1121  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF happening to the price on: January 07, 2017, 12:16:08 PM
nothing new is happening!

this is the same old bitcoin with thousands of newbies invested in it. the newbies had a fear of missing out a couple of weeks ago and caused the price to go from $790 to $1150 in a short while and now the same newbies are panicking and dumping their coins and whales are playing with their minds at the moment with the FUD they keep spreading and make millions of dollars from this process.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site? on: January 07, 2017, 10:57:34 AM
Best bitcoin gambling site that you can Recommend,?

that is such a broad question, you have to narrow it down. for example what kind of game do you want to see? not all the sites have all the games you know.
you can go back a level and see all the sites that are available: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=56.0 and offering different games.

for dice i suggest: bitsler.com
for sports betting i suggest my signature sportsbet.io
and for poker i have not yet found a good site
and other games you have to ask specifically so that i can give you sites.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which bitcoin gambling site is your favorite place to go? on: January 07, 2017, 10:52:22 AM
I am just wondering what are your favorite Bitcoin gambling sites and why?  Smiley

nothing at the moment, i am trying to hold on to my coins for the time being and even buy more and i don't gamble that much these days.
but in general i am a big fan of dice games and among all the currently available dice sites i prefer bitsler as the togo site where i gamble dice.
1124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of wallet do you use? on: January 07, 2017, 10:47:49 AM
obviously aside from cold storage in paper wallets i have another wallet and i have always been using a light (SPV) wallet called electrum all these years but it has been some time that i have been thinking about running a Full node myself. i am having some trouble with my internet provider but as soon as i sort that out i will start my own full node, and my computer is running long hours already better if i contribute to bitcoin network too.
1125  Economy / Speculation / Re: Its not as bad as it looks on: January 06, 2017, 01:18:12 PM
I went to https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitfinex/btcusd and looked at the chart for the 1w time interval and this drop looks like a healthy pullback. What do you think?

i totally agree with this and also i say as long as you are zooming out of the chart and looking at the price change for a much longer period than just a couple of weeks (one way is choosing 1w interval) you get a better feeling about what is happening with bitcoin price.

It's just strange that not all exchanges are at the same price yet. They are off quite a bit. One says $890 another says $880 and yobit had it at $986 but since yesterday I could not even get to that site anymore. Undecided

having a couple of bucks difference is normal between top exchanges and also it is normal to see a huge difference between the top exchanges and those bad exchanges like yobit who nobody trades at. it is because they don't have any volume so the price never changes.
1126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoin to invest in for 2017 and WHY !!! on: January 06, 2017, 01:11:13 PM
to be honest in 2017 i am waiting for the coin of the year. because so far every year there has been an altcoin that is being pump and dumped real hard and there are lots of profit opportunities to take advantage of in these coins.
last year it was ethereum and this year i am looking forward to seeing what will replace it.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and gambling on: January 06, 2017, 01:05:54 PM
Hello,

We all see how big is going to be Bitcoin again but personally I am thinking how the bitcoin price is affecting the market of gambling?

Cheers

looks like it doesn't matter much not because we are back at the normal bitcoin price levels once again and the slow rise is going to start soon and with a slow and stable rise nobody thinks much about changing their plans in gambling and the gambling market is not affected much because of it.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I invest in bitcoin casinos? on: January 06, 2017, 12:59:07 PM
In my opinion fast increase in bitcoin's price makes investing more dangerous, since it makes more tempting for owners to commit exit scam. For example, many casinos now have over control of over 1 million USD of funds in their bankroll and anonymous owners who might vanish at any time.

i agree and we should be careful when we want to make investment in any programs. maybe we can make investment in medium amount so we don't have to be worried and we can watch our investment is grow but we must select only the good casino.

"Only the good casinos" are there bad casinos too? All of them are offering you exactly the same chances, because you lost your money on one it doesn't mean it's rigged or bad - you assumed that risk when you deposited your money. What you must look for is a safer investment. A lucky gambler can win the bankroll at any time.

