2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: April 05, 2014, 12:41:27 PM
Twelve pages of transactions associated with what I thought was my unique account #. More confused than ever. Huh

I miss btc 1.0.
2102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: April 05, 2014, 12:38:09 PM
thx for replying. I'm sure I saw it before, but this thread 2.0 is insanely long. Can you direct me to the nxt block explorer?

n/m page 1 was updated with it. duh.
2103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NXT :: descendant of Bitcoin - Updated Information on: April 05, 2014, 12:28:52 PM
I must have something wrong. Bought some nxt off cryptsy and sent them to my freshly set up account. Cryptsy took 7hrs to indicate "processed" and 14hrs later I still don't have any nxt in my account. Anyone know what I'm missing here?

also under "My transactions" it says I have 112 dating back to 11/24 even though I set up the client yesterday. One transaction from feb 9 matches my account#, but I only installed the client yesterday(April 4).

confused.

Are account #'s not unique? How long do transfers generally take with this thing?
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: April 04, 2014, 07:56:58 PM
Read it when it was posted. Removed ctm & zet just fine. Perhaps coinex management should read their own posts.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: April 04, 2014, 07:49:05 PM
So if I'm correct...blah blah

you're not.

NXT and NEM are the 2 I invested in.

Trying real hard to like nxt. I've gone through about 100pgs for the endless thread, set up a client, and put a few coins in there. Unfortunately I can't escape the feeling that it's just a premined scam coin with massively centralized distribution. Those guys are mining all the transaction fees and everyone joining in now gets diddly.

Isn't nem still vapors?

2106  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Alt coin to invest in 2014 on: April 04, 2014, 04:19:55 PM
I wish I would have never posted in this thread.  Pointless it is.

Then it would follow that posting in this thread a second time to point out how pointless it is to post in this thread would itself be doubly pointless.
2107  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: April 04, 2014, 03:46:45 PM
Or hashfast folks can just buy from VMC...

link to in-stock items in the setup post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=557311.0

That sounds grate! Now how do we get those scammers over at hashlast to send the scammers over at vmc the bitcoin we already paid for products last year?

This just gets better and better.

...and by better and better I mean shittier and shittier.

Sure hope none of the slimebag execs at these scammy companies choke on their escargot.
2108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: April 04, 2014, 03:30:08 PM
This was a special situation where the exchange suddenly went down for nearly two weeks. Wiping the order book in that situation is a no-brainer...or should have been. It just shows their lack of competence.
2109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange on: April 04, 2014, 03:13:30 PM
This exchange is a total joke. Pure amateur hour. Addresses that work fine everywhere else are deemed invalid on coinex. They can't secure the place and they don't understand the importance of wiping the orderbook after being shut down for nearly two weeks.

completely done with these rookies.
2110  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast Sierra's Owners Thread on: April 04, 2014, 08:56:49 AM
...are they actually giving refunds though? These guys seriously need to spend some time in lockup.

well that mini ask wall on mintpal at 2st is poorly placed as you can already buy it out and make a profit dumping the zeitcoin on cryptsy.

 Shocked
2113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are all dying on: April 03, 2014, 07:22:38 PM
It's not that simple. Not every alt is well suited or designed to compete with btc/ltc for mass consumer adoption as a currency.

cryptsy or mintpal...same ask now I believe.

coinex wouldn't allow people to withdraw zeit last I checked.
2115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi released all the coins you see today in 2009, which would you pick? on: April 03, 2014, 02:49:53 PM
This proposition is insensible. It is like asking if Disney released Frozen in the theaters, on DVD, and on BitTorrent all at the same time, which would you choose?  And then after downloading it, thanking BitTorrent for making the movie, not Disney the greedy thugs whose employees expect to get paid to work, you know, unlike Satoshi who worked for free, and holds coins which are nothing more than random numbers out of thin air that have value only because the idea he created and gave away turned out to have some sort of merit.
2116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are all dying on: April 03, 2014, 02:47:28 PM
It's like giving out pebbles, and saying each is worth 10US$. It's not.

Funny you say that since dollars are just cotton with green ink on them that someone told you was worth something. Oh and if you say it's not they'll toss you in the can.

Greece coin now is at 7799 Satoshi, Blitz coin now is at 385 Satoshi and Zeitcoin is at 2 Satoshi. What that coins have that zeit doesn`t.The conclusions yours.Zeit coin it has to be at 5000 Satoshi but....

Yes, but Blitz and Greece have less coins I think. Comparison needs to be at least on marketcap (for value of coin) and trade volume (for popularity). If trade volume is low for a long time, but price is high, usually coin is pumped but not backed up by a community and will drop later on fast. Zeitcoin is currently placed around place 50 in coinmarketcap and then same on trade volume. So the price is justified and backed up.

actually zeit is up to 39 now. It's had a good 24hrs.

getting pretty sick of seeing that 70m zeit sell wall on cryptsy.
2120  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: AntMiner S2 1TH/s Miner (1w/GH/s) on: April 01, 2014, 05:05:34 PM
Not. Didn't order any s2 units. Wouldn't matter anyway. All we have to go on is what they say and what they've done. If they run off with the coins and never ship there's likely very little anyone can/will do about it.
