They really took everyone buy suprise this season, I expect Stuggart to be at their position current, based on their consistency earlier this season, but they dropped points. However Leverkusen were more serious and maintained their consistency to remain unbeaten till this point, I'm really impressed with their performance and I think xabi deserves to be nominated as on of the best coaches this season based on his the pattern he's impacted on his players.

 Leverkusen would really give Bayern a tough challenge this season, they're one club Thomas Tuchel should really be worried about cause they could end the dominance of Bayern Munich and in return it might even cost him his managerial role, therefore he needs to sit up and avoid dropping points so as not to widen the gap, cause Leverkusen are already 4poimts ahead.

The UCL group stage is off, Roma and Slavia Praha has advanced unto the next stage of the contest. Even though Roma are a side that were more or less struggling in the group stage games. They didn't have so many goal differences and then Praha made every game they played very much difficult for them, putting them to extreme positions too. Well the good thing is that they advanced to the next stage which is what matters most.

 They were able to bounce back in their last group encounter and it saw them through to the round of 16 stage of the tournament. At this time, they'd put more efforts to focusing on both races, knowing also that the league's journey isn't as easy as it was some seasons ago. The domestic league is now tough and competitive and they've also gotten to a tougher stage in the UCL, every chance and error counts.

Genoa have succeeded in scoring an equalizer after conceding a penalty which was scored by one of Juventus star player Chiesa, in the 28th minutes of the game, but I won't conclude yet whether both teams would end up sharing points after the final whistle cause there's still enough time to turn the game around, they're currently at the 60th minute and I believe Juventus would try to find the back of the net again before the final whistle.
 
 Well with Juventus facing this kind of situation against a team that's in the 14th position, even while they got top players that could help make things easier for them, it means they still got lots of work to be done in the recruitment area and since the January window is around the corner, it's a very big advantage to them cause it gives them an opportunity to bluster their team and help them on their journey for the title race.

In the French league, there's been a bit of competitiveness but all time, Monaco have been able to keep up with the tempo in previous seasons up till now. They're still at a level of dominance and it's encouraging that week after week they've got higher probability of making positive difference in every game they're in.
The result of every game matters as it's a determinant of their progress in the domestic league.

 I feel when they'll face Lyon, a win is expected because the latter doesn't really have much grounds yet and are just flunctuating in performances. The goal margin too should be tangible enough. Though it'll be a rough league ride for Lyon as they've been experiencing ups and downs too, they were a good team and maybe are currently around average performance level but still they can make differences. They've still got weeks before the season elapses.

Nottingham have not really been delivering rightly in their league games. Tonight they'll face Spurs who are currently stronger and better than them. Even though they're the host, they still gave Spurs the odds to win the game. The chance probability is evident, well I won't be suprise if Nottingham Forest pull a stunt and probably steal a point or even the whole 3 points against Tottenham, cause these Mediocre teams in the EPL can be very suprising atimes.
 
 I personally do not think Spurs would let this win slip off their hands, this can bee the push the need to stay more on top and they'll gracefully use it to their advantage, the visitors are better and are definitely threatening to the host. The highest thing the host would do is to play a tight defense and wait on counter attacks but I really can't say of it's certainty of occuring in tonight's game. Spurs are expected to win though but inconclusively, we await the result.

Despite the fact that Casemiro is getting older and not very consistent with his good work rate like he used to be I think he's still got it in him, he proved it last season when he was bought from Realmadrid into united, the problem with Casemiro is fatigue, he was over used last season and it's really  affecting his performance this season, in both club and country side. Well I won't blame Manchester United if they want to sell him in the January window cause they'll need reinforcement and can't wait for Casemiro's recovery.

 Well if they choose to retain him based on the role he plays in the team, then it would be very understanding cause an inform Casemiro has a lot of experience and he's highly effective, which is something united could really rely on, in the long run. Well only time would tell if united would either choose to  sell or retain Casemiro based on his experience and work ethics.
 

