You don't understand what's going on.  The things the terrorists hate most are our freedom, democracy, tolerance, pluralism and decency.  It's nothing more than provocation on their part.  They want you to lower yourself to their level.  They're goading you into fighting on their terms.  They know that the more we try to tighten our grip, the more radicalised individuals we create.  They want you to abandon all the things that make us who we are to fight them.  Stop falling for it like an idiot.  Stop giving in.

For every person calling for a crackdown, deportations, destruction of mosques, etc, you are the ones attacking the exact same freedoms that the terrorists themselves are attacking.  You're giving extremists exactly what they want, namely more extremism and further escalation.  You don't defeat terrorists by letting them win.

Try thinking it through to conclusion for a change.  There are ways to beat terrorism that don't include debasing your morals to the point that you're no better than they are.  Pity you're already there, though.  Just don't expect the rest of us to join you.

Trump did the right thing. Other nations such as Saudi Arabia and China are causing more pollution (on a per capita basis), and still the burden of reducing the climate change is falling on just the western nations and Japan. Everyone has to share the burden. 

That still doesn't address the main concern. Right now, most of the burden is on the United States and the European Union. China and countries such as Saudi Arabia are not required to make much sacrifices. The agreement needs to be modified, to make it palatable to all.

The carbon dating and tree ring processes work. Why believe in them? They are known.

The thing that is unknown is how far into the past these things worked the same as they do in the present. If they happen to have worked a lot differently 5,000 years ago, and we knew how they worked back then, our interpretation of earth age would be different.

Since we don't know how they worked back then, we can use them only to present a guesswork picture of the age of the earth. Did you catch that? Guesswork.

Same said ice layer depositing, and every other method for measuring past ages. They are all essentially circular references, since they are based on the past acting the same as the present. But we don't know if the past acted the same as the present. Because of this, they can't be used for any more that guesses. We don't know how old the earth is.
