It's possible but like you said time-consuming. I wouldn't be opposed to approving accounts or people's first post but I'm not entirely sure it's needed as bots get nuked pretty quick.

How would you be able to know if someone is making an account from the same computer if he can just change his IP, i mean manual approval wont help at all right? Maybe looking into the username to see if its example and example1 made in the last 5 minutes then of course you would know its the same person but other than that it would still be impossible
1682  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do people make a lot of money farming signature campaigns? on: May 12, 2015, 11:00:29 AM
I just realized how signature farming can help people in less developed countries...it might be more than what some people earn in one month if they put in their normal working hours into this..

For me, I was just curious if it would be worth it to put in the hours to earn income on the side.

Well i live in Romania and i can tell you that the average income is around 200 euros sometimes may be even lower so definitely you can earn more, way more with signature campaigns and make a decent or even a good living here so yea you are right about the less developed countries.

Yes i know a way, make the biggest amount of btc you can win to be 1 btc, make the chances of that happening impossible but lie to people and tell them its in 1 in 100.000, they will come like flies come to shit. Good luck
1684  Economy / Gambling / Re: 888hash.com ..::.. Guess last character of BTC block hash and win up to 300% on: May 12, 2015, 10:48:16 AM
What are the chances of guessing correctly the last character of a block hash, it can be a letter or a number right? so its 1 in 36 chance of winning to get a 300% back? wouldnt that mean that the house edge is incredibly high or am i missing something
1685  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do people make a lot of money farming signature campaigns? on: May 12, 2015, 10:35:47 AM
mh, I wonder if you could make a living with sig campaigns... I made around 0.08 last week. assuming you could at least sustain 10 accounts that would make BTC0.80/week, BTC3.2/month. around $700, not bad.

That was what I was wondering too...if it is possible to make a decent income through signature campaigns.

You can earn good amounts of money but definitely not enough for a living, sustaining 10 accounts is unreal and impossible, it would require 1000 posts per week around 142 posts per day, assuming that each post would take around 5 minutes to find what to say and post, you would need to spend around 12 hours each day to be able to reach your goal.

Your calculation and Tabata11's calculations are different. If you can make 80 posts with a paid sig at the rate 0.001BTC/post, you can earn 0.32BTC/month. If you can do the same with 9 more accounts, you can earn 3.2BTC/month. This is enough for "a living". But you can't continue this, your post quality cretainly decreases over time.

In addition with that amount of effort one stands to make more income in a real job. Better to earn the 0.1-0.2 BTC a month (my average) while doing something which do as time pass.

The only way to make a decent amount of money would be to do something with the btc you get from signatures, trade with it or invest it somewhere, as you said the income in a real job would be bigger but a real job is also harder, here you just have to type

1687  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How faucets make money? on: May 12, 2015, 07:32:00 AM
Ive talked to someone that was running a faucet and he said he was earning a good amount of money, take in count that most faucets give around 300 satoshis average per claim, with 1.000 people claiming they would only give 300.000 satoshis wich is 0.003 wich is around 0.70 cents of $ at todays price, for 1.000 people visiting the site they get a little bit more money than that so it is worth it
1688  Other / Meta / Re: [ moderators ]Will I be Banned again..?? [ moderators ] on: May 12, 2015, 07:27:07 AM
If you are currently banned then this is ban evasion. You're not allowed to post outside of meta either so you'll need to wait out your ban.

thanks for alerting me...

one of reputed member told that i am perma ban..

what it means..it has been over 25 days after i got banned my account..
will i be ever allowed again??

Well if you are permabanned then i guess you are allowed to create a new account and start posting right? Or maybe it means that you are perma banned forever, they should change the ban message to something more clear saying how long is the ban and if you can create or not another account
1689  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: do people make a lot of money farming signature campaigns? on: May 12, 2015, 07:02:22 AM
I heard of people creating multiple accounts just to farm BTC from these campaigns.
So would it be possible to earn 1BTC a month from participating in signature campaigns using multiple accounts?
And how much time (on average) is put into it in order to earn 1BTC a month?

Creating multiple accounts for enrolling in a signature campaign will mostly get you banned. Almost all reputed campaigns only allow one account per user.
So you won't get 1BTC per month, since there is generally an upper cap of how many maximum eligible posts you can make that are paid. (Unless you're having multiple accounts and you go unnoticed by the campaign owner)

How much time does it take? Well, that depends.
For example a campaign pays maximum 300 posts per month, so that's 10 posts a day. So you have to figure out how much time you need to invest to posty 10 'constructive' posts per day. (This is generally good amount of time because to make constructive posts, you need to read he original discussion carefully)

How is the owner going to notice tho? It doesnt have to be created accounts by you since you could just buy them and anyways you dont need to join the same campaign just use one for each account. The only problem is that you would have to post too much if you have too many accounts enrolled and you would end up posting non constructive posts

Is there any way to block the registration from 1 PC, like no matter what IP it has if its the same PC it gets blocked and you cant register more accounts? Or is that impsossible.

