2061  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Finally Bitcoin is legal in my country 8) on: November 22, 2017, 05:19:27 AM
A latest news about 15 minutes ago I found at the social media with a video at TV direct mobile recorded ( CNBC news )
Thier was clearly mentioned that Bitcoin will be legalized , currently the Bitcoin unregulated and this will take about 6
Months to regulate with the new rules against the Bitcoin to control and stop the missuse in illegal activities .

Ask yourself a question that by saying it, you completely agree and are bound to follow all those "rules" that are needed in order to "regulate" bitcoins? I am completely satisfied on your stance about illegal activities to be stopped after this, but on the other hand, don't you think we are again going on the same path to becoming slaves of the government where we will need to give eachand every info of our transactions to them? At present, they are only tracing your fiat finances, but once bitcoin becomes a regulated thing, centralization will surely take place and mark my words, none will be supporting it but will only let us all back off of it.

Quote
So why not we should have positive thinking about the Bitcoin that have have good future and support by the many countries .
Share your thoughts about the status of the Bitcoin in your country .
Cheers .

Neither bitcoin is supported here, nor they are against it here in my country because it's going mainstream, so they are not talking it too much due to the fact that the more they will say anything about it, the more it will gain attention.
2062  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Do bitcoin wallets work? It's safe? on: November 21, 2017, 03:08:48 AM
Having a wallet installed on a PC or smartphone doesn't matter, what matters are those adverts that pop-up and ask you to "install" their softwares that promise you to protect/safeguard your PC/phone from threats, but they are threats themselves to your machine/cell. It's better to keep one safe thing just for the purpose of Bitcoins' storage (you can buy a cheap smartphone and use it for the purpose of storing Bitcoins only - a cold storage). If you do not surf internet on it and won't download anything except your wallet, you are fine. If your PC is not safe when you visit some websites which have the potential to suck the computational power out of your PC without your consent to mine any coin, do you think wallets are that safe?

2064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this Right time to Buy the Bitcoin ? on: November 20, 2017, 05:10:04 PM
I want to know should I go to buy for the bitcoin right now?
Should I need to wait some more time?

Waiting would not be fine currently as the value is higher but can break the 10k levels really soon if 8500 target is reached before the end of November (which looks quite easy as the current rate is 8233 while I am writing this). I think it's still a better choice if you decide it on your own as if your knowledge doesn't allow you to get in atm, then I would ask you not to buy. The reason why I believe it may still shoot up is that mainstream is calling Bitcoins and it's being spread like wildfire and the Bitcoin economy is taking a whole new shape where it's not going to be the same.

2066  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Confirmed transaction - Order cancelled. Will bitcoin come back to my wallet? on: November 20, 2017, 06:41:47 AM
I sent 0.01587494 bitcoin with a 0.00000494BTC fee to an online market vendor. The transaction took 4 days to confirm by which time the market had cancelled the order. But it is confirmed now. This was over 3 weeks ago now but no bitcoin has come back into my electrum wallet. Do I have to do anything to get it back? Or will it eventually show up? Or is it in the vendors account or escrow? Any help would be really appreciated.

Here's the info from Blockchain if that's of any help.

It's simple, ask the merchant to refund you and if they have any refund policy for such canceled transactions, then they must help you by sending your coins back to you. It was not the merchant's fault either as the fee that you put was "exceptional" enough to get your tx confirmed in seconds.  Lips sealed
Try to pay better fees next time you buy something from an online merchant, so that you may not get "trapped" in the fee web.
2067  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Warning aceminers.com is a scam on: November 20, 2017, 06:35:11 AM
I am guilty of trying to get involved in bitcoin too fast.   I placed an order and sent BTC to aceminer.com thinking I finally found a place that is selling the S9 for only a little over the bitmain price. WRONG!  I am out $2k and have no other option to deal with my loss besides posting here help someone else avoid the mistake.   I am kicking myself for an expensive lesson learned. I can see the address I sent my funds to is receiving money in the same rough increments about 1-2/hr.

This is unbelievable and disappointing in myself and others that go to his effort to steal!

Hope someone will avoid the mistake I just made.