Not that they are bad, it's just that their are casinos that would be more profitable than others. Some factors that affect the profitability of investing in casinos is how many bettors gamble at the casino and the tendency of the owners to run away with the whole bank roll. So you have to determine these factors before investing into them.

with casinos you can make profit in the long run because we all know that the house always wins and you are a partner of the house and can make profit that way when the house wins. but in general you can never tell these things ahead of time since gambling is risky for both sides.
1129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: January 06, 2017, 12:55:03 PM
the year started up great for everyone holding bitcoin and trading it when it went up to $1100++ but these days people are sad seeing the price go down. but i say it is temporary and when the dust settles we can start seeing things pick up again and bitcoin becomes great a gain.

another thing that i am looking forward to is a solution for the block size increase which i hope something happens this year finally.
1130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Please give me advice, Bitcoin will rise again or go to hell? I'm scared on: January 05, 2017, 06:30:00 PM
I'm scared because price Bitcoin down, I do not know what to do with Bitcoin at this time Cry

if you are already scared just because of a simple correction then you are missing the point of investment. you should know as first thing, that any investment is risky and you may lose money. in case of bitcoin this risk is a bit higher.
now about the price. it went up from $780 to $1160 in a very short period, and it needed to be corrected, it did by coming down to $950. looking at a bigger picture it is a $170 rise, take that and call it a win.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamling with a high risk and high rewards or low risk and low rewards? on: January 05, 2017, 06:22:44 PM
If you are a gambler and have 2 option :
1. Put your money in high risk game with high rewards.
2. Put your money in low risk game with low rewards.
Then which one you choose?

If the gambler wanted to be in long term in gambling then surely they will chose 2nd choice as low risk game with low rewards but sure rewards will be good, like in sports betting when you are sure of the match winner with some more bets which odds are low but sure winning then they will bet on them so that let it be low reward but in long term ROI you will be in high profit ration.

you can choose either of them and stay the same amount of time with the same results in the end only if you choose your strategies right. for example if you choose a high risk, high reward strategy you shouldn't make huge bets, you make small bets which means you can make more bets.
and when you choose the other one you have to make bigger bets because the reward is small so you can only make small number of bets.
in the end they both will be the same.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling investment is zero sum on: January 05, 2017, 05:32:38 PM
Gambling investment is zero or negative sum, considering the house has to profit.

So why are you guys do bitcoin gambling as an investment instruments? OR merely just for the fun, like going to a physical casino.

your topic subject is so misleading, as others pointed out, you should edit it because when you say gambling investment it means investing in a gambling casino's bankroll and share in the profit the house makes and it is a completely different thing and while it is still risky but it can be profitable.

and about using gambling as an investment to make money from gambling i have to say it is not a good idea but it is not impossible either. you just have to choose the game and the strategy you want to use carefully.
1133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better? To gamble or to invest? on: January 05, 2017, 05:26:17 PM
actually you can not earn fast from gambling because as what you've said you only have small chance to win from it .

Small chance and yet people keep on trying to get some luck from gambling, wether you want to accept the fact or not actually some people are rich from gambling. Some people keep on choosing to gamble instead of investing because it is way faster and of course it comes with a risk as well

well you should never expect to get rich from gambling but, making profit is still possible even in games like dice.
but generally i would say that making profit from games like sports betting is much easier and definitely possible as long as the person making the bets is experienced enough in the field of gambling on sports.
1134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Huge drop while i am asleep! This is BS on: January 05, 2017, 05:20:55 PM
you were asleep when it happened, i went to have dinner and came back to see $1100 is turned into $950 Cheesy

I sold, i was still making a profit. The question is now when to buy back. By the look of things it looks like a pretty big gamble.

