The MyPillow Guy’s Fever Dream
In a bizarre, two-hour-plus disinfomercial on OANN, an election conspiracist sells a myth of a victory stolen.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/02/05/arts/television/mike-lindell-mypillow.html

Some of my favorite parts:

He claims that Mr. Trump not only won the election but won by such a margin that he “broke the algorithm” of voting machines.

For hours on end, Mr. Lindell spun that audience the story it craved, then implored it to help him spread that story through social media. Onscreen, a graphic showed a smartphone bubbling out the logos of social-media platforms, including, for some reason, the online-payment system Venmo and Google Plus, which shut down in 2019.

It’s tempting just to laugh at all this. And make no mistake, you should laugh at all this! It is a healthy sign that after years of alternative facts, you have still retained some sense of reality and the absurd.

But you should also cry, a little. Because it’s not hard to imagine an audience who wants to believe, seeing the world maps with menacing lines purporting to show “hacking,” hearing the talk of “cyberforensics,” and concluding, still, that there must be something to all this.

Mike Lindell’s argument may not have merit or coherence. But he has a sense of his market, of what plays through their heads when they turn out the lights and their heads hit their pillows.

In fact, you don’t need to imagine them. Just look at pictures from the Capitol on Jan. 6.

That was nice of Kevin McCarthy to offer to not call for Liz Cheneys resignation or something (the #3 Republican who voted to impeach Trump) in exchange for letting Qanon Marge keep a seat on a committee.  But those evil democrats said no deal.

There is military machinery in place that could actually give Trump two more terms, depending on the direction that the military moves.

Cool

They have the machinery to make Jussie Sommellet president if they wanted to.

The fee they're charging is in line with a reasonable network fee if you hope to have it confirmed next block.

But if you're making small deposits or withdraws with Bitcoin, you're doing it wrong.  I'd recommend paying the 2 or 3% fee to exchange with dinabot for trx or ltc and then withdraw for about 5 cents and stick with anything but bitcoin going forward.
We can't just tell people "if you do not want to pay 10 bucks you should go with some other coin" like they are the wrong ones. We are talking about stake here, first of all stake could pay everyone's fee and would still be getting a ton of customers but leaving that aside, I believe for someone who has low amounts of money 10 bucks is huge and they may want to pay less, at that point we all know stake collects a lot of payments together and sends them all together which makes it cheaper so at the end of the day stake could offer 5 bucks and even less for transactions.

So, to tell the customer to use another coin like it is their fault that stake charges 10 bucks is not really a nice move, it is really victim shaming and you should be ashamed of it. I say stake could basically drop their charge 50% and combine it and send all transactions combined whenever it reaches to a point, customers can wait 1-2 hours that is fine.

I don't work for stake but see no issue with explaining how to avoid bitcoins ridiculous fees.  I almost feel obligated to  explain it to someone making small btc transactions with any frequency.

How is pod save the world? Been looking into a new podcast that goes in depth into things and it keeps coming up, but curious on what sort of slant I’ll be getting with it.

Very liberal.  It's hosted by Ben Rhodes (Obamas Deputy National Sec Advisor) and Tommy Vietor (Spokesperson for the National Security Council).  If you can get past the rants about Republicans they do a really good job of explaining foreign policy and the history that led to where we are now.  THere's also some good stories, like what the flight was like on AF1 with Obama after Trumps inaguration, or when he walked in on the Queen of England thinking it was a mens room, not a single person unisex bathroom.   First half is always good imo, second half is always an interview - hit or miss.

If you're looking for something super interesting and educational without as much political bias (there's still a little) check out The Deal. It's an evergreen series (not current events), only 5 episodes, hosted by the director of a big Non-proliferation program.  Very well produced, made me think about things differently.

We are not talking about "yesterday" or "today" but the time I wanted to make my withdrawal.

From Feb 2nd:

the fee right now would be way less than 10$.

'Your withdrawal will have 0.00030000 subtracted from your remaining balance to cover the fee required to process the transaction."

Thats 10$ withdrawal fee, are you crazy?

At the moment 25sat/b would be way enough. This site really is robbing its players. How often do you want to raise the withdrawal fee?

Which is why I posted on Feb 3:

The average fee yesterday in USD was $14.26

'Yesterday' on Feb 3 is Feb 2, the same day you said 'the fee right now would be way less than 10$'

Sorry if that wasn't clear.

