I absolutly can not imagine how this will work, what mechanism will be implemented to stabilize the price? It seems to me impossible.
Nothing in this thread has convinced me this is anything more than a half-baked idea. I can explain exactly how it could be worth one Euro, but then it's not my job to do that. it's the Dev's. I'm just not convinced one iota.

http://www.comkort.com/New exhange coming up. Do we want to message them to add PMC? Looks like it may be half-decent, but what do you guys think?

Once I mint Mint I plan to sell a mint of Mint for Mint.

If they are still available I'll take them.

sent. looks like there was an 1 NXT fee - so you got 11. good luck & enjoy. Ugh. Just got my NXT account number too. ¬_¬ Guess I'll have to wait another time to play with NXT.
|
|
|
Pity I never bothered to get an account. I wouldn't mind some to play with, but only because I've not used NXT before. I'll do you a straight swap. 12 NXT for 12 PMC. Just so I can play around with it.

Proof of Stake explained:- 100.00 EBT mature over a 90-day period.
- From Day 1 through Day 30, there is no change, but the coins "age" in the background
- On Day 30, Your coins become eligible for PoS minting
- From Day 31 through Day 90, Your chances of hitting a PoS block increase. After day 90 your chances dont get any better.
- When a Stake block is hit the input that was used gets locked for 25 blocks as the POS block matures. It is moved to the stake column and a transaction will appear in your wallet for 10 EBT
- After 25 blocks your 100EBT is returned and your 10 EBT is confirmed leaving you with 110 EBT
Was just checking to make sure that was launch day. Next Friday, then.

Etherium is in the same park as NXT and Ripple. Average Joe will just not understand it. The only people who are really getting excited about these are the techies and investors. I can just about explain BTC to Joe Bloggs, but they wouldn't get these types of currencies at all. They fail because not because they aren't clever or unique or innovative, but because you have to be in the industry to understand them. Your average person on the street has no clue how fiat currency works. How can you expect them to understand Ether?
Dogecoin on the other hand, as ridiculous as it may be, has brought cryptocurrency to the masses. People get it. It doesn't matter how clever your platform is if you can't appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Assuming we mined at launch, at what day do the coins start minting?

Don't stop mining FCK!!! Love it.

Going back up.

Dumping will always cause swings with low volume. Going to be a lot harder to do when we reach our third exchange.
|
|
|
WTB 1 BTC worth.
PM offers.
As a newbie, no offence, but I'd strongly advise against this without an escrower. Good chance one of you will scam or be scammed. We need to get on coinswap. Volume too low still on exchanges.

Fckbankscoin is an underdog, and it will have its day.

As far as the logo, I think PMC should be displayed prominently with Premine underneath it. I think PMC is a better title for the coin than Premine. Saying "PMC Accepted Here" sounds better than "Premine Accepted Here" to me. But hey, that's just what I think.
The negative stigma over the word "Premine" will be a thing of the past soon. A lot of people in the crypto world hear the word "Premine" and run for the hills, but it is important to note that it is actually what is done WITH the premine that matters. If we had mined up all of the coins and sat on them to dump on an exchange, that is obviously not good for investing. In our case that isn't what happened. Since we freely gave every coin away, it negates the undesired result of a premine. So while "Premine" may right now sound like a bad thing, it will not be long before the subject is seen from a different point of view. I embrace the word premine, because it is open, honest, and in this case very positive. Our biggest focuses should be advertisement, and education. The only people who seem to come here with criticism of the coin are the ones who A) have not read a single post in the thread, and B) seem to have a limited understanding of cryptocurrency. Thats because they get to the word "Premine" then stop reading. It's their loss. They can learn the lesson that "reading is good" the easy way, or the hard way... Just my 0.02 PMC on the subject. I agree. This is what makes PMC different. When I think of all the coins that have shot up in price *because* people didn't read about the coin and just paid attention to the hype, and then see Premine with its zero hype but increasing prices, I can see a coin that is gaining value based on its merits, rather than hyperbole. The people that don't read and just pay attention to the numbers will all be here when we're at 10x the price all wishing they invested sooner. A few coins have gone that way, and they're still high up on coinmarketcap. The hyped coins sink as quickly as they rise.

some guys dump PMC on poloniex,0.0008 down to 0.0004. They are getting a good home, and will be used for the benefit of PMC - Not to fear... I like to think of it as a discount for buyers. In order for the price to reach the sky, we need dumpers to dump. The less dumpers there are, the higher the price can go. This is kind of how it works. Can't expect every early shareholder to be a strong hand. Good riddance to them. Everyone can see how huge PMC could be now. Anyone with sense will buy during these dips and the price will come straight back up. The market overall is behind PMC. A few dumpers aren't going to change that. Wish I got a few hundred for 0.0004!

I can not encourage donating to that faucet. The dev for that faucet was given thousands on PMC, but they were removed from the faucet, and the faucet does not work. if you wish to donate to a faucet, donate to the official faucet at faucet.premineco.in Ever track those transactions? Yes, it is just sitting in an address, hasn't moved in awhile last time i looked. http://blockchain.premineco.in/a/16PsWmgn2EI've dropped Musent a PM to find out what's going on. He was online today, so there's no reason he can't pop in and explain the situation. Did you send the coins in good faith that they'd be used solely for the faucet, or were they a bounty reward? That's just the thing - It's technically a bounty, so he isn't under obligation to give it away. ...However it was agreed that the bounty would be used for the faucet, and that was voluntarily offered by the faucet dev. If he wants to keep the coins, it's his choice. I don't agree but I don't have to. If he wants to keep the coins and keep the faucet working, I'll gladly donate to it. But I'm going to need some sort of response before moving forward. Well I'll reserve judgement until he responds, for now. No point conjecturing until he lets us know what's going on. @kadz your answer No response from him yet. Growing a bit concerned he's decided to just keep them for himself. I'll give it a few more days.

I have 2x Redeemable Origin voucher codes for Battlefield 4 for sale. Both came with my R9 280x cards.
I'm willing to accept most altcoins, provided I think they have any value. I do check exchange rates, so no lowball offers please.
PM or drop me an offer here for one or both vouchers.

Hah.
How much of this serious investment money will be going into licensing? Because without a licence no serious investor would put money in this surely?
Nintendo aren't the cheapest of companies to purchase licensing off. That much I do know. You'll need to provide some legitimate sources for this.

We're in a great place right now, another exchange listing could really push us over the edge.
I can see a time in the near future when 0.001 will look cheap for PMC.
It's all about marketing here. Look at XCP, today value on poloniex is 0.013 and don't offer nothing more than PMC. If PMC gets some good marketing I'm sure 0.01+ isn't very difficult to reach with a market cap of only 500k coins. In my opionion it's also possible that this coin will reach 0.1 like Mastercoin if it gets good long-term support. I agree. Can we get an image of the new logo with a white background? Or rendered against a much larger background so it can be used to make posters with, etc? A logo with transparent background would be perfect, if that's possible, but may not be considering it's a 3D render.
