I've got ~12 PHS stuck in withdrawal at cryptsy right now and I'm not overly happy about it. It's been over a week.
I'm also waiting for my PHS withdrawal. Best way IMO is to sent a support ticket to cryptsy. Maybe this will speed up things. Did you get your withdrawal? I need to do the same. <sigh> 33k stuck. no explanation offered, just apologies and a happy "very soon". second ticket filed. |

Most of that supply has been on the exchange since the mining started, it's just whales who want rid of them... The multipools should help them out... It's still early yet but the more coins distributed to people who want to see this coin grow the better.. Agree completely and as I said I'm delighted those coins won't be staking. I'd like to see us find price stability and move on to focusing on the Zeitcoin community's objectives going forward. I don't think this week could have played out much better for Zeitcoin and it's supporters. It's been fantastic. |

Zeitcoin is never going to move like heavily manipulated coins with tiny floats. Don't set yourself up for disappointment with unattainable expectations. Mintpal ask has already gone from 3 satoshis to 9 satoshis in one week. The rapid 200% increase has brought out the sellers. Let them keep all their coins on mintpal & cryptsy where they won't be staking. I'll be keeping my coins in my wallet where they belong paying me stake and protecting the blockchain.
Myself like everyone else here have their coins already in the wallet, i've waited long enough for staking to begin and i won't reset it just for a tiny profit, the price will go up once the multipools get going and we take the coins from those weak hands/sellers... they will be put back into our wallet and we will rinse, repeat... at least until the price hits something reasonable... Getting past 10 sat is the next goal... those walls will drop once we hit a higher value. Currently on the ask side at Mintpal: 2,448,533,183 Currently on the ask side at Cryptsy: 125,731,440 Total Zeit available for immediate purchase: 2,574,264,623 (9.46% of total supply) Someone didn't get the memo. Seriously doubt that cryptsy number is nearly high enough, I think they just only show the relevant portion of their order book. Obviously this doesn't include the number of uncommitted Zeits in people's wallets on exchanges. Edit: For the record this number seems quite low to me. Less than 10% of float for sale at a given moment is encouraging. |

How can people still believe these companies are all "messing up"? Here's a product with very high R&D costs, very high retail value, and a ridiculously short shelf life. All this taken together means that manufacturers are incentivized to defraud their customers. They don't have to steal anything, all they have to do is create the product and mine with it while at the same time finding every excuse in the book not to ship on time. When the equipment is no longer profitable or barely profitable and or they've got their new and improved product to peddle they'll suddenly start shipping their now near worthless orders. Hasn't hashfail been squawking about their new and improved product for weeks?

That's exactly what I'm trying to get a sense of - going forward, is this coin going to behave like POS coins BlackCoin and Faircoin, or is it going to behave like another pump and dump POW coin? You have to understand this coin isn't built like BC and Dark. The current Zeitcoin money supply is 27,203,668,083 which is many many times the supply of BC and Dark combined(74.4m & 3.7m). Coins with tiny supply are easily pushed around by whales. As Zeitcoin's value rises it will become less and less volatile over time. So by that token, it would appear that there is 365x more zeit than there is of BC. By that token, in order for Zeit to experience a similar price rise up to BC's level, it would have to get to 136 satoshi in order for zeit and BC to have the same value. That means that getting to 100 satoshi would put market value at 27200 BTC, or $11.4m assuming BTC price of $420. That would put it in 7-10th place in market cap depending on which site you use, which is pretty impressive. 1000 satoshi would put it in the top 3. It will take a lot just to put a $11.4m market cap on this coin, much less $114m, on a sustainable level. meh. Give it a year of fiat inflation and 11.4m or 114m will seem that much more attainable. I don't believe blackcoin's meteoric rise is based on fundamentals. Nor do I believe it's current market cap is either justifiable or sustainable. Expecting Zeitcoin exchange rates to soar to the moon overnight is akin to expecting black's stake payout to spontaneously multiply itself by 25. |

The whale in question wiped out the entire ask side of the order book up to 16 and then dumped on the bid side down to 4. No idea why someone would do this, but they ended up with a whole lot more Zeitcoin coin than they started with. If the intent was to dump and smash the price, well then they failed miserably.  Drk doesn't pay a stake every month so there's far less reason to buy and hold. What do you think their intent was? What are the size, mindset and plans of the big whale-owners - those are my big questions. Dont want exposure to a coin that behaves like a POW-like, whale-dump-susceptible coin. Hard to say what motivates another. The result of their actions was accumulation and a breakup of the logjam at mintpal. You have to understand this coin isn't built like BC and Dark. The more I think of it, what has been done in FairCoin is an address swapping mechanism, they use http://wafflepool.com/ (witch pays in BTC). So if you swap the HBN address for a BTC address and use wafflepool's infrastructure, then when the amount of BTC is big enough, you buy HBN and then distribute it back to the matching HBN address. I think it's brilliant and could be done fairly quickly. at least it could be a start. That's the system the Zeitcoin devs implemented yesterday. The price has since doubled. Though to be fair, it did double from extremely low levels. |
