Yes, because you were disrupting the Github forum with your off topic comments. The consequences were communicated very clear to you. I'm not surprised of the outcome. You should really draw a line between disrupting a forum like Bitcointalk with your censorship theme and trying to disrupt a forum like Github, where devs are hard at work and dont want to be distracted by off topic comments. This of course also puts the whole "censorship" theme of yours in another light... Edit : no need to shout...

I compiled 12.3.3 and everything was ok. But when I tried to run dash-qt the following error occured three times in the console (dash-qt:2119): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 19:37:54.249: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_CONNECTION (connection)' failed (dash-qt:2119): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 19:37:54.250: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_CONNECTION (connection)' failed (dash-qt:2119): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 19:37:54.250: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_CONNECTION (connection)' failed (dash-qt:2547): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 19:49:04.879: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_CONNECTION (connection)' failed (dash-qt:2547): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 19:49:04.879: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_CONNECTION (connection)' failed (dash-qt:2547): GLib-GIO-CRITICAL **: 19:49:04.879: g_dbus_proxy_new: assertion 'G_IS_DBUS_CONNECTION (connection)' failed ..Dash-qt does not connect with any masternode server. "0 active connections to the dash network" and also |"HD key generation is disabled" What wrong @udjim6? Am I doing something wrong? Is there a critical bug in your core wallet? Normally i would refer you to : https://github.com/dashpay/dash/issues for better visibility, but since you went on a spamming spree there a few months ago you may have burned some bridges there. Same with the dash.org/forum i guess. I am not spamming. I just cannot post an issue in github. The developers of dash reported me there, and I am banned. Neither I can post the bug in dashtalk or in discord, you also banned me there. Do you remember the story of my ban in github? Let me remind it to you! Some remaining of the censorship in github are still visible, through the people who quoted my comments there: https://github.com/dashpay/dash/pull/2083#issuecomment-393044779This is a shame. You are trying to write the IP addresses of the masternodes in the blockchain! This is an awfull crime against privacy. THIS COIN USED TO BE DARKCOIN ONCE UPON TIMES!!! How it ended like this??Even Vitalik is a pro-privacy now, but the dashcore team goes against the stream! https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1000869998385074176 Some other remainings are in dashtalk: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/which-masternodes-voted-and-what-exactly-voted-on-various-proposals-v2.34403/#post-189144Yes, the github is now 404, can someone from DASH comment on this? What grounds was the repo reported on? I didn't think it was malicious or 'bad' in anyway, it was just aggregating data from the network. Am I missing something here?
For your sake i hope UdjinM6 does not have you on ignore in this bitcointalk forum....

Will there be another single dot post demo ? or have i ruined that for you now ? I hate to disrupt your spamming strategy in here ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) Lets face it, only spammers post single dot posts right after their own post, dont ask me why they do that ... it does not make sense to me either. I guess it only makes sense for spammers themself ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif) I just posted the same message twice, and I wanted to discard the second copy. Thats all. Thats the meaning of the dot message I posted. The dot simply reminds me the error I did. If you dont like it, I can delete the dot message entirely. That makes sense now, good to see you follow the 7 C's again.

If you want to join the demo16 clan, send me a private message and I ll send you the password. Sorry for the confusion, but i voted 1 to stop you from spreading your password. who think demo16 should have his own not-shared account in here ?
Vote 1 for yes Vote 2 for no So far a majority is for option 1 Any idea when you will be setting up your new not-shared account ? Edit : changed non-sharing to not-shared, as i'm starting to think non-sharing does not even exist as word. I like your poll, and I will accept its outcome. My only concern is about fake and alternative accounts, that may vote in the poll and affect its outcome. Any idea on how we can rid off fake and alternative accounts that may vote in this poll? No worries, i have that covered : ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2F3QzP1RE.png&t=662&c=uDJq1vq1-ZUuHw)

This whole multi-user account thing is just getting a bit too complicated demo16, why not just have one account for yourself and a seperate account for your buddy's that got censored or banned or whatever ? I'm having a hard time following which user is the real demo of your multi-user demo16 account, and i sense i'm not alone You know what, lets vote on it : who think demo16 should have his own not-shared account in here ? Vote 1 for yes Vote 2 for no (there is something about voting with numbers i find intriguing)
