I feel that if you had to be a Jr. Member or higher to post on the loan section, it would cut down on spam in that section
because you can buy literally every account rank on this forum for few bucks, literally doesn't matter if somebody who is asking loan is newbie or legendary. most important part is to use escrow and ask for valid collateral, nothing else. No one is going to buy accounts just to ask for loans that they will probably not get, i mean jr.member accounts to skip the restriction, so it will definitely cut out the spam and i would like to see something like it |

It turns out that BadBear does not want me to have separate threads for the three separate issues. Therefore, I have posted below the content of the OPs of the three issues. I hope that people responding can make it clear which of these issues they want to talk about and we'll try to manage this thread as some sort of 3 in 1.

This is not a decentralized forum. Why does people think this forum is decentralized? This forum is absolutely controlled by a central authority. I did not say this is decentralized forum. I said it's a decentralization forum aka forum about decentralization. Seems like your only motivation on this forum is to participate on signature campaigns because you are making a big deal out of it and as i said he can join to some campaigns anyways, if he points out any reason of why he wouldnt be able to do X thing because he got that negative trust rating i would change my mind |

They control the default trust system, allow it to be abused left and right, protect their clique, and throw everyone else to the fire so they can maintain the image of legitimacy. When I was dealing with VODs abusive ratings I received several threats of a permaban from Badbear claiming I was off topic, some times in my own OPs even. Yet anyone arguing against me off topic was allowed to go on for page after page after page, regardless of it being reported. They protect freedom of speech here, that is until you question them or if it makes their pals look bad. In that case you'd better STFU and fall in line or else suddenly you will find yourself breaking rules you didn't even know existed, and all their lackeys vying for a position in the default trust list will line up to take pot shots at you to earn brown nose points, or to protect their existing privileged position in default trust. If you ask others to speak on your behalf, then suddenly you are accused of "shilling" or using sock puppets. It is an organically formed coordinated effort to protect their position of control based on self interest. They have a direct monetary incentive to do so, because people seek to trade with those on the default trust more because if they rate you it will raise the trust they have visible by default. If you are new making a complaint, you are just a sock puppet or a scammer and dismissed. If you have a reputation, then they have something to take from you. Either way they still control the situation to their own benefit via selective enforcement of all these unwritten, unofficial rules that change depending on who it is being enforced upon. There is little concern for the individual here unless it serves some higher use to them. If you are rocking the boat to get some right wronged, you are more likely to get the hammer than help unless it serves them. Your situation with Quickseller appears to me to be a very similar scenario, and no one of much note will speak in your defense for fear of retribution from Quickseller or the staff. Not sure if Moderators or admins can check IP of the post but it would really be nice to see if this and the OP of the post have the same IP. I am starting to think that this could have been a bigger scam attempt: Op over prices gear, uses new account with similar name for the chance to steal coins and keep his positive trust on his main account. This is just a possibility not an accusation.
I was thinking it would be nice if an Admin checked the IP range, just for pruning the main account and other scam accounts but heh. The scam was pretty clean, i would be surprised if there was any hit. I also wouldn't throw wild accusation at a trusted member just because of the nice tempo, even though i guess its not impossible(hacked account). Still i'd give the benefit of the doubt. Edit: Look like everyone's happy. Scammer uses this method with slightly changed names . Yesterday he tried to scam me by sending messages by name Sakairias-Corporation and after we aggreed about the price SebastainJu messaged me for the escrow . I guess that scammer is pretty active. He is putting a lot of effort in, i wonder if he's actually managing to scam anyone. But i don't see how we could get rid of him, or scammers in general. There's the sophisticated kind that probably use VPN and proper grammar. And then the mosquito kind, there's so many and they are easily spotted, you keep swatting them but there's always more and sometimes one manage to get a droop of blood. Enough people actually getting scammed must be fueling their efforts.. I doubt it, specially with the new warning on the pms when you are a newbie, no one is dumb enough to fall for that scam, i hope. |

The only thing I'd add is that while I understand that Shorena doesn't want to talk about other casinos here, I think it is relevant to ask him why he feels okay with promoting (and presumably playing) at the casino he's currently advertising if they haven't shown their cold-storage wallet, etc. I think that is because it is off topic, this is about dadice not the other, perhaps you can open up another thread I wonder how many months/years would have to go by before Shorena would be willing to say "hell, okay, maybe they never showed their cold storage address but they have now been offering services for XX years/months and it's clear that they're not in it to scam, they're merely offering a gambling service and profiting on the house edge".
Shorena is a very fair person because after months or years operating without issue , he will change his rating to neutral. Look at what he did , he change marcotheminer rating to neutral after months. I think shorena make a very fair claim here and I dont see that is issue warning people about this. Funny that people is talking only about quickseller and shorena when dadice has plenty of negative ratings from other trusted members as well so it wouldn't really matter what shorena does at this point, obviously a good amount of trusted people think they are a scam |