Sorry for your loss as well as the mistake you committed. Can you please post the proof of your transaction (the address from which you sent and the address they received it at, as well as a signed message from your "sent" address)?
You must have taken a screenshot of them showing the address where you sent your BTC as it would work way better and could even help you get a refund processed if they are found guilty.
They also have an online chat facility, if you can't try it out please show us your tx id and we will do it for you.
2068  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC analysis for this month! on: November 20, 2017, 06:08:46 AM
UPDATE: Sorry for the long delay as I was busy with some issues. The value went down to 5750 and was shot back to very 7900 and is currently 8k. We have our next target at 8500 which holds as a resistance for now based on price action, and I believe that it will break that very soon as we are extremely near to that target and once broken, 11k won't be too far. The base for this increase is the surge in investors who are getting added to the list and pushing the prices higher as they have something huge in mind. Stay calm, hold tight and let the Btc rock.

2071  Economy / Speculation / Re: SW2x cancelation will crash Bitcoin on: November 09, 2017, 07:21:48 PM
SW2x was Bitcoins hope. Now that scaling bitcoin is once again out of sight for the foreseeable future,  we can expect prices to fall back to levels before there was any hope. People will look for scaleable alternatives again as they did before.

What made you feel like that? Scaleability? S2X was a hope? Nope. S2X was just another plan like BCH (in my views) and everybody wanted it for free coins, nothing else as they don't know what scaling is, they are just in for free money. And by the way, Bitcoin has already managed to scale the transactions and fees way better than it used to, after having SegWit into effect which helped it compress the transactions to include more of them and confirm faster with lower* fees.

* = Depends on a per-transactions basis.

Quote
We can easily fall back to 2500-3000 levels within a week. 1000-1500 within a month is very likely.
No hope, no value.

Nobody wanted S2X IMHO, so where's their hope diminished? Isn't it still there?
It will not go under 6k, mark my words.
2072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Forecast for the next week. on: November 09, 2017, 07:00:28 PM
One is certain here: the fact that SegWit2x hard fork is called off means less uncertainty going forward and that augurs well for the BTC in the long run.
Don't pay attention to this small decline - it has been always like that when bitcoin reached ATH - people just want to make an immediate profit and are selling off coins to make a quick buck.
We might see bearish movement for a brief moment - but that is a great time to purchase more BTC.

That's what the "TRADERS" do, but "INVESTORS" don't think the same way.
Traders sell at highs while investors wait for it to decline to buy some more stash.
Traders speculate market's moves, investors decide market's wagers.
"Think as an investor" is my advice to those who believe that selling off is better.
If you will not hold, I believe you aren't ought to see those prices you speak about.
2073  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Must Crash - $7500 Is The Peak on: November 09, 2017, 06:49:45 PM
I dont think that it will crash soon, the price has been going super bullish for more than two weeks but it does not mean that the price will crash to zero or to less than four thousand dollars again.
I think that it will still be at this rate for some more days, nobody wants to see the price going down because it is not good for all of us who are still holding some bitcoins at the moment.
Maybe it would be a good opportunity to buy, but it is not convenient at all.
The mechanics of how a crash and a bear slide follow is this. If you have seen, the rally is exponential. Such markets is incompatible  with any short term "steady state". It must either rise sharply or fall steeply - there cannot be a side way market, say about $7000 for the next 1 month. This implies only two situations.

It is either rally to $12,000 or crash to $4000 in a month.

Which do you think is more likely?

I won't just go with the market's decision alone because demand and supply is what matters a lot and you can see yourself that the demand has risen from dust to skies which conglomerated investors to put their money into something called as the "most safe-haven ASSET" of 2017. Markets are looking for better proceedings from investors which is why we may see a "small" correction (not crash) in the next few days after which the spike that you are speaking about, will surely take place. And by the way, 7500 wasn't the peak but 7600 is the ATH for now.
2074  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining vs environment on: November 09, 2017, 06:43:20 PM
Mining consumes a lot of electricity. In most states electricty is still produced by old factories, that use coal, oil and other raw materials. Therefore, production of electricty makes enormous contamination of atmosphere. Nowadays, mining becomes such kind of mainstream.
Can we assume that our planet is dying much faster?