From davidicke.com ^^^

Let's learn a little about this man David Icke:

Quote
David Vaughan Icke (/ˈdeɪvɪd vɔːn aɪk/; born 29 April 1952) is an English conspiracy theorist,[1][3][4][5] and a former footballer and sports broadcaster.[6] Icke has written more than 20 books and has lectured in over 25 countries.[7][8]

In 1990, while a spokesman for the Green Party, he visited a psychic who informed Icke he had been placed on earth for a purpose and Icke would begin to receive messages from the spirit world.[9] These events led him to announce the following year that he was a "Son of the Godhead"[6] and that the world would soon be devastated by tidal waves and earthquakes, a prediction he repeated on the BBC's primetime show Wogan.[10][11] Icke's appearance on the show led to public ridicule in the United Kingdom.[12]

Quote
Icke believes that the universe is made up of "vibrational" energy and consists of an infinite number of dimensions that share the same space.[14][15][16] He claims that an inter-dimensional race of reptilian beings called the Archons (or Anunnaki) have hijacked the earth, and that a genetically modified human–Archon hybrid race of shape-shifting reptilians known as the Babylonian Brotherhood, the Illuminati, or the "elite", manipulate global events to help keep humans in constant fear, so the Archons can feed off the "negative energy" this creates.[14][17][18][19] He claims many prominent public figures belong to the Babylonian Brotherhood and are propelling humanity toward an Orwellian global fascist state, or New World Order, a post-truth era where freedom of speech is ended.[9][14][20][21] Icke believes that the only way this "Archontic" influence can be defeated is if people wake up to the truth and fill their hearts with love.[14] Critics have accused Icke of being antisemitic and a Holocaust denier with his theories about reptilians serving as a deliberate "code".[22][23][24] Icke denied being a racist.[25]

Nice, Tash.  You never let me down.

What I said is a fact, actually.  Feel free to dispute it and I'll provide the evidence.

If you think he's innocent or above the law, just say so.  Playing the 'it was political' card over and over removes credibility from all your posts.  You could say that about any politician that commits a crime - it doesn't mean politicians should not be held accountable.

Depends on the point that they’re trying to argue here. If they’re trying to say that Cohen was targeted due to being close to Trump and the Mueller campaign saw that he could potentially flip on Trump (which he did) — Then I’d say that’s true. I’m pretty sure (don’t quote me) that he wasn’t being investigated prior to the Mueller probe starting.

With this line of thought, then the Mueller probe was the reason for Michael Cohen getting charged with his crimes.

Let me know if that line of thought is wrong, will gladly read some of the stuff on that. Shit feels so long ago now.
What you are saying is that Cohen was prosecuted for political reasons -- to cause damage to Trump, who is was the leader of the opposition party of the "career" DOJ prosecutors who decided to prosecute Cohen.

What I'm saying is Cohen was charged for lying to Congress.  He told Congress that Trump didn't have any ongoing business deals in Russia after Trump won the GOP nomination. Trump told the public the same thing.  In reality, Trump was continuing forward with his "Trump World Tower Moscow" project and even signed a letter of intent.

I actually left something off my list that Trump could face charges for that Cohen was also involved in.  He was convicted for campaign finance violations when, "in coordination with and at the direction of a candidate for federal office (Trump)" , he created a shell company to pay a porn star who Trump had an affair with $130,000 without having to report it to the FEC.

Edit: I mixed up the Porn Star and Trump Tower Moscow issues.  I'm not sure if Trump is exposed to any criminal charges for the Trump Tower Moscow lies since he only lied about it to the public, not under oath.  It's the campaign finance charges that he's an unindicted coconspirator for.  Feels like a million years ago that stuff happened.
2035  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump for prison. on: February 04, 2021, 05:25:43 AM
Can someone outline these crimes please?

- He's already an unindicted coconspirator in campaign finance charges his lawyer already served prison time for.
<>
Naming Trump in that case was a political move intended to hurt Trump. The prosecution of Cohen was political, and Cohen decided to become a Trump opponent in order to gain leniency. Bringing this up really removes credibility from your post.

My zero-research take on things is that if the previous bitch was a favorite with the globalists, the people will probably be better served by the military cleaning up things for a while.

If 'exercise instructors' can stop wearing a mask during physical exercise, alone, and outdoors, under the new 'military dictatorship' then it's very solid evidence that the military is more on the side of the peeps than was the previous globalist certified dictatorship.

Just listened to the latest pod save the world and learned a bunch about this.

