1201  Economy / Services / Re: CRYPTO FRIENDLY BANK ACCOUNT OPENING SERVICE | SEPA/Faster Payments/Swift on: October 14, 2020, 06:14:02 PM
Why would people need you to open an account for them, that too crypto friendly when they can just sell their coins themselves and get their money/cash in their hands quickly? And like condoras asked, I am very much interested in the meaning of a 'crypto friendly bank account' because no banks are officially involved in direct crypto to fiat conversions, else p2p would never be successful.

We do have 3-4 exchanges that are in talks with us about listing the tokens. Regarding the value of the tokens, we do not know about that as the token is not intended to be profitable or as a kind of investment for our users.
The general idea is to give out the token free to our community and every now and then, we will put 10-30% of the platform revenue back into the tokens. Its our way of rewarding the community for the tremendous support. Maybe some people can make some money off it lol. We do not intend to make any profit off the tokens. We are 100% self funded project.

This is great. I request you not to go for those defi based swapping exchanges if you have them in your list because we may get scammed there. If we will get it through faucet, then I don't think the price of these tokens will be high because there will be a lot of sellers trying to catch the train when you will fund the bags with 30% of website's revenue.
1203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021 on: October 10, 2020, 04:51:39 PM
<<>>
Ethereum is another good choice and I am also hoping that the 2.0 will bring some good changes and as well cause the market to grow. The idea of Ethereum is really good that investors will always consider it as a choice. I know of ripple, but I have not invested in it before. Same thing with Tezos and ChainLink, but I know ChainLink is good.

If Ethereum 2.0 does not help out with higher gas fees that are being paid for the transactions of different tokens working on its smart contracts, I don't see Ethereum to be succeeding at any cost later but will only lose its worth. Btc will always be the one and only coin I want in my portfolio because it is at a level which does not seem to be broken up or down so quickly like we saw in the defi (yfi) crash. It is better to earn small percentages than trying to gain 300x and the next day, our portfolio's worth will not be worth 3% of our capital.
1204  Economy / Speculation / Re: COVID-19 Vaccine Will Cause Bitcoin Crash on: October 10, 2020, 04:25:38 PM
A lot of FUD floats around here and normally I ignore most of them. If you remember, we were expecting a spike after the block reward halving in May 2020. That never realized, because the markets crashed as a result of the COVID 19 pandemic. The stock markets recovered eventually, however the Bitcoin exchange rate remained at the same level. So I am hopeful that once the pandemic is over, there will be a big recovery in Bitcoin exchange rates.

The recovery rate has increased, but is still lower than expected after the vaccine release news came. I am watching so many analysts who have changed their sentiments from bullish to bearish as they think like a 2018 type of crash is incoming. I don't know that based on what evidence have they started thinking like that. Whatever will happen, if btc crashes again that low, I will also buy some coins and wait till it does 10x.
1205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any one know what will be the future of wazirx coin. on: October 10, 2020, 03:50:44 PM
Wazirx is an exchange based in India and their daily volume is highly competitive against some big exchanges in the market. If you want to assume and speculate on wazirx coin, please look at the success of BNB coin. Binance was found in mid 2017 and is now the king of all crypto exchanges, and the same can be called for wazirx if we talk about India. I see wazirx coin to have the potential of becoming a 50-100x coin in the future.
1206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [~1 BTC Bounty] on: October 10, 2020, 03:17:10 PM
It's unrealistic to ask for changes to help a single person but if the change required seems to be small, it's tempting to ask 'why not?'. Perhaps it's not yet small enough at current price and block reward levels.

Anyone who's making a new product is also unlikely to be using uncompressed keys in 2020 anyway.

Can a group of miners be formed if they are interested in doing this not for money but to help out the guy stuck in the transaction while the amount of BTC could be worth 5-10 years of spends for him? I know that this will be against the protocol because some rules may be broken, but can't this happen for ever? Or can this guy be provided help with a soft fork?
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What You Think About UNI coin Is It good to Hold It For Longterm perspective on: October 10, 2020, 02:18:27 PM
The defi craze seems to be ending too soon as someone bursted the bubble by pinning the needle. You can observe how fast it went up yet it was still days after we saw those prices, but when it started plummetting, it was faster than when it was all pumping. So this is all just some craze that will end up soon, newbies are being asked not to invest their hard earned money in these projects without deeply researching about them.
1208  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi.com | Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 10, 2020, 01:30:26 PM
We are actively working, making updates, adding new features and changes. One of the things we value the most is the communities feedbacks and suggestions. We take this very seriously and will always implement/ make the necessary changes. Really appreciate the support and we won't let you all down.

