Didn't the dev post to say people needed to stop asking to get coins listed? I found it a bit odd, as how else would he know what to list?

Block Rewarder Update:

Bonus PMC; for every time the network only moves one block every 3 seconds, a bonus of 0.00000001 PMC will be added to the generated Tx fee, until more than one block is found during that 3 second interval, whereupon the bonus will reset. This means a potential PMC reward of 0.02000000. Rewards may end up in multiple blocks, so there's a chance of receiving higher bonuses in some blocks. I found this happened when the network was generating blocks a lot faster. There's code to counteract this which slows the script down if the network moves too fast to prevent farming.

Script is designed to be farm resistant and adaptive based on difficulty. It should be able to sustain itself for some time on just a few hundred PMC, but if the reward needs to be increased, it can be at any time based on donations it receives. Someone was kind enough to send me 500 PMC today. It will be used to keep the account running, so donations won't be needed to keep it running for awhile.

First major testing of the script starts tomorrow or Tuesday, depending on how much time I have, as it has to be set up on a server machine and whether or not I have time depends on how busy I am during the week. I hope it will work without the need of any bug fixing, as the code is pretty straight forward, and the bulk of it has been tested already.

Does everyone feel 0.01, with a maximum of 0.02 a reasonable block reward? Take into account that this is a bonus on top of any fees already in each block.

It has an investment program, which I find quite interesting. If we get listed I may invest a couple of hundred PMC.

It's always the same. It was the same with KittehCoin. I got a few mill at launch, and look at the price now. Miners are fickle. They'll only jump on when they see everyone else jumping on, so it's a bit like everyone's waiting for everyone else to make the first move.

Well I've already made my move. I have my few million. Soon it will be too late for most to get that many easily, and by then they'll all be wondering why they didn't mine this sooner. It's Doge and KittehCoin all over again.

Most of the people who seriously believe a coin has long term value will probably keep quiet, because they're still busy investing in it and don't want anyone else to push up the price. Always good to read between the lines of what people aren't saying, as well as what they are.

Still hilariously undervalued, but it won't be long before you won't be able to get it any cheaper than 0.0001, and soon due to the price it will naturally become traded more due to daytraders, so I expect an increase in volume before too long as well.

Interesting to watch, but again this is a market in its very infancy, so all prices right now are utterly meaningless.

Not really. That's an annual rate, and when it comes into place the coin becomes pure PoS, so you'll only buy able to buy it. There's a ceiling on how many maximum coins there can be, and also;

Yes. It happened to KittehCoin. Was selling for just a couple of satoshis, and then it got pumped and it exploded, and the price has maintained pretty high. It's come down a bit, but when you consider it's higher now then when Doge was considered to be doing well a couple of weeks ago..

It's not really rewarding anyone with low hashpower, as others have said. You've obfuscated the way block rewards work, but on average the more hashpower = the more coins. You're just varying the payout rate, essentially.

It's an interesting coin, and difficult to come by, but it's also very difficult to evaluate. Nice thought experiment, though.  

What he means is it's a pump and dump strategy. It causes price crashing. It happens with most coins, so I wouldn't be too concerned about it.

Example;

Tx Fee @ 0.1% per 1 PMC (rate is based per 1 PMC for ease of understanding)

Person A:
Moves 10 PMC 10x times.
0.1% fee = 0.1 PMC Tx fee x 10
RESULT: 1 PMC

Person B:
Moves 100 PMC 1x time.
0.1% fee = 1 PMC Tx fee.
RESULT: 1 PMC

It does not matter if you move 1 PMC or 1000 PMC, the amount of tx you pay is exactly the same. It's just relative to how many PMC you send, as the TX fee is charged per 1 PMC. 0.1% is just an example. 0.01% would be perfectly fine.

You can't cheat it, and you can't be punished by it. The more you move, the more you pay. The less you move, the less you pay, But most importantly, everyone pays the same.

It's simple and it works. Easy to understand, potentially easy to implement, and easy to work out what it will cost you to send your PMC. It needs to be simple, but relative.

It's an interesting idea, but it would be difficult to work out the tx you pay and would dissuade movement of coin investors. A percentage based on what you hold will be fair for everyone.

At least it's now in the hands of the new development, rather than still in the hands of the old dev. I've been promoting Fck from the early days. I'll still continue to show my support.

I mused over the idea over a proportional tx fee, but it is wrought with problems.

If the tx fee was variable by difficulty, and the difficulty became low, it would increase the tx fee and less people would move their coins, decreasing the total amount available to miners for mining. You would potentially end up in a spiral where continued low difficulty and high tx fees would feed off one another, causing less movement, less tx fee generation, until the coin stagnated. Very bad idea.

You could make the tx fee variable based on the amount of coins you hold, but it would have to be a much smaller percentage. The beauty of that would be, you wouldn't benefit from sending coins to yourself, because you'll always be paying the same tx fee based on what you have in your wallet, regardless of how few or many you have - it will just be relative to your total balance. You couldn't cheat your way out of that. Infact trying to do so would cost you more in tx fees as you moved your coins around. This also means higher stake holders would have to pay their fair share if they wanted to move a lot of coins.

If you can make the tx fee based on the coins you hold in a particular account, then that would make it manageable for coin movers who like to keep accounting records and so on.

So those are the sort of block sizes we should expect to see from now on? How much hashpower is there on the network?