    Ajax have not been at their best performances but they've definitely been winning games and have been consistent to it. Definitely a coach has his own impact in a team, once the head is faulty, there'll always be loopholes. It means a lot for a team to get victorious consecutively in a row and for Ajax, that's caused a gradual improvement regardless not doubting that they still have to put in more work. They've got players no doubt but the squad needs to be better, Ajax is a team better than a narrow win, at the moment though, finding the right player who's top and ready in all areas to give that competitive capacity in both the domestic league and the European leagues will be hard.

 Every team won't want to loose their kept men and every player that's be free are the ones that weren't so solid for the team. It's quite expensive to get for a team a high valued player no doubt and Ajax management may not likely be up to the task and it's going to be unsafe to settle for a less standard player, their winning consistency is good but they just have to find a way to stop the wins from occuring through a narrow means. The coach is good at what he does but he has to improve himself and the team too, once all the necessary characteristics needed are in place, then it'll be an easy ride for Ajax

Doing so impressively currently with the limited budget he was given, means that if he was fully backed financially by the board, they could do better than they're doing currently and even be one of the top contenders for the league, I believe the boards would be really impressed with how far Unai Emery have got the club and therefore they should try as much as possible to invest for funds for the Jan transfer window so Emery would strengthen the club to continue doing better.

 Well I won't conclude yet that Manchester United or Chelsea are out of the top 4 race yet, cause there's still lots of games left to be played before the League comes to an end by May/June period therefore I expect both clubs to try every possible and take advantage of the upcoming January window and do the necessary signings to get the clubs into doing better again.

I must commend the Turkish Football Federation for serving justice to the defaulters, cause they brought same and embarrassment to the country and deserves to be punished, alot of fans has complained about the situation, saying the Federation is full of corruption and nothing would be done to the defaulters cause of the positions they hold in their team, however the TFF have cleared alot of doubts and proved that theirs still fairness in the game.

 This would serve as a warning to others that has plans to commit such act and fell they'll go Scott free, atleast they'll learn to be calm and control their temper, so as not to put their team in a situation, to be honest the TFF did the right thing by serving the defaulters the right punishment,finally Justice have been served to them.

Girona unlike Rayo Vallecano are currently one of the best team in the Laliga currently, they're one of the mediocre teams in  Europe that's taken everyone by suprise this season, who would belive that Girona would beat Barcelona with a very good scoreline and are currently dominating the league with about 41points, Girona in their last 5 matches have been unbeaten and I feel they'll definitely win their next fixture against Alaves.

 Rayo Vallecano are not a very tough team this season, they're currently in the 10th place and they're no match for Girona if both teams face each currently, in their previous match they had  draw and therefore need to secure 3 points in their next fixtures but they're going to face a tough challenge against Osasuna who ate the hosting team in the match, and despite the fact that Osasuna are below Vallecano in the table, they'll still pull a threat in that match.

PSG are so lucky to have been able to continue in the UCL tournament,  they might have moved into the next round bit I'm not really impressed with their style of play, despite the fact that they're a team capable of being a threat to other top European clubs, but they still have some lapses that's to be tackled, if you noticed in the group stage,  they got embarrassed by Newcastle at England and I'm pretty sure that they might not even reach the semifinals.

 However Realmadrid on the other hand are a team, that has got alot of experience in the tournament, they have even got more UCL trophies than any other European country, and there's a possibility of them reaching the semi's or becoming finalist, compared to PSG that are giants only in the French league but are yet to have one major trophy.

Xabi Alonso has proved that he's a very good coach and he's currently a potential coach for a top European coach in future,he's able to change Leverkusen from a mediocre club to one of the top contending clubs Europe, Leverkusen are still yet to be beaten and are currently doing very fine in all competitions they're currently in, they've given Bayern Munich a reason to work hard and do better as they enter into the 2nd segment of the season, else they might end up losing this year's Bundesliga trophy.

 Leverkusen are currently in the 1st place in the Bundesliga with about 3points  and they won Molde with a 5-1 victory in the Europa League, ending their group stage without any defeat, what a good record, let's not still forget that they're still in the DFB-Pokal tournament and I believe that they'll Stuttgart in the next fixtures and move to the next round, and probably win the trophy.

