Bitcoin already IS bigger than Facebook, because 1BTC is worth more than 1 Facebookaccount
It's not like I can have 0.2187 FB account, or can I? One day facebook will end up just like myspace, but BTC is here to stay, folks. agreed Yes, social networks are trends that are easily replaced, the blockchain tech will always be relevant, pretty much forever as in as long as our lifetimes. Even if other projects arise, they will Co-exist with Bitcoin.

how about the current doomsday?
There are a lot of big problems concerning Bitcoin now, mainly the fork problem which needs to be addressed due future blockchain bloat, the exchanges being hacked, and the mainstream public still not being able to understand Bitcoin let alone use it, which translates on a shitty price. Time will prove us right tho.

Leverages are too risky, you can be on debt as far as I know because you owe money to the broker, at least thats how it works with forex CFDs and whatnot. If you are inexperienced just hold.

Just watched minority-report (2002) again, the fake identity of Anderton is Yakamoto, might be the inspiration for Nakamoto
In this post-privacy enviornment we are heading towards a minority report future, he would gain literally nothing by being famous, specially as the creator of Bitcoin. Literally the only reason to be famous is if you would benefit from it profesionally like being an actor or whatnot. Other than that, its better to be rich and anonymous and Satoshi knows this.

this BTC price will be remembered as the time only the fools didn't buy in
mark my words
but what if it goes down to 100, or below that even? Well its called risk/reward range, the more you wait past a certain price the more you are risking missing what can be a lifetime train, so you choose. You want to wait to hope to time a perfect floor or you want to secure a decent position now?

It is not good for miners, at least at current difficulty.
If prices fall more, then some of them will have to stop operating and it will result the network unstable for some time
But some may see it as an opportunity. The less miners the more you get since there is less to spread among miners, so it gets somewhat balanced. Everything has its risks.

I may be missing something, but why Sweden in particular, would be interested in doing that? I don't get it. In any case Andreas should recieve the price, unless Satoshi himself wants to break his anonymity, which is highly unlikely.

The price is right, so today I transfered money to Bitstamp and tomorrow I will buy Bitcoin again! As Zhou Tonged said before their video was taken down, Price Down, Pick up! With everything happening in the bitcoin space plus price being ridiculously low, I ones again for the first time in over a year is buying. Just wanted to let you know about my optimism ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Do you still trust Bitstamp at this point? I would withdrawn all BTC as soon as possible after operating. Unless you are a daytrader imo don't leave a single satoshi in any exchange. Even Andreas has been saying this for ages.

the way it can fight off downward price pressure its simply astounding,
fiat is very weak and must be invested in housing, an asset class to
even exist in the first place
Crashes are good once in a while, if the asset survives. If Bitcoin survives this big crash and im sure it will, it will only mean bigger trust. It's like the "tyson effect" in boxing, the blood on the face is intimidating after being beaten up, and when no one bets on the losing fighter he comes back. In stocks is the same. If the asset survives a big crash and stands up again it means the asset is solid against hard times. Contrary to popular, an asset isn't solid if it has a stable price, that is boring. An asset is solid if overtime it keeps going up after surviving crashes. Look at the big picture in Bitcoin and that is exactly how it looks. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fpricedingold.com%2Fcharts%2FBTC-2010.png&t=663&c=2LiMatkqAKHRRQ)

So for some reason, my signature appears somewhat crooked.
Edit: Oh actually it look good in the forum, but it looks crooked in my profile. Whatever, joining this signature campaing because it seems efficient in the way you join and deal with it, the rest seem to be a pain in the ass about it. Hope it goes ok cheers.
Yup, in the profile looks big, probab;y less space. But the main purpose is to advertise on the forum, unless it was on satoshis profile Yes I realized the profile signature is bugged for some reason. Anyway my question now is: How is the week counted as in, is it exactly 7 days after enrolling counted automatically by the system? If so, how do I know im "in", if it says "Active" does it mean that the counter has started counting for the next 7 days? Im pretty impressed at whoever coded this, no other has automated this yet AFAIK. I reckon Stunna was trying to do it with Primedice but ultimately wasn't able to come up with an efficient system so they had people manually managing everything and it was insane.

I dont know.. ive been thinking about it lately. It's pretty mind blowing. Like, how would you experience being "reanimated"? And if you had a sickness, like a degenerative sickness... then what would happen? I dont know, we can't even cure baldness yet, so how are we supossed to aim for this? If they can reanimate the bodies, it would only mean that humanity has advanced enough to achieve immortality.
I find it's useless to preserve only the head. What for? thats creepy as hell. Might as well preserve the whole thing, but preserving the whole thing is too expensive.. whats the exacty price for that?
How much do you pay monthly?
What the hell would happen if the company goes bankrupt? what would they do with all the heads/bodies?

Do you guys have any idea how much an escrow agent makes? Peace!
Why? If you're getting into escrow here to make money you're doing it for all the wrong reasons. Most escrows do it for free but get small tips every now and again. It's more about helping the community than making a living off of it. I agree, escrows are the backbone of the BTC community, without them I think people would be getting ripped off all over the place (more than usual with all the current scams). Find one you can trust with a lot of good feedback spanning a length of time and you will feel happy you did it that way instead of trying to save a few Satoshi and losing a few BTC ![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) If they do it for free even better but I feel a tip is always greeted with kindness. But how do new aspiring escorwers start? If people only hire people with lots of good feedback.. how do people start from scratch?

You're late, it does already exist :þ ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.imgur.com%2FCnwckFp.png&t=663&c=D1js8i0OlDJ99w) LOL, I knew I heard it before. Basically everything has been turned a cryptocoin at this point.

Well I really do think when people start to explore bitcoin, they will realize that the price is now at the lower range which is a good time to buy. Forget about bad publicity. When people steal bitcoin, it means it has value worth all the trouble.
There is short term negativity associated with the theft. People who say "Bitcoin is not safe and can be easily stolen" have their few minutes of fame. But in the end, interest in Bitcoin increases. Bitcoin gets of bad press but any press is better than no press. I learned about BTC because it was used by bad guys in the darknet, then I realized this shit is truly the future and one would be insane to miss on it.