That's why many developers are talking about switching to environment-friendly algorithm alternatives like PoS (Proof-of-Stake) for the future of bitcoin. Also, Satoshi's vision for PoW includes quantum computing to be a part of the mining process to 'at least' lower the amount energy needed by these bulky mining rigs.

Can you please enlighten me on quantum computing? And how it differs from the current mining propagation?
I believe that if Bitcoin goes PoS (which is really good and will undoubtedly save too much energy that these "bulky" mining equipments are consuming), its value will bust and become dust (possibly) because they are buying it as mining is the only thing that's giving much better rewards which I believe that even after implementing PoS, they won't be getting and even if they do, it will be worthless. They are not mining, they are "working" it out to support the whole network which is needed under the protocol.

2076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Fork gone! BTC to $10k in 2017 guaranteed! on: November 09, 2017, 06:27:38 PM
The uncertainty and general possible mayhem of the fork was the only thing standing in the way of $10,000 BTC by end of 2017. Now with the fork removed I think we are guaranteed to hit it in December.

I believe it's not, because fork was one of the major reasons why BTC spiked to new ATHs.
But after their pre-announcement of fork cancellation has put Bitcoins open to some sudden crash possibilities.
If not, it will still follow the correction pattern before it starts to rush again towards 10k for real.

Quote
How high do you think it'll go before end of year? If Bitcoin keeps its average pace this year it'll hit $11,000 roughly on the last day of the year.

10k looks reasonable here as Bitcoin still holds above 7150 and this shows that the support of buyers is really strong to keep it holding over there.
It's just 30-35% above the current value, so won't take longer to be there.
2077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Segwit2X Cancelled on: November 09, 2017, 06:21:18 PM
Bitcoin retrace? it is time to go long or to go out?

It's time for a small correction, so wait and see the rebound and get in once it stops somewhere near 6500 (that's what I am seeing on the charts in the next 3-5 days) after which it will skyrocket and consolidate towards a new ATH which will be possibly near 10k. I believe we are in the middle of a big historic decision yet as S2X was just a fake part, but the real one will make it hit to our expected levels.
2078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to predict bitcoin price increase and decrease? on: November 09, 2017, 03:06:46 PM
Hello everyone, I would like to know to where to get
an idea on knowing how to predict the increase and
decrease of bitcoin price. Is there an applications or
software? If anyone have an idea please share it with us.

Thanks
Are you joking ?
It is absolutely impossible to know when Bitcoin will increase or decrease in value.
The only reality is if you think Bitcoin is a good thing for humanity, Bitcoin will increase a lot.

Stop talking childish because everyone here can at least speculate here and sometimes they really get firm results out of it.
The reasons behind that is they know the news before general public (some special whales) or people like us speculate things here based on knowledge and news about the markets. You need to completely understand the difference between facts and rumors and we can surely know market's moves that it will make in the short term.
2079  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: To mine or invest? on: November 09, 2017, 01:30:51 PM
Hey, total newbie here looking to break into collecting coins lol

What is the most effective way to start?
How much would it cost to build a setup to mine verses just investing?

Mining needs too much investment as well as stash and hardware in order to have a start up in this lean field. It would cost no less than 2500 - 10k USD to buy all the equipment you need to begin with mining during current days. Investing in Bitcoins will also be very expensive but it gives much better returns as well as possess less risks compared to mining where your electricity could cost higher or even cut off which will lessen the efficiency of your mining equipment.
2080  Economy / Securities / Re: Do you invest in moneypot bankroll again? on: November 09, 2017, 11:33:56 AM
These guys look like very smart and expert in cheating investors and that's why investors can't catch them even after losing all their bankroll investment and they are coming up again with some updates.

Do you still want to invest again?

Nope, because when their previous games were running smoothly and they managed to give best returns to their investors, I smelled some catch behind the scenes. They went off saying that someone won big over there and they were unable to give back even the capital amounts. After all this, they came up with their ICO believing that everyone will trust them back, but they only flipped down to get a measly 5 - 10 Bitcoin investment (which is also not less than 35-40k USD). I can't believe how others put trust on them.

Quote
My personal feeling is better not to invest in moneypot and find some other casino bankrolls who is running honestly.

Agree with you that we should all stay away from them at any cost and should not even think of playing back there.
