I never understood how would anyone use an altcoin for collateral, i mean if you want 1 btc loan but you have like 100 ltc, why not sell the ltc yourself instead of asking for the loan?
I've never really understood that either. Using money to get a loan of other money seems pointless. I think most people who take out loans here do so just for the feedback though so that's one reason. Using your account as collateral seems like a better option though sometimes people need the accounts to actually earn the money back. Well i think 80% of people here that ask for loans are either scammers or not serious people. Ive seen a lot asking for loans to gamble, like wtf is that. When you ask for a loan in real life is to do something of value with it not gamble... |

cuanto mas dinero tienes mas puedes conseguir pero el ha dicho que tiene 0.006 asi que.. Haha. Realmente si tienes como 3-4 cuentas hero member puedes ganar 1 btc al mes posteando ya sera 0.1 sino es error dinos como sacar 0.25 btc al mes con una sola cuenta porque yo saco 0.038 a la semana , 0,152 btc al mes. todas formas ya le habian contestao en otro post hace 2 semanas con lo de las firmas, que fue donde me entere yo  Hay algunas que te sacas un poco mas a la semana pero yo he dicho que te podrias sacar 1 btc con 4 cuentas |

No, what im saying is that if you already have the amount of money you need in altcoins what would be the point of asking for a loan If they sell the collateral they are offering then they will have to pay exchange fees, and would miss out on any additional price appreciation between the time they take out the loan and the time they get the money to repay the loan. A lot of loans secured by alt coins are likely done for altcoin trading so the loans essentially are allowing for additional leverage But when you pay the loan back you have to pay it with interests bigger than the fees you would pay for exchanging the altcoins |

I think gold is always going to remain more stable and will always have a real world use as a useable precious metal, but bitcoin is unstable and unpredictable, though I do think it is the best option to see a big profit and return on investment though it's very risky and not guaranteed. I'd prefer to put most of my money in Bitcoin for investment purposes. I just think we'll need a few years to see big gains hopefully.
But gold has been there for a long long time so its understandable to be more stable. Bitcoins are fairly new and can still grow, i think thats a really good quality. Meanwhile gold has a stable price with bitcoins you could buy 1 today and in some years maybe its worth 5.000$ or maybe 1$ thats the beauty of it Even if bitcoin exists for a long time, even then it will probab;y never become enough stable. Why not? They are stable now, this year pretty stable |

Its because people believe in the altcoins,and want to hold it, incase they think a price increase will happen. That can happen with bitcoins aswell plus people only want "stable" altcoins like dogecoin or litecoin |
