2081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is halving bitcoin on: May 15, 2016, 01:30:03 PM
please for correct me if i'm wrong halving is reduce your block reward from mining it will affect to miner farm if price not increase after halving.

i doubt that halving has any effect on mining farms at all. especially with the current price. those farms are earning a lot of money from mining bitcoin and also some merge mining.
2082  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Craig Wright doing now? on: May 15, 2016, 01:23:25 PM
he is probably sitting around now and looking back and laughing at all those people who believed in his hoax, and didn't think for a second about his suspicious plans.
2083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: May 14, 2016, 03:08:30 PM
Doing all in is very exciting, it make your nerves pump a little bet. I would try to do an experiment one time. This one time will be my last time because I am going to bet my life savings in a dice. 50% low "ALL IN".

Should I do it?

You should pick 50% high you'll regret choosing low, because in low you have a low chance of winning, even it's 50/50  Grin . To be serious, NO! don't bet using your savings , invest it unto something then just bet after you received your investment payout. I'm saving you from the despair of losing your hard earned money , so no, don't do it.  Trust me! I have a neutral trust record.

I would really do it if I become miserable because of this gambling addiction. I have not bet so much in gambling but by doing it regularly it accumulate my losses to huge amount. Thinking my losses would give me a hard to move and I feel like chasing it to get back my losses.

i also do all in sometimes because of the frustration.

but this the the worst idea i can ever have and my experience have also proven this thing to be a bad thing and it mostly results in me losing that bet.
2084  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: May 14, 2016, 03:05:29 PM
generally i don't think altcoins have any effect on bitcoin's developement. but it is possible that they offer some excellent feature that can be also added to bitcoin not that there is any right now.
2085  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price to 600 ? on: May 14, 2016, 03:02:22 PM
What will you guys do if bitcoin price increased to 600.
Will you guys hold or sell your remaining bitcoins BTC

if the price went up to $600 tomorrow morning that i wake up, then i would sell my coins.

but from what i see the price will rise slowly and it might even take two months to get there so i will still continue to hold.
2086  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What websites do you visit to check the price of Bitcoin? on: May 14, 2016, 02:58:40 PM
i use preev.com for checking the price because it is fast and easy. but if i want extra information and news about bitcoin i check Coindesk.com

and if i really want charts and stuff like that i check bitcoinwisdom
2087  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Price of Bitcoin is Now Double What It Was One Year Ago on: May 14, 2016, 02:54:35 PM
it is very interesting to see the bitcoin price charts, nothing can be hidden in the history with charts.

especially when you compare those information with the type of comments you see here about bitcoin soon to drop below 200 type of topics which i always laugh at.
2088  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is good for BTC on: May 14, 2016, 02:51:37 PM
i don't get why ethereum tries to stick itself with bitcoin all the time!

it is just an altcoin which is being pump and dumped, just try to enjoy the ride to the top and get out before it is late.
2089  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any good place for altcoin announcements? on: May 14, 2016, 02:47:46 PM
new coins being created every day with nothing new to offer that makes people sick of seeing a new coin, especially since there are a lot of scams out there.

but for announcement you can use here and reddit or any social media you might have like twitter.
2090  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: May 14, 2016, 02:43:53 PM
Basically the major issue is people don't hold any knowledge related to bitcoin and that is the reason they are not using it, once they gets aware they will surely start using it.

they may even have the knowledge about bitcoin or at least hear about it at some point in their lives but the problem is their ignorance and fear that prevents them from adopting bitcoin.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone have plan to make income on bitcoins :) on: May 14, 2016, 02:40:57 PM
nobody will share their plans if it is working for them, you gotta come up with ways yourself.

although there are many common ways like signature campaign, trading,...
2092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: May 05, 2016, 05:08:32 AM
I would hold on to my bitcons until half, time, then go on a brief vacation in the neighboring state.  you earned the 1.5 Btc so reward yourself.

most people just hold for a amount 1.5BTC if they think bitcoin will touch $100,000? lol

you will not get much benefit only hold 1.5 BTC, but you will spend your time to wait. better try productive with capital 1.5 BTC was better.

well, i kinda wanna agree with this because it is better to use bitcoin rather than just holding it under ground and hoping you become a millionaire just like that.

but holding small amount like 1-1.5BTC is nothing, especially if you have bought it so cheap like at $200 it is like the value of a mediocre cell phone. and keeping that much can actually lead to a good profit if the price goes that high while your are not risking that much money.
2093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did Craig Steven Wight say what he will do with his bitcoins? on: May 05, 2016, 04:59:22 AM
Well, he has 1 million coins.

so you saw the proof of identity that nobody else has seen and now you are saying he HAS 1 million coins!!!