at this point and specially after seeing the huge resistance at $850 and the bigger tendency to stay above $900 i'd say it is a great time to buy below $1000 before it is too late.
1135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal is seeking Advice regarding Cryptocurrency on: January 05, 2017, 05:13:25 PM
man who cares about paypal accepting cryptocurrencies, if you want to use a method to do payments online do it directly with bitcoin, what is the point of using a third party as bad as paypal and pay them extra amount of fee just so that they allow you to use your bitcoin and if they decide, block you.
1136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase hack rumor on: January 05, 2017, 05:06:18 PM
i am not using it but i have been hearing people report that they can use GDAX which is the product of coinbase and they have no problem with using it.

but it certainly is strange they they didn't release an statement saying they were down because of overload or a hack.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Do You Think Is a Fair Investment Profit? on: January 03, 2017, 03:16:49 PM
I love investing!  I just wish there were more places to do it at (that are legit anyway). I am wondering though, in your opinion, what would you consider a decent payout per day/month?

Upon surfing the net, I often see promises of incredible amounts (obviously, those are scams, no doubt), and I was told that a 10% investment after four months was pretty good. So I'm not sure what to expect, especially from where I'm invested at (gambling sites).

Personally, if 10% after four months is good, then the daily 0.5% that I'm making on my own is pretty freaking great. I currently have a goal, aiming for a monthly 15%-30% investment profit, but I have horrible luck too, heh. We'll see.

So what do you think? What is fair to you? Let's talk real numbers though, and not expect a 1000% daily profit. Be realistic now! Smiley

Also, what's the most that you've made in a day/month? Mine was 20% in two weeks, too bad I didn't invest a whole lot...!

if there were a legitimate place which i would be 100% sure that they are going to give me 10% in 4 months (2.5% per month) i would invest and i think it is a pretty good deal.

but places like that are never found, in risks are usually high and i am only talking about legit investments, and with high risks the 2.5% per month becomes a very small reward. it needs to be a lot higher to interest me.

in short i can say there must be a balance between the risk and the reward i get.
1138  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best traders in the world – what they have in common on: January 03, 2017, 03:05:20 PM
the best traders are those who have started from zero and learned everything slowly with patience. and through this process learned that patience is the key to every successful trade they make. and in this patience you have to be fast too. it means waiting for the best moment and then act on it as fast as possible. I keep seeing novice traders who are patient and then when the moment arrives the decide to be more patient and it means losing the opportunity.
Anyone who want to become a good trader he should start trading from a very little amount and then he should give good time to trading and to get a good experience, all the successful traders have the same secret that they get experience in trading by spending more time in learning the tactics of trading.

anyone who wants to learn about trading should not just start it by jumping in. he should first learn what trading is and how things work. preferably spend a moderate amount of time reading some trading related resources to educate himself and then start getting his feet wet.
1139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price. Whats your prediction? on: January 03, 2017, 03:00:40 PM
Well my prediction is that its a bump of Market. The price may remain at 1k$ for a month i guess but it will come back soon in the end of January or in the start or mid of FEB.
So, Guys what is the best option HOLD or SELL?
What is your prediction what will be the peak point of the Bitcoin this month in JAN?

Good Luck Guys.

there will be a correction for sure, because there always is one after a rise. but because of the good shape market is in, i doubt that a correction would be big or even last long. that is why i am expecting possible temporary breaking of $1000 to go down and jump right back up.
1140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: January 03, 2017, 02:51:11 PM
On the average,we can all agree that gambling might not be profitable whether short term or long term because the final determination is to compare the overall winning with overall losses and that will happen if I have made up my mind to quit. However, what I will see as longterm is actually reducing the amount of losses made, thereby increasing the gains. For some games that relies on luck such as dice or high and low from now till ten years I will say the chances of winnings will still remain same but for games like PVP then number of years will count towards logterm profitability.

well the games like dice and others that you named here are purely based on luck, and this means you can not do anything to change the results. when you roll a dice you can win or lose and it doesn't matter if you have lost 1000000 times before that you can still lose.

but in games that are based on skills there is a totally different story going on. if you spend some time learning the skills needed for those games you can eventually turn them into a profitable thing. but it takes time.
