Hmm, komisch.

1782  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I noticed a bitcoin transaction involving one Address. Why was it done? on: May 21, 2020, 11:52:43 AM
Bitcoin does not work on an account basis.
If you receive X transactions to the same address, you have X UTXO's.

So, when you then want to spend all of your funds, you will have X inputs (not just one).

Since the recipient is the same, it can be assumed that he is simply consolidating his inputs.
This means he is converting X UTXO's into 1 UTXO. If he then wants to send his coins when fess are higher, he will have to pay a lower fee since the size of the transaction is smaller with only 1 UTXO instead of X.
This transaction probably has a low fee and its intended to be able to spend the coins later when the fee is higher without needing to pay an insanely high fee.

You rather want to consolidate a lot of UTXO's into one with a low fee (e.g. 1 sat/B), then pay a higher fee when necessary to transact than to not consolidate and pay a higher fee with 10+ inputs.

You can't automate the reCaptcha challenge solving with a script, you'll still have to solve it manually.

You can.
There is a service which solves it for you. You can get 1000 solved captchas for 0.5 to 1$.

Whether it is worth using that on some faucets which give little to no BTC.. i would doubt that.
But you definitely don't need to solve them yourself  Smiley
1784  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: BitGo-Wallet in Electrum? on: May 21, 2020, 11:42:01 AM

1785  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: BitGo-Wallet in Electrum? on: May 21, 2020, 11:08:06 AM

Was für Adressen möchtest du denn generieren? Legacy (1..), Nested Segwit, P2SH (3..) oder Native Segwit (bc1..) ?

1786  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: BitGo-Wallet in Electrum? on: May 21, 2020, 09:33:45 AM

1787  Local / Anfänger und Hilfe / Re: Wie entferne ich Themen aus " Show new replies to your posts" on: May 21, 2020, 09:30:32 AM

"Show new replies to your posts" lässt sich, wie hier erwähnt, nicht bearbeiten.
1788  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: transaction unconfirmed on: May 20, 2020, 08:36:59 PM
Currently there are more than 20 blocks full of transaction with a fee higher than 20 sat/B.

If you are not in a hurry, you can wait it out until it gets confirmed or dropped from the mempool.
However, if you want/need it to confirm soon, you can always either Replace-by-Fee (if the flag is set; which wallet did you use?) or a Child-pays-for-parent if you have control over at least 1 output (e.g. change).
1789  Economy / Reputation / Re: 🔥 [Defamation] At Its Worst During ChipMixer Applications 🔥 on: May 20, 2020, 07:48:44 PM
Is there something preventing you from promoting Chipmixer services to those "characters"?

We both know its not about advertising anything. It's about the money.
But i guess your post was sarcastic anyway.. I don't believe you really expect a proper answer to that question.

Btw, did you know...

If you take the position of each letter in Vispilio's name and add that together:
V=22
i=9
s=19
p=16
i=9
l=12
i=9
o=15

22+9+19+16+9+12+9+15 = 111

and multiply it with the amount of unique letters in his name: V, i, s, p, l, o (=6), you get: 111*6 = 666.

Coincidence? I don't think so. Let's just think about that for a minute.
1790  Other / Off-topic / Re: Protect your personal data: How hackers steal your data. on: May 20, 2020, 04:13:07 PM
1. Phishing - it is a fake email act as a legitimate, they tend to create phishing emails with the intention of stealing your personal information such as your personal data, bank accounts, wallet accounts, etc. They tend to create a panic on the person for example they say that there is a problem in your bank account and you should input all your information to the specific website to fix the problem.

How to stay safe:
* Always check the grammar and spelling.
* Think twice before clicking the links.
* Hackers tend to say some problems on your bank accounts, be wise and always assess the situation

Another thing you can do is to check the mail header.
While the sender can be spoofed, you can take a look at where the mail originated from.
If it supposedly is from coinbase, you should expect its an @coinbase mail address.

2. Malware - it simply means malicious software on your device with the intention of stealing your data as well. These programs can perform a variety of functions some of which include stealing or deleting sensitive data, modifying the system’s core functionalities, and secretly tracking the victim’s activities.

How to stay safe:
* Always use a legitimate antivirus

AV can, but does not have to help.
They can only check for already known malware in their database and for very obvious behavior. Everything else will not be detected.

5. Physical security threats - it simply means a threat from your personal information from other people having direct access to it. It happens when someone physically gains access to your device.

How to stay safe:
* Be careful when storing your personal data
* Do not leave your phone unlocked
* Make sure to have a proper backup

The backup should be encrypted too.
Protecting your system against physical attack vectors, but having an unencrypted backup of your whole system laying around kind of defeats the purpose.
1791  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Anbieter von Bitcoin Prepaid Kreditkarte on: May 20, 2020, 04:03:50 PM
Kam was raus? Cheesy

1792  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: BTC Electrum script error Windows 7 on: May 20, 2020, 04:00:50 PM
here is a reason: being stuck with windows for certain applications [...]