But he said he doesn't want money and he doesn't want fame... He can donate his coins to charity or everyone here!

yeah, sure he doesn't want fame and the first thing he does is contacting 3 of the biggest news agencies and telling them this huge story and make himself famous!!!

Maybe this is just Gavin conspiracy?
I can't believe if wright is satoshi, but he's speak has no doubt and it feel like he's hold a lot bitcoin. And why he's not just posting here with he's account?

this is possible since others have refused to accept CW's request for verifying him as satoshi.
2094  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin go to $500 on: May 05, 2016, 04:55:23 AM
Yes, Bitcoin smoothly goes to $ 500. Recently, the price was about $ 470, and then went to correction, I think it likely upward correction.
According to the latest news and events, I hope that Bitcoin will grow, and the price may grow even $ 500.

500 is the price that will be easily reach, just be patient waiting time. the possibility of mid or end of the month of May we could touch $500, because the price is not so far from the current price.
Yeah its only ~50 dollars high than the current market price and should not be very hard to achieve.
$50 only a distance, but to increase the price as much as $50, it surely must penetrate the great wall of dozens or even millions of bitcoin.

it is just different stages that take time to be fulfilled.
and i think it is a good thing that the rise is happening this way instead of a $500 rise to $1000 in a couple of weeks because that price will not be sustainable while as you can see the ~$440-450 is the current stable price just like the 420, 350, 300, 220 and so on.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Bitcoin is Spreading to Online Casinos on: May 05, 2016, 04:51:59 AM

There are allot of online casinos where you can play for coins but don't trust them all!

well thats why you gotta do your homework before playing at any of these casinos. Check for the reviews and player comments first , that the best advice I can give u.

Always check reviews on Bitcointalk and other places you trust... big casinos can also scam!!!

They're not "Big" if they're scammers, when people talk about "Big" that also means reliable, i.e. won't runaway with your money.

scammers can be "Big" casinos too, but they are rare.
so you can never be sure about this, people are greedy and even if they have big casino with a lot of bets daily and big earning they are still greedy and by running away they can make a very big amount of money because they were popular.

that is why they say, invest what you can afford to lose.
2096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will be ethereum price in 2 years from now ? on: May 05, 2016, 04:42:13 AM
wow, two years! predicting about an altcoin future is hard enough without the long term prediction. in two years there will be a lot more altcoins that can even be at least two more alts that are as big as ethereum and take the market from ethereum and push themselves to the top by attracting all the money in the market to themselves. so it is really impossible to tell and at best eth can be at the $1-5 range.
2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling is Exploding on: May 05, 2016, 04:32:06 AM
Casinos will never close because their business are profitable,
Yeah it sounds bit not possible if all casinos will close. But not all casinos can survive, its like other business, there is a rivalry between them, and I guess few casinos have closed because this.

bitcoin gambling is not illegal because bitcoin are not regulated by the government, that's the beauty of it that is why bitcoin is becoming more stable and expect the price to soar in the near future.
I think since bitcoin could not regulated by the government, they will considerate it as a illegal transaction tool in future.

gambling is illegal in some countries and it doesn't matter what you use (fiat, bitcoin or altcoins) it is against the law and they will not allow the casinos to work in their jurisdiction. so that doesn't mean you can gamble with bitcoin and it is ok, you can do it with vpn though and cover your identity.
2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many of you can honestly profit playing poker? on: May 05, 2016, 04:28:01 AM
i am not exactly an expert or professional poker player but i am average at poker but i have never had a good chance of winning in any online poker games because i am playing against a monitor not a face Smiley

but whenever i play poker with my friends that are at the same level as me i have a better chance and more fun because i am playing against a face Smiley
2099  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Sports Betting available on: May 05, 2016, 04:23:57 AM
minimum deposit of 0.1BTC is so high for a brand new website with no prior history. you should make it free and do some giveaways first so people can test your website and build up trust with 0.0001BTC amounts for minimum and if anybody wants they will deposit more.
Yes, that is true, we are afraid the we will be scam,OP should consider changing his marketing strategy and should know which market he should capture first. Being new in business he should focus to the volume of micro bettors.

yeah the scam part is the biggest issue here but it is not the only one. there are two more issues here.
since there are other casinos that we can do our sports betting and they are accepting much less amount nobody will come here.
also since it is a new system there are bugs in the system for sure so investing big amount is risky.
2100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bet on Dr Craig Wright proving he is Satoshi or not! on: May 05, 2016, 04:18:43 AM
VitalBet: I have been having trouble signing into my account for some reason. I have tried logging in with Firefox (my normal browser), Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome. Whenever I type in the password correctly, it greys out the login form and nothing happens.

I had deposited a total of 0.1BTC and I am very disappointed in this. I was able to login in correctly the first time, but now this happens. Are you trying to steal my funds?