Union Berlin haven't been so good this season, they've been able to keep up with at least scoring goals in their recent games. Even if their victories aren't always coming forth. They've also been able to showcase their best at the UCL which still ended in a disqualification and has now given them ample time and strength to focus more on Bundesliga.

 Now they'd be onto the domestic league race and on the standings, they're just a point out of the relegation zone and they've got work to do in ensuring that they don't decline in performance or points too. For the top teams in the same league that's advanced to the next stage of the European contest, they've got what it takes to keep up with the contest no doubt and hopefully they'll get to the final stage, it won't although be an easy ride.

The game against Liverpool is more like one that would be full of lots of fun and one the fans already don’t have much a expectation from, If you check the United current form, and squad you’ll see they stand no chance against league leaders, Liverpool and from their run of form you’ll see they stand no chance against this Liverpool side,cause they'll even be playing without alot of their senior players.

 Now United in their poor form, will be playing in a fortress, Anfield and this is one ground that’s not an in form football club will want to play at. Liverpool are chasing a title this season, and Manchester United are not up to a match to stand their way, I feel they'll still get embarrassed at Anfield like the previous season when they were beaten 7-0, that was disastrous.

Yes, speculations are allowed but the speculations should come after overall analysis of the way the team plays and you can tell that form base, Liverpool and Leverkusen are real good and are title contenders for the Europa League. Yes, Liverpool could have better chance because they’ve got wide range of experience in European competitions and if you check out the 3rd spots of the UCL, you’ve got just AC Milan who could be a big threat to them.

 Liverpool will want to win this competition to secure a top 4 spot especially with how competitive the English League is, however they're going to face a lot of competition, cause now many clubs that finished 3rd position in the UCL have been disqualified into the Europa League, I don't think Liverpool are going to find it easy winning the tournament.

Messi’s addition to the Saudi League is one crazy addition that’ll not just blow the fans and media but also the banks of Saudi Pro League and it’ll also be a boost to the fan base of the league and that of any club he joins, well if a deal would be possible i bet Messi's destination might be Al-Hilal, and it would even make it more interesting cause that's Ronaldo's Al-Nassr toughest rivals currently.

 Messi’s addition will also be a healthy rivalry between him and his counterpart, Ronaldo and that’ll be one their fan base will love to have one more time But how long will they be able to keep up, due to their ages but I feel a year or two is one thing most fans wants to see and feel again, atleast they’ll keep the footballing world more entertaining and very interesting once again based on their past rivalry.

PSG are one team that has a big market value yet no Major European success and that’s one crazy result that any team could have, they’ve got quite some star players but they might not be the best quality for that position and that’s one factor that a winning team needs to have and also the winning mentality, they have managed to qualify for the next round but haven't given me a benefit of doubt if they'll reach the semi's

 The teams needs to have some spectacular additions that’ll be befitting of champions and make sure all positions have that creative player that makes the difference other than this, there’ll sure be returning home early from the UCL as expected , no much hopes on PSG because as usual, they won’t go through the Quater Finals, cause they narrowly escaped the group stage.

I don't know what to say about Barcelona's performance currently because it's very much obvious that it's not welcoming. Not judging based on the defeat from Royal Antwerp last night, because now they'd tag it as a giveaway to the opposing side since they've successfully scaled through to the next round and maybe it actually was a giveaway because I wouldn't want to believe that they put their mind in that game and we're comfortably defeated by such a low team as that. Where's Barcelona's crown?

 They were a better team, they lost to Girona, which was shocking especially that defeat happening at their home ground, what explanation would they give for that? Girona is a team struggling for the top spot, but a defeat for Barcelona from them isn't just the best way to go about it. They ought to be better than this, they've got no excuse whatsoever to be performing the way they're doing now. Hopefully they'll be better after their game against Valencia but it'll be diminishing if they still loose that encounter.