IP ban can happen but registrations shouldn't be blocked if there is an account from that IP. But there should a restriction for number of registrations per IP per day.

And what is the patrol thing?

See the link. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=recent;patrol

It is a page for patrollers(aka staffs) for moderating newbies' posts.

No what i mean is not IP ban or IP  restrictions because you can easily just change your IP and boom start registering again, what i was asking for is if there is any way to restrict a PC like no matter what IP that PC has. I dont know if its possible probably not but that would solve the problem

Yes, it's possible. Some people also buy accounts from other users with this purpose.

With 6 hero/legendary accounts posting around 50-100 post each per week you can earn 1 BTC. But generally the campaigns don't allow more than one account per user, at least in the same campaign. Probably you are safe if each account apply to different campaigns.

Also it's possible to sell the personal message and the avatar.

Uhhh that would be impossible posting 600 posts per week?? Its just too much, when i first joined a sig campaign i was like yeah im going to post 100 posts each week but then you realize that is not that easy and if you want to make constructive posts its just plain impossible to make 600 posts per week
1692  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling experience - max negative times in row on: May 12, 2015, 05:55:27 AM
I just testing martingale gambling method.

This is my experience:
After 2 days of gambling I collected 1500 Dogecoins
After 3 days of gambling I lost about 2000 Dogecoins

So I lost because, I have 20x negative times in row.
I expected about 18x or 19x.

Anyway, can anybody tell me what is max negative times in row?
Anybody have same expirience?

Martingale has proven to never work in the long term.

No shit, no strategy works in the long term thats why casinos win, in the short term anything can work as long as you have luck, you could very well start betting and make 30 loses in a row in your first 30 bets
1693  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling experience - max negative times in row on: May 12, 2015, 05:54:19 AM
30 loses in a row is 1 in a billion chance, there are reports of a little bit more but not much more since no one would have enough bankroll to sustain more than 40 loses in a row even if you start with 1 satoshi bet

So how safe would you be by using enough funds to ensure you can do 30 rolls or a little over? I hit a little over 20 losses in a row a few times back when I first got into bitcoin and was using the dice sites. I won quite a bit using martin gale but then kept going and lost so then I quit haha.

You need about 10 BTC to be able to survive the 30th consecutive loss if you started with 1 satoshi bet. The problem with starting with such a low bettig amount is that you need to bet a lot and i mean A LOT, for example in order to have a profit of 0.01 btc you would need 2 million bets wich is insane

Where have you seen these spambots? I havent seen any lately honestly.

I saw spams from spambot(s) even in Meta. You can see many if you closely watch Patrol page.

When you register you need to provide your email aswell right? Doesnt that slow the bots already?

It won't.

The only effective way of dealing with this would be some way of verification, like mobile phone verification but i know it wont happen.

A mobile or similar verifications shouldn't be implemented.

Just remember to always press that little "REPORT TO MODERATOR" link in right bottom. Generally deleted after few minutes of reporting.

Always using but we need a way to slowdown registration.

Is there any bot that can autobet but on smartphones? Ive seen plenty for pc, obviously but i have not seen any for mobile phones, is there any bot ? If not would people be interested in one? I dont have the necessary skills to make one but i would like to see one, it would be really useful for some people.

Don't think there is one available no. ANdroid's OS is too fragmented to support all devices, and I doubt Apple would let anything like this in their app store Smiley

Why do you think apple wont let anything like that in their app store, there are plenty of stupid and illegal things on the app store already so that wont be a problem if you are saying that is hard to make, thats another story

1699  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poll: Are faucets actually good for Casinos? on: May 11, 2015, 08:26:18 AM
Faucet is very good for casino owner, it can attract new visitor to try their gambling site.
It also can make a lot potential new gambler which are starting from faucet.

I have experienced about this case. My friend is faucet hunter, only try to earn bitcoin for free from faucet.
One time he knows about faucet in bitcoin dice casino and start using that faucet.

He learn about that game and start gambling using faucet bonus as capital to gamble.

One day he won several times and withdraw good amount of bitcoin (compare to results from faucet Cheesy )

And for next day he start to use his own coin as capital to gamble there and lose many coins Sad

Still curious about his luck, he start buying bitcoin from his money and gamble it on casino.

What's your guess? Happy Ending or Bad Ending? Cheesy

Yes that was my point, people is greedy and they will eventually lose everything even if they won it from free faucet. But a Faucet Hunter is a interesting thing, you can register on 4-5 different casinos that use faucets and use a fast strategy like betting everything on 50% 10 times or betting 1/4 on 5% something that would make you win a lot with really low chances, if you are lucky you could actually benefit from this
1700  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poll: Are faucets actually good for Casinos? on: May 11, 2015, 08:01:29 AM
Its highly unlikely that you would be able to win big amounts of money from a faucet of 2000 satoshis for example, most people would lose before reaching 0.01 and even if you reach it most people would greed and end up loosing anyways so im pretty sure the casinos do not lose almost any money with faucets