I am very glad that you came in front and answered all the questions kindly. Now all out confusions are clear about kyc, license and withdrawal fees. While the website is still new and can have a lot of bugs, I think you should ask your developer to launch and add a test coin for your website like (example) BNM 'Betnomi coin' and allow us to test the website by giving us some free coins like we get at bitsler too. This will help you in finding major bugs and remove them from the site, may these test coins play a leading role in adding more audience to your site.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do You think about YFI ? on: October 10, 2020, 12:57:51 PM
When asked, it was worth investing in the month of September but now, defi has been sent into grave and is worth shit. This fake pump in the price of defi tokens can't convince me that they are of any worth except that the total money locked into the project for nothing but lending and borrowing purposes.
1210  Other / Meta / Re: Possible solution to merit burning on: October 10, 2020, 12:30:32 PM
Instead of burning merits or loading a lot to the current merit sources, I think the best solution to this is to give chance to newer members as merit sources with the current ones. @theymos may also decide whom to be given how many smerits to share based on their activity and then reduce/increase a source's smerits based on how actively they did their job of sharing them.
1211  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi.com | Crypto Centric 🏀Sportsbook and 🎲Casino - 🔥Biggest Jackpots on: October 10, 2020, 09:09:03 AM
@betnomi, I tried my best to search the whole website as well as this thread but there is nothing mentioned about the withdrawal fees. Is there any withdrawal fee applicable when I will go for a withdrawal or is it free? Can I withdraw any amount in USD or is there a minimum amount that I need to have before I can go for a withdrawal?

There is currently a withdrawal fee of +0.00040000 for BTC and of +0.00600000 for ETH. For other coins, the fees are negligible. The minimum withdrawal for Bitcoins is 10$ and for every other coins is 5$.

Thank you for reply.
I was once a player at duckdice and they allowed exchanging any crypto to their listed crypto at no extra cost. Will you allow exchanging btc to other crypto at your website in future?
1212  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Interviews] with Bitcointalk members on: October 10, 2020, 08:55:23 AM
@zasad@, feeling honored for being interviewed by you. It is my pleasure to be here.

So let's start.

Quote
1. When and why did you become interested in cryptocurrencies?

I was an addicted gambler once and I was not happy with the traditional banking system which gives Central Banks all the information of our transactions. It always pinched me in my heart whenever anybody knew or can check my transactions through my statements. Then I came to know about Bitcoins through this forum while searching for a gambling dedicated forum and a friend recommended me this place and asked me to try btc to gamble in online casinos.

Quote
2. When and why did you buy your first bitcoin?

Though skeptical at first, I bought some coins in early 2014 for my gambling habits and I was lucky to win a lot those days, which turned this into a deadly combination. I sold all my btc at $600, not patient enough to wait for $1000 again.

Quote
3. How did you get on the forum?

Through one of my friends who asked me to visit this place while educating me about btc.

Quote
4.1. What prevents mass adoption of cryptocurrencies?

I think this crypto revolution took place so quickly that people who were not so technically sound were not ready to accept this technology and are still not understanding its value but just chime in for their own financial growth by looking for higher returns alone. This mentality is one main reason (which I believe) has made people blind and the slaves of old banking system. This needs to be unstripped to make them believe in crypto and see its real potential beyond financial gains.

Quote
4.2. How do you think mass advertising of gambling projects has a positive effect on the development of the forum or harms the community?

Gambling is just a thing, and it is solely our decision to gamble or not, and so it becomes our own responsibility if we win or lose. I said that to clarify that gambling cannot harm the community in any way, it is my personal view on this. Mass advertising of gambling is helping this forum for sure till some extent or signatures would have been banned already because most companies that advertise here are from gambling industry.

Quote
4.3. How do you consider whether 2-3 years of experience in cryptocurrency is enough to successfully invest or does an investor need to receive special education?

Any level of experience is less and we get to learn something new in the investment world every day. I am lucky to have seen the death of defi projects which can be seen as an example. Special education cannot teach an investor what their personal experience can do.

Quote
5. What do you think of the current Merit system and signature campaigns?  Do they harm the forum?

The beauty of this forum is in merits. Something that motivates me a lot to write quality posts for the forum members as this is my passion. Smiley
No, signature campaigns help the members to do the advertisement through their work and get rewarded for their contribution to the community. Mark my words, those who are active here, like to make money while helping others. So no harm to the forum because these campaigns are the reason which draw the attention of users globally and make them come here, learn and share their thoughts every day.

Quote
6. The most useful forum topic? Most helpful users?

The most useful topic is the unofficial rules version of the forum.
Every user is useful in their area, but as it needs a specific answer, I like Yahoo, TryNinja, LoyceV, Hhampuz.

Quote
7. 3 things you would implement on the forum?

An archive button - I need an archive button to save some pages on the forum instead of going to a third party website.

Allow mods to change trust settings from a DT to another user if that user comes out to be innocent but that DT goes offline due to some reasons.

Allow gif avatars. Wink

Quote
8. Do you trade on exchanges or invest in projects?

Trading because it is all transparent and on point, I don't invest as I don't want to risk my money into something I don't know anything about.

Quote
9. Tell a story about your big profit or big loss?

Had a position in QNT for a very long time which gave me 20 yikes my investment, that was my biggest profit.
Sold my home and gambled away the whole month, that was my biggest loss.

Quote
10. What do you think about the DEFI ecosystem?

