That last scam (stackedcoin), getvisacoin scam, etc. All had super shitty logo (hell, that getvisacoin even did a logocontest, 3 ppl participated, and he chose 1 logo that was ugly as hell). Agreed I don't mind donating but want to wait for the dev as well.
Been chatting to another exchange to see if they will consider listing us. I think we're all in agreement that PMC has long outgrown the two small exchanges were are on, and in order for the coin to grow further and faster we need that additional trading volume. Then we'll see the big money invested in PMC. I'm just wondering which big exchange will blink first and list us. |

Close it down asap. You need to back up your wallet (IMPORTANT) then re-download the blockchain from the start. Back up your wallet and delete everything in the kittehcoin roaming data folder except for wallet.dat and peers.dat. Then restart wallet. If you downloaded too much of the old blockchain you may be on the fork right now and if the coins go to that they'll be lost. |

i just downloaded the newest wallet and it is syncing now, but since the balance was in my confirmed i sent it. its the wallet with smoking kitteh with purple smoke. silver or grey looking coin around it.
Edit: close down the wallet if it isn't synced and delete the entire blockchain (back up your wallet.dat). Then re-download it. You may end up on the wrong fork. Yeah, that's the earliest wallet. I think it should be ok but honestly I'm not sure how it works. The blockchain was forked since that client you see. All coins pre-fork are safe, and hopefully if you're now on the correct blockchain it will send your coins to the correct blockchain. I'm not entirely sure how sending coins quite works. I mean if it sends them after syncing I think you'll be fine. |

We only need est. 1 BTC to be top 1 in mintpal. If all holders of PMC would donate 0.3% of their holding, we can raise a funds of 1923 (0.3% of 500,000) at market price it is 1 BTC. At a simple gesture, 0.3% is just like a trade fee. It is not a lot but the result will be be worth it. I am estimating that the value of your coin will increase by more than 10% in btc value when we are added into mintpal just by donating 0.3% of your holding. I think it would be a very good idea to close that wallet right now if it's not the latest wallet. If it's synced it may be too late.

I fear this coin won't go far if this continues. Same happened to Moon, now it's a relatively murdered coin. If the price goes up then they won't be able to afford to do this. Unfortunately this is just what happens when a lot of coins end up in circulation. If Fckbankscoin's profile is raised and gains a lot of interest, then people will put up higher sell walls and you'll see those low sell walls begin to move. I really wouldn't worry too much about it. There are several ways those walls can be taken down. If we focus on promoting the coin and getting it noticed then the market will do the rest. |

Well, I can't afford any significant amount of BTC right now, but maybe when some other coins take off I'll have some BTC to spare.
I've got a USB Antminer running at about 1.7 ghash/sec on Premine now. It's not a lot, but when I get 4 more it will help the network. I need to get some cooling on it next week though, I imagine it gets hot with the overclock.
I think that you need some different multiplier but I don't have ever done something like that on a usb miner Yeah, I know how to adjust the overclock, although only by googling it. It's not running too hot. As hot as my 333mhasher. You don't have to do it alone. How much btc do we need to be on the top list? How much will it cost in PMC value? Does it worth it? I would say it may have been worth at over 0.001 BTC value per PMC, but right now you're better off holding onto your PMC and spending BTC directly. 0.2 BTC would currently buy us 4000 votes, which would put us in comfortable 4th place. Whether or not we could maintain 4th place is another matter. The cost get to get to 3rd is quite a bit more, and I haven't seen Mintpal add a new coin for awhile, so maybe they're just waiting for more people to spend BTC on votes, I don't know.
