2081  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: January 13, 2023, 07:13:34 AM
Ive been into airdrops before and bounty campaign. I could say is before only few are joining the airdrops unlike now that dozens of people are lining up to join it which reduces the reward significantly. Also the value of airdrop before somehow considerable and huge but now its different too. Maybe not enough for a gas usage when you try to sell.

Also some projects are linked with scammers and only trying to use participants as a tool for marketing to execute a huge scheme.
2082  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [P2P]Is there anyone who knows good bank for P2P trading ? on: January 13, 2023, 05:16:46 AM
Hello all,

I would like to know if some of you are making P2P trading ? and if yes if you know some banks to do the P2P trading. IT appears that most of them would block you after you receive too much monney transfer from unknown person on your bank account.
thank you all
Not all are scammers. Where is your place mate? If you arent have much close person to deal off then use some third party trusted p2p site like Binance id they did supported your country. They offer as mediator or escrow for the transaction and make sure youll get your money or else theyll hold the seller tokens as collateral if they plan to scam someone.
2083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is a Blue Chip NFT? on: January 13, 2023, 04:26:50 AM
Not different with a non blue chip nft except that its branded as secure or legit. However, regardless whether its good, the nft market is highly saturated now and you can see a lot of projects go down. Maybe before its really profitable, and even use case sometimes its not that worth at all to hold and only those rich are shilling those expensive jpeg nft for a price raise.
2084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 13, 2023, 03:45:56 AM
I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.
Its good taking consideration to buy bitcoin and its not a bad decision considering its the number 1 cryptocurrency and only decentralized project 100%. Also it did come from an airdrop which isnt that hurt much if you get loss. Also its impossible for btc to stay this low in the long run.

That opinion by your friend is just a suggestion. He maybe right but for me bnb isnt bad at all especially with the use case and benefits on their platform.
2085  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One of the things that make people to make good content in posting on: January 12, 2023, 04:17:23 PM
Despite that I'm new and i haven't earn merit, but i believe with research and time i will earn merit, i will be happiest person the day i will earn a merit.
Yes you are right. In time youll earn your first merit but with lots of research first. Maybe avoid talking about it for the meantime and talk other topic related to bitcoin or crypto. Some newbies are focusing on that thats why some got an idea that you are after merits, so I suggest you leave this for a while and research on other things. Good luck on your journey.
2086  Other / Off-topic / Re: My wife doesn't like me spending much time on my phone, she thinks am cheating on: January 12, 2023, 02:10:41 PM
The best reasoning I ever read for 2023. To please your wife, I think its only you who could do that. Just explain that you are focusing on learning here but thats not an excuse to be so busy. Hanging around here doesnt mean you are 24/7 on your laptop/phone reading all threads.

Should I quit chatting regularly online to please my wife or to ignore her and the peace of my home to continue gaining knowledge here??
Things are getting serious and soon getting out of hand
Kinda feels your torn between a gold and an apple. You should really do some time management, and this is not even a choice to ask for.

Thanks for the tips. I think for simple desktop users these virus is really not good and can really deceived them. Not all are proficient to execute those of you suggested to avoid this kind of malicious files. So the safest way is always check what you download online cause with a simple site, it could ruin your asset once he able to set up those click baits.
2088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why retail dont like xrp ? Are you xrp army ?what about garlinghouse on: January 12, 2023, 06:23:47 AM
2022 was the perfect year to illustrate this point, so it is not really that surprising XRP has been losing ground against other centralized coins over the last years.
Last year was terrible year with a lot of bad publicity and fraud exposures plus there is a recession ongoing. It hurts but those who lack convictions gotten in the way. I didnt actually thought the ftt incident as Sam is one of the biggest crypto user to be found to be like this. I do hope xrp can still be change, a lot to process but since they given another sweer escape on lawsuit maybe hope for the better but dont expect.
2089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hackers hide malware in fake NFT game on: January 12, 2023, 05:06:36 AM
but it is strange that the wallets allow screen recording while writing passwords in the wallets.