That's what VM's are for.

[...] and not wanting to install the official Microsoft spyware known as Windows 10 Wink

With the security of an unlocked door, anyone can install spyware on a windows 7 machine.
So its a decision between microsoft and everyone who wants to spy.

I put Ubuntu Desktop 20.04 LTS on a 16gb sandisk extreme flash drive using YUMI but it takes 2.5 minutes to load.

Is this how long it should take to boot?

Usually not.
Ubuntu is one of the slower distributions, but 2.5 minutes seem too high.
But different flash drives do also achieve different read/write speed.
1793  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: problem with Blockchain.com on: May 20, 2020, 03:38:30 PM
Why do you use blockchain.com in the first place when you have a hardware wallet? This doesn't make any sense to me.
The same reason for using exodus, a wallet that stores coins and provides a way to transfer between USD/BTC/ALT without the need to use a platform or create more wallets.

What kind of a comparison is this ?
A web wallet (blockchain.com) is used to store and transact with BTC.
A hardware wallet is used to store and transact with BTC.

One of them is pretty secure and the other one is one of the least secure wallets. Literally no good reason to store funds on a web wallet when you have a hardware wallet.

1794  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Vulnerability discovered on bitcoinpaperwallet[.]com - DO NOT USE IT on: May 18, 2020, 03:37:48 PM
This post has been published a year ago.

That's one of the reasons to not use such a service/website to generate a paper wallet. Not even when downloading the source code from github and running it on an offline machine.
It is just not worth the risk.
1795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin not arrived / Ledger S / Electrum / Help me. on: May 18, 2020, 03:25:45 PM
For me it looks now like he is / was not the owner of the adress.
What you think?

That's what i think too.

>> ismine("bc1qj50q40uugqq23pz2nxgey3u2f0lphy3ls4x567")
false

This confirms the assumption that your friend is not in control of the address.

He dont want to steal something from me, also no one ist infected.

Well, he obviously gave you an address which does not belong to his hardware wallet.
So he either..
1) gave you a different address on purpose,
2) is infected with some kind of malware (e.g. clipping board changing malware) or
3) copy/pasted the wrong address.
1796  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: BTC Electrum script error Windows 7 on: May 18, 2020, 03:22:28 PM
Which would be the best version of Linux to install to flash drive, I want something that boots fast just for the purpose of Electrum signing.

It doesn't really matter.
All of them take relatively the same time to boot (faster than windows).

Feel free to go with Debian, Mint or even Ubuntu. You can find quite a lot tutorials on the internet on how to install them onto  a flash drive.
1797  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: How to move BTC from Legacy to Segwit on: May 18, 2020, 11:27:04 AM
Moving from legacy to segwit simply just needs a transaction to a segwit address.
Just follow HCP's steps to create a segwit wallet and move your funds over to that address.

Keep in mind that some outdated exchanges can not send to a bech32 address (addresses starting with bc1..; native segwit).
They simply don't know yet that this is a valid address.
If you insist on using those outdated services/exchanges, you might want to have a legacy or nested segwit (p2sh; addresses starting with 3..) address in reserve.

Is it safe?

Yes.
1798  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: BTC Electrum script error Windows 7 on: May 18, 2020, 11:23:47 AM
Please. For the sake of your security. Stop using Windows 7.

There are multiple security mechanisms not present in windows 7, which are used in windows 10.
Windows 7 is extremely insecure. And it even was insecure before it reached its end of life in January.

There is literally not a single reason to still use this outdated and insecure OS.
1799  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why has my newly created Bitcoin address already been used? on: May 18, 2020, 10:46:41 AM
I liked the idea of creating PrivKeys myself, with dices or any other kind of entropy because that way I am totally sure I am the only one that knows it, but at the end I don't know what to do with it, how do I get an Address from an HEX Priv Key?? What about downloading several paper wallets sites, running them offline in a Live OS and comparing their results to make sure they are giving me the same WIF and Address?? does anyone have a better suggestion??

It is easy.

Download and verify a live linux distribution.
Install it onto an USB stick.
Boot it.
Use /dev/random to gather 256 bit of entropy.
Use openssl to generate your private key, public key and address.

If you don't trust a linux distribution like debian or arch or don't trust your hardware, you will never be able to use bitcoin securely.
In the end, you do need a computer to send a transaction. You need to trust your hardware.

Just don't use use shit like online paper wallet generators. Not even offline. And not from github.
Just don't use them at all.

< snip >

I just only made this on visual studio with the use of arrays and it is the full project on the download link from Google drive if this will harm other users I will now closed the thread and remove the link.

This might be very well just a false positive.
But generally, i'd be careful with files from accounts which are only a few months old.

I do not imply that you are a malicious actor. I just point out the possibility.