A scam of its kind, defi will not blow your mind but it will just blow off your capital.

Quote
11. Is your anonymity a vital necessity or precaution?

As my friend was the guy who referred me here, I can't say it's a vital necessity to me. So precaution is a better option. But it is good for some people to know what are you doing, and these people need to be trustworthy for you.

Quote
12. The last cryptocurrency book you read?

I don't like reading at all.  Tongue

Quote
13. Advise 3 cryptocurrencies/tokens for investment in the next 1-2 years?

BiTcoIn
bItCOiN
BITCOIN

Now you know the best cryptocurrency to invest in the next 2 years, go grab it. I do not like any other crypto except when I am gambling and btc fees blow up, I prefer xrp or ltc at that time.

Quote
14. How much will Bitcoin cost at the end of 2020?

I think $10k to $12k as it is looking stable and looks like it will hold it there.
1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Important news for Iranians on: October 09, 2020, 08:43:34 PM

Can you post source of this news why is this going to happen but one thing is good as right now most of altcoins are declining so this could be very helpful for investors as they can buy some good amount of coins for good profit in near future.

I am the source of this news and I know that the flow of thought must be controlled in this situation.
Also, as you said, you can take a look at altcoins.

What? Are you saying that Iranians are pumping the altcoins?
Or that news is helping BTC to skyrocket? No. International stocks plummeted badly after Trump news came out, followed by crypto later. After this decline, came a news that Bitmex CEO Arthur Hayes and a few other employees have been sentenced to jail for not complying with AML regulations. Still there was no effect on btc and it remained stable, for which alts are now rallying up.
1214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Important news for Iranians on: October 09, 2020, 07:52:37 PM
If you think that switching to Bitcoins is easier, please go and watch out the available sell orders and you will see that the number has grown exponentially. The entire country's money will not be able to manipulate even 1/5th of the price upwards because it is a falling economy and nobody is so stupid to buy their currency when they know they will be in big loss. Now there is too much competition as well for buying Bitcoins, so this will not help them if they don't get buyers for their currency.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 12 years and no country has approved Bitcoin ?? on: October 09, 2020, 07:16:26 PM
:)Bitcoin was launched in 2007. It's 12 years and still no country has approved Bitcoin ??   Huh

Bitcoin is not someone's father's personal Visa that needs approval from countries. It can freely be transferred (with a nominal fee) to any place without any boundaries and intermediaries involved. What kind of approval do you need more than this? There are countries where the state of crypto is still unclear but a few countries have already welcomed crypto and started accepting it.

Quote
and in 2018, 2nd richest man "Warren Buffet" said "bitcoin will end up badly" Smiley

And I think we should not give his words too much credibility here. If you are a blind follower of him, why are you worried about Bitcoin?
1216  Economy / Economics / Re: Square invests 50 million USD in BTC: instrument of economic empowerment on: October 09, 2020, 04:43:21 PM
Bagging in this huge btc shows that global level entrepreneurial interest has grown a lot in cryptocurrencies and this will bring a huge revolution by adding more stability to the markets. This has also blown a bugle and started a competition between companies to try to purchase btc at the best price. Good or bad at present, but these companies that invested in btc know that they will be playing in big numbers some day in the near future.

1218  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam]: Fake Yearn.Finance on: October 09, 2020, 02:09:03 PM
Defi has been taking off, Total Value Locked in Defi Jumped 85% in August, $8 Billion in Assets Held. And this yield farming is also making a hype, however, there are a lot of anonymous projects that simply exit scam or write a backdoor code to steal investors money. So it is really dangerous out there, as not only the project themselves are scamming, but cyber actors are also leveraging it as their target just like what the OP has posted, mis spelling or typo attacks. This is a good catch and hope no one falls for it.

These scammers don't limit themselves to writing a backdoor code when they want to scam innocent investors but even target swapping websites like uniswap, sushiswap, burgerswap and others which warn users about possible duplicacy of an existing project (like yearn finance) where these scammers use the same name of the project but their contract address is different. It is better to keep your eyes open while investing your money to swap or give liquidity on a specific pair at these websites.
1219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Rather learn to trade by yourself on: October 09, 2020, 11:14:09 AM
Trader needs to learn discipline at first to become capable of following his own rules. If you decide to leverage at 5x but you are sure that this trade can make you 20% with 5x and then, greed knocks in and you decide to make it 10x, your risk doubles here. Do not go for more than what is decided. And always put a stop loss in this because leveraging is another type of gambling where you get the game or you go home being a loser.

Mark my words - It is not necessary to lose first to become a successful trader.

Ow  Shocked so it means transaction are free. This is the first time I've read about free transaction fees, so it's possible for casinos. This is great Luckyb.it  Roll Eyes

Free transaction fees? Fees can't be free.
I used to play at luckybit long ago in their (now) classic version and it was all on-chain. I don't think we were ever charged a fee to get our winnings back to our wallet. When they did not charge it then, I don't think they will charge it in the future because they already have a big backup and a team of professionals doing great job for the website.