For seeds, the situation is easier.
Even more scarier if this is true. Yes and thats really dangerous for any users. Imagine if this kind of virus pass on millions of platforms that are popular and some users might not be able to figured out this sooner. Lots of money will be compromise.
2090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why retail dont like xrp ? Are you xrp army ?what about garlinghouse on: January 12, 2023, 03:11:40 AM
Theres no problem witg xrp in terms of utility in fact its much faster than bitcoin and less fees. However they are fully centralized. If you dont want to get caught on a massacre once they did it then better avoid it right? Anything centralized could turn away anytime and thats a fact. Take a look on what happened on other projects like FTT, this is a big fish but yet got died in the process. We never knew when these things would occur and it will be anytime and we sont have a clue for it.
2091  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be fool! on: January 12, 2023, 02:58:56 AM
I think that is too much praise. Its not that we dont believe in bitcoin but being overconfident to something that has volatile is still need precautions. Yes bitcoin is decentralized so being low or high is on its nature. We cant boosted it on some normies out there that its super legit. Why not explain how bitcoin works and let them do the grasping and let them decide whether its worth the penny or not.
2092  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Not To Use Mobile Altcoin Wallet - But Use Desktop Wallet on: January 11, 2023, 09:08:36 PM
Mobile altcoin wallets are not safe, because there are viruses and malware targeting mobile phones. The best way would be use desktop wallet versions. Also antivirus soft are mainly developed for desktop.
The best one are always open source. Even its mobile or desktop as long as there are no closed source or centralized aspect its safe. There are many wallets proclaiming to be decentralized but of course we must not be deceived by those. Regarding malicious files. Im not sure if desktop are more safer than mobile though a lot of viruses have been found on desktop versions.
2093  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Are Some Of The Most Efficient Ways To Invest My Bitcoin Earnings? on: January 11, 2023, 05:59:09 PM
What are some of the most efficient ways to invest my bitcoin earnings to yield profit and is the strategy of investing due for long term or short term period?
Find a farming or staking coins that has a huge apy and has certain moderate to high market cap. Yes it might be risky but there are some with good profits with it especially the price are stable or not going down fast. Or yet do some trading buy low sell high, in that you could do some profiting with your bitcoin earning. But you must understand the risk. Or put up some investment on mutual funds or any low risk business venture. Its always high risk high reward. Without that then you could only gain nothing much.
2094  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto selling method on exchanges on: January 11, 2023, 04:25:16 PM
So, what do you prefer, to sell your coins instantly for less or to open an order and profit a slight better margin, reaching the general market's prices rates?
For me it depends. If I need the money right away then I just sell it on the market offers. Its not like a huge difference when bid on a sell offer. But If Im not on a rush then I just hold a good position on my liking and wait for it. Thats what I do when I am doing trading but not all the time since nowadays its quite bearish so its hard to do a short term trading.
2095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hackers hide malware in fake NFT game on: January 11, 2023, 03:58:35 PM
After installing the game, RAT, a computer remote control virus, is installed on the victim's computer, which ultimately allows hackers to fully monitor all the victim's actions, including stealing passwords and seed phrases.
Thats a strong malicious virus, I think monitoring ones activity is common but the ability to steal passwords and phrase, is that can be done for example there are saves files on his folders? Or only if he can sees the activity where the phrases are been look up into?

Is there any news of this fraudulent in apps and mobiles already or only on pcs and laptops? Thanks Op this is a great news another one to avoid.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto.com delists Tether(USDT) for Canadians on: January 11, 2023, 04:45:22 AM
The question is why the Ontario Securities Commission prohibits Tether in the first place because that is where it gets interesting. Like, for what reason does USDT get prohibited? We all know that USDT is widely scrutinized due to its lack of trust assurance in regard to its reserves.
Maybe lack of trust and assurance in ny opinion. In the article it says if not converted or change to accepted crypto then they will automatically converted it to usdc, does this mean that they will not get hold of it and instead change users token into different one. Cause if thats the case there is ni problem with that, but if they gonna take it then thats purely a legitimate scam appro.
2097  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it scam/rugpull or not ($QUON token) ? on: January 11, 2023, 04:25:03 AM
we can see that their softcap for the project they are developing is only 1 $BNB, for real? whether such small funds can really develop a project? LOL. This evidence is indeed not strong evidence, but it can be an indicator that they are going to scam.
Pretty obvious I guess. 1 bnb as softcap is like not enough for such fundamentals of the project. I really think that this project is joking around. I guess the evidence werent not sufficient but the act of deed might get some hint of possible scam. Pink sale presales are legit but afterwards projects did some rug pull. So better to be cautious when dealing with this kind of projects.
2098  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: As a newbie it is better you take custody of your coins on: January 11, 2023, 03:32:39 AM
You said an exchange will leverage on one’s assets with them. Does that mean the funds being kept in the exchange with them will be used for trading and other purposes without us being aware of it, just like the way local bank does with our funds being kept with them?
The funds are in your control there when they reflect on your account balance. He meant is if you are just gonna stay put your money there then its at risk of being freeze or what, at least if you gonna put your funds there use it for exchange or trading to make profit, or to increase your asset value. Thats only my interpretation of what he said.
2099  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A deep understanding of Bitcoin for beginners, it might answer your questions  on: January 10, 2023, 03:52:50 PM
Yes transaction are transparent on bitcoin ledger and has no third parties. But with its application there are tons of thrid party joining the league and also, there are ways to hide the transaction on it using some mixer, though this has been done by others. But you are right its the most decentralized crypto out there and no one can object with that. Bitcoin is the number 1 for a reason and Im glad that you are familiar with it.
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts about Polkadot? on: January 10, 2023, 12:19:58 PM
Guys, what are your thoughts about investing in Polkadot(Dot) right now? Is this time a good entry for buying Polkadot or should I wait for more? I'm not considering holding a long time for a bigger profit. Just looking for a short-term hold.

Any ideas?
Polkadot is a top L1 project and one of the major contender with ethereum, so seeing its price now at this bargain is definitely a gift. Who knows what could be the future of one of thw biggest project. But of course, in terms of trading perspective, we dont know if theres more going down with the current market. But doing DCA is not a bad idea.