The 'previous bitch' (Aung San Suu Kyi) was first elected in 1990 with over 80% of the votes after campaigning on making changes to their constitution that would strip some political power from the Military.  So they captured her before the election, nullified the results, and basically locked her in her own home for ~20 years. (they assassinated most members of her party, and prob would of killed her, but it could have caused a revolt as her father was like their version of George Washington)

In 2015 (25 years later) she ran again, and won more than 80% of the vote again.  So this time the Military added a clause to the rules that made her ineligible since her her husband was born in another country.  Instead of locking her up this time, they made a new roll and allowed her to be 'State Counselor' while the Military was able to keep their power while she handled the more public stuff.

Then beginning in 2015-16 there was the whole genocide thing where the Military executed ~25k Muslims, gang raped 18,000 muslim women and children, and burned down ~100k Muslim homes.  Almost 1 million Muslims fled the country.  Mission accomplished.

In the November 2020 election Aung San Suu Kyi won again by a landslide and then started talking about amending the constitution again.  The Military claimed there was widespread election fraud and despite no evidence to support their claims locked up Aung San Suu Kyi and here we are today.

Fun Fact: Back in 2016 facing enormous pressure Facebook started banning top Military leaders for spreading misinformation that was leading to violence.  Here's a good article about it: A Genocide Incited on Facebook, With Posts From Myanmar’s Military

No the fee was not in line with the network fee, just as I explained. Below 0.0001 would have been enough to get it confirmed in the next block and I paid 3 times that.

Here's a quick overview on how btc tx fees work: https://support.blockchain.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000939883-Explaining-bitcoin-transaction-fees

The average fee yesterday in USD was $14.26
https://www.blockchain.com/charts/fees-usd-per-transaction

I checked a couple bitcoin fee calculators for segwit 2 input/2 output transactions with expectation of first confirmation within 3-4 blocks and as of right now $10 is on the low end.

estimatefee.com for example:

If you're still hung up on the 1.5 mbtc, just exchange them with Dinabot for TRX for a 2-3% fee (~$1.50) and then withdraw the TRX (3 cent fee).

To busy plugging 'Jews' into practically every cabinet position available I guess.
Biden nominated 8 or 9 Catholics, 5 Jews, 2 Southern Baptists and if the Surgeon General is considered part of the Cabinet 2 Hindus.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/religion/religion-biden-cabinet/2021/01/22/

5 whole jews you say? My god, they're taking over.

The particularly nasty ones often pass themselves off as something else.  Often 'Catholic', and when so usually of the 'Jesuit' variety.  Some say that that sect was created by and for 'conversios'.  I wouldn't pretend to know.

Anyway, let's say it is true and my source (the Jerusalem Post IIRC) is all washed up.  Even 5/18 is a pretty high ratio when one considers that Jews are supposedly 2% of the population.  That's 1/50 for the mathematically challenged.  Must the the superior intelligence that they go on about perhaps?  I'm sure it has nothing to do with influence from the financial sector and Jewish lobbying groups or anything like that.

I can assure you that Biden is not going to be as friendly to Israel as Trump was if you're worried about pro Jewish lobbying groups. Biden was clear about reopening negotiations with Palestinians and within his own party are antisemites like Rashida Talib and Ilhan Omar. I wouldn't be too concerned.

I'm guessing he won't be too pleased with Biden being friendly with Muslims either.

Thats 10$ withdrawal fee, are you crazy?

Hey did you contact the support about this and what did they have to say, also it’s quiet possible that at the time of withdrawal the network was charging a higher fee and hence they charged you that fee. Furthermore did you check at regular levels, was the fee same and if you didn’t check why did you withdraw when the fees were high?.

I did not withdraw yet, because this fee is a fking joke. And like I said, the fee right now would be way less than 10$. When I deposited I took a "fast fee" and paid 0.00014 for the network.

The fee they're charging is in line with a reasonable network fee if you hope to have it confirmed next block.

For the past 2 months the fee was ~$2 we charged users while we were often paying $10+ out of pocket. Between BTC and ETH we would have spent hundreds of thousands this month alone in fee subsidies for users which gets unsustainable when users are using stake as a wallet to avoid paying normal fees. We will keep our fee under the current transaction fee so users will still benefit. As the network normalizes and fees come back down our fee passed to users will be reduced further. We are working on making it so users can set a custom fee
More inputs to a casino, of course, increase the size of the transaction. Consolidating many small deposits to withdraw a winning amount (expected to be much higher than the average deposit) means a potentially expensive transaction. What's the average deposit size? It might be worth investigating a sliding withdrawal fee determined by the value of your transactions - incentivizes reduced size usage.

Doing a few batches of btc cashouts a day and then giving the user the option to pay the fee for instant or pay a reduced fee and wait for the next batch could work also.
