He would need to store the characters which were already tested to not test the same one twice or even more often.

Why is it necessary to have a dedicated section for small computers ?

The majority of the results shown in your screenshot are offer to sell/buy a raspberry. They would not belong in such a section.
Another result was asking about the cheapest device to host a node. This generic question wouldn't belong there either.

Is it also necessary to create a section regarding large and medium-large computers?
What about operating systems? One section for each OS (MSDOS, Win2000, WinXP, Win7, Win8, Win10, ... ) ?

The questions and discussion aren't about raspberries or the OS. They are bitcoin-related with a connection to a specific OS (e.g. "why is it not running on OS XYZ") or a specific architecture (e.g. "Wallet X is not running on architecture Y").

Du musst beim importieren deines Mnemonic codes nur aufpassen, dass du bei Electrum "Bip39" anklickst.
Sonst sagt dir electrum, dass das kein gültiger code ist und der "Next" button bleibt grau. Das liegt daran, dass electrum nicht dem BIP39 standard (mnemonic codes) folgt, sondern eine eigene Implementierung hat.

Und wie mr.relax schon gesagt hat, muss man je nach Adresstyp einen anderen "derivation path" auswählen.




Kannst du, aber nicht in dein HD-wallet (also das, was von einem seed hergeleitet wird).
Dazu müsstest du ein neues wallet erstellen, was aber weniger als eine Minute dauert. Dort würdest du dann auswählen, dass du einzelne Keys importieren möchtest und dann einfach die private keys dort einfügen.

Zwischen den Wallets switchen geht auch sehr schnell. Entweder beim Öffnen von electrum gleich das richtige auswählen oder oben im Dropdown Menü bei "File" einfach das andere öffnen.

Das hat halt den Nachteil, dass du keine Transaktionen senden kannst die von beiden "wallets" gleichzeitig Coins versenden. Aber das kannst du glaube ich bei den wenigsten (also in Myceliumg geht das so auch nicht).




Also Greenwallet und Breadwallet genießen eigentlich beide einen ziemlich guten Ruf.

An sich ist Coinomi ja auch nicht verkehrt. Aber ich wäre da einfach ein wenig vorsichtiger, so ein grober Patzer wie mit der Google-Rechtschreibprüfung ist schon sehr bedenklich bei einem Wallet.




Legacy würde ich garnicht mehr nutzen. Bietet dir keinen wirklichen Vorteile außer dass es einen festen Standard zum signieren von Nachrichten gibt (kann also immer jeder verifizieren).
Mit Segwit gibt es noch keinen einheitlichen Standard. Wenn du eine Nachricht in electrum signierst, kann diese auch nur in electrum verifiziert werden. Wenn das ein Problem für dich ist, brauchst du definitiv auch noch legacy.
Wenn es nur um signierte Nachrichten innerhalb des Forums hier geht, da haben die meisten auch electrum um das zu verifizieren.

bech32 ist das "echte" segwit. Damit zahlst du am wenigsten Transaktionsgebühren. Das Problem ist aber, dass viele Online-services (z.B. Exchanges) das noch nicht implementiert haben.
Wenn du dort dann was an so eine Adresse auszahlen lassen möchtest, sagen die nur "Ungültige Adresse". Das ist kein Problem des Netzwerkes, sondern deren Software.

P2SH (nested segwit) ist da ein guter Mittelweg. Du sparst an Transaktionsgebühren (im Vergleich zu legacy) und wird von allen Services als valide angesehen.


Wenn du nicht viel hin und her wechseln möchtest weil mal dort und mal hier was nicht geht, würde ich dir zu P2SH (nested segwit) raten.

Und wenn du mal genügend Coins ansammelst, die du wirklich nicht verlieren willst oder kannst wäre ein Hardware wallet was für dich.
Die kosten rund 70-90€ und speichern die private keys in einem Secure Chip. An die kommt man von außen nicht ran. Die bekanntesten 2 Hersteller sind Ledger und Trezor.
Diese sind um ein Vielfaches sicherer als Desktop- oder Mobilewallets.

Das musst du natürlich für dich selber wissen, aber falls du mehr als 400-500€ an BTC (oder anderen coins) hast, wäre es wirklich eine Überlegung wert.

Technisch gesehen sind die schrecklich.. können bech32 nicht decodieren und sind extrem buggy..

Häufig wird im englischen Teil des Forums gefragt wie es sein kann, dass eine Adresse einen negativen Endbetrag hat.
Das kann natürlich nicht sein, aber blockchain.com hat so viele Bugs, dass das dort dann eben auch so erscheint als hätte eine Adresse negative BTC's.

So gut wie alle Explorer sind besser als blockchain.com

Look at the numbers. Do you really think it makes a difference whether it is 5M or 250M keys per second ? That's a factor of 50. That's nothing.

It wouldn't even matter if you'd have 5.000.000M keys per second.

Du könntest irgendein Desktop wallet verwenden (z.B. electrum), und dort dann deinen Mnemonic code vom Mobile wallet importieren.
Dann hättest du auch am Handy und Desktop das "gleiche" Wallet.

Benötigst du denn die Möglichkeit Nachrichten am Handy zu signieren? Oder reicht dir das am Rechner?

Das mit den private keys importieren ist halt so eine Sache.. Die sind halt nicht im Backup mit inbegriffen.
Trotzdem bieten das diverse Mobile wallets (z.B. Mycelium auf Android) an. Generell gibt es da auf Android irgendwie viel mehr als für iOS.

Mit coinomi wäre ich zurzeit etwas vorsichtig.

Vor kurzem wurde erst eine Schwachstelle gefunden. Coinomi hat den Mnemonic code beim Wiederherstellen eines Wallets an Google übermittelt (Rechtschreibprüfung).
Ich glaube das betrifft nur die Desktop-version, sicher bin ich mir diesbezüglich aber nicht.

Würde dann eher auf ein BTC-only wallet welches eine gute Reputation hat zurückgreifen (z.B. Blockstream green wallet, hieß früher "Green Address").

Blockstream Green Wallet hat meines Wissens nach das erstellen sowie das senden an native segwit (bech32) implementiert.
Das ist soweit ich weiß auch eines der wenigen guten Wallets für ios.

He started a scam accusation against gloryninja here. But this is not a case where anyone could say that he indeed scammed someone.

Just because your PC didn't get infected yet (at least as far as you can tell), this doesn't mean that it is not by far less secure than a modern OS.




The OS is not responsible for anything.
But it makes it way easier for an intruder to gain access to your system.

And you have to keep in mind that not every malicious person wants to steal crypto.
Gaining control over a system is enough for most blackhats. Abusing a system for further hacking attempts as a proxy, DDoS,etc.. Finding sensitive data is just the icing on the cake.




A lot of people and malware are exploiting the weak security measurements of Win7.
For example: Ransomware WannaCry. I am sure you heard of it. It only affected Win7 system. Win10 was not affected at all.

Any company affected was running an outdated OS. And they got their comeuppance. Damage which went up into the millions.

Additionally, Win7 networks are vulnerable to PassTheHash.
Win7 has no Hardware based security at all, no Trusted boot, no Virtualization based security (secured environment for critical windows processes) and much more..


If you care about your privacy, you shouldn't use windows at all.
This is not an argument pro win7 / contra win10. This is an argument which is contra windows in general.
